The sushi is delicious and comes in individual portions (as part of the all-you-can-eat menu). We would have liked a wider selection of tempura. The wait times per round are a bit longer than I'm used to. However, I really like the self-service and selection of desserts!

A fantastic restaurant, worth coming all the way from Lower Saxony for!

The sushi is excellent for the relatively low price. The lunch menu is available Monday through Friday for around €19, offering an all-you-can-eat meal. Orders are placed at the table via tablet, and the food is brought to your table by the waiter. The selection ranges from all kinds of sushi to various meat dishes and small desserts. The atmosphere is quiet, as the otherwise large restaurant is usually only 15 percent full on weekdays. Only when it's full can the food take longer. If you want delicious all-you-can-eat food, this is the place to go.

All-you-can-eat is great. Huge selection and truly delicious. There's something for everyone...even those who aren't sushi fans 😉

The ambiance is okay, but the atmosphere didn't really give us the feeling we were sitting in an Asian restaurant. It was still cozy, though. The service was friendly and really fast. You order via a tablet and never have to wait long for your food. The food is the restaurant's biggest plus: We tried almost everything on the menu, and every dish was either delicious or even exceptionally good. We will definitely visit the restaurant again on our next visit to Wuppertal.

We went to a buffet/dinner at Kakkoii Sushi today. Pros++ Very tasty sushi Very friendly staff Very extensive selection of different dishes Parking available right in front of the door Cons-- Grilled meat is rather random. The beef was good, the lamb chops were very dry and tough, which is a shame given the meat. The spare ribs are very dry and practically inedible. The edges and corners of some plates are clearly broken, which makes the otherwise good food seem unappealing and unpleasant. For me, this was a reason not to tip, as the staff should have noticed. I would rate the price-performance ratio as neutral. There were four of us there and we paid over €140 for the dinner buffet four times and five times for drinks, which is more or less acceptable. I can recommend Kakkoii Sushi and hope that the listed deficiencies will be remedied soon.

After a long wait, I finally had the chance to try the restaurant. The ambience was very disappointing, incredibly kitschy and loud. The service was very attentive and friendly. You order from a tray, which is common practice by now, but you don't get any information about the individual dishes. The sushi is roughly rolled up, the maki are too big and unfortunately, you can tell that many of the products were prepared a long time in advance. The hot dishes arrived really hot but the taste was completely average. Dessert included self-service ice cream - how can you have bad ice cream? I also think the €30 is too expensive. Unfortunately, I wasn't impressed and I can't recommend the place to anyone; there are much tastier restaurants for that money.

Unfortunately, I only had three sushi dishes for lunch, and they weren't good. The competition certainly has more to offer. Sure, the price is different, but I'm willing to pay that in the future. Once, and unfortunately, never again.

We eat there once a month. We're always satisfied; everyone is friendly and everything is delicious. The only thing they could improve would be to offer more fruit and dessert, as the selection is very limited.

A familiar concept (all-you-can-eat with ordering via a tablet), but exceptional presentation! The plates weren't carelessly thrown onto the table as one walks by, as happens in other poorly organized restaurants. Here, the food was very attractively presented (see photo), and the service was super friendly and fast. The restaurant and restrooms are nicely decorated and clean, and there's easy street parking. I don't know who can actually manage 10 rounds of ordering, but our stomachs were full after 4! Cakes, fruit, and ice cream are also freely available at the counter. The food was consistently of very good quality, the amount of rice in the sushi was perfect, it wasn't cheap, and the price was unbeatable!!! We'll be back!!!

We ordered online for the first time. The food arrived quickly and hot. Everything was made with fresh ingredients: meat, fish, spring rolls, fried noodles with vegetables, and baked banana. The entire meal, without exception, was delicious, a taste experience. Very good value for money. The proportions were just right. We will definitely enjoy this in-person soon.

Omg! I love this place! The sushi is especially delicious. You can order several small tapas on a tablet or simply eat à la carte, depending on your preference. The ice cream is included in the lunch and dinner buffet and consists of more than six flavors. It's so delicious! Of course, there are other things to eat besides sushi, too. The atmosphere is good. The place is spacious. On weekends, you can actually get a table at short notice. There are good bus connections in all directions (I take public transport myself), and there's plenty of parking. Otherwise, I can't complain. The staff is friendly, too.

The restaurant is something "different" for a change. Everything is ordered by tray – within a time slot, you can order a certain number of courses, including a certain number of tapas-like dishes. The selection is extensive, and everything tasted great. You can see on the tray how much you've already eaten, how much you can still order, and how much time is left. Everything is brought to you, except for the ice cream and some of the dessert. We loved it and will be back.

So, I'd say it's the best place in Wuppertal when it comes to sushi and all-you-can-eat. No one bothers you, you have peace and quiet; you order, and it arrives quickly and hot. The food tastes really delicious, really top-notch. The service is wonderful, so anyone who's been here before can confirm that it's really nice here. The waiters also know what's on the menu and will help you if you have a question. So, I'd say it's the best all-you-can-eat in Wuppertal, 100%.

We were there at lunchtime, very tasty. The price is acceptable, a little more variety of sushi with fish in the daytime menu and it would be super. Two and a half hours with your head to eat your fill and sit and chat, and not stuff yourself with food.

We really liked the food, almost everything we ordered (and we managed to try a lot) was delicious. The kids especially liked the sweet potato and chicken rolls. Unobtrusive service, pleasant waiters, the dishes were served almost instantly. Of the drinks, we only tried banana beer, we also liked it. We were surprised by such a small number of visitors, I think that the price of lunch is more than justified. By the way, you are given 2.5 hours for lunch, in some similar restaurants it is significantly less. Desserts are not as good as expected, but ice cream (there are about 9 flavors) and fruits are delicious

Today was our first time at Kakkoii and we were more than satisfied! The food was delicious and freshly prepared, whether it was sushi or other hot and cold dishes. We didn't have to wait long for the food, even at 6 p.m. on a Sunday evening. The staff was super friendly and immediately available to answer any questions. We'll definitely be back, as the value for money is really great!

Although the lunch buffet is cheap, it is not very cost-effective. There are very few choices. The evening buffet is more cost-effective. And even though it is a buffet, there are still restrictions. The service is okay, it's a Chinese-owned restaurant. The store is quite big, with a lot of seats, nice background music, nice decoration, and bathrooms. iPad ordering is also quite advanced in Germany, and you can pay by credit card.

For me, who just loves eating salmon nigiri, the shop is perfect. High praise: the rice for the sushi is perfectly seasoned and has a real flavor of its own and the piece of salmon on the nigiri is not small but a decent piece, just as it should be.

We went to the all you can eat weekend with friends. The food was super tasty and ordering with the tablet was very convenient. One point is deducted due to the quality of the fruit for dessert. This didn't seem very fresh to me anymore.

Great location with a beautiful outdoor area – I immediately liked it. The selection of sushi is really large, as is the seafood. The taste is really 10/10! Everything was delicious - I found that particularly special, because often not everything is equally good at buffets, but here every dish was really great. Also interesting: There were some things that you don't necessarily know - for example octopus salad, which tasted really good. The team was also very nice and attentive. I have to say: the visit was definitely worth it! We came all the way from Bochum – and it was absolutely worth it.

The atmosphere is friendly and modern. The staff is particularly friendly and accommodating. You feel in good hands. The sushi is of high quality, only the tuna makis tasted strangely like onions. Otherwise everything was great 👍🏽😁 The concept is like Okinii and works smoothly. Toilets were also clean. You definitely can't go wrong here.

We come here quite regularly. Sometimes I'm alone, too. I feel very well looked after here. The food is always delicious, arrives quickly, the cold drinks are fresh and sparkling, and empty plates disappear in no time. Since the change of ownership, the menu has been updated; the sushi is now available in smaller portions, which I personally think is great, allowing for more variety. Cakes, desserts, and fruit are now in a self-service refrigerator. You can also get ice cream yourself. The staff is very friendly, and the owner and his wife work diligently. The restrooms are very clean, and there are paper towels and soap provided. You can pay by card. I think the prices are absolutely reasonable. There are several parking spaces right next to the restaurant, and there are plenty of parking nearby. It's also easy to reach by bus. All in all, I really like Kakkoii.

Best all u can eat sushi. Was only there before/noon and the price performance was absolutely convincing. The sushi is in no way inferior to “normal” sushi shops and only costs a fraction. The rest of the dishes aren't bad either, we just weren't so impressed with the fried chicken. This is better at the Okinii in Düsseldorf, for example, but that's the only place where the Okinii even comes close to this all u can eat.

As a Chinese native whose parents once had a restaurant themselves, I can only recommend Kakkoii Sushi Wuppertal! Super friendly waiters and great food for a reasonable price. No Asian restaurant in Wtal comes close to this one in terms of value for money (believe me... I've tried it often enough). One can also praise the fact that the restaurant is quite easy to reach, even if you take public transport (only 10 minutes by bus from the main train station). Keep it up Kakkoii!!!❤️

Unfortunately an absolute disappointment! The food arrives cold, no matter what you order. With all-you-can-eat, you wait an average of over 50 minutes for your food - and then you often don't even get everything you ordered. The waiting times are simply too long, and when the food finally comes, it is either cold or of poor quality. Absolutely not recommended!

We always like to come. The food is good, the service is great, and the atmosphere is pleasant. The buffet is a bit expensive and all drinks cost extra, but you can still have a great and relaxing evening as a group.

It was a decent dining experience. Although there is a lot of people in the restaurant, it wasn't loud at all and we have enough personal space for each table. The food is adequate, The sushi is a bit more diverse than what you can expect in a sushi all-you-can-eat restaurant. I personally enjoy the yaki(s), miso, ice cream and salat. A note is, the sashimi aren't included in the buffet menu. The orders for these will come with a price in the tablet.

You can choose between ala card or all u can eat, although the drinks have to be paid extra and in my opinion are quite expensive (apple juice spritzer €5.00, etc...).

A sushi restaurant like you know with tablet ordering. The decor is modern but a bit cool. The service is quick and very friendly. The selection of dishes is somewhat atypical and quite small - especially the warm dishes. Overall, sushi is not very sophisticated, even if it is served in a pretty boat. There are better alternatives for the same money. There will be no further visits for me. There are some parking spaces in front of the door. Children's high chairs are also available.

We actually wanted to take advantage of the all you can eat offer in the evening and try out this restaurant because we eat sushi very often and have already visited a few restaurants. After the first 3 dishes, it was unfortunately clear to us that it didn't suit our taste at all (fried vegetables were soggy, the taste of the sauce was unfortunately not definable for me and the chicken didn't taste like it). We paid for our meals individually and finished eating after a few minutes. I also told the waitress that we wanted to leave because we didn't like it. Unfortunately, they didn't even ask what the problem was or anything else, and they didn't say goodbye. To me that shows that you don't care. The food was absolutely overpriced, I have never paid such a high price for 3 little things. Unfortunately, I wouldn't have expected it, as the reviews and photos gave us a positive impression, which unfortunately wasn't fulfilled. There are parking spaces right in front of the house, which is positive and the restaurant makes a clean and well-kept impression.

The first time exactly a year ago the food was perfectly fresh, tasty and with a natural taste. We were so convinced that we wanted to experience this taste experience again. You order via a tablet and not everything you ordered arrived and the waitress sometimes "peppered" the plates onto the table.

This was our second time here and we love it. The ambience is nice; it is small and quiet and very cozy. You have peace and quiet here. And the system is just great. You sit at the table and order via tablet. And the “all you can eat” option is simply great. The food tastes so good that you don't want to stop and keep ordering more. We'll definitely be back. ☺️

Been there many times. Delicious

The best all you can eat / tablet sushi restaurant we have ever visited. The quality of the sushi is definitely comparable to much more expensive a la carte restaurants. The selection is also large and varied. What struck us particularly positively was that you are not limited to 5 items per round every 10-15 minutes, as is usual, and they all arrive at different times. Here it is possible to order up to 20 items per person per round, but the next round can then be started immediately without waiting. In addition, all sushi orders come to the table collected and visually appealing in a small wooden ship. We can't give much information about the grilled dishes because we focused almost exclusively on the sushi. As some have mentioned - yes, there are dishes that cost additional money, but with sushi this is only the case with the gunkan that is also wrapped in fish - and 50 cents is also appropriate there. Sashimi costs €5, which is also common in such places and is justified given the quality.

Update August 30, 2024: Were there again today because the store has a different name now. We were seated at the table, then there were problems with the tablet and after 15 minutes food was brought to the table even though we hadn't even ordered yet. We pointed out to the waitress that we didn't have a tablet. Since the waitress only responded with an “ahh, no tablet,” we decided to leave the store. There were probably just problems at other tables too. Many tables were full of dishes. 4 years ago Sanmu: Was there on a Saturday for dinner with 4 people: The staff was extremely overwhelmed with the orders. Many things didn't arrive at all, no matter how many times you ordered them (takoyaki and rainbow rolls), when asked we were told to just keep trying... In addition, things that we hadn't ordered just arrived and you had to look at the tablet every time checked whether we really didn't order it and then discussed that it looked like that on the note. They even made mistakes with the drinks. The only positive thing was the quality of the salmon shashimi. Eating there just spoils your mood...

Friday evening: Some of what I ordered wasn't received, some were cold. Other tables were not cleared and were full of rubbish all evening.

The food is really excellent. The staff is very friendly. But what doesn't work at all are the prices. You pay a considerable price for food and drinks, and then there are additional costs for many dishes. We were guests with 4 people and paid almost €200. I think that with this price development it won't be long before the next restaurant closes due to a lack of customers. Actually, it's a shame.

Enrichment for Wuppertal. Simply good food and relatively inexpensive, for me one of the best sushi shops in the area.

Unfortunately not recommended. There were three of us in the restaurant yesterday (Sunday evening - about a third full). Unfortunately there were many negative points: Negative: • Additional payment: For some dishes such as sashimi and certain rolls you had to pay extra. This is not communicated in advance on the homepage. Since I really like sashimi, I didn't think an additional charge of 5 euros per portion was acceptable for an all-you-can-eat price of €30.90. • Waiting: After 35 minutes, not all of the dishes from the first round had been served. Everything was only on the table after 45 minutes. We were already pretty full due to the long wait, so we only managed two rounds (+ 1 mochi). In total, after about 12 "parts" (sometimes 1 part = 1 nigiri), it was over for me due to the wait and the feeling of satiety. It has been said that the kitchen is understaffed, but at €30.90 you can expect not to have to wait forever and get more rounds done. In general, I found it more of a stalling tactic to get full quicker, drink more and therefore eat less. Positive: • Dog was allowed to come along • Food was OK Overall, I cannot recommend KAKKOII due to the negative points, as they really bothered me and I personally know completely different and much better experiences from Leverkusen and Cologne (often cheaper). Maybe we had a bad day, but I personally won't go again. PS: The photo was taken before the second part of the first round was served. At this point, a lot of time had already passed and everything was still not on the table.

Food was very good At 9:20 p.m. the waitress had already picked up plates and pointed out to us that we still had a lot on the table and that we would have to pay extra for it. I actually didn't know that the restaurant was open until 10 p.m. but I still find this customer service and the way she spoke to us very bad. I had the feeling that the attitude towards the customer is: pay and leave. The food was delicious but I don't know if that would be enough to visit this restaurant again. There are many other places where you feel welcome and can eat well.

We had buffet food. Everything was provided to us as requested. Super tasty, I can only recommend it to everyone. 👌 I'm on vacation and I'm convinced that the trip there is worth it.

Addendum 2nd visit: Unfortunately we weren't so happy this time. Some of the sushi was too warm and the service seemed totally annoyed (even though it had just opened). We think it's good that people here are 'against waste'. But then you shouldn't penalize guests with €5 because they take 5 leftover sushi home with them... Sends the wrong message. We are completely satisfied! The restaurant is beautifully decorated, the service is super nice and fast. The sushi plate also came pretty quickly. The food was without exception very tasty and fresh. Price-performance is also right. Our visit was an 'emergency solution' - good thing our original plan didn't happen. We'd love to come back! :-)

A great discovery this restaurant. Fresh sushi, super tasty. You order on an iPad! It's a hygienic All You Can Eat concept because you then get the plates to the table. The food comes quickly and is beautifully prepared. Quiet music is playing in the background.
