San Marco in Schifferstadt

Since we only picked up the pizzas, I can't really comment on the service and ambiance. However, the pizzas were – as always – fresh, hot, and delicious. Thank you very much!

We had a delicious salad. Everything was fresh and the dressing was absolutely delicious. We also had bread. This certainly won't be our last time here.

Seven people had Pizza Chef, Pizza 14, Pasta Pizza Mix, Spaghetti Frutti di Mare (lots of good seafood), and Regatoni alla Panna. All the dishes were to our liking; everyone tried a variety of them, and everyone was delighted. The service was very competent and friendly, and they even pointed out possible variations of the dishes when ordering. To finish, we had a San Marco version of tiramisu with ice cream and cream and a panacotta dessert. Both were delicious and beautifully presented. I would recommend everything.

For me one of the best pizzas in the area. We have been coming to San Marco regularly for years and always enjoy it. The food is great, the portions are more than sufficient and the service is simply very warm. The price-performance ratio is also totally right here. The ambience is actually more of a bistro style but the San Marco doesn't claim to be a “ristorante”. We are already looking forward to the next time. 😋

Unfortunately, upgrade prices have risen sharply. Still great though. Visits have decreased significantly due to Price. We have been regular customers for at least 20 years. I even brought my wife, who was my girlfriend at the time, to eat there to this day. Always happy. It's a shame we don't live nearby otherwise we would be there more often. Great food and a nice family. Keep it up. Price performance👍

It's ok to have a beer with friends and eat something. My spinach and salmon pizza was served on a ready-made pizza crust (still possible). There was a lot of cheese on it, a little spinach, which was ok. Personally, I had a problem with the industrially pressed salmon meat cubes. A frozen pizza would have been better. The salami pizza was ok, but nothing more. At the next table I saw a fresh, attractive salad and otherwise large portions. Prices are quite cheap, staff is very friendly. The atmosphere is a typical bistro.

Unfortunately our first visit to this pizzeria today was not as positive as we expected based on the good reviews. We had been looking forward to eating here for a while, but were disappointed. I had already read in another review that the pizza was dripping with oil - and I can only agree with that, that was the case with both pizzas. The dough was so wet in the middle that it stuck to the cardboard. Really not ideal. My pizza also had a very unbalanced topping: mostly mussels, but hardly any squid or scampi. And then, for the first time in my life, I ate a pizza that was so salty - so salty that I only made it halfway through because I was hungry. My girlfriend had the "Pizza 2018" with cherry tomatoes, scampi and pesto. Here too, the scampi was sparse and the pizza was also too oily and salty, although not quite as bad as mine. For the "Medium" size, we didn't think the price was justified due to the quantity and quality of the toppings. Unfortunately, the dessert also fell short of expectations: the chocolate sauce on the tiramisu was reminiscent of runny Nutella and simply didn't fit. I'm sorry for the rather negative feedback, but unfortunately our visit was disappointing overall. I hope things will improve in the future. Edit: Thank you for your (somewhat snarky) answer. It's a shame that you couldn't take my criticism constructively. I understand that it is not pleasant to receive negative feedback, but my feedback simply reflects our personal experience at your restaurant. Regarding the pizzas: We ate them as soon as we received them, so it couldn't have been due to the time in the box. I would like to emphasize that tastes vary, but both my companion and I found the pizzas to be significantly too salty and oily. Regarding your comment about my other reviews: I actually don't go out to eat often, nor do I often write reviews - at least not on Google (there are also positive posts from me, but people like to "cherry pick" to present themselves better). But that doesn't matter - what I've written in the past is irrelevant. Such personal and unprofessional attacks don't make her look particularly good. Especially if they make the extra effort to search my profile. The fact is that we were served bad food that day. Even if you can't imagine it, the pizza just wasn't satisfying for us. After all, accepting criticism is part of business, and I hope that you might consider doing so in the future.

We ate here quite spontaneously and very early today. We were served by “Josie”. Food and drinks were served quickly and were of excellent quality and quantity. The quality of service is particularly noteworthy, as we were not only served in a hospitable but courteous manner. The price/performance ratio can be rated as reasonable to favorable considering the services received. We would love to come back…

First I have to make a comment about Karl-Heinz Weintz's recession. The way the man shouted in the bar was a complete impudence. He just wanted a drink and all hell broke loose!! The boss kindly informed him that the table would be reserved in half an hour. We sat right next to it and heard it all. He then went completely crazy and started screaming like a madman! I've really never experienced anything like that. In no way was any waiter unfriendly to the gentleman. I just can't stand it when employees are treated so horribly even though they're just doing their job. Well, some people just believe that they are above others and assume that it is okay to treat others like that. Now enough negativity :). I have to honestly say that I am very excited about the new menu and that the food was once again great!! Just like the service, you really do a good job. Thumbs up!!

First I have to make a comment about the review of "Came_the_Doktor": Such bottomless meanness to post a bad review with false and untrue content and then not even give your real name. My wife and I discovered Pizzeria San Marco about 3 years ago (we are from Speyer) and have eaten our way through the menu and have been extremely satisfied every time. No matter whether pizza, pasta, starters or schnitzel dishes. The salads are also great. The price-performance ratio is very good and the quality is right. We thank the operators of San Marco and will continue to dine there regularly Krohm family

Ordered pizza to pick up. The pizzas themselves weren't bad, but depending on the topping, the pizzas were dripping with fat. Toppings could also be a little more varied and lovingly prepared. I'll probably avoid eating anything there again, my stomach was rebelling badly.

Best pizzeria in Schifferstadt.

We celebrated my 67th birthday. We made a reservation and sat very cramped at the table. The food was good. Our grandson was given a child seat, but unfortunately it was broken. The bottom wooden panel was loose. He pushed it to the ground with his foot.

I spent an authentic Italian evening here. Luckily the staff were real Italian, because I don't speak German. I recommend here 100% Thanks so much for the espresso :)

Unsere Lieblingspizza in Schifferstadt. Dünner Boden, knusprig, lecker! Nettes Personal! Sehr kleines schlicht gestaltetes Restaurant. Wir holen das Essen bisher immer ab, aber vor Ort schmeckt es bestimmt geau so gut.

Wir lieben euer Essen aber telefonisch zu bestellen gleicht der Besteigung des MountEverest. Möglich …aber nur mit jede Menge Atem und Geduld.

Unsere Lieblingspizzeria. Super Pizza und netter, schneller Service. Nudelgerichte auch nicht schlecht, bevorzuge aber die Pizza. Mit Corona leider nicht mehr so Schnäppchenpreise wie früher, aber immer noch in Ordnung. Leider hat allerdings San Marco dafür gesorgt, dass wir in anderen Restaurants nicht mehr so gerne Pizza essen, weil wir denken "schmeckt ja sowieso schlechter als bei San Marco".

Hallo, mein Eindruck war, dass es in Ihrem Restaurant sehr laut und hektisch war, öfters etwas laut scheppernd hinuntergefallen ist, viel außer Haus "gegangen" ist, darunter hat wohl auch der Service etwas gelitten. Den Wein aus der Karte gab es nicht, das Essen war okay, mir persönlich hat es nicht so geschmeckt.

Die Pizza war wirklich ungenießbar, bei einer Pizzeria erwarte ich einen dicken und knusprigen Rand und einen hohen Boden. Aber im Gegenteil. Die pizza war mehr als dünn und es war so gut wie kein Rand vorhanden. Der Geschmack an sich war auch nicht lecker. Nicht zu empfehlen.

Schickes Restaurant mit vielfältigen Speisen. Da findet sich jeder was. Preislich völlig in Ordnung.

Also erst mal ein Kompliment die Pizzen und Salate sind super lecker! Preis Leistungsverhältnis ist auch ok. ABER bei einer großbestellung mit mehreren familienpizzen und Salaten mit abholung nichtmal ein kleines Dankeschön in Form einer flasche Fanta oder sonstigem ist mir noch nie passiert. Bei allen anderen Pizzerien ist das Standard wenn man so viel geld da lässt und nichtmal tisch und toiletten benutzt. Schade. Liebe Grüße

Wir nutzen diese Pizzeria gerne mit dem Abholservice und essen zu Hause. Hervorragende Pizza für alle, die den Pizzaboden gerne dünn und kross mögen. Insidertipp: die Diavolo ist tatsächlich leicht scharf (im Gegensatz zu manch fadem Konkurrenzprodukt gleichen Namens). Ambiente hat Luft nach oben.
