Salam's Burger in Tübingen

Been going there since 2023 and the burgers were always a good size. Not sure if it is the rising cost of living but the burgers have decreased in size. Last night I went there and the menu has changed. Ordered a smash burger, 7, 50 euro and fries separate it was as small as a mcdonalds burger, the really small ones that come with the thin buns and the smallest patty. I was disappointed. Two bites and it was done.

Mediocre Smashburger with very little meat. The place is extremely loud, and everything costs extra — even the sauce and the box for the burger. Service was also quite slow.

A complete joke. I ordered two burger meals through Liferando. After my lunch break was over (70 minutes after ordering), I canceled the order by phone and left an honest review. It was simply deleted shortly thereafter. Very sad, this is customer fraud and doesn't exactly demonstrate competence on the part of Salam's Burger or Liferando. Never again!

The basic Cheeseburger was the best burger in the range, but was unfortunately removed for some unknown reason. The regular burgers, like the Cheeseburger, make up Salam Burger and are very good. The bun is also usually warm and toasted. The Smash Burgers are not recommended, as they are much smaller and more expensive. The bun also tastes quite sweet and is nothing compared to the buns for the regular burgers. They also use a worse sauce for the Smash Burgers. I have no idea why they made them so different from the good regular burgers. All in all, a very good burger place if you know which burgers taste good.

Very good burger. Not recommended if you've been drinking alcohol. It sits heavier in your stomach than a ton of lead, and when you throw up on the avenue of plane trees (first tree on the left), it feels like gravel. Honestly, you won't get far there. The vegetarian and vegan burgers are super delicious. Especially if you come during off-peak hours, the falafel is perfectly cooked, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, and perfectly seasoned. The vegetables are fresh, and overall, the (vegetarian and vegan) burgers are hardly greasy at all. Simply perfect.

The food is highly recommended—fresh and delicious, and the service was excellent. The nice thing is that when you sit inside, you don't smell the food. We'll be back.

Well...for €13 on the menu, the portion is almost ridiculously small...a burger with a half-baked burger and about 15 fries...you'd be better off eating a proper kebab, folks. I won't be going there again...especially since they call themselves the "Best Burger in Town"!!

Yes, first of all the food arrived late, then part of the order was missing and no one could be reached. I've never seen worse organization, honestly don't order there if you want to keep your nerve. PS: I honestly haven't ever eaten crappy fries

I ordered via Lieferando, delivery arrived after about 40 minutes, which I find really quick for a Lieferando order. The food itself arrived to me still warm and was absolutely convincing. The patties looked and tasted like they were freshly made, so no frozen crap like that, and they just tasted great. I will happily order here again and can only recommend the store.

Never again!!!! I ordered via Lieferando and had to wait almost 2 hours. After I called to ask why the app said the order had been delivered but it hadn't arrived yet, the owner said the delivery person was on the way. Half an hour later the food arrived ice cold, there were unsalted fries and the buns on the burger were hard plus the lettuce and tomato were completely missing. My drink wasn't there either - they said he would bring it later, but he didn't come and there were no apologies, just some pointless excuses. It's a shame about the money, because in the end everything ended up in the trash because I wouldn't even do something like that to my dog. The fact that a juice shop like this calls itself “best burgers in town” is really an outrage.

Fries very salty and not quite cooked through. Burger (Smashburger) very small and hardly anything on it, tastes good but really poor for the price. Very nice service - very quick preparation. We took it with us (Togo) and it was very, very cold in the restaurant.

A big plus point is that the food can be prepared quickly. The food was okay, but you can definitely find better alternatives for the same price. It would be particularly important for non-residents to point out during deliveries and collections that additional packaging costs will be incurred - or to factor these directly into the prices. That would be much more clever than pointing this out when you pick it up. Not everyone has extra cash with them for orders that have already been paid for. What was particularly disturbing was that the employees didn't even know how much the packaging tax was. If this is charged extra, you should also be informed about it. The confusion of the staff also affected friendliness.

Too small size portions for the price you are paying. A smash burger is supposed to contain 2 half-sized patties, otherwise you end up paying the same for half the burger. Rather go to Bürgermeister, less than 500 meters away.

We experienced it for the first time this time last year; I had the beef burger and my wife had the chicken burger and I had the chance to taste both, they were really delicious. We wanted to go again this year just for that burger and we both ordered the cheese chicken burger. It was truly disappointing. It was like they put fried dry nugget pieces in it instead of chicken burger patties. The meatballs weren't even whole. The taste was extremely mediocre. I won't go again.

Employees also secretly give free food to those in need. Very very cool action! :-)

Their burgers are really good and also halal but their service is not good. They need to improve their service. Location is also good(2-3 mins walk from Neckarbrücke).

The store doesn't have particularly good food. But the staff is very friendly. You can eat outside and inside, but there are times when very little is available. Takeaway food even costs extra, advertise packaging times.

Since I moved to Tübingen, I loved their burgers. But over this year, their food quantity has been affected and they are unable to handle loads of customers. I ordered from them on 23 April 2024, a chicken cheese burger and chilli cheese fries. They gave me my order after about 1hr and 15 mins. They kept sending orders out for online delivery. Also when I went home with my order there was literally so less cheese on my fries, wouldn’t call them chilli cheese fries 😂 I ordered again from them yesterday ( 13 May’24 ) and I always order their chilli cheese fries but yesterday I did not because I was not sure if they would add cheese or not. Also they DO NOT WEAR GLOVES while working!!! Please I once found HAIR IN MY FRIES!!!!!!!! Please wear caps and gloves while working hygiene is IMPORTANT

Yes it is a holiday, yes there is a little more going on than usual - I completely understand. But when you order two burgers and two side dishes, you wait 20 minutes and pay €25 for them BUT then when you get home you notice a damn burger is missing?! There were around 3 customers waiting after us, but the service was still very overwhelmed. Price performance for a snack is already expensive.

No exaggeration, the best burger I've had in Germany so far in my 4 years. I won't say it's the best I've had in my life, but all the ingredients were super fresh and you see them preparing everything right in front of you, and they use the best burger buns I've had in Germany. And it's also the best beef bacon (halal) I've had here, definitely would recommend the bacon burger. And the manager/owner Abdallah was super friendly and nice and he helps create this super welcoming atmosphere. Highly recommend

Decent burgers, but very high prices. At burger joints that are a little further away from the city center you get the same amount for half the price. The service is friendly, but you often have to wait a little longer for the burgers. There is virtually no ambience, there are only a few chairs and tables in the room in front of the checkout.

Top Top Top!! Honest! The Chilieese Burger is simply the best in my opinion! My absolute favorite burger here. Normally I never rate a restaurant, but they deserve it. Very nice staff! They were about to close last night, but they were kind enough to do something for my buddy and me. To top it all off, we even got fries on the house, just sooo correct!! Absolute recommendation. Stay as you are! The prices are perhaps a bit expensive and could perhaps be lowered a bit, that's true. Nevertheless, the taste doesn't get any better than this! :)

Ordered food and the delivery time was confirmed as 44 minutes. After 90 there was still no one there - then a call came saying we were leaving now it was full.. we will really never order there again, no compensation and nothing! Burger packaging was completely wet and soaked with fat.. REAL DISAPPOINTMENT
