Disappointing. The waiter initially seated us at a good table; we had almost ordered. Then another employee came and said the table was supposedly reserved for a group of eight, whereupon we were moved to a much worse seat. Shortly afterward, however, only a family of four showed up, who were surprised to be seated there. It seemed like complete lack of planning; frankly, we felt ripped off. No apology, unprofessional service; it ruined our lunch. The food was average and too expensive. I wouldn't recommend it.

Everything was fine until about three hours after my visit to this establishment, I realized I had food poisoning. Apparently, the shrimp in my dish weren't fresh.

The food is really good and freshly prepared. However, the service is forgettable. The waitresses are rather unfriendly and so curt that you feel more like you're intruding than being welcomed. There were two of us there. One had a hot dish and the other had sushi. The hot dish came first, and the sushi only came after the other had almost finished his meal. I don't think that's acceptable. When the sushi finally arrived, we even had to ask for chopsticks. So, as I said, the service leaves a lot to be desired. Therefore, this was our first and last visit there.

This will be our favorite restaurant because everything just fits perfectly. 😀 The ambiance, the service, the food, the menu design, the dishes, and even the house-made soft drinks are all highly recommended. The portions are very large and the price-performance ratio is relatively good. We'll be coming more often now.

We visited Sakura Garten in Alt-Marzahn on a recommendation and were not disappointed. After a short wait for a table, we received a friendly welcome. Unfortunately, an appetizer we wanted to order was no longer available – a shame, but completely understandable. I was particularly pleased that, upon request, they made me a Vietnamese iced coffee, even though it wasn't on the menu – truly attentive and very nice! The staff were extremely friendly overall, the prices were fair, and the food was delicious. We'd be happy to come back.

The food was delicious, and the service was generally good. However, the bill included two drinks we hadn't ordered. The amount was corrected immediately, but without an apology. What was particularly irritating was that the waiter couldn't explain which drinks were involved. Therefore, always check your bill!

Delicious Thai food with a great sushi selection – well worth a visit! A truly lovely restaurant with a pleasant atmosphere and an exciting mix of Thai dishes and sushi. The menu offers a good selection – there's something for both hot food fans and sushi lovers. The green curry was very aromatic and well-seasoned, and the sushi was also fresh and beautifully presented. We were particularly pleasantly surprised by the special rolls. The service was friendly and attentive, occasionally a little slow, but overall very attentive. The value for money is good, especially considering the quality of the ingredients. Not an absolute insider tip, but definitely a place to remember – we'd love to come back!

Honestly, it's small but nice... We arrived without a reservation even though the place was full. They made an effort to free up a table. The food isn't drenched in sauce; it's lovingly prepared... the duck is juicy and not dead like dried meat. Highly recommended.

Wir haben das Restaurant aufgrund der Lage und der Entfernung zu den Gärten der Welt gewählt. Leider wirkt der Aussenbereich etwas lieblos. Auch im Inneren ist es nicht gemütlich obwohl das Restaurant modern ist. Die Vorspeisen waren okay, mehr aber auch nicht.Mein Hauptgericht schmeckte etwas nach buttrigem Bratenfett. Und überall war undefinierbares Dressing drüber. Auch den vielen Salat braucht es nicht. Schade.

A hidden gem! Would recommend for everyone visiting the area.

The two of us wanted to try another restaurant away from the well-known upscale restaurants. To be on the safe side, reservations were made and confirmed for the evening via the homepage. When we arrived we were greeted warmly and noticed that almost all the tables were occupied by guests. Drinks were ordered and after a while we ordered the food from the large selection. The hot soups came quite quickly and tasted very well rounded. After a short break, the main courses came later, two different curries with jasmine rice. The vegetables contained in it were still slightly crunchy, the poultry meat was tender and the curry sauces had a good Asian flavor. We felt comfortable and would love to come back.

The sushi was very fresh and delicious. I can only recommend the soups as a starter! The service was quick and very friendly. We always enjoy coming here to eat.

I've been there twice now and some of the dishes are really delicious, the tempura rolls and tempura shrimp for example. I was rather disappointed with the soups, rather bland for my taste, and the homemade lemonade also lacks taste. Depending on the time of day, the ambience ranges from very loud to pleasant. It was very pleasant at lunchtime. In the evening it was far too loud for me. Very extreme. When it was below zero outside, it was also very cold inside in front of the large windows.

Overall a nice atmosphere. We were there with a group of 6 people on a Friday evening. Unfortunately the tom kha gai is not the usual recipe (fried meat and pineapple?). The drinks (homemade lemonades and iced teas) were delicious, but when you're thirsty the total price increases. The sushi was fine, but I've had better. The effort to arrange everything nicely is acknowledged. The waitresses were friendly, but because of the many visitors you had to actively look around to be able to place the next order. The toilet paper was empty in the toilet. Due to the high utilization of the service, I couldn't say anything. Maybe you need to think about whether better service would be possible with 1-2 fewer tables. Finding a parking space was an undertaking.

The freshest sushi I've ever eaten

Basically yes, but most likely because of the ambience. I ate betel leaf rolls with minced beef, otherwise recommended, but here they were blandly seasoned and not cooked through. Plus miso soup - it was quite ok. My companion ate duck breast, which she thought was a little undercooked. Otherwise ok, especially the sweet and sour sauce. The udon noodles from my second companion were said to have tasted good. The food came in no time. However, cooking the duck and the berel leaf rolls longer would have been a better solution. And: my soup came together with the betel leaf rolls within 3-5 minutes of ordering, so I had to choose which dish I wanted to eat cold.

Super nice service, fast service, the food came very quickly. There is a large selection of food. We worked our way through the starters, very tasty. Access is at ground level. It is a bit noisy in the restaurant due to the layout, but you can also sit outside. Overall a great restaurant.

Worst experience ever. I just left this place feeling sad! 😔 We had a booking for 6:00 this evening for six people. We got there exactly 6:00 on the point. We were shown to our table,but shock on us, no one came to take an order from us. We waited for exactly 25 minutes, with no one from service showing up. We had no option but to leave! Funny enough... no one asked us why we left. This place is blacklisted.

I tried the food here for the first time and unfortunately for me it was over-seasoned. In addition, when I paid, I was asked for more than the price on the card. Only after repeated inquiries did they check and ask for the correct price. That doesn't make a good impression.

The food was delicious and plentiful. The service was also really great. We were there on a Sunday lunchtime. It was very crowded and therefore quite loud. That was the only thing that wasn't so nice.

Good value for money We stopped by late one Sunday afternoon, just the two of us, without a reservation, and it wasn't a problem. The staff is friendly, and the wait time is really reasonable. They also paid a little attention to detail with our platter, which I thought was very nice 😊 The quantity is also quite decent. There's plenty of parking nearby. Definitely recommended, thank you very much, we'll definitely be back again from time to time. 👍🏻

We've been going to this restaurant for several years and were happy. We were disappointed last time. It looks like the team has changed and as a result the quality of the food, presentation of dishes and service has worsened. It's a shame. Nothing lasts forever(((((

We had lunch there on March 16, 2025 with 13 people on the occasion of our birthday. Some of my guests sat in the annex and also ate there. Everything went great there. Fast service, fast food. We sat at a long table in the back. There were two long tables there. Also with companies. An increased noise level from the other tables. Entertainment was hardly possible. The service was friendly and did their best. We waited about 1 hour for our food. The other part of the family had long since finished eating. Food very tasty. Conclusion: Maybe there should be a few fewer people taking orders from tables. The coziness, the ambience and the satisfaction suffer greatly as a result.

The food is just so delicious there. This ambience offers a great feel-good atmosphere, but unfortunately it is always full due to high demand. If you're lucky you can get a table for two without a reservation. My suggestion would be to expand the size of the shop because it's just really beautiful there

Bei unserer Ankunft haben wir spontan etwas gesucht, wo wir noch gut essen können. Es ist sehr gemütlich dort und das Essen schmeckt Mega! Bei unserem nächsten Trip nach Berlin werden wir wieder dort essen! Die Preise sind sehr gut! Auf jeden Fall eine Empfehlung von mir.

Insanely delicious food at great prices. The duck meat in particular was very delicious. Very good value for money. The service was top and was very friendly and accommodating despite the store being super busy. The only thing left is the ambience. The existing retail space is used very well, but the ambience suffers somewhat. You need a bigger store! 😀 Reservations in advance are strongly recommended, especially on Fridays and Saturdays.
