Pizza ist der Wahnsinn!!! Grosses Lokal mit außergewöhnlicher Deko und kleiner Terrasse. Interessante Lage. Die Pizzas sind meines Erachtens die Besten im Umkreis von 50km. Absolute Empfehlung.

Wir haben unsere Geburtstage schon desöfteren im sale e pane gefeiert und es war immer ein Mega leckerer gelungener Abend! Karina und ihr Team haben sich dieses Mal selbst übertroffen und unsere mitgebrachte Deko im reservierten Raum wunderschön dekoriert und alles sehr schön und stylisch vorbereitet! Das Vorspeisenbuffet als auch die Nachtische klasse ! Den Hauptgang konnte jeder selbst wählen und alle waren sehr zufrieden und begeistert! Karina und unsere uns zugeteilte Bedienung zuvorkommend stets da wenn jemand etwas brauchte und emphatisch und freundlich! Alle Altersklassen haben sich rundum wohlgefühlt und wir können es auch für Feiern in größerer Runde bestens empfehlen! Allen ein ganz herzliches Dankeschön!

Wir waren mal wieder in Reutlingen und haben wie immer das Sale e Pane besucht. Wie immer sind wir rundum zufrieden, das Essen kam schnell und war sehr lecker. Das Personal ist sehr zuvorkommend.

Waren zu ersten Mal da. Sind positiv überrascht. Essen war richtig lecker, besonders das Dessert. Bedienung Anna R. verdient besonderes Lob für seine Arbeit.

Wir waren zum ersten Mal heute dort essen und waren sehr zufrieden! Der Service unserer Bedienung Anna R. war überragend und ist in der heutigen Zeit wirklich noch etwas besonderes. Unsere Speisen waren geschmacklich TOP und das Zitronensorbet ist absolut empfehlenswert. Wir kommen sicherlich wieder.

Wir waren inzwischen schon das 3. Mal dort und sind jedes Mal aufs Neue begeistert. Besonders hervorheben muss man wirklich den außergewöhnlich guten Service – im Umkreis sucht er definitiv seinesgleichen. Beim Betreten des Restaurants wird man von jedem Mitarbeiter freundlich begrüßt und man merkt sofort, mit wie viel Herzlichkeit und Aufmerksamkeit hier gearbeitet wird. Genau diese Freundlichkeit sorgt dafür, dass man sich vom ersten Moment an wohlfühlt. Auch das Essen hat uns bisher immer überzeugt: sehr lecker und mit einem wirklich fairen Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Dazu kommt das schöne und gemütliche Ambiente, das den Aufenthalt besonders angenehm macht. Man merkt einfach, dass hier viel Wert darauf gelegt wird, dass sich die Gäste wohlfühlen. Der einzige kleine Punkt, der noch verbessert werden könnte, ist das Tiramisu als Nachtisch – aber das ändert nichts am insgesamt sehr positiven Eindruck. Für uns ein Restaurant, in das man immer wieder gerne zurückkommt. Genau so sollte Gastronomie sein!

Wir waren heute zum ersten Mal im „Sale e Pane“ und derart davon begeistert, wie von einem kompletten Team die pure (Gast)Freundlichkeit gelebt wurde. Trotz sehr vollem Haus, war jedes Servicemitglied, unabhängig seines Bereichs, stets mit einem aufmerksamen Auge für den Gast da. Das Essen war sehr gut und original, wie man es erwartet. Ambiente: (indoor, weil es wie aus Eimern schüttete), modern und sauber.

Wir hatten heute einen wahnsinnig tollen Abend in diesem Restaurant. Super leckeres Essen, eine mal etwas abwechslungsreichere Speisekarte als bei den „üblichen“ italienischen Restaurants und ein wirklich freundlicher Service! Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Super Restaurant in Toplage. Hier stimmt alles! Die Bedienungen sind nett und kompetent. Das Ambiente ist super schön, modern eingerichtet mit schöner Bar und großen Fenstern - an der Wand hängt schöne Kunst. Und das Essen ist richtig lecker. Sowohl die Pizza als auch die Pasta waren ausgesprochen gut. Alles sehr ansprechen angerichtet. Wir hatten noch eine Kinderwagen dabei und könnten den ohne Probleme an den Tisch stellen. Und alles kam In angemessener Zeit.

Wir waren gestern im Sale e Pane essen und sind absolut begeistert. Die Pizza war einfach der Hammer – der Teig schön fluffig und perfekt gebacken. Auch der Service war großartig: freundlich, aufmerksam und mit einer tollen Weinempfehlung. Man hatte den ganzen Abend das Gefühl, wirklich willkommen zu sein und dass die Mitarbeiter ihren Job mit Freude machen. Ein ganz großes Lob an die Damen an dieser Stelle! Wer einen schönen Abend mit leckerem Essen und herzlichem Service verbringen möchte, ist hier genau richtig. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder. 🍕

Sehr guter Italiener in Reutlingen! Ich bin dort öfter, auch geschäftlich, und es passt einfach immer. Sowohl die Pasta-Gerichte als auch die Pizzen sind mega lecker – da ist wirklich für jeden etwas dabei. Das Personal ist super freundlich und aufmerksam. Komme immer wieder gerne!

Wir sind öfters dort, der Service ist 1A, das Essen wunderbar und preislich im Rahmen. Wir gehen gerne dorthin. Die Restaurantleiterin Karina mit ihrem Team ist sehr engagiert, geht auf jeden Kundenwunsch ein und macht alles möglich. Man spürt, dort sind Profis am Start!

Das Essen ist hervorragend – frisch, authentisch und mit viel Liebe zubereitet. Besonders hervorheben möchte ich aber den Service und die Atmosphäre, die den Besuch wirklich besonders machen. Ein riesiges Kompliment geht an die Restaurantleitung Karina: Sie macht einfach alles möglich, hat immer ein offenes Ohr für die Gäste und ist dabei stets unglaublich freundlich und herzlich. Man fühlt sich sofort willkommen und bestens umsorgt. So ein Engagement und diese Leidenschaft sieht man selten – hier kommt man definitiv gerne wieder!

Die Wartezeiten in diesem Restaurant sind leider sehr lang wir mussten bis zu 45 Minuten auf unser Essen warten. Das wäre deutlich weniger störend gewesen, wenn man uns vorher darauf hingewiesen hätte. Leider gab es keinerlei Information dazu, was den Besuch unnötig frustrierend gemacht hat. Das Essen selbst schmeckt zwar gut, dennoch überlegt man sich wegen der langen Wartezeiten zweimal, ob man hier essen gehen möchte.

January 6, 2026, dinner. We went there on a recommendation; the service staff was exceptionally friendly, always smiling, great service, good food with some unusual dishes, wait times were okay, the restaurant was full, we can only recommend it and will go again.

The food is really great and the service is friendly and attentive. The prices are very high, and it's annoying that I had to wait over 80 minutes for my pizza on two separate visits... that's unacceptable at these prices, otherwise I could really recommend it.

I ate pizza from South Tyrol, I can highly recommend it, it was very delicious.

On New Year's Eve, eight of us dined at Sale e pane for the first time. The welcome was very friendly, and our table was lovely. The very friendly and competent server made our evening even more enjoyable. The antipasti, salad, spaghetti with seafood, and the delicious pizzas were all excellent. The timing was perfect, too. We were especially pleased to be asked politely if we needed anything else. We had a wonderful evening at Sale e pane and highly recommend it. Thank you, see you soon!

We had our work Christmas party here. The food was delicious and the staff extremely friendly. I highly recommend this restaurant if you're looking for tasty Italian pizza and pasta.

The staff is super friendly. The pizza is good, but the pinsa is pretty bad. By far the worst I've ever eaten. It's not a gourmet Italian restaurant, but it's okay.

We recently ate at Sale e Pane and absolutely cannot recommend it. We had to wait a very long time for our food, and when it finally arrived, we found that our pizzas tasted awful. Despite complaining, and even though we left almost half of each pizza uneaten, we still had to pay full price. We will certainly never go to this restaurant again and will not recommend it to anyone!

Delicious food, excellent service! They also offer gluten-free pasta, pinsa, and gnocchi. It would be great if they had a vegetarian pinsa option. I didn't ask if it could be adapted, though. The staff are very knowledgeable about celiac disease. I'd love to come back again 😊

The appetizer was good. The pizza I had was large and delicious. The hazelnut parfait was very tasty. Our server was very friendly and attentive. However, the table we had wasn't large enough for our Christmas party. Fitting all the appetizer platters onto the table was a real challenge. And when the main course arrived and the giant pizzas and other main dishes needed space, it was very, very crowded. The ambiance is modern and dark. Not classically Italian. But it's not an Italian-run restaurant either. It would certainly be nice for a small group. But not really suitable for larger parties. That's my opinion! Others may see it differently. Furthermore, the entrance isn't where Google Maps indicates! The entrance is accessible from the parking lot. Most people arrive from the wrong side, want to go inside first, and then have to walk all the way around the building to get to the entrance. Very confusing.

Update 2025 (3 stars): The portions have become significantly smaller (pasta), while the prices are really steep. I had seasonal pasta with pumpkin and mushrooms… 3 tiny pieces of pumpkin, a maximum of 2 whole mushrooms cut into small pieces… and that for €18. Pasta isn't that expensive to buy, and it couldn't have been the mushrooms or pumpkin that were the problem. A liter of still water now costs over €10! Sorry, but this is a really bad development you've put yourself on. Unfortunately, I didn't take a picture of the food this time; I've gotten out of the habit of taking photos in restaurants. But we were disappointed. What a shame! The service, however, is still good. 2022 (5 stars): Nicely designed location, friendly staff, and delicious pizza. Prices are good. Everything is pretty much perfect… but there's still room for improvement with the Aperol ;) The glasses were only half full (€7.20 per glass), and the Aperol Spritz was also very weak. What a shame! This could be improved. Nevertheless, 5 stars and we'll be back.

We only picked up the order, but the pizzas were fantastic, great dough, great toppings, very generously topped, only about €20 for a pizza, so the quality and size should be right, and they are.

I went out to eat with my wife for the first time today. Finally got a good pizza again, and I think the prices are reasonable. The staff is very friendly and professional. I was also very surprised by how big the pizza was, and it tasted really, really good. Definitely go there 😜😜😜

We were on our way back and decided on the spur of the moment to stop by Sale e Pane. After a quick phone call and reservation, we received a warm welcome. The entire staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. We were served quickly, and the drinks selection is excellent. From cocktails to wine, beer, spirits, and soft drinks, nothing was left to be desired. Since we couldn't decide between the excellent dishes on the menu, we asked for a recommendation and went for it. After a delicious mixed appetizer platter, our main course was pizza (at least as good as the pizzas directly from Italy) and delicious linguine with salmon. All the dishes were super authentic and extremely good. Kudos to the kitchen, which uses fresh ingredients, and the friendly staff at the bar. We would love to come back and look forward to our next visit.

The pizza was fantastic, both in terms of taste and size. The pasta dishes and dessert were also delicious. The only thing was the bread for the bruschetta starter that was a bit soggy, but it was still tasty. The drinks selection was large enough. It's definitely better to make reservations on weekends, although the restaurant has plenty of seating. The lunch menu is also recommended during the week. It's definitely always a safe bet to eat here.

My husband and I are Italians living in Indiana USA, and are visiting Germany on vacation. We wanted to have a taste of Italy so we decided to try this restaurant. We were not disappointed, the pasta was delicious, as the pizza. Dessert, panna cotta and tiramisu were homemade to perfection. Excellent service. We highly recommend it.

Bring lots and lots of time... We've been waiting for our pizza for almost two hours now. Simple math: the pizza oven fits five pizzas, and the restaurant seats 100 people... Maybe just order pasta?

The food is delicious! I had the seafood spaghetti and it tasted great. We went for dinner on a Tuesday and had to wait a bit longer for the food, likely because we didn’t order any appetizers—which is understandable. No complaints at all!

Hmm. Difficult to rate. Unfortunately, the service wasn't really paying attention to us, which meant we weren't able to order for a long time and unfortunately, we weren't able to order several times. But the service was still very friendly. The food was mixed. My Caprese was very tasty. The bread on my wife's bruschetta was hard as a rock. As were about half of the pizza rolls. My wife's and my pizzas were excellent. Our companions' pizzas were pretty mediocre. A prawn pizza for €19 with five small prawns is quite steep, especially since the crust wasn't fully cooked. Dessert, however, was very tasty. The homemade tiramisu is especially recommended.

We arrived at 7 p.m. with a reservation – we didn't eat until around 9 p.m., and only after repeatedly asking. No apology, no mention of wait times, nothing. Such slow and indifferent service is disappointing. The food itself was good.

We've been there several times since it opened a good three years ago. The pizzas are highly recommended (especially the ones with prawns or ham/burrata), both for their taste, appearance, and value. They're relatively large, well-topped, and cost around €15, depending on your taste. The service has always been very friendly and quite prompt. We'll definitely be back!

Spaghetti Carbonara was too salty

One of the best Italian restaurants in town. The food is very good. The service also leaves nothing to be desired. The decor is great, as is the ambiance with the river flowing alongside. The food sometimes takes a little longer to arrive, but the quality of the food more than makes up for it. A truly fantastic restaurant.

Unfortunately, I have to write a less-than-stellar review. We finally tried the restaurant for my birthday last Thursday evening. I made a reservation with a note saying "birthday." Still, I only got a small table in the hallway :-( . I had received a "Reutlinger Kärtle" (reutlinger card) for €25.00 from my colleagues at lunch, which I was able to use right away. My pizza looked great, but unfortunately a bit bland. It wasn't seasoned very well. My wife didn't like the pinsa either. When we paid later, I used the "card" with the credit. Something went wrong with the server. At first, I couldn't pay the remaining amount in cash, only by card. Then she swiped the card through the handheld terminal several times and debited the remaining amount from my debit card. Since we were already in a bit of a celebratory mood, we didn't check the bill right away. The final amount wasn't announced either. At home the next day, we discovered that only €18.00 had been charged to the card (instead of €25.00), and the rest had been debited from my debit card (total amount, by the way, €48.45). Furthermore, We happily gave the server a 10% tip in cash. The card now has no remaining value, €0.00. So, we were cheated. Or the server gave themselves an additional tip. What a shame. Never again!

We visited Sale e Pane, and despite a full house and a visibly high level of stress, the staff was incredibly friendly and attentive. There was a lively, Italian atmosphere – you can immediately tell the passion that goes into their work. We were particularly impressed by the pizzas: thin, crispy crusts, fresh ingredients, and perfectly cooked in a stone oven. The bruschetta was also outstanding – wonderfully aromatic and beautifully presented. All in all, a thoroughly enjoyable experience. If you're looking for good Italian cuisine and an authentic atmosphere, this is the place to be. Highly recommended.

You can't complain about the value for money. Huge portions, plenty of toppings on the pizza. The service is good and very friendly. However, the taste could definitely be improved; the seasoning isn't very good. There are better pizzerias in Reutlingen.

A very upscale restaurant that serves truly incredibly delicious food. The restaurant is very romantic and elegantly decorated, offering plenty of space for many guests. The staff is very friendly and accommodating, checking in regularly to make sure everything is in order. I would definitely recommend eating here to everyone. I'll definitely have to go back because I didn't get to try all the aperitifs. They were truly delicious. The price/performance ratio was really great. Only one star deducted because the restroom was really not nice. There's a lot of potential for improvement in terms of renovation and cleanliness. Highly recommended nonetheless!

The food was really good, and the service was outstanding. One star deducted for the ambiance, as it was almost impossible to hold a conversation. It was extremely loud in the back room, possibly due to the high ceilings. The restrooms weren't very appealing either. Otherwise, it was top-notch.

I ate at this Italian restaurant at a company event. Obviously I can't give an opinion on the price, but I have to say that we ate unexpectedly well! The appetizers were good! My spaghetti with shrimp and peppers was good, but perhaps a little too spicy, it covered the flavor of the shellfish. The tiramisu was also very good! A tip for dessert, it's better to pair the tiramisu with a cream rather than strawberry and strawberry topping! In any case, everything was good! Congratulations!

Three of us had pizza with an appetizer. The buscetta were very tasty, but could have had more bread. You could taste the love from the chef/baker on the pizza. You could tell that fresh and high-quality ingredients were used.

Had a little birthday party at Sale E Pane. The food came quickly and everything was well organized. The pizzas are very tasty, especially the Diavolo and Burrata pizzas are amazing. We found the scissors for cutting the pizzas original and practical. The waitresses were very friendly and attentive. Overall, highly recommended, it's best to make a reservation.
