Beef 800° - Grill & Bar - Steakhaus Würzburg in Würzburg

Very tasty, but at least the burgers are quite small. The beer isn't the best in the region, but it's anything but bad. Sides can be ordered at will, and the service is very friendly. The atmosphere, right on the Main River, is also very nice, especially in the evenings. It's definitely worth recommending, but I think the steaks are better than the burgers.

The food was okay 😂 I ordered mushroom cream sauce, but I got some kind of lump of mushroom soup or something. I've never experienced that before, in real life 😂 The steak was 4/5, quite nice! The service was super friendly—almost too friendly... The atmosphere inside was terrible, but outside was great.

Unfortunately I can only give one star for last night's Beef 800 :( The service staff tried hard, but couldn't cope with the large number of guests. We weren't asked whether we wanted a second drink throughout the entire evening, let alone were we able to order something more. Advertising with a “flat rate” is therefore a real farce! Overall, the food has also lost quality. The meat on both burgers was overcooked and dry. But charging almost €15 for two ungarnished, cold pieces of goat cheese with three lettuce leaves in the middle is simply an absolute disgrace! Due to the service, the food was unfortunately cold when it was finally brought to our table after minutes under the heat lamp. After being told that the fries were cold and soggy, we were told to get new ones - we ended up getting them ourselves in the kitchen because otherwise the game would have started all over again. The situation was similar when it came to paying. After no one came to the table for an eternity, my husband went straight to the waitress so we could finally leave. It's a shame, but the restaurant won't see us anymore!

Beef 800 is a very good restaurant. I had the roast beef carpaccio as a starter and the The Rock Burger with the Beef 800 fries as my main course. In total the meal cost €37.40. We sat outside, right on the Main, it was very cozy and quiet.

After a great day in Würzburg, we ate at beef for the first time with our two daughters and our dog. What can we say: the reception and service were extremely friendly and the food was excellent. There is also very good food for vegans/vegetarians. We'd love to come back!

You are welcomed very warmly and also receive a welcome drink. The food was very high quality, tasty and the staff was attentive and friendly. The next time we visit Würzburg, we will definitely eat at Beef again😊. Highly recommended.

I would really like to not give a star. We were there at 6:00 p.m. and wanted to have dinner as visitors to this city. When we entered the restaurant, a young man was talking on the phone at the entrance and a young woman was playing on the computer. Neither of them paid us any attention. After a while of ignoring both of them - especially the man on the phone - we tried to find a table on our own. The young man's reaction I quote: "Eh, I'll show you the table" and continued on the phone. So if he is not the owner of this restaurant, that is very rude to guests. We come from Berlin. You're used to a lot of things there, but we haven't had anything like this before. But ok, if you don't want our money...

The food was great, steak as ordered, small salad also delicious. The fries (sweet and normal) were not always seasoned identically. In our opinion, the service was not ideal. We had to wait a long time until our pre-ordered table was ready. Then we weren't allowed to order drinks and food together, he would come right back when the drinks were there. Some of our drinks were already half empty when we were able to order food. It took a good 45 minutes until everything was there. We also had to take care of the flat rate reorders, no one comes to see us as a precaution. We also had to request drinks ourselves. Actually, it would be a quick win to take the flat rate reorders and at the same time query everyone's drinks. We skipped dessert because we were tired and no one wanted to wait another 39 minutes. We were there for easily 2.5 hours without any need. This could all have been finished in 1.5 hours. Overall impression: there wasn't really any interest in customers here, even though there weren't that many customers there. My personal highlight was that we asked for the bill and the colleague calmly cleared the entire table, which meant he had to go twice and he also cleared the next table. Even all without necessity. Let the people pay and leave; we can then take care of the rest in peace. I didn't like it, the steak can be as tasty as it wants. I wanted to have dinner and not make it a full evening event.

We had burgers and felt that the high price was not justified for the quality of the burgers. The service wasn't the fastest either, just the ambience outside was okay.

2 of the group ate cold, otherwise OK, the fries for €4.90 were a small mini container. Theoretically, they should be refilled for free, but it's no use if you ask three times and it takes 20 minutes. Service just doesn't fit here!

It was a pleasant and cozy evening in a great location. The slightly longer waiting time was communicated in advance, which was ultimately fine with us, and compensated for with a glass of champagne on the house. The steak and side dishes were very tasty. Unfortunately, I was quite disappointed with my visit to this restaurant. The first impression promises a lot. You enter the restaurant and are warmly greeted. A chic and welcoming style of furnishings and ambience. You are immediately confronted with meat variations from the entrance to the seat. But unfortunately the food itself was less impressive. The prices aren't crazy, but they're not unreasonable either when I compare them to similar places I know. You also pay for the location and the image, you have to be aware of that. However, more would have been expected if you tried to pursue an image like this restaurant does. Unfortunately, the burger patty was very, very dry and completely cooked through. That was the case with two burgers. In addition, the taste of a sauce was somewhat present, but hardly noticeable. Unfortunately, both burgers weren't very enjoyable. They tasted really good, but unfortunately they were completely dry. The salad was also rather disappointing in terms of taste. The service was largely non-existent. You were seated at a table, the food you ordered was brought to you after a long time and you were paid for it. I missed the personal contact between service and customers, which makes the visit more friendly. There were no questions about how the food was, not even in between, and instead the payment was made quite quickly. So I didn't even have the opportunity to speak and describe my impression of the food. I won't recommend this restaurant and I probably won't eat there again for the time being.

The strength of the restaurant is definitely the ambience, tasteful and high quality - The non-alcoholic cocktails could not be expanded

Unfortunately, I was probably unlucky in the restaurant today. I ordered a flank steak medium and it arrived completely done. I complained about it and the second one was more like medium rare and took a long time to arrive. I then started eating when everyone else was finished. In addition, the side dishes were only brought when we were finished eating. It's a shame...even if it can happen, for the price it shouldn't happen.

A great selection of delicious steaks and burgers. If you love good meat in a fine and stylish setting, this is the place to go. However, the wait times are quite long, and the service could be a bit more customer-oriented. Prices are on the high side, but the quality is top-notch.

The food was wonderful but the service was unfortunately very slow. The restaurant was very well structured but each order or wait took between 20 and 30 minutes. The food was delicious but not worth the wait. I saw several people leaving, I don't know if it's always like this but it was my first time and I had this unfortunate experience.

The place was reserved for 7:30 p.m. and you were then sat at the bar for 40 minutes to wait for your place... then you asked why you made the reservation. I understand that a place isn't available immediately, but I still found the waiting time too long. You also had to wait a long time for food and drinks because there was a lot going on. The conditions were all very friendly and nice. The visit was the 2nd and confirmed the long waiting times from the first time. Probably more recommended during the week than on the weekend. Nonetheless, the food was very tasty.

Unfortunately after 1 hour there were no drinks or food waiting. 3 of us had reserved! After asking 3 times and no answer, we left.

There's nothing to complain about! We had reserved for Friday evening at 5:30 p.m. and got our table straight away. When the drinks were brought we ordered our food. The steaks with 3 side dishes (fries, potato truffle puree, bacon beans) arrived after about 10 minutes. The side dishes were reordered (-> flat rate) and were at the table within a few minutes. Since it was only just after 6 p.m., we took our time and left the restaurant around 6:30 p.m. Everything was great: the food, the speed and the service!

We came here with very high expectations, but unfortunately these were only partially met. First we were picked up at the entrance by a friendly employee and greeted with a welcome drink. She then took us to our place. First of all, the drinks were ordered from another employee who seemed very listless and very young. There was no friendliness or motivation. Unfortunately the beer we wanted was no longer available, and a light one from Würzburger Hofbräu was offered as an alternative. When this arrived, we unfortunately discovered that the glass was filled well below the calibration mark. Unfortunately it wasn't possible to discuss the whole thing because the waitress then felt like she was no longer available. So the beer was drunk like that and it was noticed that it tasted very stale. It may have been tapped for a while. When the waitress came back after a slightly longer wait to take our food order, we ordered two steaks with two side dishes. Unfortunately, the employee couldn't really advise on the selection because she didn't seem to have much knowledge about the steaks. Very unfortunate. We both ordered the steaks medium rare. When they arrived after a long wait, we were initially thrilled by the presentation, but that subsided somewhat after we cut the steak. In our opinion, one steak was medium rare, while the other was rather rare. The medium rare steak wasn't a problem for us, so we only called the waitress to complain about the rare steak. When this was finally within our grasp, we spoke to her about it. There was a small discussion about whether the steak was medium rare or rare. I've eaten a lot of steaks and this was definitely not medium rare. Instead of simply offering to put it on the grill again, the discussion continued until the offer came. When it came to the other steak, she admitted that it was already medium rare, but that was okay for us in that case. When the steak came back after what felt like an eternity, they forgot to bring back the barbecue sauce. After what felt like an eternity the waitress came by again, this was brought up and a new one was brought. It's a bit cheaper here than in other steakhouses, but in my opinion these are things that don't work and simply detract from the overall experience. This restaurant also has a system where you can order the side dishes as often as you like, which we generally thought was cool. Unfortunately, it promises more than is possible because, as I said, the waiters are sometimes very difficult to reach or almost impossible to see. In addition, as you might know from the USA, when the bowl is empty you are not asked if you would like anything else, but you have to ask yourself. Overall, I would give the store another chance, but we weren't really convinced. Second visit on 02/20/25: Service was more professional this time, but there were still the same long waiting times with few guests. The bad thing is: again the cooking points were not adhered to... Sorry, that's the be-all and end-all of a restaurant that has BEEF in its name. Ordered steak medium, received medium rare to rare... Ordered burger medium and got it. Furthermore, blackcurrant spritzer has almost no to no carbonation… It remains at 3 stars and I don't think we will come back in the future. Too bad.

Nice location. Pleasant lighting and seating arrangement. Had the Vitello Tonato as a starter. Then 2 large fillet steaks with side dishes and sauces. The meat was so good that we didn't need any sauce. They were due with the fries. Very pleasant service. Absolutely right in terms of price. Oh yes, the red wine was perfect with the fillet

Last Friday we had dinner at Beef800. The service was atrocious, with people awkwardly intruding on conversations and making inappropriate comments. In addition, the wrong food was brought and many things were mixed up. The doneness of the steaks was wrong and the beef tartare was anything but fine. Not recommended.

I don't need to go there anymore just because of the ambience. The food took almost an hour to arrive. The steaks were disappointing. The service could be greatly improved. In summary: I have rarely waited so long for drinks and food in such an appealing atmosphere only to be disappointed. Price and quality don't match at all.

The restaurant is really nice in terms of decor. However, people sit very close together, the store is simply too small. Okay, maybe it was because it was a Saturday night. About the food: The steak was ok and tasty. The side dishes were also quite good. The positive thing is that you can reorder the side dishes as often as you like once you have ordered them. The service was friendly and accommodating, but unfortunately there was a long wait for repeat orders. Another problem is that the vessels in which chips, mushrooms or other side dishes are served are quite small. This forces you to reorder more often, which is made even more unpleasant by the long waiting times. Conclusion: The restaurant is okay, but I expect better service, especially when it comes to repeat orders.

It started when we showed up on time for the reservation and had to wait 10 minutes at the bar until we could get to the table (but at least I got a small champagne in return). We actually wanted to eat dryaged steak but there were only three pieces left that weighed over 1.2 kilos and cost upwards of €150. Accordingly, we had to order other steaks (which we didn't actually come for). We then ordered and received the steaks, but unfortunately the fries only arrived a few minutes later. They have a fries flat rate where you can eat as many fries as you want. A good idea in itself, but unfortunately we ate all the fries and waited for the next fries until the (expensive) steaks were cold. Unfortunately the service wasn't available for a relatively long time so we ate the cold steaks. At some point fries came again but the cold steak was already gone because I was too hungry. The steaks were very good but unfortunately half of them were cold and without fries. All in all, we won't go there again because, despite the high price, the service and process weren't right. What a pity about the good meat!

Nice ambience, meager portions at steep prices. Side dishes of fries served in a 0.3l glass for €5... Ordered 250g fillet that was significantly smaller than the usual 250g. Service also underwhelming.

Unfortunately I can't say anything about the food and ambience, as it never came to that. I wrote two emails to the restaurant with questions about a voucher/gift or therefore a reservation. I received no response to either email, but I received my requested read receipt back. Since the restaurant doesn't seem to need it, I turned to a place that likes to welcome guests and appreciates service!

I ordered the house specialty, a burger, with a friend. It was the worst I've eaten in my life. The meat was dry and hard. Have fun there. I'll never go there again.

The food was okay, we had the butcher menu and felt that the portion had become smaller. I had eaten the menu before and there was a lot more on it for the price. We had very long waiting times because no one was responsible for us and we were always put off to the next waiter and other tables were treated much better. We then went to the waiter to pay because it just took too long.

I can't rate the food service and ambience, but if you're on the phone for 20 minutes and no one feels responsible for it, then there's either not enough staff on site or people are fed up with orders.....freely according to the motto "enough for today " In any case, I won't be coming here!!!!

This was the worst meal I've ever had for this price. Absolutely mixed meat. The tactical wine list tries to make it seem like a high quality restaurant, but the quality is subpar. A piece of meat costs €40, which is completely normal for me, no problem at all, but this meat challenges even my dentist!

Unfortunately, the quality of the food has decreased and the price-performance ratio has changed for the worse. Away from the front. The steaks and their quality are still top and so are the sides like sweet potato fries. What spoils the overall impression are the other dishes we ate and the starters we couldn't eat because they were no longer available. (3 main starters and both soups on the menu) Goat cheese was carelessly prepared and for almost €15 it was a disappointment. The taste of the ravioli was ok but pretty neutral and the salad dressing was lukewarm. The sweet potato fries about 5 minutes after. Steak was also not ideal. Service was top.

Food is really tasty in itself, cocktails 10/10, side dish too small for the price. Service well, we waited over an hour for our food, the next table was offered bread and then a dessert on the house because of the waiting time and we starved for an hour without such an offer. There was WiFi, but we weren't given the password but were gaslighted with “there is no WiFi” (very bad combination with the waiting time). In the end the waitress miscalculated the change (to our detriment, of course). Tip: Save yourself the 6 euro side dish and order a kebab as a starter for 50 cents more down the street.

I'm currently in Würzburg for work and discovered this interesting steakhouse while exploring the city center. From the outside it made a very great impression on me because of the location. After I visited for the first time today, I was really impressed. I haven't had such a great and delicious burger like this in a long time. I haven't yet discovered a steakhouse in Stuttgart that can keep up with this. You can really taste the quality of the meat and the way it is prepared. The waitress was also really friendly and kept asking if everything was OK, even though she was serving alone at the time. I would choose this steakhouse over Block House and Maredeo every time. I would even go to Würzburg again specifically for that (thanks to the Germany ticket).

The steak with vegetables, the friendly service and the ambience were very good! Unfortunately, the chicken burger isn't the same. In our opinion, a chicken burger doesn't have chicken fillet. Eating with both cutlery and your hands is impossible, the taste doesn't go well with a burger and unfortunately the burger sauce wasn't there either and couldn't get it out. Still 4 stars because the concept is eating steak and not eating burgers. 😃

Disastrous experience in a supposed “upscale restaurant”: Impudence when making a reservation: We were told that if people don't show up, they will be charged 20 euros per person. And then you show up in full and on time - and still have to wait over 1.5 hours for your table. An absolutely outrageous approach! As a “compensation” there was wine and champagne on the house, but only after several follow-ups. At the table: again miserable service. Even though we already knew what we wanted to order, it took another 15 minutes for a waiter to show up and then another 15 minutes for 8 simple drinks, one of which was even forgotten. After several requests, the missing drink arrived. The reason for the forgetting was blame between the waiter and the bartender. The waiting times for eating and serving: another 30 minutes for the order and then another 45 minutes for the food to be served. Were there until half past ten, even though we showed up at 7 p.m. The food: tasted okay, but only lukewarm. However, for the higher prices you expect premium quality. Drinks are expensive (typical in the area), also okay - but with beer: poured below the calibration mark. The overall concept of an alleged luxury restaurant seems inconsistent and immature. You will be treated unkindly in the toilet if you don't put anything in the tip plate - and that in an "upscale" restaurant. Conclusion: Service catastrophic, food mediocre and overpriced, luxury claim definitely not met. We would rather go to the kebab shop because the price-performance and service are better there. Recommendation: Würzburg definitely doesn't need this restaurant - the end is in sight for this service.

Unfortunately we were very disappointed with the restaurant. After waiting an hour until we got a table (despite a reservation), we had to wait another half an hour for drinks. One of the drinks wasn't even taken by the waiter, which meant another 20 minutes of waiting time. For some of us, the food arrived lukewarm to cold and unfortunately the burgers didn't taste like much, the meat was overcooked and seemed like it had been warmed up twice (mind you, a burger without any side dishes costs just under €20 here!!!). The fries were also lukewarm and so was the steak. I have to say that the steak itself tasted excellent, was well fried and the quality of the meat was perfect, so the chef has to be praised. The big problem was simply that every action a waiter took (ordering, new drinks, paying, etc.) took at least 20 minutes, which made the visit extremely nerve-wracking. In addition, there is a lady sitting next to the toilet with a plate on which you are supposed to throw money... (probably for cleaning etc.) which is more than audacious, since you can get here for around €50 per person. Or eat more. In addition, the toilets weren't really clean. You can see what good service means. The people in service were basically nice but unfortunately we won't be going here again.

The price-performance ratio is not right. In detail: Very nice receptionist and super-nice waiter (Max), another lady who brought the steaks was a bit rude, but also nice. Steaks were there very quickly, even before the drinks. The steaks were suitable and well grilled, but sliced ​​too thinly for my taste, one was cut and stringy. But that would have been exchanged without any problem - exemplary reaction of the staff to the criticism! Commendable. I didn't think the quality of the goods was that great, starting with the not so tasty meat. The baked potato was still too hard, but the sour cream was almost liquid. I've usually had better cole slaw. And the white chocolate mousse was either not real, or simply poorly made, too sweet, like it was made from cheap white chocolate - whatever, not good. Just nicely decorated. Conclusion: nice decor, great staff, well grilled, but the quality and taste of the food can clearly be improved. Every blockhouse is of better quality and significantly cheaper. So the price-performance ratio doesn't fit!

We not only experienced a great ambience here, but also the best food and the best service. We ordered a Butcher Block and it was amazing. The steaks were cooked to perfection and tasted very tasty. We would come back and have already recommended the restaurant.

Visit on 10/5/24 Very friendly welcome with a small Prosecco. A lot of wood was used in the furnishings, which creates a very pleasant and authentic ambience. Located directly on the Main. (We imagine outdoor dining in summer would be really nice) In our opinion, the service staff are rather semi-skilled - but they are all very warm, friendly and try hard. Personal opinion: Don't even try to strive for absolute professionalism... but rather appear even more relaxed, fresh and self-confident. Not so shy.) Meat was fried absolutely perfectly. A little dream. When it came to side dishes, we were impressed by ColeSlaw, truffled mashed potatoes and beans with bacon. the sweet potato fries were rather ordinary. The BBQ sauce, however, is exceptionally good. In terms of price: I've eaten much worse for more money. For the great location, the quality... absolutely appropriate. There were two drops of water in the wine... a) Unfortunately no wine list with local wines. What a shame. b) The toilet facilities are generally very pleasant. However, there is a toilet lady sitting in front of it who you hear before you see her... and she obtrusively asks for her fee. An absolute no-go in the restaurant! (Hence the point deduction in service) By the way: It wasn't so clean that it would have been worth a special fee. Bottom line: a great evening. We'll definitely be back.

A tip top restaurant. You feel very comfortable from the first minute. The staff is very accommodating from the first contact to the last. The quality of the food is outstanding. The meat is super tender. The side dishes such as sweet potato fries taste very good. The dessert also blew us away. We can only recommend the restaurant and the food. Go there and enjoy your time.

The three of us were just eating burgers...very expensive and the quality and taste was subpar...the patties were simply grilled to death...no seasoning...simply disappointing

Was there for the 2nd time and this time I was disappointed with the food. The flank steak was really good, just as I wanted it, but the 2 burgers were definitely too well done the first time and the second time they brought new one, one worked and the other was almost raw, even with a lot of activity and a waiting time of 1 hour You get a good burger for the price.

Steak tartar - appetizer ⭐️ Rib-Eye Steak, perfectly cooked, delicious. ⭐️ Atmosphere ⭐️ Service ⭐️ See you again in an evening version! All recommendations!

Couples dinner 100% recommended!

We celebrated our 40th school anniversary with a trip to Würzburg lasting several days. After an evening boat trip on the Main, we wanted to sit down at a non-reserved table in this restaurant with 12 people in the outdoor lighting around 9 p.m. After we had all taken our seats, we were very rudely asked by the waitress that we had to register at the other end. We kindly asked that she please ask if this table was available. This was immediately rejected. Various small tables were empty. Again we were instructed to line up at the so-called registration area, where there was only one person standing. We then completely responded to this arrogance and unfriendliness by leaving the location immediately. Never this location again. Absolute impudence towards the guest.

We didn't get to eat or drink anything: ...we came from the Main promenade to the almost empty beer garden and sat down at a large free table. Which is obviously very unusual in this beer garden. A young waitress quickly came and harshly asked us to go to the entrance on the main street and register there. When we repeatedly asked the boss to ask us whether we could stay seated or whether we had to leave, she simply replied, “No, that’s not possible!” We were not given a plausible explanation! Maybe it was because of our age between 55-68 years!! It couldn't have been because of our group's good looks, outfits or financial resources! The last time I experienced something like that was in 1986 in the GDR, East Berlin. We then preferred to leave the location and spent a beautiful summer evening in the Wirtshaus Lämmle beer garden.

Great meat in a designed environment, but the wine list can't keep up (yet!). For a dry-age T-bone you can't complain about price-performance. We would come back.

The food was ok, but nothing more, quite expensive for the quality. The drink orders took forever, waiting at least a quarter of an hour to 20 minutes for a beer is simply not possible. Every restaurant and every beer garden is faster. The atmosphere right on the Main is quite nice. There will definitely not be a repeat visit or a recommendation.

We visited the restaurant for the second time and were blown away again today. The meat was a poem, tender and to the point. The service (Maja was our fairy godmother) was fantastic, everything was taken into consideration and we received excellent advice. Our table was outside on the terrace directly on the Main and we had a wonderful view. An all-round successful and very nice evening. We would love to come back.

Outrageously delicious food, outrageously good service, outrageously cool location, outrageously expensive prices

Fantastic location on the water. Delicious food and wonderful attentive service. Wonderful start to our long weekend in Würzburg

Unfortunately, the price-performance ratio was not right for us at all. We had a certain anticipation for the restaurant, but this was not fulfilled. There were four of us and we had three different dishes. The Black Angus Flank Steak was tough and only lukewarm. The mashed potatoes were too salty. Unfortunately, reordering the side dishes didn't work well. The Lillet was alcohol-free. The service was courteous and nice, but the receptionist was a bit rude. We paid €160 for four people. Unfortunately the price-performance ratio wasn't right.

Poor service, drinks took 30 minutes to arrived. Food took more than 50 minutes. Poor quality overall!

If you like eating meat, this is the right place for you! Thanks to the service, we received great advice, the food left nothing to be desired.

Nice location with friendly people

We were guests here with 6 people on a Friday evening and had made a reservation on the website a few days before, which is strongly recommended - even if there are fewer people. The ambience appears pleasantly chic without seeming artificial or exaggerated. The waitress was competent and charming when advising on the doneness of the steaks. All dishes (various types of steak and burgers) tasted excellent and were served one after the other in a timely manner despite the house being full. The prices for the steaks sound self-conscious at first, but turn out to be reasonable in terms of quality and taste. All in all, we had a great evening in a pleasant restaurant with delicious food. We will come back and can definitely recommend the restaurant.

Yesterday evening I was there with my girlfriend around 9:30 p.m. and we wanted to grab a bite to eat since the kitchen in the adjacent restaurant was already closing. The very friendly waiter asked for us straight away in the kitchen and we ate a super delicious pulled pork burger in a very cozy atmosphere and delicious wine - highly recommended 👍

I was amazed to read Heike's post. Because we have had pretty much identical experiences. Nice reception, well accommodated with 5 people even without a reservation. Ordered very quickly and received good advice. Then the service unfortunately collapsed. Waited an hour for the starter. You only get this after requesting it. Then we waited another half hour until our main course came. That too only after a clear complaint. In the meantime, all the tables around us were ready, including those that were occupied after us. As Heike writes: Food is great, but the service really drags everything down. It's a real shame: the food and the location are much better. In the end it is always the overall picture that decides.

Nice atmosphere by the river, good food for a reasonable price. Unfortunately the service is catastrophic, after our drinks were taken we had to ask several times over a period of 20 minutes whether we could order food until we were served. Reordering fries and similar side dishes, which were specifically advertised on the menu, also didn't work. We waited 15 minutes for the side dishes until we decided to pay. Paying was the only part of the greeting that worked.

Never enjoyed to write a bad review. Yet, there’s no explanation or rationalization for an hour between order and food arriving. After I asked for manager food came immediately, but steak was almost cold. Tried to give it another shot and ask for beer. Beer came hot. Still waiting for manager to come. Food was good, by the way.

Were there again in July 2024, outside. It was great👍🏽🥳 Service could possibly score points with more staff👌🏽 Come back😋

The Beef 800 is actually one of my favorite restaurants in Würzburg. Yesterday we went there again to eat. The reception was very, very friendly, our waitress, Nadine, was a real gem - the aperitif (a glass of sparkling wine) was very refreshing. The boys' burgers were great, only my cream of potato soup was a flop, totally watery, no taste, I let the soup go back. The fries, which were actually always good - totally dry, cold and inedible. Please serve the food so that it reaches the guests hot and fresh. Thank you and see you next time!

There is a nice atmosphere outside on the terrace and the service staff is also nice and always helpful. However, I didn't think the food was good at all. Waited an hour and a half for the food, the fries were already wobbly, the burgers themselves were very dry and the patties weren't really cooked through. I won't come here a second time

We had 3 burgers at the table that had to go back to the kitchen because the goat cheese was forgotten in the pulled pork burgers and they were lukewarm, the Italian burger was still raw inside. And relatively expensive. Nice atmosphere on the Main and delicious drinks. The waitress did everything she could to save our evening.

On Friday we were at Beef 800. A beautiful location on the Main. Unfortunately no recommendation. When a beetle crawls out of the lettuce on the burger, hunger turns into disgust. Long waiting times, white wine that was way too warm.

Hi, I often enjoyed eating at your local restaurant! Unfortunately, that suddenly changed today on my birthday of all days!!!!! The smallest drawback of the evening was that we waited 20 minutes for the drinks! Fries came cold in all 4 dishes. When I asked the waiter about it, we received 1x warm fries. I also complained about my medium steak, which was unfortunately still raw (it can happen...but), she took it with her and brought it back to me some time later because of course my side dishes were cold, which she wasn't interested in. When she repeatedly asked me if everything was OK, I described all the defects to her again. As an apology, 15 minutes later she offered to pack up the rest of my steak and offer me an aperitif on the house! (Which I politely rejected) Sorry, I'm not the type of guest to complain, but something like that doesn't work in a place like this, it's not a snack bar!

Food was great, atmosphere was nice with great people watching opportunities. The staff were very busy and it was hard to pay. Otherwise it was a nice experience.

Waited an hour for the steak, then got it well done instead of medium and with ketchup with a skin on it. Probably not again...

Waited over 1 hour for the food and no service in between. (Although the restaurant wasn't full). Then the steak was cooked through instead of medium. The cherry on top, the ketchup already had skin forming. Certainly not going to happen any time soon and for the price I wouldn't recommend it!!!!

Unfortunately, our visit to the restaurant wasn't as good as we had hoped and the price-performance ratio was simply not right. The platter for two people we ordered was disappointing. Half of the meat was no longer at the right temperature and did not meet the expected quality. For the high price, the quality of the meat was simply inadequate for me as a beef lover. The vegetables were average, the salad was OK. The mushrooms were boring. The service was great. There is only praise. The biggest shock, however, came in the toilet. An employee from the kitchen came out of the toilet cubicle wearing black hygiene gloves and only washed them off with water for three seconds. This made me very uncomfortable as I thought the gloves were for easy changing. And even if you keep them on, I expect a more thorough cleaning. Unacceptable. Overall our visit was mediocre. We hope that this feedback can help to improve something.

Went there with a larger group and wouldn't come again. When paying separately, I also recommend paying close attention to what is being paid so that at the end you can see what has been booked onto the table.

My wife and I ate here for the first time yesterday. Let's start with the positive: Fantastically beautiful location right on the Main, very stylish and high-quality furnishings. The service was fine. It could have been a nice evening if we hadn't eaten anything... My wife had a 150g fillet steak with sweet potato fries. The steak was rare instead of medium rare as ordered. Roasted aromas: none. I had a tomahawk steak with asparagus on the side. Unfortunately the asparagus was completely overcooked. Now to the tomahawk steak for around €120: The poor piece of meat has never seen a grill. I suspect sous-vide cooking and then searing in the pan. The restaurant does not deserve the designation 800* or grill. There's no way I can cook a tomahawk like that. It didn't have the slightest roasted aroma. Due to the preparation, the fat could not melt into the meat, as happens when grilling with high heat. So there were only inedible pieces of fat and dry pieces of meat. A torture for meat connoisseurs and grill lovers. That was a full six! When the criticism was made to the service department, the answer came: Our two main grillers are not there today. Wow. So we leave over €200 in the restaurant for some amateurs to spoil the meat. Sorry guys, it's a shame for the great location, but as long as you can't get the kitchen under control you can only advise against eating here.

We were there with our class. The food was really tasty for me. The price/performance ratio leaves a lot to be desired and is very overpriced. The atmosphere and the location were really nice. The service wasn't that good. I would have liked friendlier service desired. Nevertheless, it was very nice and is still recommended.

Excellent place to enjoy some typical dish, of very good quality. Very generous portions. Very nice and recommended.
