Had some great rib eye here which was sourced from Jacks Creek. Was surprised at quality and the way it was prepared. Will definitely come again.

I just wanted to make an appointment by phone for October this year. 4 people. The people would have traveled across Germany. The gentleman on the phone was so rude and said that he wouldn't accept this reservation yet - only after "the summer holidays". When I asked what period the “summer vacation” covers or when I should call, the gentleman said: “Well, after the summer vacation.” I asked again when exactly I could call again, he replied: “Yes, in September”. Apparently the Lord wants to scare people away!! So rude and uncouth!!! I then told him that he was very rude. When he replied harshly, I ended the call. I definitely won't visit this restaurant. I've never experienced anything like that!

As meatlovers we discovered this venue by accident and it turned out to be the best steakhouse we've ever encountered. The meat is really top-notch quality and prepared with love and passion. You will get the best meat and side dishes you've ever tasted, brought by the most passionate people that run the place. We had a great time and will surely come back in our next trip to the area. To the owners: thank you for your hospitality and great time!

Absolutely awesome!! You will be greeted with a female companion. Here you will only get steaks! And they're worth it! Very nice atmosphere and hospitality. We'll be back! First of all, the ambience and the meat were really excellent! But the disappointment came with the side dishes. The salad only consisted of iceberg lettuce, 3 cocktail tomatoes, 2 slices of cucumber and a few sunflower seeds for €9.80 - the fries, yes, that's just how it went, fries - Corn from a can €6.40 - Jalapenos from a jar - baked potato / more like a jacket potato mashed and a dollop of sour cream..... herb butter ready packet... The prices would be okay if the quality matched the meat. The host was very instructive and inflexible (moving the table 30 cm is not possible) and we could certainly talk from a distance!! huh?? Even though we ordered for 7 people. There was no demand for further drinks. 1 voucher should be registered in advance?? otherwise you can't redeem it?? Our conclusion: we were 7 people - 3 stars for the meat and ambience and you don't have to again... Würzburg’s gastronomy has even more to offer.

At first there was only the option of roasting the meat ourselves on the stone, with the unnecessary comment that any 3-year-old could do that, even though it wasn't that we couldn't do it, it was just that we didn't like doing it that much. When we ordered, another comment came that even a small child would order more meat and two additional side dishes, which in my opinion was absolutely cheeky to say something like that, after all it is our decision how much we want to eat. Since there was no way to put the meat aside and I didn't want to/couldn't eat it so quickly, it was of course very overcooked in the end and again the gentleman said he was making an unnecessary comment about how I would have ordered it if I hadn't want to fry it yourself because it has to taste like the sole of a shoe. When I answered that I don't eat that quickly, the only answer I got was that everyone can do it. I found having to pay €6.50 for a can of corn very excessive, the price of the meat itself was okay compared to other restaurants. At least the meat was good and the ambience was nice. The woman was also nice and friendly, but the gentleman ruined our meal with his constant unfriendly comments and constantly disturbed us. Therefore we will not go there again and will not recommend it to anyone.

What a surprise, the last time I was here was 40 years ago and now this steak sensation! The seating was great and the meat was outstanding, the last time I had eaten it with this quality in Colorado. James Bond wants to return!

Great steak in an elegant atmosphere. For me the best steak in Würzburg and maybe even the best I've ever had! At first I was skeptical about preparing it on the stone, but it worked really well and easily, so the steak was exactly how I wanted it :) The dessert was also delicious, apple strudel is highly recommended! I'll definitely be back! Was worth every penny

So, it's not enough for 5 stars for me, why: The quality of the meat was very good, the preparation on the hot stone wasn't my thing, but of course that's a matter of taste, I think it still has potential on the grill. There's always something patronizing about the service, but maybe that's a generational issue... So: OK, but I don't think it'll be a second time.

Cozy atmosphere, friendly and competent service combined with a very inviting atmosphere. I can't imagine there being a comparable quality of meat in the area - keep it up! Btw, the prices are fair too.

It couldn't be worse My son reserved a table for 7 people for my husband's 50th birthday. When we arrived we were offered a table for 2 people and a table next door for 5 people. When we asked if we could put the tables together, the response was very angry. Those are good seats, they sit next to each other. We have not yet understood why it is not possible. My son was asked on the phone if everyone eats meat, to which he replied in the affirmative. When we got there we discovered that burgers were only available on two days during the week. Since me and my two children don't eat steaks, we were forced to switch to side dishes. The mistake was ours, we had overlooked that burgers were only available on two days during the week. But that wasn't a problem for us, since we wanted to offer Dad something special for his 50th birthday, we would have made do with side dishes. But everyone else ordered meat. 2x200 g and 2x500 g steak. Which totaled 1400g of meat. If we had all ordered 200g of meat, that would have been 1400g for 7 people. The boss warned us again that he reserved seats exclusively for meat eaters. He only has limited spaces and he would have to give them to customers who also eat meat. In fact, the shop was half empty and I couldn't understand why he only served us exceptionally, "a vegetarian would be possible, but not anymore"!!! At this point I asked if we should clear the table? He commented, almost grudgingly, that he was making an exception because we wouldn't be able to get a table in Würzburg today. But it didn't seem to give him any peace and he came back to the table, said that we had already entered the shop aggressively etc... (Because we asked why we couldn't push the tables together, which I haven't yet I understand???) This clearly showed how overwhelmed he was. When he brought the drinks he started again and I pointed out that I didn't want any further discussions as my husband was celebrating his 50th birthday today... He then returned to my question about whether we should clear the table should and gave us the freedom to go. Of course we left, because that's not how you deal with customers, not even when you're marked by age and characterized by the stubbornness of old age. I'm glad to have had a good parental home (not everyone is blessed with that, as I discovered) and therefore haven't lost my composure. At Hans im Glück we were welcomed beaming with joy 10 minutes later and a cocktail and encouraging words from the boss absolutely saved the evening!!! Conclusion: Never again!!!

We have been customers for decades and have been visiting the steakhouse since it was located opposite the Maritim Hotel. We are always very, very satisfied and always look forward to the new visit! The sauces are homemade, especially the BBQ is gigantic! In any case, always an experience and a great visit!

Simply fabulous!!! A historic house with a very cozy and successful atmosphere. The owners are very friendly and accommodating and the meat is top notch. There is an appropriate amount of meat for every hunger. Can simply recommend it! 😊

In short: Highly recommended!! The rib-eye steak was well grilled, super tender and also tasted great. The fillet on the hot stone was also very tasty. Although I don't normally like barbecue sauce, I enjoyed this one myself. The service from the owners was also very nice and attentive. I would definitely recommend the rib eye before the hot stone, but that's a matter of taste.

Everything went well and the food was excellent! Gladly again! 😁

Die Fleischqualität ist überragend. Der Service hingegen unterirdisch. Blanke Überforderung beim Besitzer gepaart mit Kaltschnäutzigkeit und Unhöflichkeit. Wer sich davon nicht abschrecken lässt, wird aber zufrieden sein

Sehr schönes Steak Haus 🏡 wo Mann einen noch Herzlichst empfängt. Das Essen war tatenlos der Service war sehr gut wobei man den Anschein hatte das dieser etwas überfordert war. Trotzdem es war ein schöner Abend. Kann ich wärmstens empfehlen.

Das ist Erlebnisgastronomie im wirklichen Sinne! Unglaublich gutes Essen in liebevollem Ambiente. Wenn man dann noch das Glück hat, vom Gastgeber einen Einblick in das historische Gebäude und die verwendeten Gestaltungselemente zu bekommen, hat man einen perfekten Abend gehabt! Lohnt sich unbeding! Danke für diese wunderbare Auszeit!

Das Fleisch ist spitzenklasse. Das Steak brät man selbst auf einem heißen Stein, was ein echtes Happening ist. Man spürt, mit wie viel Leidenschaft die Inhaber ihr Restaurant betreiben.

Nach vielen Jahren waren wir wieder zu Besuch im Tilmans und es war wie immer fantastisch. Nicht nur, dass wir nach so langer Zeit wieder erkannt wurden, sondern dass sich sowohl Qualität auch als Preise des Essens nicht verändert haben, hat uns sehr überrascht. Wir kommen immer wieder gerne vorbei und freuen uns schon sehr auf den nächsten Besuch.

Das Ambiente war sehr nett, wie in einem Kunstmuseum aus dem späten Mittelalter. Das einskalte Bier und das Stück Fleisch auf der Steinplatte war lecker. Soßen waren nicht nötig. Kartoffelpürree und Prinzessinenbohnen, etwas Salz und Pfeffer. Einfaches, aber gediegenes Essen. Vielleicht könnte man sich beim nächsten Mal zu zweit ein großes Stück Filet teilen. Man sollte sich unbedingt den „Keller“ anschauen und die antiquarischen Hirschgeweihe an der Decke genau ansehen.

Die negativen Bewertungen kann ich nicht nachvollziehen. Hier gibt es Steak auf dem heißen Stein. Punkt. Ja, der Wirt sitzt die.meiste Zeit an einem tisch .na und? Er ist nicht mehr der jüngste aber er lebt für sas was er tut. Familiäre Atmosphäre, kein schicki micki, einfach richtig gutes Fleisch. Kleines Restaurant mit einem ruhigen und entspannten Ambiente. Klar kostet es hier ein bisschen was. Bin spontan rein und habe es nicht bereut. Vielleicht wäre es gut wenn das fleisch nicht direkt auf dem Stein serviert wird, sondern auf einem.separaten teller. Aber such nur vielleicht, weil der stein ja auch an Temperatur verliert und das Fleisch dann vielleicht nicht mehr gar genug wird..wie auch immer. Toller Service der sich wirklich für die Meinung des Gastes interessiert und auch mal.ein bisschen erzählt. Ich würde wieder hingehen.

Sorry aber war sehr enttäuschend. Warum? Der Reihe nach - Telefonisch reserviert, unser Wunsch war 18 Uhr. Antwort, sorry erst ab 19 Uhr...vorher kein Tisch frei. Kommen also um 19 Uhr an und sind die ersten Gäste...also das ganze Lokal ist leer! Auf Rückfrage wieso dann kein Tisch um 18 Uhr möglich war, ja dazu kann man jetzt nichts sagen. - Holzkohle Grill kaputt...kann passieren aber dann wäre eine Info schön gewesen. So wie wir mehrfach bei der Reservierung gebeten wurden, sollte was dazwischen kommen, bitte unbedingt absagen. So gab es nur heißen Stein. Und sorry, aber wenn ich in ein Steakhaus gehe, dann will ich nicht selber am Tisch kochen... - Qualität der Beilagen war lala...zumindest aber nicht den aufgerufen Preis wert. Hingegen war die Fleischqualität nicht zu beanstanden. Daher auch zwei Sterne. - Service war ganz ok aber mehr auch nicht...hatten zu fünft eine Rechnung über 400 Euro und nicht mal ein Kaffee oder Schnaps aufs Haus bekommen..so als kleines Schmankerl ob der Vorgeschichte.

Es war der tollste Abend seit Jahren! Super gutes Fleisch und immer ein offenes Ohr beim Gast!!! Ihr seit einfach super!!!

Das Fleisch ist gut, der Preis ebenso. Schade...kein Teller zum Scheiden des Fleisches, das gibt es anderswo...Ambiente etwas rustikal...eher Gaststätten Atmosphäre...

樸實無華的燒烤，將肉放在熱燙的石頭上，份量很大，兒童餐220克，成人350/500克。如果喜歡原汁原味的超大塊牛肉，那麼您來對地方了，如果喜愛美味醬汁的那麼您會失望，沙拉，薯條，要另外付費，但質量不差，酒的選擇極少，紅酒完全沒有法國產品。

Очень атмосферное место ,нам очень понравилось.Мы как будто ужинали в замке и нам подавали вкуснейшее нежное мясо на раскаленном камне К мясу посоветовали взять вино ,оно тоже было прекрасное Цены немного кусаются ,в среднем ужин на двоих вам обойдется около 100 € Рекомендую ,если ищите стейк 🥩хаус -этому ставлю 5 звезд

Sehr gutes Steak, das auf heißem Stein serviert wird. Die Gaststätte ist ziemlich klein, so sollte man versuchen zu bestellen. Wir zwei hatten Glück und bekamen ohne Reservierung ein Plätzchen. Der Steak-Geruch hing im kompletten Gastraum. Eine Belüftung wäre ratsam. Unsere Sachen wanderten direkt in die Wäsche. Vom Essen her war es wirklich ein Gaumenschmaus. Der Geldbeutel sollte jedoch gut gefüllt sein, wenn man sich für einem Besuch entscheidet.

Tolles Restaurant! Das Essen war sehr lecker und der Service war super. Ich kann das Restaurant weiterempfehlen.

Ihr Motto"Esse weniger Fleisch dafür Gutes" und das kann ich nur bestätigen, einen kulinarische Fleisch Erlebnis die man in der älteste Steckhaus Deutschland gemacht haben muss. 5 Sterne sind Zuwenig

Nach langem Vergleich unserer Meinung nach das beste und qualitativste Fleisch in Würzburg. Wird teilweise auf dem heißen Stein serviert, super gewürzt, leckere Dips. Die Beilagen sind allesamt auf den Punkt zubereitet! Ganz großes Lob!

Passendes Ambiente in gedämpftem Licht. Für ein Steakhaus wenig Auswahl aber gute Qualität. Die Inhaber sind allerdings nicht mehr zeitgemäß. Sich in den Himmel loben und andere schlecht machen ist nicht die feine Art. Service und Gesprächsführung ist wohl in den 80igern stehen geblieben, schade! Das beste Steak, das ich jemals hatte. Das Filet vom heißen Stein ist einmalig zart und von höchster Prime Beef Qualität. Sehr besondere Location mit entspannter Atmosphäre. Direkt den nächsten Besuch reserviert. Echter Geheimtipp.

Sehr schönes Restaurant, sehr nettes Personal. Wir fahren 116 km um dort zu essen, mein Sohn und ich sind begeistert!!!! Mein Sohn würde öfters dort essen gehen, wenn es nur nicht so weit wäre.
