Unfortunately the food was very mediocre! 10 different meals and none of them were really tasty. Loveless and not very Indian in taste… what a shame! No enjoyment and no recommendation

The guys who Handels the Sangam restaurant is very arrogant. I don’t know who the owner is, if the owner is looking into comment the he must take action against this guy. He behavior was very racist. People should avoid going to Sangam. Reply 26.10.2021: As requested by the Owner. Here is my detailed racial experience faced by the Restaurant Manager. Yes i did visit Sangam on 17th of October. I had called placed an order for 2 dishes over the call. The guy who manages the Restaurant (little Small guy) himself picked the call and took the order. He told over call to come in 20 Minutes. I reached to the restaurant in around 30 to 32 Minutes. After reaching i got to know that he had forgot to place the order in Kitchen. I waited almost 10 to 15 Minutes before i got my order. I asked why this delay happened and he replied its to busy and if you want best food then you must wait. I said this is not a way you should reply and then his reply was '' you have ordered for so less amount (15 to 20 Euro) and expecting that you don't wait. His last word was the raciest of raciest comment: He told you can go to some other restaurant from next time. This is not a way a Manager of the restaurant should behave. Such reply from a Manager (employee) of Sangam is shame.

I would like to share my really disappointing experience at this Indian restaurant. The waiter was incredibly rude and disrespectful. When we politely asked to change one of the chairs, which was our right as guests, we received an extremely unfriendly response. Luckily we decided not to eat there. Such behavior suggests that there could be problems in other areas of the restaurant. Such a disrespectful way of dealing with guests is not possible. I wish I could give no star at all.

We have been going to this restaurant for many years and have always been extremely satisfied. The food is always of consistent quality and the staff is very friendly and accommodating. Even if we came spontaneously and didn't have a reservation, we still got a seat, even if the restaurant was very full. We can warmly recommend this restaurant.

Unfortunately I can't give it less than one star. What can you say when an employee rudely says "if you had stayed at home" That was my first and fortunately last visit. Have fun with your professional employees.

Sangam was my go-to restaurant for almost 2 years now but sadly the quality now is not the same. Ordered my dinner at home and the daal makhni was way too salty, it felt like the salt was added twice which I understand that mistake happens. Called the restaurant to report the same and they said to make a complain from the delivery app and they will send the order again. I did the same and even got an auto generated email that they received the feedback. Waited for more than an hour after that but no response from the restaurant and they never delivered the food again. Total waste of money as I could not eat the daal at all !!

Unfortunately the food has lost quality. I have been going to the Sangam on and off for 6 years. There is now something wrong with the sauces, which some friends have also confirmed to me. As usual, most Indian sauces are made with butter, cream or even yogurt. Unfortunately the sauces are now totally sweet and no longer have that fantastic spice and depth compared to previous orders. The appearance also suggests that some sauces are currently made with starch. On the other hand, the naan and roti were excellent as always. Unfortunately, the service was no longer as attentive on our last visit and torn runners that have been wiped off with a cloth after the previous guest are not particularly inviting either. It really makes me very sad that something has changed in the kitchen. So I won't be coming back for a while. This used to be my go-to shop for comfort food.

Four of us had dinner and ate very well and inexpensively. The restaurant in the courtyard was well attended but we were served quickly and attentively. We'd love to come back

Without a reservation, the two of us received a friendly welcome and were given a place on a Saturday evening. All the service staff were very attentive and friendly. The food came very quickly and tasted fantastic.

I ordered two different types of biryani, but both were almost identical - only the meat was different. Unfortunately, they hardly resembled real biryani. Instead of spicy, aromatic rice, there was boring German rice with chicken and lamb. It's a shame, I was really hoping for something authentic.

A very pleasant atmosphere can be found here and again and again. The service is very friendly and respectful. They try very hard to fulfill all of their guests' wishes. Out of deep gratitude, we visit Öse Restaurant very often.

the service is pathetic. The waiter told us that if there are five of you, you should order 150-200 euros. We weren't hungry so we ordered two dishes and five drinks. We were treated very badly and were only served food after 45 minutes. When we left the restaurant, the waiter also showed us the other table's bill, which was worth 150 euros. It's so sad that this restaurant doesn't know what customer service is.

Food was good as always, but lunch prices have become a bit expensive and there could be a larger vegetarian selection on the lunch menu.

One of my favorite restaurants when I want to eat Indian food. The staff and boss are very friendly. Meanwhile, there is always a reason for a longer conversation, but they are never intrusive. The food is absolutely recommended and very authentic. The portions are generous and there are lunch menus to suit every taste. I always enjoy going there. Update I've been there for lunch several times now and it's been perfect every time. The boss already knows us and doesn't miss the chance to greet and say goodbye to us personally. This is Sangam Style!

Pre-ordering online didn't work reliably, but a follow-up call to the restaurant clarified everything. The service is very good and the staff are very friendly. The food was really delicious and the price-performance ratio was good. It's very nice to sit and I didn't find the tables to be too close together.

We visit the Sangam restaurant regularly as we don't know of any comparable Indian restaurant. The sauces are very tasty and always made with fresh ingredients and the service is also very courteous! Only recommended! (By the way, we were given a glass of tap water when we asked!)

Outstanding food! I had the Vindaloo and asked for it to be spicy as that’s something I tend to miss in Germany. They knocked it out of the park. It was spicke but the spiced didn’t overpower the flavor at all. The naan and rice were perfect as well. We got a mixed tandoori plate as well and every piece was cooked nicely and flavorful.

The best Indian food in Augsburg, in my opinion. Everything tastes excellent. We've been going there for dinner for years. If you want to eat here, you should definitely make a reservation in good time and even with a reservation it can sometimes take a very, very long time, especially on weekends. The tables are usually fully booked, even though there are already more tables than in other restaurants. Overall I can only give it 5 stars, the food is just too good! There has always been a dedicated page with vegetarian dishes, but recently there has been a separate page with vegan dishes. 👍

Das Restaurant ist sehr schön und gemütlich und großzügig. Der Service war sehr gut. Preis-Leistungsverhältnis auch sehr gut das Essen hat uns aber überhaupt nicht geschmeckt. Malai Kofta und auch Chicken Tandoori waren beide sehr fade und merkwürdig.

We waited 45 minutes for the food. When we call, the food is on the way. When we call again after another 30 minutes, the meal has been canceled by Lieferando, which I can't believe. So we starved the whole evening.

This restaurant was busy on a Monday night. That says a great deal about it. The staff were very friendly and efficient. The Butter Chicken was really delicious and the breads were especially nice. Happy giving this restaurant 5 stars.

Unfortunately, I ate something bad in this restaurant this weekend and was in the hospital after 2 hours with food poisoning. Mind you, yes it was the dish and no I don't have any intolerances. I've been coming to this restaurant regularly for a year and have never been disappointed. Unfortunately we won't be going to this restaurant again.

Unfortunately it's not the same anymore. Today we ate at Sangam for the first time in 3 years and what can I say… it was very disappointing. Points go mainly to the food. As always, the food tasted very good. However, the service was disastrous. The service is not particularly friendly and you no longer feel welcome here. Furthermore, you used to be able to order any rice you wanted, but this now costs €3.80. I can understand that it has to cost a bit due to inflation, but the amount of rice you get was a disgrace.

Hello Chefs at Sangam, please render some Indian food. I did not feel Indian with these foods. Sangam needs to rework on the taste and quality of food. All the food I tasted looked Indian but did not taste Indian.

A good Indian restaurant in Augsburg with many menus. The food is also delicious and offers many vegetarian options. Centrally located in Augsburg's old town. At lunchtime the food is cheaper and the restaurant is obviously full. From Monday to Friday there is a cheaper lunch price. The staff are friendly and serve the food in a short time.

Recommended lunch - delicious food.

It was my favorite Indian, unfortunately something went wrong last time. We made a reservation, were given a place, but after an hour we were more or less pressured to pay immediately because the next guests were probably already there. I usually always like the tikka masala here, it was so salty that it was almost impossible to eat. For the reasons mentioned, I had to deduct a few points from the rating and only recommend it to a limited extent. The garlic naan bread is recommended, the waiting time was also very short

Delicious, they always deliver! Super friendly staff and very cozy place. I recommend the chana masala which is fabulous and the naan bread which accompanies it perfectly (the garlic naan my favourite)

The restaurant officially closes at 2:30 p.m. We had already paid and at 2:36 p.m. we wanted packaging for the remaining naan bread that we had already paid for so that it wouldn't be thrown away. Man sitzt ein bisschen eng, allerdings schmeckt das Essen hervorragend und die Preis Leistung ist gut! Es gibt auch eine Mittagskarte!

Schnelles und richtig leckeres indisches Essen. Zur Mittagspause perfekte Wahl, da das Mittagsmenü echt günstig ist und die Küche schnell ist.

Unfassbar Lecker!! Egal ob vor Ort oder geliefert, das Essen ist jedes mal fantastisch. Mehr gibt es nicht zu sagen. Mehr als empfehlenswert.

Die Dips für die Vorspeise schmeckten irgendwie wässrig-als wären sie verdünnt gewesen? Das Nan Brot war sehr lecker. Die Hauptgerichte waren okay. Schade war allerdings, dass die Gerichte am Tisch nicht warm gehalten wurden. Diese Serviceleistungen erlebten wir bisher bei jedem anderen Inder in Augsburg. Servicepersonal wirkte eher gelangweilt. Als der Reis alle war dauerte es ewig, bis nachgefüllt wurde und zwischenzeitlich wurde dann auch das Essen kalt. Preis war okay. Für ein vegetarisches Gericht inkl Getränk 16€. Kommen trotzdem nicht wieder.

We were able to sit down after the pouring rain and enjoyed some delicious food. It was very crowded, which sadly resulted in a very loud chatter all around me. It was kinda hard to talk or understand anything :( My partner always chooses this restaurant because "it has the best mango chicken in augsburg". The waiter got my drink wrong two times sadly, but I ended up getting a correct one. :)

Essen war sehr lecker. Das Personal war auch sehr freundlich. Ein paar Bestellungen sind untergegangen und wurden dann nach Nachfrage aber sofort gebracht, lag aber sicherlich daran dass wir eine recht große Gruppe waren.

Tolles Essen. Schnelle und sehr freundlich Bedienung. Mittagstisch mit 8 Personen wurde freundlich und schnell bedient. Essen kam gleichzeitig und das Essen war HAMMER. WIR KOMMEN WIEDER.

Sehr gutes, klassisches indisches Essen. Traditionelles Ambiente und sehr viel Auswahl auch an vegetarischen und sogar veganen Gerichten. Das Essen hat hausgemacht geschmeckt und war gut gewürzt. Alles in allem sehr gutes Essen zu fairen Preisen. Auf jeden Fall einen Besuch wert ⭐️

Schönes Ambiente, nettes Personal und eine große Auswahl an Gerichten. Obwohl es gut besucht war, mussten wir nicht lange auf unsere Bestellungen warten. Alles war sehr lecker und wir waren sehr zufrieden. Was nicht geschafft wurde, wurde eingepackt und mit nach Hause genommen. 🙂 Der nächste Besuch ist bereits geplant.
