We, my wife and I, went to 'Let's Dance' in the SAP Arena on November 5th, 2024. The tens of thousands of visitors were well accommodated. The hall was able to cope well with the flow of visitors. In my opinion, the visibility was good from everywhere. The acoustics could have been a little better, but that was probably due to the technology. The show itself was great. Just arriving and departing by car is always a challenge. You have to take waiting times into account.

Stairs to the seats have no handrails and cannot be accessed by people with limited mobility without assistance.

Art of German engineers. Especially in times like these, places like the SAP Arena make me look with appreciation for the good that Germany can produce. Despite the 12,599 other spectators who were at the ice hockey game with us, I never had the feeling that we were standing on each other's feet or that it was too tight. The multifunctional approach of the hall is also excellent. The multimedia show and the atmosphere are a pure joy. Then to everyone who makes something like this possible.

Adler-Mannheim game in the arena with a visit to the VIP lounge. Great atmosphere in the hall and impressive catering with perfect service in the VIP area.

It's a good stadium for watching hockey. I was there for a game against Cologne and we won. I love the atmosphere. The card price is really cheap, The grocery store prices were also good

So I've been there again for a long time to see if anything has changed, but it's still the same dirty shop as before. The employees were unkempt and sometimes like they were on drugs. I wonder who hires people like that, I don't even want to start with the hygiene, it smells strange there too. Sorry, just one star from me.

The transport connections are an absolute disaster. Anyone who can should travel by public transport. I stood in a traffic jam with my disabled mother for a good two hours trying to get into the disabled parking space. The parking spaces were extremely overcrowded and the traffic was a disaster.

Great afternoon, were there for ice hockey. Seats were ok and in the correct order. (see Schwarzwaldhalle, Karlsruhe) :-)

Sufficient parking spaces even if the concert is sold out, a flat rate parking fee of 6 euros for an event is ok, the exit ticket can be purchased upon arrival and saves a lot of nerves, otherwise everything else is just unspectacularly good.

What I didn't like was that people with disabilities who had a place in the parquet were not allowed in downstairs but had to laboriously scramble down the stairs. The situation during the break regarding the toilets is not ideal. There are too few of them and they are not optimally signposted. Udo Jürgen’s event was great 👍

A great event with a bitter aftertaste. Unfortunately all access roads were blocked. Although under normal circumstances we would have been there 45 minutes before the start, we are overall. Arrived 1 hour 15 late. No traffic guidance, information or other assistance. Pure traffic chaos...extremely unfortunate

That's why the Adler Mannheim like to play in the SAP Arena.

Quick connection to the transport infrastructure. Everything clean and friendly staff. Very good and sufficient parking spaces. At a concert, relatively good acoustics for a multifunctional arena.

If you visit the SAP Arena, you are in good hands in the P6 parking lot. After the event, all hell breaks loose in parking lots 1-3. The exit takes at least 30-60 minutes. I was there about 1.5 hours before the event and had free choice. Was able to park right at the exit. From there the walk is about 8 minutes. I was out on the street in 4 minutes after the event. Parking tickets should be paid before the event. The machine is right in the parking lot.

Poorly organized, cup return takes 30 minutes. Instead of deposit returns with separate stands, you have to queue where everyone orders. This can be done much better, but it spoils the experience and there are other concert venues that can do it better. It's especially annoying when you miss the concert during the break. This is not because they are temporary workers, but someone has to organize and manage it.

Very cool arena. Great fans. Okay food. Highly recommended to experience it.

We were in the VIP area at the Night of the Proms. Great show and great organization and premises

We were there more often. Then came the Sebastian Fitzek Show. According to Google Maps, the journey takes 35 minutes. After 3 hours of traffic for 4 kilometers, we got in at 9:30 p.m. instead of 8:00 p.m. I try to remain objective. There are always explanations why something like this happens. Crisis management, disaster control, SAP Arena, police, fire brigade have failed due to ABSENCE, ZERO COMMUNICATION. The employees with direct contact with the public (drivers) deserve respect: left alone, even without information: follow the convoy, the park operations employees said, they knew nothing : collected a €6 fee for this. I don't want to know what they would have to listen to! Insults, insults...Arena employees top: escorted to the seat at 10:30. The show was great, what we saw was great, but the part we missed was even more bitter... in retrospect, I'm happy to be back home in good health without any damage to the car. There was a lot of desperation, and at some point aggressiveness was felt among the drivers. The whole time there was NO information on the radio: traffic jam reports0 it wasn't bad enough. It scares me when I think about what could happen in an emergency (catastrophe). I hope this was a wake-up call for everyone responsible. They were literature lovers, peaceful, cultured, respectful.

We went to the “Night of the Proms” event. Super organized, we really enjoyed it.

Very bad traffic management. Stood in a traffic jam for 2 hours for 1.5km. Hall acoustics weren't the best either.

It's actually a nice hall, but the queues at the food stalls clog the paths so much that you can't get through. The chairs in the stands are very uncomfortable. The ticket prices for concerts are very high, so you could expect better. And as always, there are too few toilets for women, so queues form there too. A pay machine in the parking lot was broken. Long queue there too. Actually, you should be better prepared for major events.

Sap Arena Top 5 stars Parking 2 stars will be charged even if there is nothing left available (event December 1, 23) Flat rate parking fee €6. Exit after the event was very lengthy and chaotic. It may have been a coincidence that the second ticket machine didn't work that evening of all days. EC card only, cash is better. Stewardship staff friendly and helpful. Food not used, returning the deposit cups is a game of patience, similar to parking. Charging stations for electric cars... (almost) non-existent. Update November 2024: again only one functioning pay station on P3

The stewards are very friendly and will give you instructions if you don't know your way around. A large concert and sports arena

Super great atmosphere and mood in the sold-out hall. Access by public transport is very good, but also busy. Checkout checks and orientation to the seats are well organized, lots of friendly stewards know the way. It's just a shame that the staff serving drinks and food was overworked...

Unfortunately we were in the top rows. I would never book again. The air is extremely bad at the top and you can hardly see anything. The catering outside was completely overloaded with a sold-out arena. I don't even want to say anything about the high costs here. If we ever go back, it will only be downstairs. And we definitely ate and drank beforehand.

We went to an Adler game and a live concert. The game was good (atmosphere great), the food and drinks were terrible! The shandy was really a disgrace and my son thought the chicken nuggets were very bad. The acoustics at the live concert were terrible! I will avoid going to a live concert there again.

I've never been to the SAP Arena, I only drive past it on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays

The SAP Arena is always great for an Eagles game. Quite a nice show, but the hall is actually too big for that.

Top location for various events

Good event location. Seats a bit uncomfortable. Offers of food and drink very good

Arriving and departing via the normal parking garages is chaotic and takes a lot of time to plan. I don't think the arena view is particularly good for concerts, as the seats on the straight one are not easily turned towards the stage. Furthermore, the speed of the bar leaves a lot to be desired, there are long queues everywhere because the cash is collected and served in slow motion. Getting rid of the deposit cup(s) after the event is like running the gauntlet, and it comes quite unexpectedly. I've experienced something like this much better and faster in other arenas.

Went to the Adler game, organization was top and the staff was very friendly.

Disastrous journey. Normally our journey would take 35 minutes. It took us 3.5 hours and the majority of the time we stood in the last 2km as it was so backed up from the car park. No parking instructions, a complete mess. The way home wasn't any better.

Tickets for Sebastian Fitzek's Thriller Tour, we were really looking forward to the evening, unfortunately it turned out to be a very annoying disaster. We live 25 minutes from the SAP Arena and had planned 2 hours for the journey. Everything went well until we left for Mannheim. 3 hours for 2 km to the arena and then no parking. Went back home annoyed, what a shame, €100 for nothing but stress.

I spent yesterday evening in the VIP lounge and enjoyed a pleasant, relaxing evening. Everything was absolutely perfect. Gladly again!

Fitzek November 21, 2024 First of all: The event itself was simply great! There is a star for that. The SAP Arena in Mannheim is not recommended at all. A sufficient buffer was planned (over 1 hour before entry) and yet we were clearly too late. How one even plans such traffic routing at an event site is a mystery to me. The traffic jam on the way there (2 hours) was also there when we left the parking lot. It took 1 hour to leave the parking lot. No parking folder, just a simple barrier. And the whole thing costs a whopping €6. Not recommended for people who can't walk far. It takes about 15 minutes to walk from the parking lot to the arena. Conclusion: Never again SAP Arena Mannheim.

Event was great! (Sebastian Fitzek), food was great (fire sausage and farfalle carbonara). The seats in block 401 were ok but very uncomfortable. When we went out, only two exits were open, which caused major traffic jams. It's a shame, you could definitely do it differently...

Star doesn't do justice. Worst experience ever Artists should never choose SAP Arena as a venue again because the journey is catastrophic and has been for years. Psychological thriller live good idea from Fitzek. Even if pm parking garage operators are allegedly incompetent

The departure was a disaster. 1 hour traffic jam to get to the parking lot. On the way back the same spectacle. What made it even more difficult was that there was only one parking machine for our parking space, so the queue was so long. A recommendation is to travel by train. P.s. the sound was great

Fitzek November 21, 2024 More than 2 hours of traffic jam to the parking lot, which is then completely overcrowded. We were barely able to see the last 30 minutes of the show. A huge disgrace, the whole thing, we will never go back here.

Arrive on time so that you can get a good parking space near the exit and everything won't be so stressful. When you leave, if you use the A6, you'll be on the motorway in no time.

Really a great venue! Since I live in the area, I have been to the SAP Arena several times. At a concert, at both GNTM finals, cirque de soleil and yesterday at the Fitzek Tour. I've traveled both by car and by public transport and both worked great. If you travel by car, you obviously have to have time and patience. When there was a bomb threat at the GNTM finale many years ago, everything went very professionally and smoothly during the evacuation. It wasn't until I was outside that I realized why we were all being evacuated. A mass panic was avoided and everyone was evacuated safely and quickly. Yesterday on the Fitzek tour I had a personal concern, which was resolved by the super friendly, understanding and helpful staff. I was beyond speechless and touched. Thanks to the staff, I was able to enjoy the evening yesterday. The food selection is good and the prices are not too expensive. There were also plenty of toilets and they were clean. All in all, a great venue that I would love to visit again and again.

Disastrous organization at the Fitzek event! A buffer of 1.5 hours was not enough. Hours of traffic jams, absolute traffic chaos and occupied parking garages. Many visitors were unable to take part in the event and many arrived late, which led to a lot of unrest in the audience. Yes, there was an accident, but that doesn't explain the traffic jams behind the accident or after the event.

Location itself is good. However, the parking situation is hell. There is a separate motorway exit, but there are always traffic jams there until Christmas Day. Although there are regularly large events in the SAP Arena, unfortunately nothing has changed in the parking lot organization over the years. Too bad. The next option would be to travel by train, which is like choosing between plague and cholera...

Once again, shitty organized. It can't be that you have to be there more than 2 hours before the start in order to get to the arena on time. Absolute traffic chaos, unbelievable.

Disastrous journey. Even though you're there more than an hour early, you're just stuck in traffic and don't get to the event on time. We arrived over an hour late and the same chaos on departure. The 50 million euros for the infrastructure could also have been burned.

Worst traffic concept I've ever seen.

Unfortunately, our visit to the SAP Arena was a huge disappointment. We spent over an hour in traffic jams on the last 2 kilometers of the journey. Two parking spaces were full, and although the VIP parking lot still had capacity, it was not opened to us as non-VIP guests. This would have been a sensible way to relieve the enormous traffic jam of hundreds of cars. Since we were on the way to Sebastian Fitzek - The Big Thriller Arena Tour, and the delay would have been well over an hour in the end, we decided to drive back home - also because we were afraid that we would miss essential parts would have missed the event. A sensible traffic concept for such major events is obviously missing here. It would be urgently necessary to reroute traffic for non-visitors to the arena in order to avoid such chaotic conditions. Instead, 4 to 5 rows of vehicles squeezed into 2 lanes, which further aggravated the situation. Conclusion: We had to destroy our four unused cards and ended up throwing our money out the window. Until the organizers develop a practical concept to allow guests a reasonable arrival time, we will avoid the SAP Arena on a large scale. Very disappointing and not recommended.

The arena may be nice, but the parking situation is really bad. 2hrs Already in traffic for the parking lot before VA and still arrived too late. We were able to forget about visiting the VA (it was still 1.4km to walk from the parking lot). Really annoying!!

I can't say anything about the arena itself because we never got there. An hour in traffic to get to the parking lot and still 2km away. The show then began and there was no end in sight. Then they turned around and will never come back! Thanks for nothing

SAP visits for the Eagles game. Everything was great, but the security in the VIP parking spaces was terrible. But SAP can't help it.

Went to the Jung Adler game. Great game. Have won. Stadium is great.

Ice rink without character and charm. The hall's mascot is a hamster. What's that supposed to mean? There was still life in Friedrichpark. You don't want to be buried in the SAP Arena. An hour from the parking garage to the highway is also awesome.

Great arena for professional hockey, handball, concerts, or probably more. There's a ton of seating but is also pretty steep so every seat seems to have a great view. One end (201 section, I believe) is standing room only so be aware of that if you want to sit down during a game.

Watched an exciting game between Adler Mannheim and Ice Tiger Nuremberg. Nice arena and good atmosphere. The arena is modern and clean.

I really like coming because of the good sound and good visibility. Star deduction for worn out folding seats in the front rows and confusing signage.

Went to the Howard Carpendale concert was great 🥰 very well organized everything went great service staff were great very attentive they had it all under control and we're already looking forward to the next time 🫶

It was really great, organized down to the last detail. Staff from security service very nice and adequate. Would go to an event there again at any time. The sales staff were also really good, quick, friendly and humorous. Great company.

A mega location with great gastro. I'd love to come back 👍🙂

I went to a concert at Disney with my daughter. A really great show, the ticket cost €90 which was worth it for the show itself. However, we sat on the sidelines and didn't have a "real" view of the show. The cameraman was often in front of us and you can't see some of the stage technology from the side as much as you can from the front. There was a screen next to us that required a lot of twisting. Nobody does that for two hours. So the card was definitely not worth €90 in terms of space. As always, there weren't enough women's toilets and they were so endless that even security let the women into the men's toilets.

We watched Disney in Concert. From admission, catering to support, everything went smoothly and in a friendly manner. Quick processing. The arena is well organized and well staffed with friendly staff.

We were there for handball. Rhine-Neckar Lions vs. Hanover. The hall is too big for handball. Even with 8,000 spectators there is no real handball atmosphere. But in general there were no negative points, but it wasn't anything special either.

Above all The business area is even duos

Very good venue 👍 - you actually have a good view everywhere and the acoustics at concerts are very good compared to other halls. Even accessibility by car is okay.
