SAP Arena in Mannheim

I was here for the first time, at that time the Ehrlich brothers were here. I have to say it is incredibly big here, we were sitting pretty high up, if you are not careful you are back down quicker than you are at the top😉found it quite steep🙈

I was with the volleyball fans from DSC in the SAP Arena, a really great atmosphere and a great selection of food and drinks during the event.

Easily accessible. Large hall with appropriate logistics. Sufficient food and drinks. Only at the entrance do the individual checks take a long time. Please note that there are restrictions on what you can take into the SAP Arena (as is the case everywhere).

There is always a great atmosphere here. The entrances are large and easy to find. Various sports and events ensure a varied program.

Can highly recommend the P2. Right at the entrance and short distances. And even better is the VIP parking lot, €15, and right next to the arena.

I was at the Manowar concert. Parking was available and cost €6 for the event. My seat was great, but the acoustics left something to be desired.

Finding a parking space is a bit difficult at first, but there are still enough parking spaces available. The many steps in the arena ensure plenty of exercise during breaks. The security staff is very friendly and accommodating. Overall a great experience! Everyone is recommended to attend events in the arena. It will definitely be worth it! :)

Attending a concert at SAP Arena is great, especially because of the stadium. The backdrop is perfect for such events. Andrea Berg made the stadium shake! The only drawback was the unfriendly security guards. We wanted to go to the VIP area for five minutes to get a photo with Andrea, but we weren't given this opportunity.

Was in the SAP Arena for the first time at the Ludovico Einaudi concert. I'm more than impressed by the friendly staff and the restaurant offers a well-stocked, solid selection of drinks. The acoustics can also only be recommended. Kind regards and see you soon at the next event☺️☘️

Great location for sports and concerts

Good hall for ball sports events and ice hockey. Concerts are also quite good here. The ventilation is a little difficult, but it's okay. You have to be patient, especially when leaving the parking lots and houses. But it's okay.

Concert Manowar was really great. But the security there sucks! We were right at the front and adhered to the ban on taking photos ourselves. The first and second rows diligently filmed and took photos in front of security. Photos were also taken behind us - the security guard kept shining his flashlight and blinding us instead of getting the person responsible for it out! And even when we wanted to take a commemorative selfie long after the show had ended, we were prevented from doing so by another gorilla who stood so close in front of us that he was almost standing on our feet and threatening us at the same time. Sorry guys - photos and videos are forbidden during the show - that's ok! But given the ticket prices, you'll probably be able to take a souvenir selfie in the hall before or after the concert, right? A huge group of "precious fans" set up in front of the stage immediately after the concert and took pictures - that wasn't a problem! But as a couple you get in trouble for that? Funny way security treats different visitors. It's a shame - but I don't need SAP Arena anymore...

Spectacular facilities and huge parking. I've been to the Manowar concert. The acoustics are very good.

Everything was really well organized. However, better signage would have been beneficial... We had to walk to the top and then back down to the merchandise. MA very friendly and helpful

We attended Einaudi concert. We had a very good view of the stage. Unfortunately the seats (made of metal) were very hard and uncomfortable. There are enough parking spaces available.

Best ice hockey stadium in Germany

Absolutely underground traffic. A pure disaster. Two weeks ago we missed 45 minutes of the event despite a very generously planned travel time. Yesterday we were there again and went there in the afternoon and passed the time in the city center using public transport. If we hadn't done it that way, it might have happened to us again, because a lot of visitors still came at the planned start of the event and within the hour afterwards. This prevents us from attending an event there again.

This traffic management at a major event is extremely bad. There were difficulties before the event and you were almost late even though you left early enough. I don't even want to talk about after the event.

Arriving by car was an absolute disaster: it took us 1 hour and 45 minutes for the last 3 km from the motorway exit to the SAP Arena because the parking instructions/drainage to the parking spaces didn't work at all. So we arrived at Carolin Kebekus 1 hour late. That was extremely frustrating. The problem is well known and apparently accepted as such. We were there last time.

Was here for the Ehrlich Brothers presentation. Great infrastructure, great parking and an excellent arena.

Very nice ice hockey arena. The atmosphere at home games is also great. I always enjoy going there...

We were at the Kebekus. The journey and the way there was good but the signage on site was not well signposted. Then those at the eating and drinking counters would be really stupid because the masses were so concentrated there. During the break, several employees "ran away" because the labor law is 10 p.m. and they are under 18 years old. That's right, but of course they were missing when it came to dealing with customers. If a visit then only by train.

We were at the Arena during André Rieu's concert. The concert was great! The Arena is the perfect venue for concerts and sports events. It is easily accessible by public transport - train, tram, bus.

No information about restrictions at the entrance. Bags, drinks, etc. are randomly refused. There is no standard as to which sizes or materials are permitted. The "storage service" is a container next to the arena with a €2 fee and no insurance or security. In addition, the idea of ​​“Lost & Found” for what has been lost is completely unknown. Employees at the entrance are retrained to answer questions and are overwhelmed when dealing with visitors.

Parking is quite cheap and the prices for food and drinks are acceptable, although not cheap.

Some things could be better organized. You only find out about a lot of things by chance, instead of being signposted or folders proactively pointing things out.

The good reviews are incomprehensible to me. The seats in the stands are tight and those on the upper arm are even tighter. The paths and corridors on the individual levels are actually too narrow. Especially after the event ends when everyone wants to hand over their cups and get out. The fact that exits are blocked and you have to walk from entrance C back to B is also questionable for me in terms of fire safety. Unfortunately, I don't like going there anymore and I'm always annoyed. Compared to other halls, the acoustics are a bit of a disaster and the transport connections are simply poor. Especially if you want to get out and go home relatively quickly. However, I think the range of food and drinks on offer is good.

If you are a handball fan you should visit this venue. Top hall with good transport connections.

We went to a comedy show by Caroline Kebekus. The show was great. Everything in the building was extremely well organized. The prices for drinks and food are completely excessive. But what almost ruined the evening is that the traffic on arrival and departure is an absolute disaster. It took us about 30 to 45 minutes for the first and last 800 m.

Uwe's farewell game. 5 stars for the arena. Minus 5 stars for the chaos in the parking spaces. How can you invent such a lousy traffic light switch?

If a show is well attended, you'll be stuck in traffic for an hour before you can park. And out too, of course. And then the queues at the ticket offices because you can't pay for the tickets digitally. And the queues at the toilets because there are too few.

Great hall, very well organized and you feel very safe. Getting there and getting away could be better organized and always allow enough time.

This traffic management and system at major events is so bad. We and several thousand other people have been standing 2km in front of the arena for 1.5 hours. There is no chance of getting through the traffic lights down in front of the parking spaces. It's problematic if you miss the event - despite generously planned travel times. Can something be changed here? Parking attendants? Label about the number of parking spaces? Adjust traffic light switching? Really weak for 2025! Entire evening is ruined.

We, my wife and I, went to 'Let's Dance' in the SAP Arena on November 5th, 2024. The tens of thousands of visitors were well accommodated. The hall was able to cope well with the flow of visitors. In my opinion, the visibility was good from everywhere. The acoustics could have been a little better, but that was probably due to the technology. The show itself was great. Just arriving and departing by car is always a challenge. You have to take waiting times into account.

Stairs to the seats have no handrails and cannot be accessed by people with limited mobility without assistance.

Art of German engineers. Especially in times like these, places like the SAP Arena make me look with appreciation for the good that Germany can produce. Despite the 12,599 other spectators who were at the ice hockey game with us, I never had the feeling that we were standing on each other's feet or that it was too tight. The multifunctional approach of the hall is also excellent. The multimedia show and the atmosphere are a pure joy. Then to everyone who makes something like this possible.

The transport connections are an absolute disaster. Anyone who can should travel by public transport. I stood in a traffic jam with my disabled mother for a good two hours trying to get into the disabled parking space. The parking spaces were extremely overcrowded and the traffic was a disaster.
