We still got a table for three people without a reservation. All three burgers tasted very good. The staff was quick and very friendly. We didn't have to wait long for our food.

Very friendly seating assignment, drinks arrived within minutes. Ambience alternative and successful. However, we had to wait for the food. Two vegetarian dishes were ordered, of which the Plant Base Steak was supposed to come from the 3D printer. However, it seemed to be printed only when ordered and then prepared. At least that's how it seemed to me, waiting an hour and a half for the food, while all the other tables around us were getting food and some were already finishing it. Even though we were the first to get our table and order the food. There was also no apology from the waitress for waiting while everyone who arrived after us was already eating, nor any form of compensation. After speaking to the waitress twice, the response was “the food will be coming soon”. Immediately pulled out. When the food came it was very tasty but not very filling, but it was good for an experience. My partner was sufficiently full after a high muskroom. Special requests were taken into account when ordering. However, when we brought them, the other fries that we had also ordered were forgotten. As I remembered, they came quickly. Dessert was very sweet with souffle and warm cheesecake. At almost 100 euros it's not a really satisfactory experience, but it's worth an experience.

Best burger in town, I say as a native of Tübingen. Top meat, top quality, 10/10 fries. Not exactly cheap, but absolutely justified for this culinary delight. Gladly again at any time!

Cool burger restaurant. I had the Beyond Burger with the rosemary fries; both very tasty and made with a lot of effort. The staff was also very courteous and friendly. However, I had to wait 50 minutes for the burger and around 65 minutes for the fries... Since the fries were on the house, I turned a blind eye again.

Appetizers were great and the rib eye with herb butter was one of the best steak dishes I’ve had in quite some time. It was perfectly cooked to med-rare.

Wir waren heute hier und können es nur wärmstens empfehlen! Als Vorspeise gab es ein unglaublich feines Tatar und einen Caesar Salat, der nicht nur knackig, sondern auch perfekt abgeschmeckt war. Der Hauptgang war ein absolutes Highlight: Der Burger – saftig, aromatisch und mit köstlichen Fries serviert – war einfach sensationell. Doch das absolute Meisterwerk war das Steak. Perfekt Medium rare zubereitet, selten so auf den Punkt getroffen, mit einer zarten Konsistenz und intensivem Geschmack, der seinesgleichen sucht. Das gesamte Menü war ein wahres Fest für die Sinne. Wer Qualität und Genuss sucht, wird hier definitiv fündig. Super netter Service.Absolute Empfehlung!

Charming service and memorable tastes

Price-performance wasn't right for me personally. In particular, the sauce (I think it was some kind of cheese sauce) on the burger was too overwhelming. I don't need that on the burger. The service was friendly.

Went to Hills for the first time today. We were skeptical due to the many negative recessions. We were welcomed very friendly and served quickly. After about 15 minutes of ordering, we were informed that my starter was sold out and that I could choose another one on the house. I thought it was great, but not bad, it can happen. Great accommodation. The starter was very tasty, as were the burgers and fries. For dessert there was also, on top of that, an espresso on the house. We were definitely not here for the last time today. Highly recommended. We can disagree with all the negative recessions. Everything was great for us and we were very satisfied.

It was all very tasty! There were three of us there and we ordered the same dessert at the same time. Unfortunately, two desserts arrived 20-30 minutes after the first, so we couldn't eat our desserts together. Very funny. Especially on a Sunday when it wasn't very busy or stressful. But it tasted very tasty, even though all three desserts were cold. Plus, tap water costs €2, which I honestly think is pretty cheeky. The reasoning behind this was that they would at least offer tap water, which wouldn't be the case at all in other restaurants... Well, I haven't experienced that anywhere yet. Overall, a nice evening if you have some time to wait for your food.

Was there for the first and certainly not the last time. Burgers of great quality, the rest of the food ditto. Prices ok. I think that you pay a certain “tourist and view bonus” but it’s definitely worth it.

**Receipts We were at Burger Hills and tried the BBQ and cheeseburger once and have to say that the size of the burger was quite convincing. However, I found it disappointing that almost every little thing, such as the dip for the fries, had to be paid extra for. Given that the price is already quite high, it would be desirable if at least the fries were included in the price - that would round off the dish better. We paid a total of €50 for two burgers, a portion of fries, a dip and two shandies. I definitely expect more for this price. I was particularly unconvinced by the meat in the burger: unfortunately it was very bland and too thick. Here I would suggest using two thinner patties instead of one thick patty and seasoning them better. That would significantly improve the taste experience. Overall, I think the price-performance ratio is not right. In my opinion, the idea of ​​charging for each extra separately at such prices should be reconsidered. The taste of the burger also leaves room for improvement, especially in terms of seasoning and preparation of the meat.

One of the best burgers I've ever had. Service was good but took a while. The restaurant itself is beautifully decorated with outdoor seating. In the middle of the old town it can actually only be reached on foot.

A little bit disappointed, on this price range had higher expectations. The patty was dry and the taste was just ok. Service was excellent and the location is lush. Good portions and not a bad burger, but definitely overpriced. Expensive fries and even the sauces are expensive.

The concept itself is good. However, the quality of the food needs to be optimized. The burgers are dry and quite heavy. You have flatulence (and last time even diarrhea) immediately after eating. You order fries and get rosemary potatoes (paid extra). AND it's overpriced!!! (70€ for 2 burgers and 2 drinks)

Super nice location but burgers at best middle class. Just warmed up. Cheddar cheese resembles an indefinable sauce. Unfortunately no real recommendation when it comes to food.

So the service was very nice. But the burger, especially the dry aged burger, was simply the worst burger I've ever eaten. The taste was simply 0, nothing. Burger base was completely soaked. Too few lettuce leaves or old lettuce leaves that could not absorb the juice from the meat. I complained, but other than a “I’ll let you know” it didn’t have any effect. There were two of us there and we left around €80. Ambience outside on the mountain ok. As far as burgers go, it was the first and last time. Saturday

Standard cheeseburger with wholemeal bun: freshly grilled tastes different and the bun was dried out.

So, we were there recently for the second time, about a year apart. Last time I remembered that we had waited quite a long time for the food. But since the food tasted good, we went there again. This time they outdid themselves, we ordered around 8:30 p.m. The restaurant was busy, but most people had already eaten. When there was still no food at 9 p.m., we asked, and all we got was "Yes, yes, it's on the way, it'll take another 5 minutes." 9:30 p.m. and still no food, after repeated requests an excuse that points to a (solvable) problem in the order chain. If we hadn't checked, we would probably have gone home hungry when the store closed. The burgers were tasty, but the fries were cold and the buns on the burgers were swapped. Then gave 1 drink/cocktail per person on the house. Nevertheless, the bill took my breath away, €140 for 4 people. 1 burger each and 2 portions of fries together. The food isn't that good...

There were 3 waitresses for 8 tables, but a lot went wrong. We got our drinks and food quickly. The elderberry/currant lemonade was incredibly tasty. However, my portion of sweet potatoes was lukewarm, soggy and totally stuck together and had zero salt or seasoning. I had the feeling that they were the first at the pass before the other dishes were served to us. The ketchup we ordered was forgotten. When I asked, the waitress said she would bring the ketchup straight away. After 10 minutes another colleague came and I asked again. Now I could eat the fries cold. The other waitress stopped coming to the terrace. Preferred to hang around in the empty dining room. My companion's Caesar salad had too little dressing and was super dry and had no salt or any other taste. Super thick, lightly toasted slices of bread were served with this,

The slightly smaller waitress with the glasses was polite and courteous. The citizen was also very tasty. I would love to eat here again.

The reservation for the first European Championship game was really easy. Done quickly and easily online. The food was very good, we had a Caesar salad as a starter, and for the price we got significantly more than expected. The location itself is also very nice, you sit opposite the hotel at the castle and almost at the gate entrance to the actual castle. The staff is also very friendly and accommodating. Orders are taken quickly and processed quickly. If you're looking for a good salad and a good burger, you've come to the right place.

The burgers were one of the best I had in Tübingen. I would recommend the Texas BBQ as it has all the ingredients you want in a good heavy burger. We also ordered a side of fries with jalapeño sauce (Chili cheese fries), but it was not so good.The sauce was thick and pasty. Fries alone were yum!

The steaks tasted good, but unfortunately the T-bone cooking level wasn't quite right. Value for money could be a little better, but you're probably paying for the location.

Burger patties certainly come from the freezer. For the mega expensive price you would expect something different. It doesn't taste good and they don't respond to special requests (just a different sauce). A pity.

Spontaneously got hungry while sightseeing today and came across this restaurant. A cute atmosphere right outside the gates of Hohentübingen Castle, very friendly staff and a spacious terrace made for a good first impression. Our service was quick and courteous. The menu is not particularly extensive, but there is something for every taste. The three of us had the Texas BBQ burger, the Oh my Goat burger and the chili cheese fries and the food made the good impression even better. The burgers were a combination of fresh vegetables and juicy patties, tasted like a dream. The chili cheese fries were also a poem. I almost forgot the rosemary fries with aioli, they were a fantastic accompaniment to the burgers. I found the prices to be really reasonable for what you get. Clear recommendation from us 👍🏼

Prices are a bit cheeky, burgers are not served with side dishes, you have to order them separately. Just like the sauces for the side dishes, €1.50 for ketchup is really over the top

Great atmosphere and service! They gave us extra fries because they didn’t have enough the first time they brought them out. Very cute of them. Beware of the Monster Burger!! It has 3 PATTIES! Very delicious but puts you into a food coma. Will come again!

Burger Hills was initially really good, but now the food is mediocre, but the prices are outrageous. The fact that a burger for 16 euros doesn't come with fries and then at just under 25 you end up without a drink is not justified. You're being ripped off here.

Price performance doesn't fit here. The burger tasted okay. Unfortunately it was well done and not medium as desired (also at the whole table). I also find the prices for ketchup etc. far too expensive and simply not appropriate. (Meanwhile €1.50 for ketchup or mayo). Fries were delicious. The service is a bit messy. All in all mediocre.

Offers advertised on Instagram were suddenly no longer available in the restaurant with strange excuses. You had to wait 30 minutes for the drinks after the burgers were there after 10 minutes. Apparently the bar was overwhelmed, for 1x beer, 1x water and 1x soda, this order seems stressful. Accordingly, we were left high and dry the whole time. The service was good, but all in all you definitely don't have to go there anymore.

The burger with sheep's cheese and fig jam tasted good. We assumed that French fries would be included at this price, far from it. The staff was nice. The price is too high. Once is not a time, not again.

The burgers are really very tasty. Side dishes too. The Beyond Beef Burger - i.e. the non-meat "patty" - could be bigger. I found it a bit small under the burger bun. The burger was very tasty. The real meat burgers are bigger. Eating there is quite expensive because you order and pay for everything separately. There is a nice offer for students - but nothing for non-students. It would be nice if there were lunch specials.

Had dinner here yesterday and at first the place seemed great when we first checked it out. We were there a few hours before we wanted to eat and asked about reserving a table. The barkeeper told us he could reserve one for us but only on the inside, not outside but that we could sit outside if a table was free. So we reserved a table. We arrived about 30 minutes prior to our reserved time and an older waitress who seemed to be the team leader greeted us and asked if we reserved a table and so on. While taking with us we told her the things I mentioned earlier. The restaurant has two outside areas, one is a really nice terrace, that we wanted to sit on in the first place and the other is a weird kind of hallway between the restaurant and the terrace. Since the tables in the 'hallway' weren't nice we didn't want to choose a table there and wait. As mentioned before we were around 30 minutes early to out reservation anyways. The waitress was really pissed and unfriendly to us when we told her about our plan to wait until our reserved time in order to get a probably nicer place and pushed us towards taking a table or not eating there. I found this to be absolutely inappropriate and unprofessional. She then lied to us about the top terrace being reserved for an alleged class meeting and that we would not get a table there. Obviously there were other people sitting not belonging to said meeting and also there were reserved tables, even though the barkeeper told us they don't reserve tables there. So we gave in to the unfriendly waitress and sat down in the weird 'hallway'. There were even people leaving from the top terrace and others coming in and sitting down at their table (not reserved ones). We then ordered our burgers and drinks. My girlfriend ordered an alcohol free cocktail since she is pregnant. She got an alcoholic cocktail, this is again absolutely unprofessional and a no go! At least the waitress corrected the error and brought a new cocktail. The burgers and fries were alright but nothing special. We went there because we wanted to eat a good burger since the place is all about burgers. I've been to other burger restaurants in Tübingen multiple times and thought this place has to be better since it's a real restaurant and no fastfood place. But actually the only thing increasing was the price not the quality or portion size. We could see that tables on the top terrace became free regularly while we ate there, so I can't understand at all why the waitress didn't let us wait until something there was free. So all in all I can say the food is nothing special and quite pricy (we paid around 50€ for 2 burgers, 2 fries, 2 sauces, a non alcoholic cocktail and a water), also the burger was quite small and I was still a little hungry when we left. You also have to pay extra for sauces to your fries (around 1,20€) which I also found really expensive. I do not recommend this place! If you want good burgers that actually are big and satisfy your hunger you need to go somewhere else.

The barbecue burger at Hills Burger Club was simply amazing. The service was extremely friendly and the food was served quickly. The juicy steak burger is undoubtedly one of the best in Tübingen. We hope that the restaurant continues to offer such culinary highlights – an absolute recommendation! 😊

Excellent burgers! We celebrated our daughter's 18th birthday. We stated this when making the reservation. This is what the birthday child received after paying the bill....another birthday cake (warm chocolate cake with a liquid center)...you could see that we all tried it because we all had a chocolate snout....Very nice service and great restaurant.

Four of us ate burgers here. Reservation worked well and the service was friendly. The burgers tasted good, but they are priced without a side dish that is ordered separately, so they are not inexpensive....The size of the 🍔 is average, but they taste good. Like everywhere else these days, going out to eat is an expensive pleasure. Overall we were satisfied.

We were here for the first time on February 3rd, 2024. We got a table in the basement, really rustic. The service was great and asked every now and then if everything was OK. The two burgers were great, the onion rings as a side dish were a dream! Because of this, we reserved another table for Saturday. We both ate the flank steak and onion rings again. The steaks were a dream and cooked to perfection, the young waiter was just as attentive as the service yesterday. Eating out is fun! We'll be happy to come back next time you visit Tübingen!

We were in Tübingen over the weekend and happened to end up at Hills on Friday evening. We were so excited that we reserved a table again for Saturday. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive. The burgers on Friday and the steaks tonight were a dream! My first choice if I stay in Tübingen again!

Delicious food, unfortunately the names of the burgers are somewhat unpleasant to pronounce. I prefer simple and meaningful names rather than puns. Service very friendly

Hopelessly overpriced so that the beams bend. I ordered a burger for 5 people for €13.90. The side dishes (e.g. fries) cost extra individually. So you can easily get €30 for a burger + a few side dishes or €145 for 5 people with a little tip. The final prices were not clearly stated on our menu. The restaurant itself had a cozy and appealing atmosphere. The service and staff were also friendly. Unfortunately, it's hopelessly overpriced, even for Tübingen. Tübingen isn't that attractive. Therefore: never again.

Ein ganz schöner Burgerladen mit reichlich Platz auch für größere Gruppen. Das Ambiente ist ziemlich gemütlich, der Service sehr gut und die Bedienung freundlich und aufmerksam. Bei den Speisen ist jedoch an manchen Stellen noch Verbesserungspotential vorhanden, beispielsweise bei der Garstufe der Steaks und Patties. Bei den Getränken gibt es nichts zu bemängeln.

Es war genauso wie nach den zuvor gelesenen Rezessionen erwartet: Das Ambiente war schön und der Service war sehr freundlich. Das Essen kam schnell. Die Pommes waren okey, aber auch kein Highlight und auch eher teuer. Vom Geschmack des Goat-Burger war ich leider echt enttäuscht. Er war generell ziemlich trocken, also kaum Soße und das Fleisch war auch sehr durchgebraten und deshalb trocken. Auch der restliche Belag war geschmacklich nicht besonders aussergewöhnlich. Bei einem Burger-Preis von knapp 15€ erwarte ich eigentlich außergewöhnlich guten Geschmack und keinen komplett verfehlten Garpunkt. Insgesamt sind die Preise für Tübingen doch eher überzogen. Uns hat dabei vorallem gestört, dass man für jede Kleinigkeit wie z.B. Ketchup extra zahlen muss. Da für mich Geschmack und Preis-leidtungs-Verhältnis am bedeutendsten sind, fällt die Bewertung dementsprechend aus.

Gute Burger und Beilagen, toller Service

Wir waren hier essen, um den glutenfreien Burger zu testen. Das Ambiente war richtig klasse, wir saßen im Rundgewölbekeller. Der Service war klasse, alles zu unserer Zufriedenheit, wir wurden auch aufgeklärt, dass eine 100% Kontamination nicht ausgeschlossen werden kann. Den glutenfrei/glutenarmen Burger hat meine Frau super vertragen. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Haben ein wunderbares Frühstück mit Freunden in toller Atmosphäre erlebt. Gerne wieder.

War in einer großen Gruppe hier und hatte den Antipasti Burger (kam lauwarm an, wenig gewürzt/geschmacklich lau) mit Süßkartoffelpommes (sehr lecker). Super netter Service, Preise für Burger ok, Getränke teuer. Sauce/Dip/Kräuterbutter für 1,20€ bis 2,50€ on top finde ich schon frech.

Das Hills wurde uns empfohlen, wir sind sehr begeistert und gehen sicher noch öfter hin. Es ist absolut Empfehlenswert

Service super, wurde direkt auf meine schwangere Freundin eingegangen. Mehrfache Nachfrage ob wirklich alles gut ist, mit dem Angebot sonst den Burger auch neu zu machen. Einziger Minuspunkt das sehr dunkle Ambiente unten im Kellergewölbe. Burger extrem lecker 🤤

Der Burger war sehr lecker, doch Burger sowie Pommes waren höchstens lauwarm als sie am Tisch ankamen. Zudem saßen wir unten im Keller, was vom Ambiente leider nicht so sehr ansprechend war, die oberen Plätze sind deutlich schöner. Insgesamt für die gehobenen Preise eher enttäuschend.

Aber hallo super freundliches und sehr aufmerksames Team. In voller Hektik am Samstag Abend wird noch ein Tisch organisiert. Dem Personal muss man ein riesen Lob aussprechen.

The food isn’t great. What’s shocking is that in a burger joint they don’t have cheese but rather… cheese sauce. Waiting time was ok. Had a bit of a stomachache afterwards.

Wir haben unser 2 jähriges im Hills verbracht. Nicht nur wurde uns dazu herzlich gratuliert, auch haben wir zum Schluss einen kostenlosen Nachtisch mit einer Herzchen Kerze bekommen. Auch bei unserem Aperol wurde auf das Thema geachtet und eine Orange in Herz Form dazu gegeben. Ich habe bei der Reservierung im Textfeld den Grund für unser kommen angegeben, aber nicht damit gerechnet dass daraufhin tatsächlich etwas spezielles passiert. Liebe zum Detail und wie immer super freundliches Personal. Das essen auch wie immer: perfekt. Insgesamt waren wir nun schon 3 mal dort essen und können es nur herzlichst weiterempfehlen. 🫶🏻!!

Wir waren gestern in Tübingen zu Besuch und dann hier gegessen. Es war sehr gemütlich, ein schönes Ambiente, sehr gutes Essen, nette und freundliche Mitarbeiter. Eine Kleinigkeit gab es jedoch zu bemängeln....Wir hatten das Studenten Angebot angenommen für NY Flank Steak+Rosemary Fries+kräuterbutter. Als wir das so bestellen wollten, sagte uns die Mitarbeiterin es geht entweder Fries oder kräuterbutter. Aber auf der Karte war das + Zeichen (was man als und versteht ) und nicht / oder, was man dann anders verstehen könnte. Zumal portion Fries stehen in keinem Verhältnis zu der kräuterbutter. Aber das ist wirklich nur eine Kleinigkeit und vielleicht Verbesserungsvorschlag. Sonst war alles sehr toll. Wir kommen gerne wieder

Das Essen und der Service waren großartig. Wir saßen im Keller und da wir eine große Gruppe waren, war das auch total ok. Leider fand ich nur die Atmosphäre nicht so wirklich schön. Oben wäre es viel schöner gewesen.

El lugar es agradable y acogedor. Se puede pasar un buen rato bebiendo algo y charlando en compañía. Sin embargo, a algunas camareras les falta algo de capacidad de tratar con el cliente. Tardaron bastante en traer la comida, pero nos ofrecieron disculpas al irnos y un café. El gesto se agradece. La comida, bastante mala. Los aros de cebolla llegaron refritos, marrones. Nos los cambiaron por otros igual de aceitosos y sin apenas cebolla. El pancake era incomible. Sabía a levadura y parecían fritos con aceite de carne. Asquerosos. Estuve allí hace un mes y me pareció bastante mejor. ¿Han cambiado de cocinero?

Sehr leckere Bürger sogar gf Brötchen möglich. Auch sehr schöne Atmosphäre. Service einfach nur top. Super freundlich und sehr kompetent. Preislich etwas teurer aber es lohnt sich. Hier stimmt alles. Ich komme immer gerne.

Burger has real potential, but the fact that they cook it well done (despite being asked for medium rare) shows they don’t know a thing about how to properly cook beef. I had a beer, but the people I was with asked for tap water, but were charged for mineral water. To add some sugar on top: they charge extra not just for fries, but also sauces. I won’t be returning.

Das Essen an sich in Ordnung abeer viel zu teuer für einen fast lauwarmen basic beyond meat burger und eine mini portion pommes mit über 1€ Ketchup Aufschlag, habe ich schon mehrfach besser und günstiger gehabt das passt nich ganz :/

Der Burger war leider sehr trocken. Fleisch war mehr als durch, obwohl medium bestellt wurde. Service war gut. Die Beilagen waren reichhaltig bemessen und lecker. Alles in allem aber dennoch nicht empfehlenswert, viel zu schade um das Fleisch.

Das Fleisch war zu durch obwohl medium gewünscht wurde, dadurch war der Burger sehr trocken. Die Pommes waren gut, die andere Burger waren auch okay. Wir haben 100€ für 4 Burger, 3 Pommes und Getränke gezahlt, die Qualität war nicht dem Preis entsprechend. Die Portionen hatten aber eine normale Größe.

Wir wurden überaus freundlich und zuvorkommend bedient.

der Kellner ist so süß, freundlich und hübsch :) gerne wieder, vor allem wenn dieser Schnuckelhase da ist ^^

Lockerer Laden mit leckeren Bürgern, Steaks und Beilagen. Preis/Leistung stimmig mit Qualität und Service. Und Cocktails können die auch.
