Overall impression: 10/10! The ambiance is modern, rustic, yet cozy. The food was terrific; even the vegan burger was excellent for a beef burger! The service was always attentive, friendly, and fast, even despite the full house. Maja was an excellent server, and the bartender knows how to make drinks. Definitely recommended.

The service was extremely good. Everyone who worked there was extremely courteous, helpful, and service-oriented. Everyone was welcomed with a glass of sparkling wine. The steak was first-class. I'm used to Hanover prices, and for steaks of this type, everything was very reasonably priced. A 250g rump steak from Argentina for €25. Fantastic! Grilled at 800°C, the meat arrived with a juicy pink interior and a crispy, dark exterior. Furthermore, all the waiters were very charming and extremely friendly. We felt extremely comfortable.

Never again! 🙅🏽‍♀️ I've been to this restaurant myself for the fourth time in the last five years, always more than thrilled, and this will definitely be the last! 🙃 The only positive thing to say: the service was good, the waitress was friendly, our order was taken promptly, and the drinks came quickly (but it was also very quiet). About the food: There were two of us. I ordered a Black Angus fillet. When ordering, I REQUESTED that I would like it "well done." The menu states that customers can, of course, decide how they would like their meat cooked. Due to health risks, it had to be cooked thoroughly. The food arrived... the meat was cooked "medium" after cutting it. We asked the waitress if it could be returned to the kitchen. The kitchen in this restaurant is open, so you can see what's going on. The chefs rolled their eyes in annoyance. One of them picked up the meat from the plate with his bare fingers and threw it back on the grill... The plate came back, this time a new plate with a chipped corner and nothing on it. The herb butter was just butter with a bit of green, tasteless. The price-performance ratio wasn't justified... With that in mind: Enjoy your meal and never again! 👎🏼

So, in a steak restaurant that gives off an upscale impression, I don't expect a lady to constantly clean the toilet while you go to the bathroom. You'd assume that there'd be at least a modicum of privacy in the restroom. But I wouldn't have expected that during my entire stay and multiple visits to the toilet, a lady would clean every single time I went to the bathroom. If only everything were perfect, but unfortunately not. It makes you wonder what exactly is being cleaned for so long and constantly. Not to mention the change tray by the door. Don't you pay your cleaning staff well enough? Not a good impression; that's what I expect in a nightclub or kebab shop.

Completely overhyped location. By far the worst service I've ever experienced. Unfortunately, you can't give this place negative stars! Side dishes were lukewarm; I had to reorder two more, which finally arrived after 20 minutes, also lukewarm, upon request! The meat wasn't particularly tasty, which justifies a total price of over €40 for a meal. I certainly won't be seeing you here again! So, 5x 👎👎👎👎👎

What can I say, it's pretty much always the same at Beef 800. At first everything goes relatively quickly. At least until the first food arrives. The flat rate for side dishes is great in theory, especially if you order and share different sides. However, you usually have to wait at least 15 minutes for a refill, and sometimes more than half an hour. By then everything is either eaten or cold. Then I don't need any more coleslaw or fries. The problem with the long waits at the end actually exists for everything else, even for main courses, if you've had a round of starters, and for drinks. As soon as your table is served, you feel like you've been forgotten for a while, even if it's not busy. The food itself is actually always very good and the service is very friendly and accommodating, if sometimes a little awkward.

Unfortunately, a thoroughly disappointing visit. It started right at the reception: The guests in front of us received a glass of sparkling wine, as did a group of eight after us – but we were ignored. The outside seating was uncomfortable and not even properly cleaned. After 15 minutes, the drinks finally arrived. The waiter seemed completely overwhelmed, didn't know the menu at all, and was wearing a pizza delivery shirt – that just doesn't fit in a restaurant in this price range. The meal itself was a disaster: The burger was bone dry, a tiny drop of sauce stuck to the top, and otherwise, it had zero flavor. I even had a bone splinter in my patty – absolutely unacceptable! There were four of us, but no one finished their meal because it simply wasn't convincing. Especially considering the high prices. The next low point came when paying: We had to wait 25 minutes for the bill, and the waiter actually asked us, "How much is that?" – completely unprofessional. Conclusion: Terrible service, terrible food, and outrageously expensive. Once, never again.

I can only agree with the other reviewers (unfortunately). We enjoyed eating here together. The food tastes incredibly good, the atmosphere is fantastic, and you feel at home. Unfortunately, as you can see in the picture, it's become more common on our recent visits that you don't get anything. You wait a really long time for the food and drink you ordered. When it arrives, after repeated requests, the burger arrives first, followed by fries 20 minutes later, and then the dip 10 minutes later. The food is sometimes really cold and doesn't arrive at all at the same time, so unfortunately, you can't really eat it all together. It's a real shame, and it will be our last visit for the time being until the owners get these problems under control.

We ordered steak and burgers for mains, would think/hope it being a steak restaurant this would be their speciality….. 2 steaks arrived at the table and were barely warm. There was then a long wait for the other 3 mains for the table, and the sides. When the remainder of the food did finally arrive it was all barely warm; the jacket potato was actually fridge cold, so was returned. The coleslaw was sour (off). All three steaks were served on chipped plates; for a bill of over 200 euro, chipped crockery is hardly what would be expected. Service was ok; one excellent and attentive server, but stretched and other staff not really doing much.

A fantastic location in itself; the view over Würzburg on the Main and the sunset has so much potential! The concept, the selection of dishes, and usually the preparation, are all to be praised. However, the organization is truly a disaster, and has been for years. We've often been there more than 30 times, and I think there was only one day when we didn't wait longer than 60-130 minutes for our food. The looks of the other guests usually reveal the same thing. Everyone sits at empty tables. The service seems to be running around in circles, nothing comes from the kitchen. We often ask at reception how long it will take, and now they're honest enough to say straight away, "It won't be under an hour," and we look at the annoyed looks of the guests at the empty tables and leave. Often, people arrive at the same table at different times, then another table is served in between. You wait and wait... to get drinks, to be able to order... you're really just waiting. If you really have a lot of time, for example, if you arrive at 7 p.m. and don't mind waiting until 9 p.m. for your meal, and don't mind waiting a long time for your meal, then it's a recommendation. Then you can enjoy the view longer 😄 Overall, however, in terms of value for money, unfortunately, only 3 stars, as you should expect more in this category. Sometimes the food comes cold, the steak medium-well even though you ordered something else... but I think that's the result of the aforementioned poor organization. I would actually prefer to go to the Locanda if you can live without steak. You save a lot of money and, above all, a lot of stress, while getting the same view and a nice atmosphere. (Unfortunately, it's often extremely crowded with endless lines on nice days, so there's hardly any chance of a spontaneous visit.)

When it comes to steak, the Beef 800 hasn't convinced me yet, but I think the "hot stone" version, which is only available in summer, is fantastic! What makes it so special, in my opinion: The stone is divided into two segments: one for grilling and one for keeping warm and cooking afterward! Add a few nice sauces, and you can have the steak just the way you like it. The whole thing is quite expensive, but if the meat quality is right, you can definitely do it. The service is excellent, and the ambiance on the Main River is even more so!

We had quite high expectations for the steakhouse – good reviews and a full dining room gave us hope for a pleasant evening. Unfortunately, we were (somewhat) disappointed. Right from the start, we had to wait quite a while before anyone even greeted us, while several waiters simply walked by (without so much as a "hello" or anything else). While we were greeted with a glass of sparkling wine (a nice and pleasant gesture), it unfortunately tasted stale. The wait to order was quite long. While the drinks arrived quickly, and most of the food did too – however, one burger was forgotten and later prepared in such a hurry that the meat was still raw in many places. The staff didn't ask any questions, nor did they react appropriately, which we found very disappointing :/ The skin on the mayonnaise also didn't make a good impression. Positive points to mention were the free reordering of fries and the pleasant outdoor seating. Overall, the visit unfortunately didn't meet our expectations – we probably won't be coming back. We dined in the lovely outdoor area today on a summer evening, but were unfortunately very disappointed. - The side dishes for the lukewarm steak were served 5 minutes later than the steak itself. - The bacon beans arrived cold (!) after a long wait. - Repeat orders for the all-you-can-eat menu were taken but not brought to the table. - Last but not least, the waiter, who was actually very helpful, then presented us with the wrong bill. Since we were dissatisfied for the second time, we unfortunately cannot recommend the restaurant.

Our visit was very disappointing. The appetizer portion was significantly smaller than last year (more than half) – completely disproportionate to the price and poorly presented. When we mentioned this to the staff, they simply replied that it was a mistake by the kitchen – and offered no apology. The atmosphere was beyond unpleasant – we could hear a lot of discontent and loud grumbling from the staff in the open kitchen. The service seemed totally chaotic and disorganized, the wait times were long, and the food tasted, unfortunately, only average. The new server was nevertheless very friendly and attentive. Overall, it wasn't a great experience. It's a shame, because the location is promising.

We stumbled upon this steakhouse by chance. The location is really beautiful, right on the water. We received a friendly welcome and were immediately offered a free glass of Prosecco. They had an anniversary yesterday. The decor is very nice. The style is simply different. The waiters are super friendly and on top of their game. We had the platter for two yesterday. I have to say, we've rarely had such good meat and such excellent preparation in a steakhouse. Above all, the platter was really generous. The next time we take a trip to Würzburg, we'll definitely go back. Another visit is a must. Oh, and I can't understand the previous review.

A few weeks ago, we were privileged to spend a wonderful evening at Beef 800° – and as promised, I'd now like to finally share my impressions. The welcome was exceptionally warm: To shorten the short wait for our table, we were greeted with a glass of sparkling wine and a pleasant conversation by Marvin. Just a few minutes later, he led us to our seats – right on the banks of the Main. His wine recommendation was also a real highlight: Tobias Nagel – Amore Mio. A real hit! So delicious that this wine will now have a permanent place in our wine selection. The entire evening ran smoothly. The service was consistently attentive, friendly, and professional. Kudos to Marvin, Alex, Eyla, and Salginio (I hope I remembered their names correctly) – you made our visit a true experience. Our every wish was fulfilled. The food? Simply outstanding! The meat was cooked to perfection, and the flat-rate side dishes left nothing to be desired. The atmosphere at Beef 800° was the absolute icing on the cake for me and my Würzburg visitors – lively, relaxed, and with palpable joy from both guests and hosts. René, you have a fantastic team at your side. You can feel the passion they put into their work. We'll definitely be back – and until then, we'll be happy to tell others about this thoroughly successful evening!

We waited over 30 minutes for a bottle of beer, and the food wasn't served at the same time, so the first people to arrive had finished before others at the table had even gotten their food. The staff were more or less friendly and generally seemed overwhelmed and incompetent. Admittedly, it was very busy that day, but the service is still unacceptable for the price. On top of that, other guests who arrived after us were served before us. So, overall, the service was disastrous. The rest of the food, however, was great.

On June 19, 2025, we ordered from Beef800 via Lieferrando and received the "food" as described. (See pictures). After we called and explained the situation, the gentleman on the phone told us that he might be able to give us a drink voucher (redeemable only at the restaurant) as compensation. More than half of it was inedible. He also mentioned that it wasn't common practice to have food delivered by bicycle courier. That's true, it's stupid, especially when it's so poorly packaged. But why do the restaurant staff then hand over the delivery to the bicycle courier? Well, then we were offered a voucher for a main course, which we were supposed to receive by mail, because it would supposedly take far too long to get a refund from Lieferrando. To date, no voucher has arrived, and we've wasted almost €40. Just don't order from them. Customer satisfaction is a low priority here.

We had an all-around successful visit to Beef 800°. The restaurant has a very well-kept and modern feel. The atmosphere is pleasant – stylish, but not overly so – and you immediately feel at home. The quality of the ingredients is immediately noticeable. A particularly positive aspect: The menu is clear but well-thought-out – everyone will find something to suit their taste. An unforgettable evening thanks to Maja! We had a special occasion to celebrate – and beef800 was the perfect choice. The food was fantastic, every dish prepared to perfection. But what truly made this evening unforgettable was Maja's loving service. We were immediately captivated by her warm, attentive, yet professional manner. A service disaster and a total culinary failure – never again! After three visits in the last few years, we're certain: beef800 is no longer a recommendation – quite the opposite. What once started as an ambitious steakhouse has now degenerated into an embarrassing imitation of its former self. We're shocked at how low the standards have sunk. ❌ Despite a reservation: No table, no reception, no interest Even though we had a reservation, we stood around for 15 minutes, ignored and without any instructions. Three-quarters of the outdoor area was empty – but no one felt responsible. No "hello," no "we'll take care of it right away," simply nothing. This isn't a rocky start – it's simply disrespectful. ❌ Absolutely overwhelmed service – 3 hours of frustration instead of enjoyment We spent a total of 3 hours there – not because we wanted a long dinner, but because nothing worked: • 30 minutes until the first drink order • Another 30 minutes before anyone even asked for food • Then another hour of waiting until the food arrived The result: • Side dishes arrived 15 minutes after the meat – so they were eaten cold or left without anything • Burger completely oversalted, inedible • My Angus fillet (ordered English) arrived thoroughly cooked, dry, and without any seasoning • No feedback, no apology – just served and we moved on ❌ Organization like a chaotic operation The biggest joke: The bill was calculated using a calculator, and they were overcharged. Several times. We had to do the math ourselves because the staff had no overview. The fact that guests had to help each other with cutlery and condiments speaks for itself – an absolute state of emergency, and apparently not for the first time. ❌ Inexperienced staff – no training, no concept You get the feeling there are only a handful of overwhelmed temporary workers or students left here, with no training or clear procedures. It's unfair to blame the service staff alone – they tried hard, but were clearly overwhelmed. The responsibility clearly lies with management, who are either cutting costs or completely neglecting the business. ⸻ ⚠️ Our conclusion: Beef800 is no longer sustainable. What was delivered here is a mixture of gastronomic failure, management incompetence, and blatant indifference. Anyone who wants good meat, reliable service, and a modicum of professionalism should steer clear of this place. For us, that's it – for good.

The ambience was very nice but for a menu in this price range the food was a disgrace! The steak was cold and the actually tender steak was very tough! The 250g burger was the same size as the 125g burger! The flat rate fries were not brought out after the second order! The chateau had been in the kitchen for so long that a skin formed on it and when we asked if we could have a new one, it was stirred and put back on the table (skin was now floating in the chateau)! The drinks took ages. Service was very nice but after 100 times apologizing and being offered free dessert (which we never got) we had enough and moved on. So if you have a lot of money for something like that, fine, the rest of you should think about it.

Must have been having a bad day. Everything took forever. One burger came out of the kitchen with NO meat, then two more times it came raw. Instead of a flank steak, they brought a sirloin steak. Billing issues...a wasted evening. The service was trying, but the kitchen couldn't get it right. And the boss didn't show up after so many faux pas. They gave me a round of espresso on the house. For that price, they expect better quality and better service.

The advertised flat rate for side dishes, although announced when ordering, didn't work until the end—despite repeated reminders. There was only one portion, which is normally enough for one person, and no refills were offered. The salmon was not boned. Empty glasses, appetizer plates, and neighboring tables were not cleared. Waiters were frequently out of service. It's a real shame, as it's actually a lovely location.

Seven of us came based on a recommendation. I was perfectly fine when we were told that our server was on his first day and was having trouble finding the items on the menu. Everyone has their first day, and we all know it's not easy. We ordered two butcher platters with various side dishes and a burger. It was a Wednesday evening and not very busy. After about an hour, the food arrived. The food was on the table, but unfortunately, the plates and cutlery were missing. Okay, first day in service. Then the ordered sauces were missing. Then some of the sauces arrived. Since we were sitting outside, the food was only moderately warm by the time we finally started eating. About the food: Yes, you can argue about whether the meat should be seasoned or whether you season it yourself. If you season it yourself, then a steak restaurant should have (good) salt and pepper mills available. Here, we reordered along with drinks, the grinders arrived – unfortunately empty, and the drinks didn't arrive at all. With the butcher platters, the kitchen decides what goes on them. We were aware of that. The platter looked good, but unfortunately, it simply wasn't worth the €88 per platter. Even our friends, who were so enthusiastic last time, just shook their heads. Well, tough luck, I guess. I like the idea of ​​keeping a small side dish and reordering for free. Too much often gets thrown away otherwise. But if I use this system, someone should be available. Reordering wasn't possible because no one else came. And eating the side dishes after the meat, no, that wasn't what we had in mind. The burgers were okay, and the truffle mash was also delicious. When the table was cleared, we gave our feedback. Yes, he understands, and he passes it on to the kitchen. If a new server receives feedback that something (service and cuisine) wasn't up to scratch, I, as a guest, expect someone else to come along and respond to the feedback (and I don't mean, and I don't expect, a free drink or something like that). A simple "yes," we heard, "thank you." But the feedback apparently went unheard. The crème brûlée we ordered for dessert was good and we can recommend it. Our conclusion: If you're expecting a good steakhouse, you'll be disappointed. If you want to sit right on the Main River in nice weather, with a fantastic view of the fortress, and eat a burger, you'll definitely get your money's worth.

So we went to the terrace on a holiday. The table was half full and the waiter told us to sit in the occupied area. The other half was completely empty but we weren't allowed to sit. We waited for a card for a few minutes and were also approached by two waiters who had let us in to sit. Afterwards we got a card and went to the toilet. The toilet was disgusting, really disgusting. I spoke to the nice lady who was cleaning the toilet and she took care of it straight away. She was very nice and 10 minutes later I sat back down at my table. Waiters were smoking and walking around but nobody served us. I told my family to get up and they left. In conclusion, it was very unprofessional and a shame as the building looks idyllic and very beautiful. I would just like to mention that it is not the employees' fault, none of them, the boss alone is to blame for allowing this to happen. Bye and not see you soon.

Unfortunately we were very disappointed with the burgers... my patty was completely burnt, when I pointed this out they reacted very kindly and brought a new one very quickly - a clear plus point for the service. Unfortunately it was so raw in the middle that I couldn't eat it because of my pregnancy. I was simply too embarrassed to send it back, so I ate a little bit around the outside and otherwise ate my fill of fries. Perhaps it's necessary to specifically mention that if you want your meat (at least somewhat) cooked but not black... unfortunately for us it was overall disappointing for a place that has meat as its "main focus". My husband's pulled pork burger had so much sauce on it that you couldn't taste anything else. Maybe just a matter of taste, but certainly not our taste. We wouldn't order burgers here again.

A lovely place to eat; service was quick and very courteous. We were also offered a complimentary champagne welcome. We had the Caesar fillet for starters; the dressing was delicious and the fillet tips were cooked medium-rare. Unfortunately, some of the lettuce leaves were a bit too large. The New York rumps we ordered were grilled to perfection, as we requested. The coleslaw salad, on the other hand, was a bit bland. For dessert, we had the creme brulee, which must have been sitting for a while before being served, as the caramel coating was already starting to soften. We'd happily return for the starters and the steaks.

Unfortunately I can only give one star for last night's Beef 800 :( The service staff tried hard, but couldn't cope with the large number of guests. We weren't asked whether we wanted a second drink throughout the entire evening, let alone were we able to order something more. Advertising with a “flat rate” is therefore a real farce! Overall, the food has also lost quality. The meat on both burgers was overcooked and dry. But charging almost €15 for two ungarnished, cold pieces of goat cheese with three lettuce leaves in the middle is simply an absolute disgrace! Due to the service, the food was unfortunately cold when it was finally brought to our table after minutes under the heat lamp. After being told that the fries were cold and soggy, we were told to get new ones - we ended up getting them ourselves in the kitchen because otherwise the game would have started all over again. The situation was similar when it came to paying. After no one came to the table for an eternity, my husband went straight to the waitress so we could finally leave. It's a shame, but the restaurant won't see us anymore!

When we entered the restaurant, a young man was talking on the phone at the entrance and a young woman was playing on the computer. Neither of them paid us any attention. After a while of ignoring both of them - especially the man on the phone - we tried to find a table on our own.
