Unfortunately, I have to write a less-than-stellar review. We finally tried the restaurant for my birthday last Thursday evening. I made a reservation with a note saying "birthday." Still, I only got a small table in the hallway :-( . I had received a "Reutlinger Kärtle" (reutlinger card) for €25.00 from my colleagues at lunch, which I was able to use right away. My pizza looked great, but unfortunately a bit bland. It wasn't seasoned very well. My wife didn't like the pinsa either. When we paid later, I used the "card" with the credit. Something went wrong with the server. At first, I couldn't pay the remaining amount in cash, only by card. Then she swiped the card through the handheld terminal several times and debited the remaining amount from my debit card. Since we were already in a bit of a celebratory mood, we didn't check the bill right away. The final amount wasn't announced either. At home the next day, we discovered that only €18.00 had been charged to the card (instead of €25.00), and the rest had been debited from my debit card (total amount, by the way, €48.45). Furthermore, We happily gave the server a 10% tip in cash. The card now has no remaining value, €0.00. So, we were cheated. Or the server gave themselves an additional tip. What a shame. Never again!

We visited Sale e Pane, and despite a full house and a visibly high level of stress, the staff was incredibly friendly and attentive. There was a lively, Italian atmosphere – you can immediately tell the passion that goes into their work. We were particularly impressed by the pizzas: thin, crispy crusts, fresh ingredients, and perfectly cooked in a stone oven. The bruschetta was also outstanding – wonderfully aromatic and beautifully presented. All in all, a thoroughly enjoyable experience. If you're looking for good Italian cuisine and an authentic atmosphere, this is the place to be. Highly recommended.

You can't complain about the value for money. Huge portions, plenty of toppings on the pizza. The service is good and very friendly. However, the taste could definitely be improved; the seasoning isn't very good. There are better pizzerias in Reutlingen.

A very upscale restaurant that serves truly incredibly delicious food. The restaurant is very romantic and elegantly decorated, offering plenty of space for many guests. The staff is very friendly and accommodating, checking in regularly to make sure everything is in order. I would definitely recommend eating here to everyone. I'll definitely have to go back because I didn't get to try all the aperitifs. They were truly delicious. The price/performance ratio was really great. Only one star deducted because the restroom was really not nice. There's a lot of potential for improvement in terms of renovation and cleanliness. Highly recommended nonetheless!

The food was really good, and the service was outstanding. One star deducted for the ambiance, as it was almost impossible to hold a conversation. It was extremely loud in the back room, possibly due to the high ceilings. The restrooms weren't very appealing either. Otherwise, it was top-notch.

...I love it! 😍 One of the highlight restaurants from the "Grauergastro" series and one of the best Italian restaurants in RT (IMO). I also love being surprised again and again by the ingredients, preparation, and presentation.

After ordering the food it took about 80 minutes until they served it. The food is very good, but its not worth waiting 80 minutes. There are better alternatives in the city :/

I ate at this Italian restaurant at a company event. Obviously I can't give an opinion on the price, but I have to say that we ate unexpectedly well! The appetizers were good! My spaghetti with shrimp and peppers was good, but perhaps a little too spicy, it covered the flavor of the shellfish. The tiramisu was also very good! A tip for dessert, it's better to pair the tiramisu with a cream rather than strawberry and strawberry topping! In any case, everything was good! Congratulations!

Three of us had pizza with an appetizer. The buscetta were very tasty, but could have had more bread. You could taste the love from the chef/baker on the pizza. You could tell that fresh and high-quality ingredients were used.

Had a little birthday party at Sale E Pane. The food came quickly and everything was well organized. The pizzas are very tasty, especially the Diavolo and Burrata pizzas are amazing. We found the scissors for cutting the pizzas original and practical. The waitresses were very friendly and attentive. Overall, highly recommended, it's best to make a reservation.

Very Germanized. Not classic Italian food. Pizzas are way too big and don't taste like much. I ordered a salad. The menu didn't say what dressing was on it. That's why I was very disappointed when there was a mustard dressing on the salad. We would have preferred to save the money for the panna cotta. Prices are actually ok, but we wouldn't come again.

We were visiting our son from Switzerland and were looking for something good to eat. But what we found here was more than that. The food is absolutely top class, the ambience is very good and the service is absolutely friendly. Our waiter Mick is the epitome of *live the service*. Not only quick and courteous, but also something funny on the lips. Thank you for the wonderful evening in Reutlingen.

The service was good. But unfortunately the food was nothing. My friend had a pizza that gave him a stomach ache at night. I had pasta with shrimps. The prawns were served with pickled peppers. So it tasted correspondingly sour. Unfortunately, the shrimp weren't fresh either. Very disappointing

I had a ham mushroom pizza that obviously had the ham on top. I had severe stomach pain and digestive problems the entire night after eating. I've been here before and everything was okay and my friends' other dishes were also okay, but for me this negative experience is so blatant that I will avoid the restaurant in the future. 15€ is not a bargain for a pizza, so you should use ingredients that are really fresh. After all, it ruined a whole night for me. It's a shame because I haven't had similarly bad experiences at other Grauer restaurants. *edit* Of course, people tend to write about negative experiences; there is enough scientific content for that. If I'm very happy somewhere, I write it down as well. If you read carefully you would also notice that I was with you before and everything was okay. There is always the question of how to deal with criticism. You don't get gastrointestinal problems from being in a bad mood. Since the other guests had the same ingredients except for the ham, I conclude that it was this one. Gastrointestinal problems do not occur immediately, how can you report this to the waitress immediately?

Pasta normal, only flaw decoration of basil dead on top! That is, do you put basil on top of the wilted pasta? Don't wear it if it's not beautiful!

Es war ein gelungener Abend, allerdings waren die Wartezeiten auf das Essen sehr lange. wir haben etwa eine Stunde nach Bestellung des Essens darauf gewartet. Das Essen schmeckte aber lecker und es gab genug Auswahl. Preis-Leistung war auch okay. Die Bedienung war sehr nett.

Es war ein sehr schöner Abend mit tollem Essen. Unsere Wünsche wurden komplett akzeptiert und umgesetzt. Da sich das Lokal immer mehr füllte wurde es auch lauter, jedoch war die nicht unangenehm, da wir etwas abseits saßen. Leider gab es ein Manko. Wir saßen an einer Tür die nicht mehr abdichtet und es zog fürchterlich. Wir haben uns beholfen, indem eine Jacke an die Tür gehängt wurde, was Gott sei Dank ging. Natürlich wiesen wir beim Bezahlen darauf hin und hoffen, dass dies in Angriff genommen und repariert wird.

Extremely delicious food and great attentive service

It was my first time eating at Sale e Pane with a friend and we both loved it. We had a super nice and cozy place. The service was totally friendly and also flexible. My friend can't eat gluten and asked if the kitchen would be kind enough to make the bruschetta with a gluten-free roll she had brought with her. That wasn't a problem at all. Really great! The food was really very good! Price-performance is absolutely right.

We've eaten there a lot now and it tastes fantastic! The pizzas are really incredibly good, the homemade soups are perfect for the weather. The pasta is good, but you can tell that it is a pizzeria and not a trattoria. What was very surprising: the steak. Some of it comes close to first-class steak restaurants. A very very positive surprise. Now we come to the staff: breathtaking. They are always very nice, helpful, open, courteous and always have a smile on their faces, even though the store is full and they really don't have a moment's peace. A big thank you!

We went there three times within 3 weeks because it simply tasted delicious. I can particularly recommend the rump steak with butter truffle sauce with great, handmade noodles. Very good meat, perfectly prepared. Delicious, fresh, white truffle slices. The pizzas are also outstanding. That's why Sale e pane is our absolute favorite! It's very comfortable to sit in, there are plenty of parking spaces nearby, but it's better to reserve in advance!

Probably the best pizza in the area. Very friendly staff and a pleasant, quiet atmosphere. The pizzas are top class in terms of craftsmanship and are definitely worth the slightly higher price due to their size and quality. There is sufficient parking available on site for a fee. Collection is also possible and very uncomplicated. We will be back!

Wir hatten am 28.07.24 einen Tisch für 6 Personen reserviert und hatten einen sehr schönen Platz auf der Terrasse vorgefunden. Das Essen - Pizza und Pasta- war gut und schmackhaft, die Portionen ordentlich groß. Das Lokal kann jederzeit weiter empfohlen werden. Auch der Service war sehr gut, das Personal zuvorkommend und sehr freundlich. Jederzeit gerne wieder. Gruß Joachim

The pizza and the other dishes were really very good and authentic. The service was very friendly, but apparently understaffed. Long waiting times from taking the order to being served (no step under 30-45 minutes). Therefore a deduction, which is not the responsibility of the service staff themselves, but of the restaurant management (personnel planning).

We celebrated our after-wedding party there on July 13, 2024. We often sat down with the branch manager and planned this through together. She always took the time to do it. We had reserved the outer front area for around 40 people. The food and service were incredibly good, and the staff was also extremely friendly. Recommend

Service war wohl unterbesetzt. Es hat über 1h20min gedauert, bis wir unseren Hauptgang nach der Vorspeise bekommen haben. Ansonsten war das Essen gut.
