Haben durch "Mundpropaganda" dieses urige Gasthaus entdeckt. Der Service ist super, das Essen Wahnsinn. Ich hatte den Grillteller. Da war eine Rinderlende drauf, butterweich und leicht rosafarben. Zum Niederknien. Hab selten so gut gegessen. Die Toiletten sind supersauber. Leider hat es an dem Tag geregnet, sodass wir den Biergarten nicht besuchen konnten. Wir werden auf alle Fälle wiederkommen!!

Absolut lohnenswert und leckeres Essen. Sehr gemütlich und ganz nettes Personal. Essen kam sehr schnell und ist absolut ausreichend.

Es ist ein uriges altes Wirtshaus. Was mich ein bisschen gestört hat, war, dass jetzt um die Zeit noch weihnachtsdeko hing und an den Fenstern Spinnweben. Hab so den Eindruck, dass sie ein bisschen gestresst wirkten. Aber trotzdem dem war es sehr lecker und wir kommen wieder.

Waren auch da uns hat es leider nicht geschmeckt das Schnitzel ist nicht mit Salz und Pfeffer gewürzt daher ein komischer Geschmack dann von der Fritteuse raus muss man mögen leider nichts für uns .

Sandbacher Hof, Sandbacher Str. 58, 94474 Vilshofen Der Außenwerbung des Sandbacher Hofes eilt bereits ein beachtlicher Ruf voraus: „Niederbayerns XXL-Lokal Nr. 1 – mehr song ma ned!“ Schon beim Betreten der Gaststube versteht man schnell, was damit gemeint ist. Das rustikale Ambiente wird von langen, massiven Tischen geprägt, die offensichtlich für größere Gesellschaften gedacht sind. Man hat sofort das Gefühl, als könnte jeden Moment eine Senioren-Fußballmannschaft zur dritten Halbzeit hereinmarschieren oder der durstige und hungrige Löschzug der Freiwilligen Feuerwehr nach erfolgreichem Einsatz einfallen. Nun gut – wir sind immerhin auch schon sieben Personen und werden entsprechend unserer Reservierung sehr freundlich an einem der langen Tische platziert. Mit Vorspeisen hält man sich hier gar nicht erst auf. Im Sandbacher Hof geht es gleich zur Sache – beziehungsweise direkt zur Bestellung der Hauptgerichte. Und die haben es in sich. Wir ordern einen gigantischen Schnitzelteller für vier Personen: acht große Schnitzel, ein gefühlter Sack voll Fritten und ein großen Salat – alles serviert auf einer Platte, die eher an ein Serviertablett aus der Großkantine erinnert. Dazu kommen ein bunter Salatteller mit Schnitzelstreifen und ein „Cordi Paris“ – also ein Cordon bleu mit Camembertfüllung und Preiselbeeren – natürlich begleitet von reichlich Pommes, sowie ein Schlemmerschnitzel Spezial. Als die Bedienung die Speisen bringt, muss man erst einmal tief Luft holen. Schon der Anblick der Portionen sorgt für ein erstes Sättigungsgefühl. Spätestens jetzt verstehen wir, warum man hier auf Vorspeisen verzichtet. Das wäre wirklich des Guten zu viel. Also: Angriff! Nach etwa der Hälfte der Portion stellt sich ein gewisser Respekt vor der verbleibenden Menge ein. Aber wir kämpfen uns tapfer weiter durch. Geschmacklich sind die Schnitzel durchaus ordentlich, die Pommes perfekt gegart und der große Salatteller wird dankbar angenommen. Das Cordi Paris entpuppt sich als interessante Schnitzelvariation und findet durchaus geschmackliche Zustimmung. Das Schlemmerschnitzel Spezial hingegen ist ein Kapitel für sich: paniert, mit Schinken und Käse überbacken und anschließend großzügig mit Sauce Hollandaise und Pilzen übergossen – damit das Tier auch wirklich endgültig tot ist. Natürlich begleitet von einem weiteren Berg Pommes. Ein Österreicher würde sich bei diesem Anblick eines mit Saucen malträtierten, panierten Schnitzels vermutlich mit Grausen abwenden. Aber Probieren geht bekanntlich über Studieren – und gemessen mit dem Maßstab einer niederbayerischen Landgaststätte schmeckt es sogar erstaunlich gut. Als einziger Nachtisch wird ein gemischtes Eis angeboten – auf Wunsch mit einem sahnigen Höhepunkt obendrauf. Natürlich hatten wir hier keine Gourmetküche erwartet. Aber im Fazit muss man sagen: Die Werbung hat nicht zu viel versprochen. Der Sandbacher Hof ist ein Paradies für Gourmands mit gesegnetem Appetit. Wer große Portionen aus schnörkelloser Küche liebt und keinerlei Angst vor überdimensionierten Schnitzeln hat, wird hier glücklich. Nach dem abschließenden – und dringend empfohlenen – verdauungsfördernden Blutzwurz, der bereits großflächig an der Wand beworben wird, wäre allerdings eine gemütliche Liegestatt zur ruhigen Verdauung keine schlechte Idee. Für sieben Personen inklusive Getränke haben wir am Ende 193,10 € bezahlt – ein durchaus angemessener Preis für diese kulinarische Begegnung der XXL-Art. Kurzum: Ein Lokal für Menschen mit Hunger, Humor und stabilem Magen.

Waren heute wieder mal im Sandbacher Hof, Essen war wiedermal lecker u Portionen sehr gross, Preisleistung top. Immer wieder gerne! 😉

Wir sind extra aus Landau hierher gefahren. Von außen waren wir zunächst etwas enttäuscht, da es aussah, als hätte das Lokal geschlossen. Trotzdem haben wir unser Glück versucht und wurden absolut positiv überrascht. Wir wurden sofort sehr herzlich empfangen und ebenso freundlich bedient. Es herrschte eine familiäre Atmosphäre, in der man sich direkt wohlgefühlt hat. Das Schnitzel war hervorragend. Besonders aufmerksam fanden wir, dass uns am Ende ganz selbstverständlich ein Behälter für das halbe Schnitzel zum Mitnehmen angeboten wurde – ohne dass wir danach fragen mussten. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder😍

If you're looking for a lot of food for a small price, this is the place. However, if you're looking for a modern, clean, and appealing atmosphere, this isn't the place for you. The family-style schnitzel was delicious and very spicy, as were the fries. However, the old inn has the feel of 30 years ago: the toilets are musty and smelly, and the dining room is old and has stained upholstery.

The waitress hardly pays any attention to you, the food tastes really good (if you still get something) I drove there myself for 1.5 hours because of the XXL wurywurst, but it was out of stock just like many other things, so when I reserved the place I would ask what they still had and what was out

There were two of us here and both had Cordon Bleu, with sauce that somehow didn't match the taste, but there was ketchup at the table, very good. The portions are large enough as everyone describes, but the taste is average at best because it is relatively dry and there are a lot of spices used, which creates a very strange taste. Now to the real problem; Yes Sandbacher Hof, you can also say something at the table, then the question should also be how did it taste and not It was good... because we didn't give the answer yes or no, But we ate up. Conclusion: it was sufficient, but the taste was only average. When it comes to recessions, it is striking that with less than 5 stars there is a rather unprofessional backlash from the owner, apparently very resistant to criticism. Delicious food with very nice service! The schnitzels are available in an XXL version and have a very tasty paprika breading. Always enjoy coming here. Unfortunately it's always freezing cold there and the atmosphere isn't particularly inviting inside, so one star is deducted. But it's also about the food

The Sandbacher Hof restaurant offers many different specialties and is worth a visit in terms of taste. There is a large selection of different Cordon Bleus and there is something for everyone. However, the service is a bit questionable. Because when I wanted to call in advance and reserve a table, no one answered the first number four times and then when I called with a different number they suddenly picked up. I was told on the phone that all places were reserved and occupied and that nothing would become available until the evening. When we decided to go anyway and accept the possible waiting time, we found a completely empty restaurant there without any reservations or any visitors. We also had to wait a long time before we could order something because the waitress was busy inside most of the time, although there were no guests there. We found this to be a shame and handled unprofessionally. It made you feel very out of place and unwelcome. Hopefully this was just an isolated case.

You can have it, but you don't have to. Service way too slow. Only half of the beer garden was occupied. Food is mediocre. In terms of price it fits. Toilets are old and not clean/smelly. You don't get an invoice. Apparently there is a black hole here.

Now we drove to Sandbach to go to the Sandbacher hof Essen. Says the older woman from the guest room looking out the window with glasses, only guests are allowed to park in the parking lot in front of the guest garden. I say we are guests after all. No, I am not allowed to park, only guests from the restaurant. You are all becoming very wonderful by now!!! This has never happened to me in Munich

Here you can expect and get delicious, down-to-earth cuisine and the cordon bleu variations are simply incredibly tasty. According to the opening times, it is open all day long. But if you want food, your own opening times apply. It's a shame it's been here for the second time and it's the same every time. I have no understanding of it.

We went to the Sandbacher Hof for the first time today, having often heard good things about the food and especially the large portions there. Food (2x the XL schnitzel) was very good and ready relatively quickly. The waitresses were both on point, it felt like it took 2 minutes to drink. Already at the table upon arrival. General Very friendly, attentive staff! With the best will in the world, neither of us could eat the XL schnitzel. The Sandbacher Hof was well prepared for this and we were given two kind of pizza boxes for sustainability reasons so that we could take the rest of our schnitzel and fries with us. All in all, the Sandbacher Hof is definitely worth a visit!

First of all: You should also look at the low ratings then you won't be so disappointed. The portions are really big and if you like schnitzel with curry paste, this is the place for you. What was good: the salad and the fries. In addition, there is no legal reference to additives on the menu and this cuisine doesn't work without any, my allergic reaction after eating speaks volumes. The staff tried to be friendly and serviceable, but in vain. All in one ...

Fleisch Liebhaber kommen hier an ihre Grenze. Die Portionen enorm. Ich hatte Salat und der war lecker. Ein Fisch Gericht findet sich auch auf der Karte. Bayrisch gemütlich.

wir möchten uns für den gestrigen Abend noch Mal Recht herzlich bedanken. Das Essen war mega lecker die Bedienung war sehr aufmerksam und freundlich hat auch immer gefragt ob alles passt oder ob wir noch was möchten. wir sind extra 150 km gefahren und es hat sich gelohnt. Wir wünschen dem Sandbacher Hof frohe Ostern.

Also die Lokalität innen ist so wie man es von einem bayerischen Restaurant/Wirtshaus erwartet. Es ist gemütlich und die Atmosphäre ist sehr angenehm. Die Bedienungen sind alle super freundlich! Nun zum Essen - ich bin eigentlich nicht sooo der Schnitzelesser, liegt aber daran das ich selten ein gutes Schnitzel finde. Hier muss ich sagen … das beste Schnitzel überhaupt!!! Ich hatte das „Schlemmerschnitzel“ und es war einfach eine Riesen Portion (gut für den großen Hunger) und es war super lecker! Preislich ist es echt in Ordnung! 4 Personen 89€ essen u trinken. Es gibt dort auch L - XL und XXL Portionen. An die habe ich mich noch nicht rangetraut da ich mit den normalen Portionen schon sehr satt werde. Die Karte ist gut bayerisch und es gibt eine gute Auswahl bei der man sich kaum entscheiden kann. Ich kann es echt nur weiterempfehlen!

Ambiente ist sehr schön Urig eingerichtet, man fühlt sich sofort wohl. Selbst für die kleinsten wird gesorgt. Bedienung ist sehr freundlich und schnell. So gut wie jedes Gericht gibt es in XXL. Auf dem Foto sieht man ein Schlemmerschnitzel in 500g.

XXl Currywurst war super, auch der Geschmack von der Wurst war Xxl. Mein Kollege hatte das Xl Schnitzel, war auch gut, bissl weniger Paprika wär ihm lieb gewesen, sonst alles Klasse
