Good enough for the price if you never had real Japanese food. Cardinal sin, the basis of sushi the rice was soggy, not sure it was even sushi rice and the taste was OK'ish at best. Kindness of a bummer when you're rolls instantly clump in your mouth. Agadashi tofu definitely not in Dashi and manages to be oily and soggy at the same time... Again I'm sure if you never had good Japanese is passable especially for the price and location.

I'm not going to go to a restaurant where you go in to go to the bathroom and a Japanese man at the bar speaks rudely to you, telling you to spend money and not letting you in.

The food at Sakura is really delicious! Unfortunately the service is not the best, you have to ask several times whether you can order and whether you can pay. Unfortunately, drinks are often forgotten. The ambience inside is not particularly nice, reminds me more of a basement compartment as it is very dark. However, if you sit outside, it is very pleasant.

Very nice, small sushi bar in the middle of Munich city, directly behind the Hotel Bayerischer Hof. Absolutely okay price for the location. The fish soup was excellent.

Not authentic but totally fine for the price you pay. For those who never ate Japanese food before, that’s a place you can try. If you look for more authentic Japanese you have to go somewhere else. I had Yasai tempura and the batter was too thick, it reminded me of those you can eat at all you can eat restaurants. Agedashi tofu wasn’t served with dashi, instead I had something with soy and ginger. Overall it’s ok.

Ein unterschätzter Japaner, der nicht flashy ist, aber auch nicht enttäuscht und so lange hier ist, dass es eine Institution ist. Solide, relativ günstige Mittagskarte. Alles korrekt hier.

Ein bisschen unscheinbar und in nem Durchgang versteckt, jedoch super gutes Essen und schneller Service. Die Preis-Leistung ist lobenswert. Das Ambiente war auch sehr ruhig und angenehm, der Blick in den Innengarten bei Nacht war auch sehr hübsch. 10/10

Klein, aber fein, kommt dieses kleine japanische Restaurant daher. Mittags gibt es kleine Menüs mit Suppe oder Frühlingsrollen als Vorspeise und verschiedenen, aber leider nicht wechselnden Hauptgerichten für ca. 10 Euro. À la Carte ist die Auswahl größer und ebenfalls sehr preiswert. Das Bedienpersonal ist allerdings vom Besucherandrang leicht überfordert und kommt trotz seiner Schnelligkeit manchmal nicht hinterher, was zu kleineren Wartezeiten führen kann.

Absolut lecker! Sehr ruhig was ich aber persönlich super finde. Das essen kam schnell und war auch sehr ansehnlich gestaltet. Kommen auf jeden Fall wieder !

Das Mittagsmenü ist für Münchner Verhältnisse günstig, ca. 11€ für eine Sushiplatte plus Vorspeise. Das Sushi schmeckt sehr lecker und wird immer frisch zubereitet! Man kann dabei in der offenen Küche zuschauen. Der Chef ist zwar etwas eigen, dafür seine Frau umso freundlicher und stets am Rennen, um guten Service zu bieten.

We went for lunch and ordered from the lunch menu. It was reasonably priced for the area. Food was ready in under 5 mins and tasted quite industrial. Service was also not overly friendly. Refused to print a proper receipt as we had not mentioned it early enough. Won't visit again.

Der Betreiber wirkt manchmal ein wenig angespannt, ist aber eher die Sprachbarriere… Preis/Leistung ist für diese Lage top! Besonders Mittags 👍

Wieder sehr lecker und frisches Sushi gegessen. Der Besitzer/Kellner/Sushikoch ist echt ein Unikat 😅 Die Einrichtung ist einfach, aber deswegen geht man da auch nicht hin. Meine Empfehlung!

Das Lokal ist innen sehr pragmatisch, es fehlt mir etwas der Flair. Sushi war sehr gut! Die Udonsuppe ebenfalls. Die Küche ist authentisch japanisch - und der Chef ebenfalls;). Werde öfters zum Lunch kommen.

Uriges Lokal im Herzen von München, muss man schon suchen, ist es aber auf alle Fälle wert. Das Essen sehr gut und geht auch flott, immer sehr viele Leute da. Komme gerne wieder.

Bin seit Jahren Stammkunde und kann diesen kleinen und versteckten Sushiladen sehr empfehlen. Hier kann man dem Trubel der Innenstadt für kurze Zeit entfliehen.

Really nice, small and local place in the heart of the city. We go here for lunch every now and then, they offer a great value for lunch menu with a soup and main. Nice service and good food....will be back
