The food was ok, albeit not particularly authentic. For example, many of the sushi rolls included cream cheese, which isn't typical of traditional Japanese cuisine. That said, if you go in with the mindset that this is “Asian-inspired” rather than authentic, you might still find it satisfying. The prices were also quite reasonable. The main issue for us was the service. As tourists from the UK, we asked whether the chicken or tofu pho was made with chicken/vegetable broth or beef stock (as we’ve had issues with this elsewhere). The waitress seemed visibly frustrated by the question, and although she did clarify that all pho was made with beef stock, the interaction felt a bit dismissive. There may have been a language barrier, but it still left us feeling uncomfortable. To add to that, when we paid in cash, we accidentally came up 10 cents short—a simple mistake as we’re unfamiliar with the local currency. Instead of calmly pointing it out, the waitress responded in a way that made us feel awkward and embarrassed. Unfortunately, the service experience left a sour note, and despite the acceptable food and affordability, we wouldn’t return based on this visit.

I had a wonderful experience at Bonjour Vietnam. The food was authentic, fresh, and full of flavor – especially the phở and fresh spring rolls, which really stood out. The service was warm, attentive, and made me feel welcome from the moment I walked in. The atmosphere is cozy with a nice balance between modern and traditional touches, perfect for both casual meals and special occasions. I’ll definitely be coming back and would highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys genuine Vietnamese cuisine.

Excellent experience for a quick dinner in the heart of Berlin. The lady is very kind and quick. The food is excellent and truly delicious! The crispy duck with rice and potatoes in a coconut milk sauce is a must-try.

We were pleased that the menu listed allergens. However, contrary to the labeling, the sushi 🍣 was ​​not gluten-free. This only came out by chance during the conversation when ordering. So we simply left, but things could have turned out differently. Diarrhea and vomiting. Please change the labeling.

Edit: I came back and tried other plates. Simply amazing as expected. Iam very surprised I haven’t heard of this place before. The food there tastes delicious, the presentation is very pretty, the service is very amicable, the location is very central, the atmosphere is great and the prices are fair. So yeah, definitely surprised I’ve only became aware of it now. Definitely gonna come back more frequently to try more dishes.

Amazing and healthy food, friendly staff

Meine Frau und ich wollten heute Abend noch etwas asiatisches essen und unsere Wshl fiel auf das Bonjour Vietnam. Auffällig war beim Betreten des Restaurants, dass es nur sehr spärlich besucht war. Wir entschieden uns für Hähnchen mit Wokgemüse und Nudeln sowie eine kleine Sushiauswahl. Die Sushi: Geeeht so-, aber das Hähnchen aus dem Wok war völlig geschmacklos! Man ruft hier zwar sehr moderate Preise auf, aber angesichts dessen, was man bekommt, nicht empfehlenswert!!!

A nice, small, Vietnamese restaurant on the side street with a beer garden. I have known this restaurant and their staff since it opened. I particularly like the Vietnamese soups here. It has about 50 seats inside and another 50 seats. It can get a little more crowded outside of lunchtime, but you should make a reservation if you want to go there in the evening. The price-performance ratio is good at this location.

The Vietnamese restaurant is simply fantastic! Authentic food made with fresh ingredients, a wonderful atmosphere and friendly service. The Pho and the summer rolls in particular are an absolute highlight. Perfect for a culinary short break to Vietnam – highly recommended! 🌿🍜

Although the food is not authentic, it tastes good. Maybe it’s to accommodate local tastes, or maybe it’s due to restrictions on ingredients. I ordered beef pho and the soup didn’t taste like Vietnamese beef pho at all. It was very light and tasted like shredded chicken pho. The taste of udon is good, just like the Maggi soy sauce commonly used in Asia. The best flavor is the curry chicken rice, which is slightly spicy and the rice is moderately soft and hard. Lemon ginger honey doesn’t taste like honey, but it’s okay Sometimes it’s not easy to eat authentic Asian food in a foreign country, but this restaurant tastes good and I can come back.

I was very disappointed with the vegetarian and vegan selection. Almost all dishes contain fish sauce. So I opted for the "vegetarian" spring rolls, but unfortunately they were also served with a fish sauce sauce. Piccolo ristorante Vietnamita a Berlino. Locale accogliente con arredi particolari che ti fa stare bene dal primo istante. Abbiamo ordinato due zuppe meravigliose: Una a base di latte di cocco con verdure e l’altra il classico Pho ma con manzo. Una favola! Una birra grande ed un te al gelsomino… tutto per 28€ Da tornarci assolutamente.

Heerlijk eten , mijn smaakpapillen zijn verwend. Ook het oog wil ook wat, rijst in de vorm van een hartje en het bord was prachtig opgemaakt. Je zit niet dicht op elkaar. Personeel erg vriendelijk en let goed op of je nog iets wil. Aanrader.

Overpriced lunch: what’s the purpose to call the menu “lunch menu” when you have small summer rolls for 6€ which is normal price for it. Food is ok, could have fresher taste - the main advantage is location, so people can run fast to the office, but if you are ready to walk a bit there are more options with better price/quality balance

The food is very delicious, very aromatic. It is the best wasabi I have ever tried, spicy but aromatic, so much so that I ate a little wasabi alone, the sting went up to my nose but it was still delicious. I love soups too.

The menu is a wild ride through various Asian cuisines. Since the name of the restaurant suggests Vietnamese, I tried a Bun Bo Saigon once. Whatever was on the plate was just far too far removed from any authentic taste. For a price of €12.90 I simply expect authenticity. Service was efficient and fine.

Fantastic Vietnamese food tucked down a quiet street in Berlin - we were lucky to stumble across it because it didn't initially come up on Google search. We tried to go a second time but it was closed Sunday, we ended up at another Vietnamese place which was nothing like as good as here.

The food was great and the service was quick and super friendly.

So, the pho was a bit of a letdown—no basil, fish sauce, or chili in sight, which was kind of a bummer. 😕 Like, come on, those are the basic ingredients! But the sushi was on point—5 stars, no question. 🍣👌 The service, though? Good surprise for this restaurant, the atmosphere is very pleasant. The establishment is clean, nothing to report. In terms of dishes, everything is OK, of the three different choices that we tried, all three were good.

Esta comida es promedio. No esperes nada especial y no te decepcionará. El servicio era desagradable en el mejor de los casos. Nuestra solicitud de una ensalada sin aliño fue atendida con tanta negatividad y agresión que estuvimos cerca de irnos. Sin embargo, nos quedamos e irónicamente, se produjo una ensalada maravillosa. Estaba claro que cualquier solicitud de modificación no es bienvenida por lo que no iría si tiene alergias.

The food was amazing! First time trying vietnamese food. The coconut soup was delicious. Great service, food came quick and the atmosphere in the restaurant was cozy. The prices was also reasonable. Everyone should try this place!

Bonjour Vietnam gibt es in zahlreichen deutschen Städten, die Berliner Filiale liegt zentral in einer winzigen Seitengasse der Friedrichstraße. Das Restaurant wird mittags recht gut frequentiert, denn bis jeweils 16 Uhr bekommt man hier montags bis freitags ein preiswertes Angebot. Ich war von meiner wunderbar cremigen, vollmundigen Kokossuppe mit Garnelen sogleich vollständig überzeugt. Mein gut sättigendes, auch optisch ansprechend präsentiertes Hauptgericht "Pho Tron" war ebenso köstlich und empfehlenswert: Reisbandnudeln in roter Currysauce mit Huhn, Salat und Erdnüssen. Die Sauce geschmacklich gehaltvoll und reich, aber nicht sehr scharf, die Hühnerbrustfiletteile gut gegart und nicht trocken, der Salat frisch -- alles in allem ein Beweis, daß man mittags auch preiswert und sehr gut speisen kann. Aber wie lange noch? Am Ausgang drängt sich ein Schild ins Blickfeld, daß die Preise demnächst "angeglichen" werden. Was das heißen soll, kann man sich ja leicht ausmalen.

Bonjour Vietnam pleased us greatly. Our only regret was not having capacity to eat more. We went several times. One night we chose Vietnamese food, another night Japanese. All excellent. The location is down a dead end lane. So, very quiet. The lovely staff is all Vietnamese.

Bonjour Vietnam warms your heart and stomach. Very friendly service and Vietnamese delicacies really picked me up. The ginger tea was one of the best I've ever been served and the hint of cinnamon in the fall curry was balanced and enchanting. The dumplings as a starter are highly recommended! Looking forward to trying more. Again any time!

In einer kleinen ruhigen Seitenstrasse von der Friedrichstrasse gelegen, bietet das Bonjour Vietnam südostasiatische Küche an. Im Restaurant ist es vom Licht und der Einrichtung her im Vergleich zu anderen asiatischen Restaurants sehr gemütlich. Das Essen war sehr lecker, schön dekoriert und preislich okay. Nicht zufrieden waren wir mit der Freundlichkeit unserer Bedienung. Diese war knapp angebunden und schien uns nicht gerne bedienen zu wollen (das Verhalten zeigte sich auch den anderen Gästen gegenüber). Schade, denn die Köche und die andere Servicekraft schienen herzlicher zu sein. Da Herzlichkeit einer der grossen Pluspunkte eines asiatischen Restaurants ist, fällt uns das hier besonders auf,

Personalen var ganska trevlig även om de var mycket stressade då det var fullt med folk. Restaurangen var fin och det var någon speciell känsla man fick av den som gjorde en nyfiken och exalterad. Maten var fantastisk särskilt sushin, något jag först inte tänkt beställa då det var en vietnamesisk restaurang. De andra rätterna vi beställde in var också fantastiska men det var sushin som gjorde dagen.
