Sam Kullman's Diner Regensburg in Regensburg

Ordered Mac 'n Cheese and basically got pasta with some cheese. No sauce, no taste. Has absolutely nothing to do with the original dish. The waiter was informed and discussed with us, showing no insight. It should fit like this. The burgers are great as usual, the service is bad. Drinks full of ice. We waited forever for the bill.

Table reservation was confirmed 2 weeks ago. When we arrived on time for the appointment, we were seated in the last corner next to the toilet. When the service asked for another seat, it was not answered, although a couple who arrived 5 minutes later and had not reserved a place received a top spot. Although the food was very good, you don't want to sit next to toilets where someone goes in every 5 minutes even though other places were free Very negative service

We had 2x all you can enjoy chicken wings, unfortunately they tasted and looked extremely like frozen food. nothing you would expect in a restaurant like this. The waitress looked at you stupidly if you wanted a second helping (with all you can eat, of course?) and the last portion of chicken wings was drowned in a strange sauce. Maybe it was supposed to be a hot sauce, it tasted disgusting and smelled very strong and strange (mainly fatty, maybe old frying fat). I was actually really looking forward to visiting this restaurant, but was extremely disappointed. The only thing that was good was the peach iced tea. I can only recommend it to everyone. Unfortunately for me it will be the first and last time I eat here. too bad

Cool atmosphere, deliciously fresh and large selection of burgers. I'd love to be there again. Prices have gone up everywhere now!

Super tasty diner (we found it via the Schlemmerblock and tried it out straight away when we visited Regensburg). My steak was super tender and very tasty. The rest of the offering is plentiful, including burgers, pulled pork, steaks, side dishes and desserts

The restaurant has a very nice atmosphere. Unfortunately the service that evening was not what it should be. We had to wait at the entrance for a while until someone took us to our reserved table. It also took a long time until someone finally came to take the order. When the food was served we had to take care of the cutlery ourselves as it was forgotten. The restaurant was not full and there was a lot of staff on duty. The food itself tasted good, but only came to the table lukewarm. Overall a pleasant atmosphere, but the service could be much more attentive.

Were there again after a long time. The burgers were very good, but the spare ribs were not fresh or had been kept warm for too long.

Typical American restaurant with lots of hamburgers. Any side dish or sauce must be paid extra. It's a bit of a stretch, but whoever likes it.

Burger was good. Wedges unfortunately cold. 2 empty beer glasses stood in front of us for more than 40 minutes and no one came. When we first said we would pay, no one came back for at least 20 minutes. A lot of staff who skillfully ignored you. From the guy behind the bar who should have seen us to the waiters. really delicious food, burgers, fries, location, service! everything was TOP! am totally satisfied.

The food was really tasty, but waiting three quarters of an hour for a waitress to clear away the plates is really too long, especially when every table around you is being served but you aren't. (The table next to us was being cleaned) Unfortunately, you no longer feel like having dessert. So I understand if it takes longer, everything is fine, I also work in a restaurant, but if everything is being served next to you and a table is only served when asked for so long, it really doesn't have to be that way

Good food at a fair price. A few more parking spaces would be nice. update: Burgers still great, unfortunately you changed something about the coleslaw... no longer creamy and no longer tasty. but the rest is great

Visited the diner again after a long time. Thank God the ambience hasn't changed :-) Unfortunately that's what the service is for :-/ Either you're too overzealous (you're not even sitting at your seat and you're already being asked if you want a drink) or you only notice it when you ask your colleagues. Continuity would be better here and would bring more structure to the service. Praise to the kitchen, it was again super tasty. A little tip: in the future there may be the option of ordering medium or fried paddy. Would be the icing on the cake for the kitchen So the kitchen is great, the service has potential, but still an experience and recommended.

First of all: I will rate the food below! The Kullmanns wants to be an “American diner”. There are burgers with various fries, sandwiches, spare ribs and salads on site. The whole thing has an American style, red benches and chairs and a bit of American decoration to complete the style. For me the diner is visually appealing but for me personally it's not really American, despite all the effort. For me, that's due to the standard food selection that you can get everywhere now, the music and the whole ambience around it. There are 4 stars for this. To eat: The burgers are okay, standard burgers with different toppings. Mediocre for me. The fries (for an extra charge of around €5!) are crispy and well seasoned. The coleslaw is nothing. More like KFC. Milkshake and homemade lemonade Taste good. The service for us was quick and friendly.

We were there for dinner on Friday afternoon and it was simply very good. I've known Kullmann's since 2006 and it was great to eat there again and find that the food is still great. 👍 Our waitress and her colleague were also very friendly and attentive. My spare ribs were a dream and my companion was thrilled with the schnitzel. And the Chocolate Lover for dessert made the whole thing perfect. I'm looking forward to being back in Regensburg at some point and being able to visit the restaurant 🫶🤤

We always stop here on the way back from our vacation. The burgers are very good. The service is also great. Big praise to Oliver, he really does it with heart.

A year ago we were regulars at the diner. The food was great, the service was friendly - unfortunately that was no longer the case. The food really wasn't good, but the service was worse. 5 out of 10 orders arrived incorrectly, the toilets were extremely dirty, the burgers were carelessly prepared, the bun was dry, the meat was completely burnt and the service was unfortunately very annoyed and not very motivated. The plates remained mostly full and the waitress simply didn't care. She preferred not to ask how we liked it. She probably would have already known the answer anyway. There was also no response to a normal farewell.

Worth a recommendation. We went for dinner and it was busy. We didn't have a reservation but got a table. Unfortunately my burger was forgotten when I ordered. Which initially made me a little angry. But it was handled very professionally. After paying the bill, I quickly got my burger to take away for free. I didn't expect this reaction. It's easy to forgive a mistake that we can all make. You could put some love into the interior. The furniture is already a bit worn.

American style is not my thing. Way too loud. Service plate carrier. Don't recommend don't know...., give menu and what. No questions asked. You can't call a place like that restaurants.

In my opinion, Kullmans is the best burger restaurant in Regensburg. It's just an authentic American diner with good music and great food. The prices are reasonable for what you get. I can also particularly recommend the sauces that you can buy there in bottles to take home. However, I would pay attention to the expiry date, as I have accidentally bought a sauce twice that expired shortly afterwards. The only point the restaurant could work on would be the cleanliness of the toilets, which unfortunately leaves something to be desired.

The food was great as always. But I would particularly like to mention the nice and attentive service lady. She took great care of us and was just warm, friendly and nice. Thank you!!!!

I was here in a group of four people and we were all satisfied. Personally, I had the avocado burger, which tasted extremely good. The service is very friendly and takes special requests and allergies into account without any further questions. I will definitely come back

Party burnt and hard and inedible for all three citizens. If we had been there we would have had them returned straight away. Price performance is basically good, but I'm happy to spend more money for good food!

The diner is at its peak in terms of the quality of the food and service. The burgers are delicious and extremely well priced. The children's portions are huge. The desserts also taste great and correspond to the price. The staff is attentive and friendly. For me it's currently the only burger place you can go to with children. That's what a burger joint stands for and not these soulless stalls that you can currently find on every corner...

An authentic American diner opposite the arcades. At its branch in Regensburg, Kullman's Diner has a wide selection of typical American dishes such as burgers, chicken wings or mac'n'cheese, but also delicious salads and sweet desserts and milkshakes. The staff was extremely accommodating and very friendly during my stay. The food was all delivered very quickly and tasted very good. There was nothing to complain about visually either, as everything was beautifully presented. I only found the mac'n'cheese a bit too bland. All in all a great experience!

Student rip-off. Unfortunately 0 stars are not possible. You are lured here with false promises. A student discount is advertised, which is then not accepted. Super unfriendly boss then came to us and spoke to us in a loud, unfriendly tone - never again!!

American flair as soon as you walk in: the air conditioning is set slightly too cold like in the USA :D the food is great, there's even Riot beer.

We ate there for the first time today and it was good, but unfortunately the service kept us waiting forever. Drinks had been empty for a long time and I only came to pay after asking several times. I then got something to drink at the gas station next door and it was quicker 😂

I’ve been going here since high school and the food is still the same good quality! The atmosphere is like in an American Diner from the 50s/60s 💯 Definitely recommend going here and giving it a try!!

It's just a diner. The burgers taste ok, but nothing extraordinary about them. The side dishes work too. The service was rather poor: the waiters seemed tired and uninterested. I probably won't come a second time.

The service could be better. We were there with 2 children and the service staff only brought us a children's menu when we asked. Unfortunately, the pencils for coloring were all completely blunt. You will not be asked if you would like a side dish with your meal. It wasn't due to stress either because there wasn't very much going on. This can be done much better and more accommodating!

The atmosphere is very nice and cozy. You have to be careful when eating the ribs, I don't know why, but there are mostly small pieces of bone on them!!! Things were forgotten about the chocolate cake and I was just laughed at, no apology or anything. The service is hard to find words for. I work in service myself and if I paid as little attention to customer satisfaction as the gentlemen do, my regular customers wouldn't come back. -Too slow -After 30 minutes of eating you had to point out that you should please take the plates with you Just the fact that he laughs at me. Because I said what was missing, I think it's a shame. To all dog owners, there are also people with dog hair allergy. In the future, please make sure that the dog doesn't necessarily shake himself next to the table. Please just take it to the other side. For my part, I won't be coming anymore. I was there last night. I find it sad and a real shame that people aren't taken seriously there. I ordered a citizen without bacon. Unfortunately it was still served to me with bacon. That's no problem. That was definitely a little misunderstanding. I then called the waitress again and pointed out that I wanted it without it. After about 2 minutes the SAME burger arrived, only without bacon. Then I said, it's the same burger. I want a new one, unfortunately they didn't take that into account. The third time they cooked the same burger a little browner. And then served the same burger again for the third time. Something like that shouldn't be possible, I know it's a bit of a waste but unfortunately I didn't order it either. I just think it's a real shame because you're really looking forward to having a nice evening with your friends and then you're so blatantly disappointed that you just don't pay any attention to it - it's easy. The worst thing is that I am the liar and that I am not the same citizen. Although the service staff told the kitchen, the kitchen didn't stick to it. Being disappointed like that the third time is really no longer acceptable. Luckily, my friends had a good idea to have me lightly pick off a piece of the bread to see if they would serve me the same burger. It's a shame, no matter how good the burger is, it's an outrage.

Diner itself is quite chic, lots of seats inside & a few outside. Unfortunately it's on a busy street, which means sitting outside isn't fun, at least during the day. The staff was friendly but very slow. Burgers were delicious. Prices okay for a diner.

We ate burgers here on a Saturday and what can I say, we are super satisfied. Even though the shop was full, the food came to the table surprisingly quickly and we were delighted with the taste. I would recommend it at any time -> important to reserve a table.

I have been a regular guest at Kullman's Diner Regensburg over the last 20 years. Sometimes with friends, sometimes with the family or even alone. I have always felt comfortable here. Unfortunately, when it comes to service, things are continually going downhill. If you want to reorder something, it takes forever until someone comes to the table. Sometimes you have the feeling that nothing is being sold here because you have to make it very clear or loud that you would like to order something else. Man...what happened here?? Some male service workers here have completely missed their job 100%, are listless and totally unmotivated. Same thing when it comes to collecting money... until someone comes, even after you have made it clear that you want to pay, it still takes a long time before the good man can tear himself away from small talk with his colleagues. I've always tipped generously but, to be honest, I don't have a cent to spare for so much ignorance. The fact is: I definitely won't come here again. Cleanliness should also be worked on. Clean tables and benches should be a given. Sorry guys, that's it... I'm through.

The food was actually good - actually? The burger could be a little less juicy. The fries were crispy but also dry. Otherwise you can't complain the BQQ sauce was awesome. The staff was actually on their toes until after the meal, but when we were finished we had to wait 20 minutes until someone came over again. It was a shame because we wanted to have something to drink.

Typical Kullman's. Comfortably furnished in a diner style, with a small, cozy beer garden. There is typical American food. I've been coming here to eat every few years since it opened. The burgers are good, but unfortunately not as big and plentiful as before. Steaks and side dishes are delicious. The taste is all good but nothing extraordinary. Special requests will be accommodated. There's something for everyone on the menu. No matter whether it's a burger, steak or finger food. In my opinion, the prices aren't too high either. Things aren't going so well here at times with the staff. Sometimes you get the impression that the employees are wandering around aimlessly and don't really know what to do. If you need something you have to make yourself known. Things have gotten better, at least occasionally someone comes by and asks if you still have a wish. Everyone is friendly. There is no parking space. Everything is handicapped accessible. I'll come back because it's just something different.

So of course you have to do the recession according to the store you are in. It's definitely great for an American diner. The food tastes really good, you can't complain at all. Service was very nice, maybe sometimes longer waiting times, but that's ok. All in all nice diner!

I ordered a delivery from them through Liferanto; the order took more than 1 hour to arrive! And it arrived cold! The fries were not only cold, but also tasted old and bad and some were burned! The burger tasted less than average! So, it was not only about the delivery time, but also about hhe quality of the food! It wasn't the first time by the way that I encounter a problem with the quality of the food; I ordered once curly fries (dine in), it was also cold and tasted bad and old! The packaging was the worst! The fries were not served in a box, but just thrown into a bag, which was not stamped; the burger box not sealed and some of the food was out of the box! I took a take away from them before, and the packaging was very neat, properly served and sealed and in order! It seems that their service is deteriorating! Initial review: -------------- (It was a 5 stars review) I really enjoyed my time there! The waitresses were also very friendly. I ordered the clubhouse sandwich, with curly fries and a beer: really tasty! The surrounding is also nice: a diner style with cool American music ... We were traveling with the dog and got a little hungry. We asked briefly whether we were allowed to enter the restaurant with a dog and we were immediately assigned a seat. We had the burger with avocado and egg and mac n cheese with bacon. The portions are absolutely sufficient and taste good too. The burger patty could have been a little less cooked but it was still tasty. We were served by Fabian. Very friendly and also quick. We'd love to come back

Clean restaurant, nice atmosphere, great staff. We had lunch with a voucher booklet. When our nice waiter noticed that it was our wedding anniversary, we were immediately given a champagne as a gift. It doesn't get any better. The food was very good and hot. We felt comfortable and would love to come back. The sanitary facilities were also very clean

We've been coming to Kullman's again and again since 2010!! Always clean and tasty 👍🏻 Every now and then you have to wait a long time for food and there are sometimes unfriendly staff, but that's the case everywhere these days. Normally they are all nice and the food is excellent as always 😎

Wir waren mittags mit Gutscheinheft essen. Zu unserem Hochzeitstag wollten wir mal was anderes machen. Sehr freundliches und offenes Personal. Das hat uns gut 👍 gefallen ,das man mit dem tollen Personal gleich in Kontakt kommt. Als unser Keller mitbekommen hat, das wir Hochzeitstag haben, gab es gleich ein Glas Sekt aufs Haus. Das empfanden wir als ganz tolle Geste. Vielen lieben Dank Wir können nichts sagen, das Essen war toll. Das Steack war richtig lecker und zart. Die Location richtig super. Wir kommen wieder. Es gibt auch Veaggi . Also für jeden was dabei . Was mir immer wichtig ist ist die Sauberkeit. Das ist doch definitiv so, auch die Sanitäranlagen. Wir sehen uns wieder. Danke

Your ambience is really great 😊 unfortunately there are no good burgers for vegetarians. We were hoping for Beyond Meat or a comparable patty, so the selection would be great, and more in the Amy style. The other current veggie burgers are so-so, nothing special. Side dishes like garlic bread and fries were really tasty and fresh but you're more likely to go there for a burger ;) Service was unfortunately a bit stroppy and slow but would like to come back with a different selection.

The food tastes bombastic. The environment itself is reminiscent of the American 50s, as is the background music. If you're into something like this and want to feel an explosion of your taste buds, this is the right place!

My experience at Kullman's Diner in Regensburg was disappointing. It is known that breakfast is only offered until 12 noon, a rule that I believe severely limits flexibility for guests. An exception was made for the first order and breakfast was served after 12pm, which I really appreciated. However, 10 minutes later the situation was completely different the second time. An employee who was clearly trying to act in a customer-oriented manner was reprimanded by another person for his accommodating behavior. This incident gave me the feeling that the working atmosphere and the treatment of staff as well as customer satisfaction in this establishment could be improved. Based on this experience, I can only give one star in the hope that such incidents will be avoided in the future and a more positive experience will be created for everyone involved.
