Sehr leckeres Essen und super freundlich Service

War bereits öfter im Sangam und es schmeckt jedes Mal fantastisch. In einem kleinen Hinterhof kann man gemütlich draußen sitzen. Die Preise sind angemessen und der Service ist aufmerksam.

Die Leute hier verstehen ihr Handwerk. Ausgezeichnete, authentische Küche. Freundlicher und aufmerksamer Service. Sehr faire Preise. Ich war geschäftlich allein hier, aber ich werde mit meinen Freunden für ein Wochenende nach Augsburg zurückkehren, nur um dieses Restaurant zu besuchen.

Das beste indische Restaurant in Augsburg.

Das Restaurant liegt in einer malerischen, schmalen Straße. Das Essen war hervorragend, authentisch, individuell anpassbar und preiswert. Die Bedienung war sehr gastfreundlich. Wir haben ausschließlich vegetarische Gerichte bestellt – Palak Paneer und Matar Paneer. Beide waren sehr lecker. Ein absolutes Muss für alle, die in Augsburg Lust auf indisches Essen haben.

Das Mittagsmenü ist sehr lohnenswert

Würde falsch beliefert angerufen und der Chef war ein richtig unfreundlich Mensch nie wieder!!!

Ich hatte indische Kunden zu Besuch und da wollte ich den beiden am 2. Abend etwas "Heimat" bieten (am ersten Abend gab's Pizza). Der Besuch war ein voller Erfolg. Meine Speisen wurden angenehm scharf zubereitet und für die Inder dann ordentlich scharf. Alle Servicekräfte waren außerordentlich freundlich und die Inder (ich auch) fühlten sich sehr wohl. Ich komme sehr gerne wieder. Auch ohne indische Besucher. Vielen Dank an das gesamte Team.

Sangam gehört zweifellos zu den besten indischen Restaurants in Augsburg. Das Essen ist absolut köstlich, und das Naan, frisch aus dem Tandoor, war ein absolutes Highlight. Sehr empfehlenswert für alle, die Lust auf hervorragende indische Küche haben!

Eines der besten Restaurants der Stadt! Definitiv mehr als 5 Sterbe verdient! Essen mit viel Charakter und Geschmack, dazu ein unglaublich freundlicher Service – man fühlt sich einfach wohl. Klare Empfehlung von einem langjährigen Stammgast. Wer hier nicht essen geht verpasst was - versprochen.

Gehe hier seit Jahren sowohl mittags (großartiges Mittagsangebot) als auch abends hin und war bis jetzt immer sehr zufrieden. Große Auswahl an köstlichen Speisen und alles zu fairen Preisen (besodners mittags)

Nettes Ambiente, freundlicher Service, Essen schmackhaft, aber auch nicht mehr. 4,90 Euro für 0,33 L Apfelsaftschorle (anstelle der in der Karte angegebenen 0,5 L) ist völlig unangemessen und führt zu Punktabzug!

Der Mittagstisch ist ein Schnäppchen und lecker, der Service zuvorkommend und die Location hat eine einladende Atmosphäre

Service und Atmosphäre sind gut, aber das Essen ist nicht gut. Bitte fügen Sie zumindest ein positives Lob hinzu. Vielen Dank.

Waren bereits 4-5 Mal in diesem Restaurant und kommen gerne wieder jedes Mal wenn wir nach Augsburg müssen (sofern der Koch und der Service gleichbleibt :) ). Aufmerksamer und freundlicher Service, wunderbare Speisen, die recht schnell geliefert werden und uns jedes Mal mit einem tollem Gefühl gehen lassen, das noch Stunden danach anhält!! Der Haustee und Lassi sind auch genial. Was man aber wissen muss: dass es keine behindertengerechten/Rollstuhl gerechte Toiletten gibt (Toiletten sind im Keller ohne Aufzug).

Das Restaurant Sagam ist sehr nett eingerichtet. Trotz der Öffnung (Freitagabend) um 17.30, waren schon um 17.45 reichlich Tische da, das spricht für das Restaurant. Der Service ist sehr freundlich, liebevoll und zuvorkommend. Es wird in regelmäßigen Abständen immer gefragt, ob alles passt. Das Essen war in Ordnung, liegt aber daran, dass ich mich mit der indischen Küche nicht anfreunden kann, das ist also mein Geschmack. Die Bestellungen kamen recht schnell. Einen Kritikpunkt muss ich da lassen, die Karte ist viel zu umfangreich, man muss sehr lange lesen, bis man durch ist. Gegen 20.30 war das Restaurant voll, es war ratsam zu reservieren.

Wir waren heute hier indisch essen und es hat uns wirklich sehr gut geschmeckt. Die Gerichte waren frisch und richtig lecker zubereitet. Man merkt, dass hier mit viel Liebe gekocht wird. Ein ganz besonderes Lob geht an unseren Kellner Happy – er war unglaublich freundlich, aufmerksam und total herzlich. Man hat sich direkt willkommen und wohl gefühlt. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder und können das Restaurant nur weiterempfehlen!

Haben richtig viele vegetarische und vegane Gerichte die auch super schmecken. Service war auch ultra lieb :) Komme auf jeden Fall nochmal 😊

Günstiges Essen für Stadtmitte, gute Portionsgröße, freundlicher Service. Die Gerichte sind gut gewürzt, das Fleisch gut gegart. Die Naan Brote als Beilage waren sehr gut.

Hatten ein bisschen Chaos mit Uber Eats, wofür das Restaurant absolut nichts konnte. Der Chef war super lieb und hat uns geholfen, das Problem zu lösen. Mega Service und überhaupt nicht selbstverständlich! Danke dafür! 💗 Das Essen ist übrigens auch zu empfehlen;)

Das beste Restaurant in ganz Augsburg. Ich war schon so oft hier und bin jedes Mal begeistert von dem Essen und dem tollen Team!

Gute Speisen, allerdings sehr angepasst an den deutschen Gaumen und es ist mir jetzt schon zweimal passiert, dass ich Chapati bestellt habe und Roti bekommen habe, als wäre ich so ein Europäer der den Unterschied eh nicht kennt. Sehr zu empfehlen ist die Knoblauchsuppe. Ambiente: Hohes Gewölbe eines historischen Kaufmannhauses, indisch bunt dekoriert, aber ohne Kitsch. Es gibt zudem einen überdachten Innenhof. Preise: Moderat.

Restaurant fast leer. Wir waren im 13h30 zum Mittagessen da. Zu zweit durften wir nicht an einem Vierertisch sitzen, obwohl evident, dass um diese Uhrzeit kein Ansturm zu erwarten war. Uns wurde die Karte mit den Worten „wir schließen um 14h30“ überreicht. Essen war eher mäßig (Chicken Korma ohne Mandeln, geschmacksneutral, Rindfleisch in Soße war alt und hart). Es war wahrscheinlich unser erster und letzter Besuch.

Die verschiedenen Essen sind hervorragend. Für jeden etwas dabei, ob mit Fleisch oder ohne. Das Ambiente und der Service ist super! Weiter so!

Just opened recently. Very friendly owners and staff. The sausages are really delicious, but the spicy sausage could be a bit spicier, at least for my taste. I wish you all the best and a successful start.

We'd been wanting to come here for a while and weren't disappointed. The wide selection of dishes (vegetarian, fish & meat) is fantastic; there's something for everyone. The quality of everything was excellent, especially the vindaloo – wonderfully seasoned and with a good kick. Highly recommended!

Easily the best Indian restaurant in Augsburg. The level of food and quality of service is the best ever! As an Indian person, I always felt the food quality is almost as good as it is back in India! I have been here so many times that I have lost the count. Highly recommended!!

A very nice, cozy restaurant. Friendly and efficient service, the food was very tasty; I had vegetables that were crisp and fresh, and the sauce was delicious with its spices. My companion had fish chili, which was truly excellent. We ordered from the lunch menu, but the portions were still generous, and soup or salad was included.

I ate here again after a long absence due to moving away. It was excellent as always, the service was friendly and accommodating. And if you order spicy dishes, they're really spicy. So beware! Although the restaurant was busy – I had reserved a table – I was served immediately on Sunday evening, and all dishes were served with appropriate intervals. It's also worth mentioning that the drink prices, compared to other (especially northern German) restaurants, were almost in the nostalgic range. The value for money was absolutely fine. Highly recommended!

A wonderful Indian restaurant offering authentic dishes full of rich flavors 🌶️🍛. The food quality is excellent, with perfectly balanced spices that make the dishes truly special. The atmosphere is cozy, and the staff are friendly and attentive. Prices are very reasonable considering the quality and generous portions. One of the best Indian restaurants I’ve tried in Germany.

Lambs Vindaloo was tomato sauce and not Vindaloo. Butter chicken was 70 sauce

The food standard was quite disappointing considering other reviews I have read. We had lamb vindaloo, hardly any lamb and so much tomato sauce that overwhelms the vindaloo spices. The rice was plain, the naan was so thin. Honestly, Ganesha restaurant had better food.

It has nothing to do with good food. Chili chicken was just a bit of fried chicken with a cheap sweet and sour sauce. Nothing that tasty.

We have visited many Indian restaurants and decided to give this one a go for a birthday celebration. We all love Indian cuisine and were looking forward to the food after reading the reviews...it was a huge disappointment! Most of the dishes could almost have been mixed up with an Italian restaurant as the sauces of the tomato based curries were just that, more tomato than anything else. The Atmosphere and decor was lovely, service was a bit slow in waiting for someone to come over to our table. It's a pity about the food. Maybe it was an off night...

I tried them recently and was happy with the food. Its a fantastic find on Lieferando. It's rare to get the authentic taste of vegetarian Indian food right here in Germany, but this place does it beautifully. I was especially impressed by how fresh everything was, even when I placed my order late at night around 9:30 p.m.

The food was okay, but nothing special. Portions were rather small—the rice was barely enough for two adults. Overall, the value for money was just okay. Unfortunately, the service was disappointing: The waiter seemed unfriendly and rushed, rushed us to order, and left us waiting for a long time after we asked for a little more time without paying any attention. We also had to wait forever to pay until we finally went to the cashier ourselves. This significantly spoiled the overall impression.

We ordered Paneer, bhindi, daal makhani, butter chicken, and Lamb curry. Lamb curry and Bhindi were very disappointing. We received lamb meat dipped in tomato puree. Dal makhani and Paneer met our expectations.

Very disappointing – not recommended! We had reserved a table for two people for 6:00 PM today. Due to traffic, we called ahead of time and said we'd be about 10-15 minutes late. The employee on the phone was extremely rude and said they couldn't keep the table free despite the reservation. It was very likely that our table would be taken by the time we arrived, and we wouldn't be able to get a seat. I've never experienced anything like this before – absolutely unacceptable! Anyone who values hospitality should think twice about making a reservation here. We decided not to go at all and will avoid the restaurant in the future.

Highly recommended! Sangam impresses us regularly. The dishes are aromatic, authentic, and perfectly seasoned – the chicken masala and spinach cheese were particularly delicious. The garlic naan is also absolutely fantastic. The service is very friendly and attentive. The value for money is excellent across the board. I'll definitely be back – a full 5 stars!

After pointing out the incorrect prices on the online lunch menu, I was refunded the lower price, but was politely asked never to order from there again. However, the owner obviously knows about the incorrect prices on the lunch menu. No apology, no understanding. Thus, customers are deliberately deceived when ordering. It's a shame. The food was actually good. Unfortunately, the service was not.

We had the lunch menu there yesterday. Everyone was absolutely thrilled because it was absolutely delicious. The friendly server was courteous and welcoming. I like the ambiance, but for my taste, the seating could be a little more casual. However, that's just complaining at a high level.

Delicious food. Nice atmosphere, friendly service.

The food was really enjoyable and very interesting. Even the rice was fluffy and juicy and not dry! Everything came to the table freshly prepared and there was no lack of service there either. We had mango chicken once and chicken marinated in mint, coriander and spinach (that's why it's so green).

The Sangam used to be my favorite restaurant. I now order a lot and am not there as often anymore. The last 5 times my favorite dish always tasted completely different and unfortunately really not good. I don't know if the chef has changed or if the delivery has become too much. At the moment I can only refer to delivery. My experience on site was always excellent in all respects. It's been a while but I think I'll try it again locally in the hope that, like most of them, it's due to the additional delivery.

If you like Indian cuisine, you can eat really well there. I actually chose the wrong dish for myself. My mistake. But I tried all the others and it tasted really good. Price/performance was very good. Well, it's best reached on foot. It's not possible to get there by car. A digestive walk never did any harm. With that in mind, try it. It's worth it.

Das ist das Allerletzte! Auf der Webseite heißt es: warme Küche bis 14:00 Uhr. Wir waren vor 14:00 Uhr vor Ort. Am liebsten hätte man uns gar nicht mehr die Speisekarte gereicht. Das Essen und die Getränke wurden in einer Art und Weise serviert, dass man als Gast gemerkt hat, dass man unerwünscht ist. Als wir mit dem Essen fertig waren, saß die Belegschaft beim Essen und wir mussten unverhältnismäßig lange warten bis wir zahlen durften. So ein Verhalten ist unangebracht. Ändern Sie Ihre Zeiten und teilen Sie Ihren Kunden mit "Ab 13.00 Uhr sind Gäste unerwünscht"
