Saloon/Pizza Blitz in Greiz

I can highly recommend this place.

Seriously, folks... If it were possible, this pizzeria would get twice the stars. We're gemstone and mineral collectors from Austria, and with six people plus two fox terriers, we were treated like royalty. After a last-minute phone reservation, we were seated in two incredibly cozy booths, each filling a corner. Then we were presented with the most original menus we've ever seen. So lovingly designed, a real eye-catcher, and filled with dishes that make your heart sing and leave nothing to be desired. Except perhaps a change to the order, since I can't eat everything. Even that was accommodated. You can choose your portions, and they are truly generous. Since everything is freshly made and they aren't your run-of-the-mill pre-made pizzas, it does take a few minutes. After all, it's not a microwave oven. I can't understand some of the reviews, and especially not how two people complained about the same order. Sorry, but I worked as a pizza delivery driver for three and a half years back home and I know what it's like during peak hours. A phone order isn't the only thing being ordered. Customers in the restaurant also need to be served, and you can't do everything at once. Besides, it's not always just one phone order. The driver has to get back to the restaurant first. It's not like everything is going in the same direction. If it takes longer than expected and you call again, you can always meet them halfway and pick up the order yourself. Not every pizzeria delivers. That's why you should be grateful when you get this service. Guys, ignore comments like these and, like us, form your own opinion. I guarantee it won't be your last visit. Best regards from Austria, we'll be back when we're back to panning for gems in Gölsch.

Never again! Delivery time over 2.5 hours. Food was cold. Prices online don't match what was charged.

*Rating: 2/5 stars – Today was a comedy festival with a delivery twist** - Good road conditions – that was the only thing that worked reliably today. The arrival time? Well, the company's clock obviously runs in its own time zone. - The delivery time for four pizzas and a portion of tortellini was over two hours. Sure, in a world where time is relative, two hours might only be a minute… in another world. But here it felt more like a delayed turtle race. - The salami on the pizza was so thin you could see through it. At least they didn't skimp on the cheese – and yes, I'm glad I didn't order double cheese. It tasted and looked like a 3D rendering where the cheese is the only visible texture. The appearance certainly didn't resemble the pictures on the website. - For a short person, the pizza size might seem adequate, but 26 cm is supposed to be large here, seriously? Presumably, this is the new standard size of confusion: "Is this large? Yes, no, maybe." - Although the menu was pulled from the website, the final price was €4 more. Next time, perhaps just read the "discount dimension" from the URL – or better yet: check the prices before ordering, before embarking on this slow-motion slide. Conclusion: Today, the only thing faster than the delivery was the maze of promises and minor surprises. The taste was okay to acceptable, the value for money questionable, and the delivery time epic. Would I order again? Probably not – unless you offer me a watch with the correct time zone included.

We love coming to the saloon. The food is excellent and the service is top-notch. The atmosphere is cozy and unique. We'll definitely be back.

Very nice, cozy atmosphere – I felt like I was riding into a small canyon. Attentive service and a family atmosphere. The food is fantastic! A definite recommendation. It's worth making a reservation.

If you want to sit undisturbed, the saloon is the place to be. The pizzas are excellent.

The food is good to very good! However, I would have liked a bit more sausage in my solyanka. That's why I'm only giving it 4 stars overall.

We drove 45 minutes ago because we wanted to try something new and the store really appealed to us, only to find ourselves standing in front of the closed doors. Can't you write that down on the Internet when it's closed?

We went to Pizzeria Saloon for dinner. We really liked the cozy atmosphere. The food was great! At the end the landlady also had time and inclination for a nice small talk. We will be back.

Go there regularly because the price and performance are right!

The renovations look fantastic - in keeping with the 'saloon' feel. The service is friendly and prompt and attentive. There is a good variety of food which comes out in a timely manner. Ranging from potato and pasta bake, steak, schnitzel, burritos, salad and of course pizza. The restaurant has private booths, being able to seat up to 8 people. Large groups (over 10) can use a seperate function room, and booking is recommended. Payment can be cash or card. (Restaurant is called Western Saloon, delivery is called Pizza Blitz)

Ich war vor 8/9 Jahren dort und fande es schon sehr toll, gestern mal dort gewesen und ich muss sagen es ist mach wie vor immer wieder empfehlenswert, essen super frisch, Service sehr nett und freundlich und das Preis Leistungsverhältnis gut. Ich komme jetzt definitiv öfter oder bestelle mir etwas wenn ich in der Nähe bin. Macht weiter so

Kleine Kneipe im Saloonstil mit kleinen Sitznieschen. Zu viert ok, bei mehr Personen ziemlich eng. Für große Feiern gibt es einen separaten Raum. Wenn's hier voll ist, lange Wartezeit auf's Essen (wir haben 1h auf Pizza gewartet! )Mit der Zeit sind die Sitzmöglichkeiten allerdings sehr unbequem. Essen gut, Service ok. Restaurant bietet Lieferservice an...auch hier teilweise sehr lange Wartezeiten. Nachtrag August '23: mittlerweile hat die Qualität sehr nachgelassen...auf der letzten hier gegessenen Pizza keine frischen Zutaten mehr-alles nur noch aus der Dose...und das dann für DEN Preis...da kann man auch zu Hause essen

Sehr sehr leckeres Essen zu top Preisen. Das Ambiente in den Sitznischen ist einfach traumhaft gestaltet. Dazu noch das mega sehr freundliche Personal mit Chefin, man fühlt sich als ob man dazu gehört. Wir kommen definitiv wieder 🥰

Essen wie immer lecker und frisch. Leider durch die geänderten Öffnungszeiten muss man vorbestellen. In der Regel immer ausgebucht. Dennoch gerne wieder.

War gerade mit meinem 7 jährigen Sohn zum "Männerabend" hier. Die Bedienung war flott und super freundlich. Das Essen war lecker und Preis- Leistung top. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Hallo waren heute das erste mal in diesem Restaurant. Die Bedienung was sehr flott und immer für einen Spaß zu haben. Für die kids wurde kleines Spielzeug bereit gestellt. Das Essen kam zügig an den Tisch und es schmeckte sehr lecker. Wir kommen gerne wieder Familie Hild und Zander

Eine sehr gastfreundliche Chefin. Mein Mann und ich haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt! „Hausgemachtes“ ist hausgemacht!(Der Apfelstrudel ein Gedicht!)

Sehr schönes Ambiente, Essen schmeckt super. Preis - Leistung top. Bedienung schnell und man kann mit ihnen auch mal einen kleinen Schwatz halten. Ob im Restaurant oder per Lieferung, alles passt perfekt.
