A hidden gem, we almost walked past this place. Fantastic food, great service and great ambience. Well worth a visit.

It has nothing to do with good food. Chili chicken was just a bit of fried chicken with a cheap sweet and sour sauce. Nothing that tasty.

We have visited many Indian restaurants and decided to give this one a go for a birthday celebration. We all love Indian cuisine and were looking forward to the food after reading the reviews...it was a huge disappointment! Most of the dishes could almost have been mixed up with an Italian restaurant as the sauces of the tomato based curries were just that, more tomato than anything else. The Atmosphere and decor was lovely, service was a bit slow in waiting for someone to come over to our table. It's a pity about the food. Maybe it was an off night...

I tried them recently and was happy with the food. Its a fantastic find on Lieferando. It's rare to get the authentic taste of vegetarian Indian food right here in Germany, but this place does it beautifully. I was especially impressed by how fresh everything was, even when I placed my order late at night around 9:30 p.m.

The food was okay, but nothing special. Portions were rather small—the rice was barely enough for two adults. Overall, the value for money was just okay. Unfortunately, the service was disappointing: The waiter seemed unfriendly and rushed, rushed us to order, and left us waiting for a long time after we asked for a little more time without paying any attention. We also had to wait forever to pay until we finally went to the cashier ourselves. This significantly spoiled the overall impression.

We ordered Paneer, bhindi, daal makhani, butter chicken, and Lamb curry. Lamb curry and Bhindi were very disappointing. We received lamb meat dipped in tomato puree. Dal makhani and Paneer met our expectations.

I ordered food here, and instead of the vegetarian dish I ordered (which was also on the bill), I received a meat dish. That's completely unacceptable, in my opinion.

The food was good, although the portions were a bit small. The wait time was relatively long, about 20 minutes for ordering and 45 minutes after ordering. It felt like delivery services were given preferential treatment.

Very disappointing – not recommended! We had reserved a table for two people for 6:00 PM today. Due to traffic, we called ahead of time and said we'd be about 10-15 minutes late. The employee on the phone was extremely rude and said they couldn't keep the table free despite the reservation. It was very likely that our table would be taken by the time we arrived, and we wouldn't be able to get a seat. I've never experienced anything like this before – absolutely unacceptable! Anyone who values hospitality should think twice about making a reservation here. We decided not to go at all and will avoid the restaurant in the future.

The best Indian restaurant there is, I always enjoy coming back! The food is delicious and the prices are really fair. They always give you extra rice when you order it for delivery! The outdoor area is also very nice in the summer. Everything is top-notch.

The food tasted okay, but I couldn't really enjoy it after the first plate I had wasn't clean. I had to give it to the waiter to bring me a new one. From then on, I couldn't really enjoy my meal.

Highly recommended! Sangam impresses us regularly. The dishes are aromatic, authentic, and perfectly seasoned – the chicken masala and spinach cheese were particularly delicious. The garlic naan is also absolutely fantastic. The service is very friendly and attentive. The value for money is excellent across the board. I'll definitely be back – a full 5 stars!

We were there with a friend who goes there often, and we received a very nice welcome, nice people, and good food. Not everyone speaks perfect German, but that's okay, I think. We can definitely go back.

Attention: The prices on the online lunch menu are incorrect! After pointing out the incorrect prices on the online lunch menu, I was refunded the lower price, but was politely asked never to order from there again. However, the owner obviously knows about the incorrect prices on the lunch menu. No apology, no understanding. Thus, customers are deliberately deceived when ordering. It's a shame. The food was actually good. Unfortunately, the service was not.

I know and appreciate Indian cuisine very much. Unfortunately, today's menu wasn't up to scratch. I can't recommend this restaurant.

We had the lunch menu there yesterday. Everyone was absolutely thrilled because it was absolutely delicious. The friendly server was courteous and welcoming. I like the ambiance, but for my taste, the seating could be a little more casual. However, that's just complaining at a high level.

Delicious, but the hot food could be more spicy, the Jalfrezi was not hot at all. Haven't tried Vindaloo. Extra star for free starter popadoms! ☝️

Delicious food. Nice atmosphere, friendly service.

The food was really enjoyable and very interesting. Even the rice was fluffy and juicy and not dry! Everything came to the table freshly prepared and there was no lack of service there either. We had mango chicken once and chicken marinated in mint, coriander and spinach (that's why it's so green).

The Sangam used to be my favorite restaurant. I now order a lot and am not there as often anymore. The last 5 times my favorite dish always tasted completely different and unfortunately really not good. I don't know if the chef has changed or if the delivery has become too much. At the moment I can only refer to delivery. My experience on site was always excellent in all respects. It's been a while but I think I'll try it again locally in the hope that, like most of them, it's due to the additional delivery.

Very ordinary Indian restaurant with good and inexpensive selection. The service is very courteous and elegantly dressed, something you rarely see these days. Definitely worth recommending :)

Good Indian food, it a bit loud even if it is not completely full

If you like Indian cuisine, you can eat really well there. I actually chose the wrong dish for myself. My mistake. But I tried all the others and it tasted really good. Price/performance was very good. Well, it's best reached on foot. It's not possible to get there by car. A digestive walk never did any harm. With that in mind, try it. It's worth it.

Das Essen und die Getränke wurden in einer Art und Weise serviert, dass man als Gast gemerkt hat, dass man unerwünscht ist. Als wir mit dem Essen fertig waren, saß die Belegschaft beim Essen und wir mussten unverhältnismäßig lange warten bis wir zahlen durften. So ein Verhalten ist unangebracht. Ändern Sie Ihre Zeiten und teilen Sie Ihren Kunden mit "Ab 13.00 Uhr sind Gäste unerwünscht"

Went there and were initially complained about why so few of us were eating anything. The other waiter who brought the food was also highly motivated -> not. When it came to payment, eyes were rolled... sry, but I would give the service 0 stars if I could.

Whenever in Augsburg, this is one of our top must eat at places. Lunch or dinner. Closed in afternoon so go punctually for lunch! Indians who live in Munich come all the way. Book a table for dinner! Great options also for vegans and vegetarians, take out or stay.

The best Indian in all of Augsburg! Super tasty food, a good selection and very polite staff. The head of the restaurant is also passionate about the rooms. The cheese naan as a side dish is highly recommended, it simply cannot be missed! It is a bit difficult to pick up from the location by car as there is hardly any parking space. It is advisable to have two people get the food so that one can sit in the car and drive away if necessary. Absolute recommendation!

We spontaneously went to Sangam for dinner on Wednesday and had the special tali for two. Starting with a starter, we continued with 6-8 different tali (to be honest, I didn't count the bowls). The Tali in the bowls were sooooo delicious. We also got different pickled chicken and vegetables, everything was so delicious! Of course naan and rice were also served. Everything was so delicious that we couldn't even finish the second portion of rice. At the end we were given three different sweets in bowls. The next morning I regretted not eating more! We always like to come here because the quality and the price are right compared to other Indian restaurants. Unfortunately I didn't take a photo of the food but that's just a reason to go and see for yourself!

We actually regularly ordered our lunch there. Unfortunately, the quality has continued to decline in recent months. It starts with the small portions again and again. The rice is usually old and of poor quality. Half of the soups/sauces consist of oil, which firstly looks disgusting and secondly causes stomach pain after eating. Anything with curry in the name doesn't look, smell or taste anything like curry. We don't order there anymore. But I hope that the quality of the lunch dishes is like it was 1-2 years ago. If you are there in the evening, the quality is worlds better.

We have been here to the restaurant many times because it is always absolutely delicious. I would really like to say it is the best Indian restaurant in and around Augsburg. The service is perfect every time, the staff is always friendly and the boss is an absolutely nice person. From the mango lassi to the Nannbrot, the starters, the main courses, everything was really great. The price-performance ratio is perfect in the restaurant! No matter what we have eaten so far, it has always been perfect and, like yesterday, we had a lovely evening there.

Excellent food in a nice atmosphere.

Have been to Sangam several times now and would recommend this restaurant at any time. A little hidden in the side street, not the best location, but quite central. Among other things, we had a surprise menu for two, and on the other visit we had CurryMangoChicken. Everything was very tasty. Really recommend the surprise menu if you want to discover something new. There came a plate with numerous dips and pickled meat, additional vegetables with meat, a tomato soup as a starter, and three small bowls on the bedside table. Would love to tell you exactly what we ate but we weren't told and if we had asked I'm pretty sure we wouldn't have understood. No matter which waiter says something, you look at each other every now and then and no one understands it, even after asking several times. :-D Unfortunately it's kind of funny, but also very strange. Nevertheless, people are very friendly and helpful. In between we also look at the right one. The food always came quickly. When serving, a spoonful of rice is always spooned on top, which I don't think should be the case. I'm big enough because either everything comes on the plate, you get everything served, or you take everything yourself. The ambience doesn't quite suit my taste. A large room with very narrow tables and seating. On the walls there are large posers of Indian dancers and other typical decorations. Because it's so small, it's quite loud when it's full. The men's toilet could also use a renovation, unfortunately the floor has also stuck. More hygiene would be great, but who knows who was there before me and how. So when it comes to food, a clear 5 stars, the rest unfortunately gets a deduction.

There were 10 of us, the food actually tasted very good, but when doing the billing the waiter insisted on paying three euros for an extra portion of bread that we had ordered. He got a minimum tip of three euros per person and still insisted on payment, which was a shame.

The food is very good and tastes very authentic. We ordered a thali and a mint bread, which is highly recommended.

Super delicious food! Many vegetarian and vegan dishes. The naan bread is soo good. Since it was very busy, we had to wait a little longer for the food. But otherwise everything was great 😍

Bros don't try dishes with mango!!! Certainly the other dishes taste better, I can't say anything about that. We got fish and chicken mango, shit tasted LEGIT the way mango soap smells. It was called chicken, cashew sauce and mango. So I thought mango would only be a small part of the entire meal. Was wrong :( The whole thing was just mango, you didn't taste anything else. So treat yourself to something different...

Unfortunately the food was very mediocre! 10 different meals and none of them were really tasty. Loveless and not very Indian in taste… what a shame! No enjoyment and no recommendation

The guys who Handels the Sangam restaurant is very arrogant. I don’t know who the owner is, if the owner is looking into comment the he must take action against this guy. He behavior was very racist. People should avoid going to Sangam. Reply 26.10.2021: As requested by the Owner. Here is my detailed racial experience faced by the Restaurant Manager. Yes i did visit Sangam on 17th of October. I had called placed an order for 2 dishes over the call. The guy who manages the Restaurant (little Small guy) himself picked the call and took the order. He told over call to come in 20 Minutes. I reached to the restaurant in around 30 to 32 Minutes. After reaching i got to know that he had forgot to place the order in Kitchen. I waited almost 10 to 15 Minutes before i got my order. I asked why this delay happened and he replied its to busy and if you want best food then you must wait. I said this is not a way you should reply and then his reply was '' you have ordered for so less amount (15 to 20 Euro) and expecting that you don't wait. His last word was the raciest of raciest comment: He told you can go to some other restaurant from next time. This is not a way a Manager of the restaurant should behave. Such reply from a Manager (employee) of Sangam is shame.

We have been going to this restaurant for many years and have always been extremely satisfied. The food is always of consistent quality and the staff is very friendly and accommodating. Even if we came spontaneously and didn't have a reservation, we still got a seat, even if the restaurant was very full. We can warmly recommend this restaurant.

Unfortunately I can't give it less than one star. What can you say when an employee rudely says "if you had stayed at home" That was my first and fortunately last visit. Have fun with your professional employees.

I would like to share my really disappointing experience at this Indian restaurant. The waiter was incredibly rude and disrespectful. When we politely asked to change one of the chairs, which was our right as guests, we received an extremely unfriendly response. Luckily we decided not to eat there. Such behavior suggests that there could be problems in other areas of the restaurant. Such a disrespectful way of dealing with guests is not possible. I wish I could give no star at all.

Sangam was my go-to restaurant for almost 2 years now but sadly the quality now is not the same. Ordered my dinner at home and the daal makhni was way too salty, it felt like the salt was added twice which I understand that mistake happens. Called the restaurant to report the same and they said to make a complain from the delivery app and they will send the order again. I did the same and even got an auto generated email that they received the feedback. Waited for more than an hour after that but no response from the restaurant and they never delivered the food again. Total waste of money as I could not eat the daal at all !!

Unfortunately the food has lost quality. I have been going to the Sangam on and off for 6 years. There is now something wrong with the sauces, which some friends have also confirmed to me. As usual, most Indian sauces are made with butter, cream or even yogurt. Unfortunately the sauces are now totally sweet and no longer have that fantastic spice and depth compared to previous orders. The appearance also suggests that some sauces are currently made with starch. On the other hand, the naan and roti were excellent as always. Unfortunately, the service was no longer as attentive on our last visit and torn runners that have been wiped off with a cloth after the previous guest are not particularly inviting either. It really makes me very sad that something has changed in the kitchen. So I won't be coming back for a while. This used to be my go-to shop for comfort food.

I ordered two different types of biryani, but both were almost identical - only the meat was different. Unfortunately, they hardly resembled real biryani. Instead of spicy, aromatic rice, there was boring German rice with chicken and lamb. It's a shame, I was really hoping for something authentic.

A very pleasant atmosphere can be found here and again and again. The service is very friendly and respectful. They try very hard to fulfill all of their guests' wishes. Out of deep gratitude, we visit Öse Restaurant very often.
