Price:good Food:good We were the first people in the store, and to order and received our starters after almost 40 minutes and the pizza after 60 minutes. Take out orders seemed to be prioritised. The pizza was extremely soggy. Interior is kinda cozy, but feels more cramped. The high chairs and tabled don't create an enjoyable atmosphere. Probably won't come again.

In my opinion, this is the best pizza in all of Dresden. It's incredibly delicious—we briefly felt like we were on vacation.

Very friendly service and superb, authentic food. Everything was fresh, and the espresso at the end was even on the house.

We had a good time, the pizza was good, and so was the service. We didn't have the pasta, so I can't comment on that.

Well, that was disappointing. I think we hit the rush hour as waiting time for two pizzas was longer than 30 mins. First of all pizza was very wet, especially in the middle. They would not cut the pizza, so you must do it yourself, and to cut wet dough with a knife is not easy at all. So I ended up cutting in half and folding the halvs in quarters, eating them like a sandwich. For me also pizza was very salty. Overall, in my opinion you are doing it on your risk, i have been there and not planning to go again.

Nico and Antonio :) Honestly one of the warmest cutest place i’ve ever been. I’m living in Germany for 6 months now, this place was so friendly and so welcoming. Especially Antonio, thanks again for everything and for being so nice! I’m a solo traveler so i usually sat at the bar alone and read a little, chatted with Antonio a little and enjoyed the delicious food there. I know i’m gonna miss the food so much and this place would be the first spot i will go again if i’m ever in Dresden again. Beautiful people and beautiful food!

THE BEST food experience I have had in a very long time. The food was extremely authentic, the ingredients were impeccable. We had a fish pasta with homemade pasta, it was filled with olives and capers, couldn’t want for more. Then our pizza was delicious you could taste the quality of the flower and was laden prosciutto. It was such a pleasant surprise, the staff were extremely friendly and gave great recommendations. Almost forgot the little pastry I had for desert. It was just the most perfect crunchy tasty thing I have had. Everything was extremely fresh so a full 15/10 if you are looking for great food. The ambiance is more of a hole in the wall feel, not much seating, but the food makes you forget all about it.

Italians work and cook, it's very cheap and tasty, the waiters are nice, the cafe was full on a weekday evening.

I’ve been to Sapori d'Italia many times, and every visit has been perfect. The ingredients are truly Italian, and you can taste the authenticity in every dish. They slice the cured meats fresh on the spot, the pizzas are even better than in Rome, the pasta is outstanding, and the tiramisu along with the coffee are simply exceptional. Without a doubt, the best Italian restaurant in Dresden. The food is of the highest quality, with an excellent price-quality ratio. The atmosphere is charming and peaceful, making it the perfect place to enjoy a great meal. The service is impeccable, with warm and professional attention. A special thanks to Matteo and Nico, who were incredibly helpful and attentive. Highly recommended!

Best pizzeria in Dresden Neustadt.

Look, I get it, most Americans are awful and annoying travelers. But it's not because someone speaks English (among other languages) and not German, that you have to offer poor service. I know, Dresden is bad for receiving people from other places and understanding that not one language is better than another. But, damn, get it together! All is to stay, that they assumed I was American (I heard them) through very limited interaction and thus offered very poor service.

If you value a family evening full of Italian hospitality and great food, this is the place for you. We were there spontaneously on Saturday evening without a reservation and got two seats at the table with random people. Was very nice. Prices are completely reasonable and the food is outstanding. The antipasti plate gets an extra recommendation. We will definitely come back again.

The restaurant is full to the brim and only 2 waitresses - one of whom is still baking pizza. Well, that's probably why the price of the food can be so low. On the other hand, money is made through expensive drinks and long waiting times.

Just found it spontaneously during a visit to Dresden. Is now our favorite Carbonara in Germany. We are still raving about the pasta two years after our visit and are planning a weekend in Dresden soon - on the one hand to explore the city extensively and on the other hand to finally be able to eat the pasta here again. Absolute recommendation 😃

The restaurant feels authentic and the pizzas seem genuine and honest. That's how Sapori was recommended to me. The pizzas are “bowed” with thin dough, just like a real Italian pizza does. The taste is not very intense; others would probably assume that there was “saving” on ingredients and spices. When it comes to the pasta, I unfortunately have to criticize that the carbonara is made with cream and unfortunately doesn't use real guanciale as ham. In addition to some wines and soft drinks, the drinks menu also offers spirits, but in addition to grappa, it excludes other Italian liqueurs such as limoncello and the like. The Aperol is discreetly inconspicuous. The prices for these are medium to high. As far as I know, reservations are not possible, the service speaks Italian and, with a certain lively hustle and bustle behind the counter, creates a certain flair that I would also look for in a Mediterranean area. Nevertheless, the men are somewhat attentive, which is why you have to actively visit them repeatedly to place orders. All in one an okay experience. It's worth a look if you're there, but I wouldn't bother strolling there from the old town.

Even though it was just before closing time, you still got what you wanted without any ifs or buts. And it was very tasty! We'll be back!

Initially one of the best pizzerias in the Neustadt. Today even the pizzas at the kebab restaurant taste better. Too bad An hour's wait for a pizza and then there's almost nothing on it. This saves a lot of cheese. They have also become more expensive. There are better Italians in the Neustadt. I give sapori two more years.

Food was pretty good! Though we had an awkward situation with the service - some random dish was brought to the table together with our order as the lady "was pretty sure" we asked for. We explained that we did not, but we can take it if it is any problem to return it. The lady was told by the boss that it can be returned, by anyway from that point on she was very upset and was blaming was for "causing problems" to her, she even had to mention day again during payment xD So the basic tip for the service to avoid unneeded frustration in the future - just repeat the order at the end of collecting it. Like it's done in most most the restaurants. Good luck!

I do not recommend, at least not with delivery. Pizza was lukewarm at best and arrived in pretty bad shape (see photo). As for ingredients - artichoke had quite distinct vinegar aftertaste, and one piece was very hard.

Sooooooo delicious, the pizza, the bread, the sausage/cheese platter: everything is the finest. The Sapori d'Italia is a fixture on every visit to Dresden. Because it is not an Italian like any other. Here you get a small piece of dolce vita straight from the stone oven on your plate and you have to restrain yourself from eating the whole place empty. However, there is no need for advertising as it is “unfortunately” no longer an insider tip. That's why you actually have to rush in as soon as the store opens to get a spot. Unless, like us, you are lucky enough to meet nice people from Dresden who exchange their table for a smaller one so that we don't miss our favorite pizza on our trip. Thank you again.

My absolute favorite, favorite pizzeria! The antipasti starter plate is highly recommended and it is always worth taking a look at the daily menu. Always worth a visit, I've never been disappointed!

Speaking as a vegan person. I had partner a pizza. Nothing was really remarkable. Biggest but is that they put milk in their pizza dough, making it impossible for vegans to order any of them. I had some pasta Arrabiatta and ordered to add some mushrooms on top. Sadly they first put cheese on it, after specifically mentioning I was vegan and agreeing that the pasta was vegan with no eggs. When they changed it they were nice about and did it quickly to fix their mistake, however instead of penne they changed it to spaghetti, which were not so good. Must say tho that they were really nice about their mistake and reduced some money from the bill and also apologised many times. Outside area is nice, however inside it feels a bit too closed and dark and the tables are high with high stools as well.

Very good restaurant with Italian food. We ordered pizza, pasta, lassagne and buratte. All dishes were very good, the service was very polite and helpful. The food was served quickly and without any reservations. It's not a Michelin-starred restaurant, but I recommend it and I'll definitely visit it when I'm in the area.

Catastrophic. You shouldn't come here hungry. It's best to eat a kebab beforehand. Waiting for over an hour before the starter even came. 1.5 hours between entering the store and receiving the main course. Too few staff, no recognizable system. Pasta was missing salt, pizza toppings had no taste, tomato sauce tasted like pureed tomatoes - unseasoned straight from the can.

This is a small but cozy place run by Italians. Very tasty crust (not like in Naples so not authentic) but really tasty. Great wine and very friendly service. If I lived in Dresden, I would be a regular. Definitely a very tasty and amazing experience. Grazie mille

The pizzas here are AMAZING!!!! They take a long time to bring your food as it is very busy. We pre-order to go, and our food was ready around 15 minutes later than the agreed time, so patience is recommended but definitely worth it. All my Italian friends are crazy about this place, and now I understand why. Everything is really fresh and the prices are very reasonable. We will definitely come back.

War früher stark aber mittlerweile hat das Essen stark nach gelassen. Pizza ist gut aber der Antipasti Teller war viel zu klein für 11,20€ und die Carbonara war mit Sahne.

Pizza ist lecker, aber der Service einfach nicht gut. Meine Pizza wurde nun zum dritten Mal einfach vergessen. Nach einer Stunde Wartezeit und einer völlig normalen Nachfrage dann noch angemeckert worden. Schade

Leider hat die Qualität sehr nachgelassen, früher war die Pizza zum niederknien, jetzt ist es eine lieblos zubereitete, durchgeweichte Masse.Schade

Kleiner Imbiss mit Sitzgelegenheiten drinnen und draußen. Ich hatte eine Spaghetti Bolognese, die durchschnittlich war. Auch die Bedienung war nicht unfreundlich, aber auch nicht besonders freundlich. Insgesamt macht man mit dem Besuch keinen Fehler, kann aber sicher besser italienisch essen. Vielleicht habe ich aber auch einen schlechten Tag erwischt oder das Falsche gegessen, da die anderen Rezensionen ja durchaus positiv sind.

I visited the place on a weekday afternoon. The service was horrible to put it in a polite way. The waiter said they need 40mins for a pizza and that a pasta would be quicker. But they took 45 minutes even for a pasta. The taste was not bad but definitely not worth the 45 minute wait. And all this while the place wasn't even full. There were empty tables seen.

Eine schöne Pizzeria in der Neustadt im Herzen von Dresden. Pizza ist gut, lecker und auch nicht zu teuer. Angenehmes Ambiente. Einen Stern Abzug, weil es keinen Rosé gab. Aber ansonsten definitiv eine Empfehlung.

Me and my wife went for dinner at Sapori based on its high score from reviews. Big dissapointment. This is not an italian restaurant. We ordered the shrimp pasta and the artichoke pizza. Shrimps were so small, no flavor, and this was the most expensive pasta from the menu. The pizza was put in the oven on a tray, of course the result was an uncooked dough at the bottom. This is not the italian way to properly cook a pizza. Service was good and fast, even when the place was crowded. Parmesan cheese for the pasta is freshly grated.

Top Essen, authetisch italienisch. Pizza kostet um die 10Euro. Nicht umbedingt das gemütlichste Restaurant aber ea hat eben einen einfacheren Charm!

Wir waren begeistert, sehr kleines und uhriges Restaurant, einen Tisch zu bekommen ist schon fast Glück. Aber das hat seinen Grund, super frisch, einfach richtig italienisch und authentisch.
