Sakura Garten in Berlin

Bei unserer Ankunft haben wir spontan etwas gesucht, wo wir noch gut essen können. Es ist sehr gemütlich dort und das Essen schmeckt Mega! Bei unserem nächsten Trip nach Berlin werden wir wieder dort essen! Die Preise sind sehr gut! Auf jeden Fall eine Empfehlung von mir.

It was very busy on Valentine's Day, but we received quick and friendly service. Very tasty food, nothing to complain about. The drinks are also creative. Price-performance is right.

I've been there twice now and some of the dishes are really delicious, the tempura rolls and tempura shrimp for example. I was rather disappointed with the soups, rather bland for my taste, and the homemade lemonade also lacks taste. Depending on the time of day, the ambience ranges from very loud to pleasant. It was very quiet around lunchtime. In the evening it was far too loud for me. Very extreme. When it was below zero outside, it was also very cold inside in front of the large windows.

Was there for the first time today. Friendly service and really impressed with the food. I haven't eaten so well in a long time.

Insanely delicious food at great prices. The duck meat in particular was very delicious. Very good value for money. The service was top and was very friendly and accommodating despite the store being super busy. The only thing left is the ambience. The existing retail space is used very well, but the ambience suffers somewhat. You need a bigger store! 😀 Reservations in advance are strongly recommended, especially on Fridays and Saturdays.

We have been eating here regularly for several years. The food is always impeccable and incredibly tasty, no matter what you order. Whether warm food or sushi, you can't go wrong here. The presentation, especially of the sushi plates, is always a highlight, it is decorated with great attention to detail, painted with sauce and written on, it is always fun to discover all the details. Everyone is always friendly, no matter how busy it is and we have never been sent away. A solution is always offered, even on very busy days without a reservation. Absolutely recommended.

It's a shame, I've visited this location several times and have always been very satisfied. Food was very poor (unfortunately there was no trace of curry in the red curry). Service is generally very nice, but empty plates are left on the table for at least 25 minutes and you have to go to the service to order more drinks. It's a shame with the restaurant half full and four people behind the bar. I'll try again in six months!

Some of the tastiest sushi I've ever eaten. Every time I see sushi I think of the maki from this shop and my mouth waters. The restaurant is small but very chic. The juices are also very tasty. Highly recommended.

We were in Berlin on business and were in the mood for sushi. We found the restaurant through Google Maps and were thoroughly satisfied. Very good food and good drinks. You have to pay attention to the service, if that doesn't bother you, this is the place for you. Handmade sushi of good quality, very tasty sauces and well seasoned.

Moderately enthusiastic about dry steak cubes, which were advertised as a grilled specialty. Unfortunately, boring side salads, as well as sushi specialties and basically very tasty scampi, were decorated to death with mayo. Too bad! The Sakura places used to be really good.

Sehr nettes und freundliches Personal beim reingehen wurde man schon herzlich von den Mitarbeitern begrüßt und gefragt was es sein darf bzw. wurde gleich ein Tisch mit Karte angeboten obwohl es schon recht voll war wir mussten nicht länger wie 10-15 Minuten warten und das Essen war sehr gut sowie die Preise die im preisleistungsverhältniss sehr gut wahren kann man nur empfehlen und ein großes Dankeschön an die netten Mitarbeiter für die Bedienung und das leckere essen

Maybe you shouldn't go here on weekends. The devil will come out of it people squeezed into the restaurant. I didn't like the fact that the people sitting next to me at the table were almost sitting on my lap. That doesn't have to be the case. Then you just have to tell people that there is no space right now. But the food is very good. The service could be even better.

Sushi and Starters were great!!

Wantan soup was good. But the main courses were really not good. Tofu not fried or fried properly, see pictures for color. The seaweed salad was inedible and had an alcoholic taste. Hardly any spice. Simple dressing should probably make everything tasty. Seldom eaten so badly. Price also above average. Don't understand the good reviews here...

The food here, especially my dish, was vegetables, tofu with coconut milk and a portion of rice with a salad. It had no spices, the coconut milk was sweetened with sugar, no lemongrass or onions or a little ginger or garlic, so none of that. It had no taste. Definitely not recommended.

This is a restaurant that has japanese, chinese, thai and vietnamese in one place. The portions are huge. Price is medium. We were here on a saturday evening and it was very loud and the food took a while. A starter never got to us

I was recommended this restaurant because I wanted to have a particularly good meal with my wife. When I came in, the first glance told me that it was quite nice, but it didn't exceed the quality of an average everyday Asian restaurant with the typical cross-border menu. This was also confirmed by looking at the menu and at the tables of the other guests. Now the wife wanted to eat sushi, which we did. But hey, this had nothing to do with real sushi. Many people have raved about the store, but I don't like it at all. Even if the service is quite attentive and you eat at the beginning of the Alt-Marzahner Dorf, the prices are quite high for what you get. I alone was only full from a sushi platter for two people! All in all, you can go there, but this place isn't really outstanding.

I was there for the second time because I really liked it the first time. The food is plentiful and tastes good. Unfortunately this time it was extremely crowded and the service staff were quite overwhelmed. Our drinks were forgotten twice and then unfortunately they were the wrong drinks. It was very loud and with the door open, it was quite cold. The request to close the door was noticed, but unfortunately not implemented or not understood...from the comfort factor, I wouldn't go there again, and definitely from the food. Price-wise, two people, two meals, two soft drinks and two cocktails: €75.

A great Chinese. The taste is really very good. We spontaneously made a short stop. We were lucky that there was a table available. The store was super crowded so you should make a reservation. The order was taken quickly and arrived after a short time. The price was also very fair. In terms of taste, it was one of the best Chinese restaurants I've visited so far. Very happy again.

I eat here often. Been with my husband for years. Is now our favorite Asian. The pho soup tastes like mom’s. The sushi is also very good. We have eaten a lot and have always been satisfied. It is relatively narrow and loud. Prices are a bit more expensive, I have to say. Service is nice.

We were here by chance and everything tasted very good. The service was friendly and quick and when there was a small complaint about the peanuts, the problem was quickly resolved. We'd be happy to come back when we're nearby.

Deserves more than 5 ⭐️ stars. I was in this restaurant for the first time yesterday and I was more than impressed. The service is sensational. The food was an 11 out of 10. We were completely satisfied. We had the WAN TAN (I think that's how it's spelled) 🤔😁 Soup, duck and steak plate. A pleasure. Everything is really freshly prepared. The vegetables were still so crunchy and the duck was a dream. We will 100% come back. Price performance completely within the norm. I think you could also increase the prices given the quality. I ate there for the first time today with my husband and we can only absolutely recommend it. Waiters all friendly and nice. Both inside and outside were cozy and quiet, although the restaurant was full, the noise level was very pleasant. The food was perfect, super tasty 😋 and a generous portion. Great restaurant. Very crowded, which speaks for itself. But also very loud. Nothing works without a reservation. Good service, unfortunately our starter was mixed up. But no problem, because the right starter came after a hint.

Very friendly service. Delicious food, something for everyone. It's just a shame that they forgot that they didn't want peanuts on the dish... of course unsuitable for allergy sufferers.

Sushi was very good and satisfied

Waiting time to order and to get food in half empty restaurant was longer than I expected. I had sweet sour with chicken and that was most likely the worst Asian fusion food I have eaten. It looked like the dish didn't have a sauce but a tomato soup and chicken meat was like rubber. Prices for drinks are crazy, 5 euros for 0,4l of juice. Payment by card only from 25 euros, though I might have misheard, but my bill was 20 euros so I don't think it was less. I have eaten in a lot Asian fusion bistros, good and bad, but this was by far the worst - abysmal food, insane prices and lacking service. The worst thing is the restaurant is acting as if they are higher level of dining, when actually it's just really bad Asian bistro in between panel blocks in East Berlin.

One of the two good Sushi restaurants in Marzahn. Can't say much about their entire menu, but the Sake Sushi Menu is definitely recommended.

Update June 2024: Still the best Vietnamese restaurant in the district. However, it is no longer as convincing as in the first few years. July 2017: A wonderful restaurant! Perfect cuisine, excellent service and a harmonious interior. All dishes are freshly prepared and are highly recommended. For the quality offered, the prices quoted are more than justified. The fact that you can now find something like this in Marzahn is a step in the right direction and more can follow.

Delicious food, very nice staff 👍 They also treated my two-year-old very kindly. Clean toilet, also suitable for wheelchairs. The portions are large, but what we didn't manage to eat was lovingly packaged. There are two outdoor areas, also with a roof and heating. (Dear team: We had a small metal spoon with us to learn to eat. If you find it, our grandma would like it back 🙈)
