Super delicious food, friendly staff... I can only recommend it

Food was good and plentiful 😋. But the soup was a bit bland and could use a little more flavor.

We go there at 2:00 pm , ya ya I know they closed at 2:30 But German people are sitting there and eating I thing they finish there meal in 1 hour But we are from India and Hotal staff is also desi like us And they said no They can’t serve us Sit If any English person come there they don’t dare to speak like that they just ……, what would I say If I write it not good I thing my money and local people money is same

the service is pathetic. The waiter told us that if there are five of you, you should order 150-200 euros. We weren't hungry so we ordered two dishes and five drinks. We were treated very badly and were only served food after 45 minutes. When we left the restaurant, the waiter also showed us the other table's bill, which was worth 150 euros. It's so sad that this restaurant doesn't know what customer service is.

Food was good as always, but lunch prices have become a bit expensive and there could be a larger vegetarian selection on the lunch menu.

One of my favorite restaurants when I want to eat Indian food. The staff and boss are very friendly. Meanwhile, there is always a reason for a longer conversation, but they are never intrusive. The food is absolutely recommended and very authentic. The portions are generous and there are lunch menus to suit every taste. I always enjoy going there. Update I've been there for lunch several times now and it's been perfect every time. The boss already knows us and doesn't miss the chance to greet and say goodbye to us personally. This is Sangam Style!

Pre-ordering online didn't work reliably, but a follow-up call to the restaurant clarified everything. The service is very good and the staff are very friendly. The food was really delicious and the price-performance ratio was good. It's very nice to sit and I didn't find the tables to be too close together.

We visit the Sangam restaurant regularly as we don't know of any comparable Indian restaurant. The sauces are very tasty and always made with fresh ingredients and the service is also very courteous! Only recommended! (By the way, we were given a glass of tap water when we asked!)

Outstanding food! I had the Vindaloo and asked for it to be spicy as that’s something I tend to miss in Germany. They knocked it out of the park. It was spicke but the spiced didn’t overpower the flavor at all. The naan and rice were perfect as well. We got a mixed tandoori plate as well and every piece was cooked nicely and flavorful.

The best Indian food in Augsburg, in my opinion. Everything tastes excellent. We've been going there for dinner for years. If you want to eat here, you should definitely make a reservation in good time and even with a reservation it can sometimes take a very, very long time, especially on weekends. The tables are usually fully booked, even though there are already more tables than in other restaurants. Overall I can only give it 5 stars, the food is just too good! There has always been a dedicated page with vegetarian dishes, but recently there has been a separate page with vegan dishes. 👍

Das Restaurant ist sehr schön und gemütlich und großzügig. Der Service war sehr gut. Preis-Leistungsverhältnis auch sehr gut das Essen hat uns aber überhaupt nicht geschmeckt. Malai Kofta und auch Chicken Tandoori waren beide sehr fade und merkwürdig.

We waited 45 minutes for the food. When we call, the food is on the way. When we call again after another 30 minutes, the meal has been canceled by Lieferando, which I can't believe. So we starved the whole evening.

This restaurant was busy on a Monday night. That says a great deal about it. The staff were very friendly and efficient. The Butter Chicken was really delicious and the breads were especially nice. Happy giving this restaurant 5 stars.

Unfortunately, I ate something bad in this restaurant this weekend and was in the hospital after 2 hours with food poisoning. Mind you, yes it was the dish and no I don't have any intolerances. I've been coming to this restaurant regularly for a year and have never been disappointed. Unfortunately we won't be going to this restaurant again.

Unfortunately it's not the same anymore. Today we ate at Sangam for the first time in 3 years and what can I say… it was very disappointing. Points go mainly to the food. As always, the food tasted very good. However, the service was disastrous. The service is not particularly friendly and you no longer feel welcome here. Furthermore, you used to be able to order any rice you wanted, but this now costs €3.80. I can understand that it has to cost a bit due to inflation, but the amount of rice you get was a disgrace.

Hello Chefs at Sangam, please render some Indian food. I did not feel Indian with these foods. Sangam needs to rework on the taste and quality of food. All the food I tasted looked Indian but did not taste Indian.

A good Indian restaurant in Augsburg with many menus. The food is also delicious and offers many vegetarian options. Centrally located in Augsburg's old town. At lunchtime the food is cheaper and the restaurant is obviously full. From Monday to Friday there is a cheaper lunch price. The staff are friendly and serve the food in a short time.

Recommended lunch - delicious food.

It was my favorite Indian, unfortunately something went wrong last time. We made a reservation, were given a place, but after an hour we were more or less pressured to pay immediately because the next guests were probably already there. I usually always like the tikka masala here, it was so salty that it was almost impossible to eat. For the reasons mentioned, I had to deduct a few points from the rating and only recommend it to a limited extent. The garlic naan bread is recommended, the waiting time was also very short

Delicious, they always deliver! Super friendly staff and very cozy place. I recommend the chana masala which is fabulous and the naan bread which accompanies it perfectly (the garlic naan my favourite)

The restaurant officially closes at 2:30 p.m. We had already paid and at 2:36 p.m. we wanted packaging for the remaining naan bread that we had already paid for so that it wouldn't be thrown away. The waiter pointed out the opening hours to us in an extremely unfriendly manner and we should just leave the bread there. This has nothing to do with hospitality.

Man sitzt ein bisschen eng, allerdings schmeckt das Essen hervorragend und die Preis Leistung ist gut! Es gibt auch eine Mittagskarte!

Schnelles und richtig leckeres indisches Essen. Zur Mittagspause perfekte Wahl, da das Mittagsmenü echt günstig ist und die Küche schnell ist.

Unfassbar Lecker!! Egal ob vor Ort oder geliefert, das Essen ist jedes mal fantastisch. Mehr gibt es nicht zu sagen. Mehr als empfehlenswert.

Die Dips für die Vorspeise schmeckten irgendwie wässrig-als wären sie verdünnt gewesen? Das Nan Brot war sehr lecker. Die Hauptgerichte waren okay. Schade war allerdings, dass die Gerichte am Tisch nicht warm gehalten wurden. Diese Serviceleistungen erlebten wir bisher bei jedem anderen Inder in Augsburg. Servicepersonal wirkte eher gelangweilt. Als der Reis alle war dauerte es ewig, bis nachgefüllt wurde und zwischenzeitlich wurde dann auch das Essen kalt. Preis war okay. Für ein vegetarisches Gericht inkl Getränk 16€. Kommen trotzdem nicht wieder.

We were able to sit down after the pouring rain and enjoyed some delicious food. It was very crowded, which sadly resulted in a very loud chatter all around me. It was kinda hard to talk or understand anything :( My partner always chooses this restaurant because "it has the best mango chicken in augsburg". The waiter got my drink wrong two times sadly, but I ended up getting a correct one. :)

Essen war sehr lecker. Das Personal war auch sehr freundlich. Ein paar Bestellungen sind untergegangen und wurden dann nach Nachfrage aber sofort gebracht, lag aber sicherlich daran dass wir eine recht große Gruppe waren.

Preisleistung stimmen zu 100% - Personal sehr freundlich und man geht auf „Sonderwünsche“ ein - auf Grund der räumlichen Nähe zu den Nachbartischen leider etwas laut, trotzdem für uns der beste Inder in Augsburg und Umgebung.

Tolles Essen. Schnelle und sehr freundlich Bedienung. Mittagstisch mit 8 Personen wurde freundlich und schnell bedient. Essen kam gleichzeitig und das Essen war HAMMER. WIR KOMMEN WIEDER.

Sehr gutes, klassisches indisches Essen. Traditionelles Ambiente und sehr viel Auswahl auch an vegetarischen und sogar veganen Gerichten. Das Essen hat hausgemacht geschmeckt und war gut gewürzt. Alles in allem sehr gutes Essen zu fairen Preisen. Auf jeden Fall einen Besuch wert ⭐️

Schönes Ambiente, nettes Personal und eine große Auswahl an Gerichten. Obwohl es gut besucht war, mussten wir nicht lange auf unsere Bestellungen warten. Alles war sehr lecker und wir waren sehr zufrieden. Was nicht geschafft wurde, wurde eingepackt und mit nach Hause genommen. 🙂 Der nächste Besuch ist bereits geplant.

Very disappointed with the added colours to dishes such as chilli paneer. It might make the food look attractive but definitely not healthy. Hoped that the person taking the orders was at least honest in saying it’s food colour instead of blatantly claiming it’s the chilli powder that aided to the colour. People expect better quality food and service from such a highly-rated restaurant. Other than these, the place is kept tidy and clean.

Но когда в городе нечего поесть, здесь всегда можно это сделать без проблем. Адекватные цены. С радостью вернёмся снова. Проблема с парковкой.

Das war die beste Erfahrung die ich bisher in einem indischen Restaurant in Augsburg hatte. Der Service war sehr nett, schnell und unterhaltsam. Die Außenterasse ist sehr schön eingerichtet und hat mir persönlich sehr gut gefallen. Das Essen war wirklich unglaublich! Das Achari Chicken Tikka und die verschiedenen Naan Sorten kann ich wirklich nur empfehlen. Die Soßen waren ebenfalls sehr lecker und für solche Portionen ist der Preis wirklich fair! Hier werde ich auf jeden Fall wiederkommen.

The food especially the curries are horrible. Sad, German restaurants make better dal( lentils suppe) than what they make here as Indian. Please get yourself checked here and for god sake use at least Indian lentils.

Esse bei Sangam seit über 10 Jahren. das sagt glaube ich alles. Bestes paneer butter masala das ich je gegessen habe. Ich esse auch immer nur das, weil es einfach nichts besseres gibt 😅

The food was so disappointing, in comparison to how great the reviews of this restaurant are. The gravy was undercooked and had a raw taste. Additionally there was parsley in it, whereas Indian food traditionally has coriander and parsley tasted too overpowering. I would definitely expect a better experience from such a renowned restaurant.

I dined at Sangam Augsburg, an Indian specialization restaurant. The Haryali Malai Kabab I ordered was delicious, but my friend’s curry was only average in taste. The service was okay-ish, nothing exceptional. The butter naan was good, but the regular naan didn’t impress me.

Mit Abstand das leckerste indische Essen in Augsburg. Absolute Spitzenklasse. Und sehr nettes traditionelles Ambiente und zuvorkommende Bedienung. Das Essen kommt auch schnell. Unbedingt mal das Jheenga Masala mit Garlic Naan probieren.

Ich habe die Gerichte Butter Chicken und Lamb Vindaloo zum Mitnehmen bestellt. Beides hat super geschmeckt und wir haben noch eine Portion Reis extra aufs Haus bekommen. 5 Sterne in allen Kategorien.

Very average indian restaurant in terms of food taste (vegetarian dishes, butter chicken and tandoori chicken) and below average service. Decoration is typical and nice. It took 30min to get the order on a busy saturday evening. The food came rather fast but the service lacks attention (forgot the water ordered, forgot the doggy bag at the end) and is hardly polite. By far not the best in Augsburg (and highly overrated) when it comes to authentic north indian food (my husband is indian so we know north indian food very well)

This restaurant has a great ambience. Ample space to accommodate many people. It's exactly located in the city center in a small beautiful Gasse. The restaurant people welcomes you with a warm smile on their face. The food is excellent and the quantity was good enough. Keep it up.

We went there on a normal working day along with kids for dinner, we were welcomed by a person and straight away said no place without reservation, even for courtesy sake, he didn't even ask whether I have reservations or not. There were at least 10 tables free and he couldn't accept us. Not only here, I think In general Indians are not welcomed in Indian restaurants. Kids were so tired and we had to walk for atleast 1.5 Kms to get into another restaurant in cold weather . Will never visit such places again, not worth. The response from the restaurant can be seen below. Without even knowing the fact, such a rude response, we were only 5, 3 kids and 2 adults, and that's totally fine restaurant policy, please do mention that very clearly in your advertisement as well, so that people can save their precious time, after 09.30 I don't think there would be so much people visiting and definitely 10 tables were free and they can't afford 1 table. People in the Business should know how to treat their guests, and this is the first in last 20 years in a restaurant receiving such response.

Worst Indian food I’ve ever had. I ordered an appetizer that looked like it came out of the microwave and the vindaloo I ordered tasted so salty it was inedible. When they brought it back it was just not good at all. It had no spice or kick to it and just did not have good flavor. It was so disappointing I ate it because I’m on vacation and it was the only meal I ate today. I was looking forward to it all day and it was just really bad. I seriously would not recommend this place. I just don’t think people who give this place positive reviews have tried real Indian food before. Because this place just does not have good food.
