SAKURA Sushi Cafe in Frankfurt am Main

Super leckeres Sushi! Das Sushi wird auf einer Stein Platte serviert, was einen hochwertigen Eindruck macht. Das Verhältnis von Reis zu Fisch ist hier sehr gut abgestimmt, also nicht zu viel Reis und dafür mehr vom Fisch. Geschmacklich war der Reis sehr gut gewürzt und der Fisch frisch. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und schnell. Hier stimmt das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis.

Kann nur das Maki-Sushi dort bewerten: jede einzelne Rolle war kaputt... der Reis war recht trocken... Bei den vergleichsweise teuren Aal-Makis war über 50% Gurke enthalten (in der Karte steht nicht Una-Kyu Maki, sondern Aal!)... aus meiner Sicht eher enttäuschend

Ein wunderbares, authentisches japanisches Restaurant. Man half mir bei der Auswahl gluten- und laktosefreier Gerichte. Ich konnte sogar Misosuppe genießen. Wir kommen wieder!

Super frisches und leckeres Sushi. Wir waren vor einigen Tagen das erste Mal hier und kommen sicher wieder!

Das Essen war wirklich gut, aber wir waren mit einer Gruppe von zehn Personen dort, und organisatorisch lief alles schief. Schon die Bestellung der Vorspeise war ein Problem: Der Kellner verstand kein Deutsch, und unser japanischer Begleiter kam später dazu, sodass es keine Übersetzung gab. Die Speisekarte hatte keine Nummern vor den Gerichten, und die Hälfte der Menükarten war auf Englisch, sodass jeder etwas anderes bestellte, was den Kellner völlig durcheinanderbrachte. Nachdem die vierte Person bestellt hatte, rannte der Kellner los, um anderen Gästen die Tür zu öffnen. Dadurch verlor er den Überblick über die Vorspeisen und musste mit seinem Handy zurückkommen, um die Bestellungen zu speichern. Es dauerte fast 20 Minuten, bis alle bestellt hatten. Zwischendurch fragte ein anderer Gast hartnäckig immer wieder, ob wir Wein oder Sekt bestellen wollten. Wir sagten ihm viermal, dass wir noch fahren müssten und niemand Alkohol trinken wolle. Die Auberginen-Vorspeise wurde auf einem Teller serviert, der Kellner musste also mit einzelnen Tellern zurückkommen. Die Anzahl der Teller stimmte nicht, also musste er noch einmal kommen. Allein dieses Kapitel dauerte fast eine Stunde, von der Bestellung bis alle ihr richtiges Gericht hatten. Nach zwei Stunden konnten wir endlich das Hauptgericht bestellen, und von da an wurde es nur noch schlimmer. Die Küche scheint sehr klein zu sein, denn jedes Gericht wurde serviert, sobald es fertig war. Das heißt, die erste Person war schon fertig, als die Personen 4 bis 10 noch warteten. Der Kellner fragte, ob wir noch etwas bestellen wollten, aber wir sagten ihm, er solle erst einmal das bringen, worauf wir schon eine Stunde warteten. Mein Sushi kam als Letztes und wurde mit einer Mayonnaise serviert, die nicht auf der Karte stand. Ich hätte mich sonst für etwas anderes entschieden, da ich diese nicht vertrage. Ehrlich gesagt habe ich so etwas Unorganisiertes noch nie erlebt und werde nicht wiederkommen. Für zwei bis vier Personen mag das Restaurant eine gute Wahl sein.

Das beste japanische Restaurant in Frankfurt, absolut empfehlenswert! (Probieren Sie auch die Undon-Suppe.)

Das Sashimi war wie immer frisch und köstlich, aber die Portion war viel zu klein – nicht mal für eine Katze. Peinlicherweise habe ich mein Mittagsmenü in nur sieben Minuten verputzt… Die Kellnerinnen und Kellner in diesem Restaurant waren alle außergewöhnlich attraktiv; eine junge Frau hatte große, freundliche Augen. Für diese Lage ist ein Mittagessen für unter 20 Euro durchaus zufriedenstellend.

Bisher das Beste Sushi in Frankfurt..!!!

Das Restaurant liegt sehr zentral und ist super per Parkhaus oder Bahn erreichbar. Von dort ist man auch schnell in der Shoppingmeile rund um Massimo Dutti & Co. Der Empfang war freundlich, der Service hervorragend – sehr zuvorkommend, erklärend und aufmerksam. Das Essen kam nicht extrem schnell, aber in einem absolut angemessenen Zeitrahmen. Geschmacklich war es für mich das beste Sushi, das ich bisher gegessen habe – wirklich hervorragend und extrem lecker. Besonders empfehlen kann ich das Rollen-Set. Ich freue mich jetzt schon darauf, bei zukünftigen Besuchen noch weitere Gerichte auszuprobieren. Preislich absolut fair für ein Sushi-Restaurant in Frankfurt. Fazit: Rundum stark – Qualität, Service und Lage passen einfach. Absolute Empfehlung! 🍣

Sehr guter Service und ausgezeichnetes Sushi

Ich habe ein Lachs-Sushi-Set und Dango bestellt. Beides war wirklich gut.

Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Abend. Der Service war unglaublich lieb. Glutenfrei essen war kein Problem. Die Qualität vom Fisch war, meiner Meinung nach, hervorragend. Wir freuen uns dieses Restaurant gefunden zu haben und werden definitiv regelmäßig wieder kommen!

Das Essen hat uns hier früher besser geschmeckt. Inzwischen werden schon Soßen über das Sushi garniert auf die wir gern verzichtet hätten. Die Räumlichkeiten und das Personal sind sehr angenehm.

Nach einigen positiven Besuchen bei Sushi Mobile Cuisine im MyZeil wollte ich unbedingt das Sakura Restaurant ausprobieren. Ich hatte: - Aubergine als Vorspeise - Lachs-Sashimi - Thunfischrolle - ein Dessert, das so lecker war, dass ich den Namen vergessen habe - Kirin Bier Die frittierte Aubergine ist ein absolutes Muss bei einem Besuch im Sakura. Wie einige Gäste hier schon geschrieben haben, ist es etwas, das man vielleicht noch nie zuvor gegessen hat. Die Qualität des Sashimi (Lachs und Thunfisch) ist fantastisch. Das Lachs-Sashimi ist in dicke Scheiben geschnitten. Und schließlich das Dessert. Es klingt wie „Matcha Mochi“, glaube ich. Fragen Sie nach der Speisekarte. Bestellen Sie es einfach, es ist so gut, dass Sie danach unbedingt mehr wollen. Das Sakura wird Sie nicht enttäuschen, Sie werden wiederkommen!

Selbst Japaner verstehen die japanische Küche nicht wirklich, aber sie ist köstlich, weil man viel Reis essen kann.

Wow! Wir waren begeistert. Nachdem ich mich längere Zeit nicht mehr in dieser Ecke der Innenstadt aufgehalten habe, war ich angenehm überrascht im ehemaligen „English Bookstore“ das SAKURA zu finden. Ein Innenraum und ein Außenbereich gab es. Wir haben uns für den Innenraum entschieden, der mir mehr gefiel weil „cozy“. 😉 Die Speisekarte war in eine Mittags- und Abendkarte unterteilt. Die Abendkarte entsprechend umfangreich mit einer ordentlichen Auswahl an Sushi, Sashimi und Co. Wir bleiben beim „Wintermenue“ hängen und die Auswahl daraus war für uns sehr empfehlenswert. Algensalat, frittierte Lachs-Avocado Rolle, Thunfisch und Lachs Tartar mit rotem Kaviar(W), Lachs Sashimi, Wagyu Sukiyaki (W) sowie Austern Miso Suppe und Matcha Eis. Dazu einen leckeren Saké -„Kuromastu Senjo Junmaidai Ginjo“, Riesling Sekt, Wasser und zum Schluss Espressi. Klingt nach viel ist aber alles überschaubar und trotzdem sehr sättigend. Die Qualität unserer Gerichte, top! Die Speisen im „Wintermenue“ sind ein bisschen ausgefallener. Beim Thunfisch u. Lachs Tartar musste man diese selbst in Noriblätter einwickeln. War einfach und machte Spaß. Am Besten einen Kegel formen, sieht aus wie ne Schultüte, und dann befüllen. Das Wagyu Sukiyaki kam in einem kleinen gusseisernen Topf mit sehr leckerer Dashi-Brühe sowie Zwiebeln, Pilze und Tofu. Wurde am Tisch aufgekocht und dazu gab es das hauchdünn geschnittene Wagyu Rindfleisch, welches in der Brühe für 2 Minuten durchgarte. Für mich ein Genuss! Vor- und Nachspeise rundeten den gelungenen Abend ab. Preislich war ich persönlich angenehm überrascht, Das Personal war sehr freundlich. All-in-all, Thumbs-up!!!

Wir hatten einen großartigen Abend in diesem Restaurant. Die Kürbissuppe, das Kimchi und das Sushi waren geschmacklich herausragend – frisch, intensiv und perfekt zubereitet. Auch die Nachspeisen waren ein echtes Highlight. Der Service war vorbildlich: ein sehr höflicher, schneller und aufmerksamer Kellner, der den Besuch noch angenehmer gemacht hat. Das Ambiente ist warm und einladend, mit schöner Musik und einer Atmosphäre, in der man sich sofort wohlfühlt. Uns wurde der Laden empfohlen – und es war ein Volltreffer. Klare Empfehlung und definitiv nicht unser letzter Besuch!

Waren zum Mittagessen in diesem Restaurant. Das Essen war super lecker und wurde mit grünem Tee und Miso Suppe serviert. Innerhalb einer halben Stunde war zur Mittagszeit jeder Tisch besetzt. Wir waren nicht zum letzten Mal dort.

Gut, kann aber nicht mit den seit langem etablierten Spitzenrestaurants der Frankfurter Sushi- und Sashimi-Szene wie Higematsu, Iwase und Iroha mithalten.

Das Sakura Sushi Cafe bietet hervorragendes Essen und eine fantastische Auswahl an Desserts. Die Küche ist köstlich, und die Desserts sind besonders hervorzuheben. Es kann etwas teuer sein, und bei gelegentlichem Andrang kann es zu längeren Wartezeiten kommen. Trotz dieser kleinen Nachteile ist das Gesamterlebnis sehr gut.

The eggplant with miso sauce was surprisingly delicious. The Gangnam sushi with beef and pickled radish was a nice change from the usual, yet delicious, sushi. It was a bit of a shame that the arugula on the Principal sushi wasn't very good (it had a lot of black spots). Overall, Sakura is a small but fine sushi shop in the heart of Frankfurt's city center.

Excellent service, true Japanese gem in the center of Frankfurt. I have been there many times before I write this review and they are definitely my favourite restaurant for "Nigiri-set" in Frankfurt. Quality of the rice is also superb.

We booked a table spontaneously and were pleasantly surprised by the attentive service. The selection of sushi was excellent - perfect for two. The staff was always there, polite and friendly. We spent a very pleasant evening. We'll definitely come again - we've already made plans!

Finally really tasty and fresh sushi in Frankfurt with reasonable prices. Totally relaxed atmosphere and really nice service. The four of us shared an Oke plate with extras like the fried vegetables and extra portions of spicy tuna, had starters (edamame, kimchi and miso soups - were perfect) and desserts + sake. Thank you for this all-round great evening!

A nice restaurant on Börsenstr. in Frankfurt. Here you can get good Japanese food that is wholesome and tastes good. The service is good and friendly.

One of my favorite places for Japanese food, sushi and delicious edamame. The atmosphere is super calm and the service is very friendly. I've been multiple times and it never disappoints.

Sushi was great quality, but the wait was too long. There were five of us and we reserved a table at 6:15 p.m. We sometimes had to wait half an hour to three quarters of an hour between each order (including between the starters). The store was busy, but not full. So that hunger doesn't hit our stomachs, four of us drank three bottles of wine and filled the hole in our stomachs. And we were allowed to take turns looking at each other with envy between the appetizers while we ate.

Good food, unfortunately there was a very cold draft coming in from the door the whole time and since we were sitting relatively close to the entrance we were constantly freezing.

Japanese restaurant in Frankfurt, Germany It seems to be a chain restaurant, and the taste isn't as good as what you get in Japan, but in Germany it's pretty good. When you enter the soundproofing, they say hello in Japanese, but there is no problem communicating in English. The lunch set is good value for money. I recommend visiting if you want to eat Japanese food in Germany.

We were here on New Year's Eve. The menu was incredibly good and so was the service. Gladly again.

I made a reservation inside, but we were seated outside where it was quite chilly. My friends received their starters and finished eating while I was still waiting for mine. After I inquired about it, the waiter realized she had forgotten to prepare it and went to do so. After a lengthy wait, she returned to inform me that there were no ingredients left for my order. While my friends enjoyed their main courses, I continued to wait for mine and for the starter I had attempted to reorder, which never arrived. When I asked about my main course, the waiter surprisingly asked if I had actually ordered anything. I felt very upset and disappointed, so I decided to leave the restaurant. Overall, the service was poor and, without having eaten, I was left starving and ended up going for a delicious steak elsewhere.

We were here before visiting the Alte Oper. Oke sushi plate for 2-3 people. Super tasty and very good and fast service.

Super bad! Sushi rolls were only partially freshly prepared, fried sushi rolls came cold and not crunchy - seemed old and from the day before. When asked, the only answer was that it depends on when the roll was fried. Funny, exactly our sense of humor. Apparently not fresh, because cold and inedible. With three kinds of fish, the tuna was served in inedible quality (it was gray and didn't taste good) - leaving one left over with three small fish fillets and not asking if you didn't like it is the icing on the cake of poor service. We pointed out that the tuna didn't taste fresh... he didn't take advantage of his chance to bring a new tuna, on the contrary - the restaurant manager seemed uncomfortably stressed and confused. In general there is not a nice atmosphere in the restaurant, the light is far too bright and the hectic atmosphere means we will never come back. It's surprising how the good rating has come about so far - the restaurant is disappointing across the board.

Went only for the Matcha Tiramisu as my boyfriend loves it - he was not disappointed again. Service was very attentive and quick! We sat in the back "yard" with a heater and it was really cozy.

Sakura Sushi Café here in Frankfurt offers a pleasant atmosphere with delicious, attractively brewed coffee. The sushi selection is fresh and satisfying, but could be more varied, especially with the fish sushi options. The prices are slightly above average. Overall, it's a nice place for a casual sushi meal, although the menu is more limited compared to other sushi restaurants in the area.

2024年8月11日（日）に夫婦で夕食でお邪魔しました。フランクフルト2日目でしたが、ホテルへ戻る時に通りかかって、ドイツ人で一杯の奇麗な和食店に魅了されて、事前にその晩の予約をしました（英語で予約に入ったのですが「日本人お方ですか？」と声をかけられ、ほっとしました）。予約時間に再度訪れ、ビール、赤ワイン、枝豆、カラマリ、ナス田楽、エビマヨロール、お寿司を頂きました。海外で日本食を食べることは何度も経験していますが、「SAKURA」さんの和食のクオリティーはとっても高く、とっても美味しかったです。店長さんもとても気さくでお優しく（色々なお話を聞けました）、素晴らしいお店です。知人がフランクフルトへ行く事があれば必ずお薦めします。ドイツ人が枝豆を食べながらビールを飲んでいる姿には何故か微笑んでしまいました。本当に有難うございました！

Lovely sushi restaurant with an outside area which is shared with the dim sum place next door. The food was delicious (between us, we ordered 2x mixed platters of sushi, some starters and drinks).

Decent sushi and dumplings with a food price. On the downside, there's no variety of beer (only small portions of Asian beer). Also, the terrace roof was leaking in the rain

Very nicely made and very tasty if you like Japanese food. If necessary, just let it be a surprise. 👍 The menu has changed a bit (bowls and curry were added), we ate the multi-course sushi/sashimi menu. Requests for changes were responded to very nicely. Tea also tastes very tasty. Very modern interpretation of (vegetable) tempura Map changes again in September

Lovely cute place with nice outdoor seating in the backyard sharing with the Chinese restaurant next door. Sushi is tasty but not authentic enough… sushi price is ok, however the drinks are more expensive. Maybe I had too high expectation on food from the high rating and therefore a little disappointed, but overall good experience, friendly staffs, good location and cozy atmosphere.

I came to Frankfurt with friends to eat sushi. I can't believe how happy we were that we chose Sakura. The sushi is incredibly good, almost the best I've ever had and the decoration, ambience and service were really great. Gladly again!

Few places in Frankfurt have such an amazing Japanese offering. Best part is that the chef, and the staff are native Japanese so the quality is superb.
