The food has been disgusting for the past few months. Maybe the chef has changed, but we won't be going to this place anymore. It used to be the best food in town, now it's just average. The fried rolls are half the size, the fried rice and noodles are not fried, just greedily covered with some kind of sauce, the noodles are also different and taste like ramen from the 2 euro bag, and they started out very use few vegetables. Very sad, but we don't want to come here anymore. Thank you for 2 years of great food)

The restaurant is very unassuming from the outside. But the inside is great. The food we ordered was ready within 15 minutes. Both dishes were super tasty. We will definitely order again and eat there again.

After hearing a lot of good things about Samdi Pirmasens' Vietnamese restaurant, we were finally able to test it out on Wednesday... We received a friendly welcome, the atmosphere is very appealing. The order was also taken quickly. The Peking soup was ordered 3 times, I also had the spring rolls and the chicken game with peanut sauce Unfortunately I don't know the names of the main courses... Even the group's biggest critic praised the soup. But it was really awesome, it had exactly the ideal sharpness. My spring rolls also surprised me; they weren't the usual run-of-the-mill bags you'd find in Chinese restaurants. I think they were freshly prepared. The chicken skewer was also delicious and not drenched in peanut sauce as usual. My main course number 33 was extremely good. A little spicier, but not too spicy. With lots of meat and fresh vegetables... All in all, we were all very satisfied and will definitely come back

Fantastic food and great sushi – with a little patience when there is a lot of crowds! The Chinese restaurant Samdi offers great, authentic food and the sushi in particular is fresh and very attractively prepared. The quality is top and the taste impresses every time. However, when there is a lot going on, there may be longer waiting times - but the food is absolutely worth the patience. Friendly staff completes the experience. I always enjoy coming back!

Fantastic restaurant. We actually just wanted to eat something quick before returning home and now we will remember it for a long time. Cozy & detailed ambience, great & attentive service, fantastic food both visually and in terms of taste. If we lived there, we would probably be guests there very often. Why 5 stars? I recently went to Samdi Restaurant for the first time and was really impressed. The food was super fresh and tasted really good - you can tell that quality is important here. I also liked the ambience; it was cozy and inviting, perfect for a relaxing evening. I loved the cherry blossoms hanging everywhere above us, the design of the restaurant really takes you out of your everyday life and puts you in a lovely little Asian paradise. The prices are absolutely fair, especially for the portion sizes and the quality. I had the feeling that you really get something for your money here. The staff were very friendly, which made the visit even more pleasant. I can't say anything specific about the toilets because we didn't use them. All in all, I can only recommend the restaurant! I will definitely come back.

My wife's meal (duck) was miserable. The pasta was dripping with oil (it really needed to go somewhere after that) and the duck was unsightly (endless fat). My food was accidentally brought to the next table. After two minutes they realized that this wasn't their food. Without a word, the plate, which, mind you, was served to someone else first, was placed on my table. Sorry, that doesn't work at all. The ambience has something of a kitsch Chinese feel to it (reminds me of the Chinese bazaars with cheap stuff in Spain). Sanitary facilities clean, but from the 70s/80s. All in all, I will never appear there again.

Today, based on the positive Google reviews, I ordered takeaway from the restaurant for the first time. What was ordered: Curry with pork, vegetables and rice; I got curry with vegetables and rice but without meat. The vegetables were fresh and crunchy, the curry sauce didn't convince me; it was very "spicy" and had little other taste. The restaurant has charm and the service was very nice. The food was prepared quickly. In terms of price, the dish was just over €10. Unfortunately I wasn't satisfied with the taste, which is a shame.

Really recommended!!! We often eat Asian food and I'm really happy that we have something so delicious again in Pirmasens.

So far the food has always been good.. but unfortunately yesterday's order was inedible (tasted like it had been warmed up) and the food gave us a stomach ache.. whether there was something with the chicken or a hygiene problem.. I can't say.. I don't think we'll order here again... what a shame! Addendum: Addendum: I don't work with you in the kitchen and don't know how you adhere to hygiene rules. At the restaurant's request, I attached a picture of one of the packaging for the dishes. You can now see your writing on it too. I rarely give bad reviews, but the fact is that everyone who ate the food got diarrhea and stomachaches . I'm not trying to badmouth the restaurant, but that's my personal experience with the food with this order.

I am sincerely grateful for the hospitality of the owner of the restaurant and the staff of this fabulous establishment in the middle of the forest and lush trees. two smiling men greeted me here, offered me a menu and even a small dessert. I entered the atmosphere of harmony, evening pleasure and delicious gourmet dishes. what a wonderful moment it was and the evening was not wasted time. here are masters of their craft... Thank you and thank you again.

A hugely Disappointing Experience at SAMDI My recent dining experience at SAMDI was, unfortunately, very disappointing. Both my colleague and I ordered the same dish: noodles with chicken, broccoli, and cashew nuts. I specifically chose this dish for the broccoli and cashews, as they are among my favorite ingredients. However, when the dish arrived, it was devoid of both broccoli and cashews. I immediately called the waiter over to address the issue, mentioning that this was not what I ordered. His response was a simple "Entschuldigung/Sorry," followed by an explanation that the restaurant did not have any broccoli or cashews. This was shocking, as there had been no indication when we placed our orders that these key ingredients were unavailable. I expressed my disappointment, noting that if I had known beforehand, I would have chosen something else from the menu. The waiter's only response was another "Entschuldigung." Neither he nor the manager seemed to understand the gravity of the situation or how it impacted my dining experience. They both gave the impression that my complaint was trivial and continued as though everything was perfectly fine. To make matters worse, there was no offer of anything complimentary to make up for the missing ingredients, and I was still charged the full price for the incomplete dish. While I understand that unforeseen circumstances can lead to ingredient shortages, how a restaurant handles such situations is crucial. Informing customers in advance about unavailable ingredients is standard procedure in the industry. Moreover, good customer service is about more than just the money; it's about ensuring customers feel valued and satisfied. Unfortunately, this was not the case at SAMDI. The lack of communication and the dismissive attitude towards my complaint were appalling. It is surprising that such poor customer service is tolerated and seems to be the norm in Germany. I hope that the management of SAMDI takes this feedback seriously and makes necessary improvements. Until then, I cannot recommend this restaurant and will not be returning. Overall, my experience was far from satisfactory, and I hope others do not have to endure the same level of disappointment.

This is the second time we've had sushi there and it was so excellent. It couldn't be better. Still not very cheap, but you can definitely do it.

We often order to pick up, both the Vietnamese dishes and the sushi are very tasty. The restaurant just seems a bit overly decorated. The service was friendly and helpful.

My friend and I were there recently because we had something to celebrate ☺️we were greeted very politely and offered us a nice, quiet place for two people. The menu was attractively designed as was the ambience of the restaurant! The selection is large and the food tasted very good. The milk tea with tabioca pearls was exactly how I wanted it! The highlight of the whole evening was definitely the sushi platter for two people with dry ice! And sushi excellent and fresh I will gladly come again! (Will be our new regular restaurant)

This has become my absolute favorite restaurant. The people there are very nice and also fulfill special requests. When my partner and I order, it is important that my food does not contain eggs or fish sauce and my partner's does not contain mushrooms. This is implemented 99% of the time, but it is better to check it. Mistakes happen to the best and after a friendly complaint we were served the newly prepared dish we wanted in a reasonable amount of time. The nice man at the counter didn't seem annoyed either, which is a huge plus in my opinion. Aside from that, the food is incredibly delicious. Everything tastes super fresh and the vegetables are crunchy. My personal favorite are the udon noodles with vegetables and, as a starter, the edamame. I can't get enough of it and I look forward to it every time. Now also mega delicious sushi, also vegan. I love it!! If you order takeaway, you should keep the bag as straight as possible, because unfortunately something often leaks. The containers for the sauces don't close tightly either. So be careful 😉 And enjoy it!

Von außen ist das Restaurant recht unscheinbar, doch wir waren von dem Essen positiv überrascht. Die Nudeln waren sehr lecker und bei allen von uns bestellten Gerichten war Gemüse dabei. Daran hat uns besonders gefallen, dass es sehr frisch und noch knackig geschmeckt hat und nicht so verkocht war. Auch war das Essen nicht so fettig, wie in vielen anderen asiatischen Restaurants, sodass es für uns gut verträglich war. Als Getränke haben wir die Limonaden gewählt, welche sehr lecker und frisch waren. Leider gab es an dem Samstagabend unseres Besuchs kein Sushi, was uns etwas enttäuscht hat, da es in der Speisekarte aufgeführt ist und uns auch nicht von Anfang an gesagt wurde. Der Service allgemein war zwar freundlich, jedoch wurde lange nach dem Essen das Geschirr nicht abgeräumt und wir wurden auch nicht gefragt, ob wir noch etwas trinken oder ein Dessert möchten. Wir kommen jedoch gerne wieder weil uns das Essen im Allgemeinen wirklich überzeugt hat und es für uns darauf ankommt.

Das Essen war sehr lecker und der Service war auch gut. Wir freuen uns wieder hinzugehen.
