Very nice evening with good food at reasonable prices and friendly service. Gladly again

The two of us were there spontaneously on Saturday evening, without a reservation. We were lucky and got the last place, after us spontaneous guests were turned away. Service was very friendly and on the ball. We sat at the table with the sofa, very comfortable. Fish platter for two was very rich and very, very tasty. At my request, fish was prepared gluten-free, but still fried very well and crispy. In my opinion, the hake was the tastiest. But pollock and cod were really good too. Fried potatoes were addictive… salad and vegetables were ok, but nothing more. Delicious house wine, Riesling liter bottle for €13.50… very successful evening 😋

Uncomfortable weather and a desire for ice cream led us to Sailor's on an autumn day. The restaurant was extremely busy because a tour bus operator was staying there. Nevertheless, we found a seat and were served promptly. Extremely friendly staff, delicious ice cream. We'd love to come back!

Our favorite restaurant for years. Super Service. Nice, helpful staff who make everything possible and a great selection of food and drinks that are all recommended. We are already looking forward to the next time.

The food is delicious and the portions are fairly priced. The service is attentive and friendly and it's very comfortable to sit here. Everything seems clean and the location is beautiful.

Excellent food and generous portions. We had the fish platter for 2 people. You should have eaten little to nothing during the day or walked here from Kühlungsborn, then the plate is manageable. (mushy vegetables and also the so-called BRAT potatoes. A soft, wobbly piece of fish🤮. All for a price of almost 60 euros for 2 people. NEVER AGAIN

Well, I have to say, we were served by far the worst food of the summer of 2024 there. I can't think of anything else about Sailor's!!!

Wir waren heute mit gewisser Erwartung einkehrt, leider sollte man vorher die Rezessionen anderer lesen. Aber man vertraut auf das Ambiente. Wir wurden leider enttäuscht Seehechtfilet mit Tiefkühlgemüse und sonstige Beilagen wie Gurke und Weißkraut aus der Konserve, daß im Sommer unverständlich. Ein sehr stark eingeschränktes Angebot für Vegetarier, die Wahl viel auf den Vegi-Burger mit pappigen Pommes und Beilagen siehe oben.Ein Gespräch mit der Wirtin war ehr ernüchternd. Eine Wiedereinkehr nur bei frischen Gemüse und ... Aber wer weiß dies vorher.

Unfreundliches Personal, Schnitzel war trocken, hart und sehr dünn. Wir haben abgeholt und es befand sich noch nicht einmal etwas Salat oder Garnitur beim Essen. Sehr enttäuscht für das Geld

Drinking great, eating flop. We had a vegetarian burger and pike with fried potatoes. The only seasonal vegetables in both dishes were fresh rocket, you couldn't get more fresh than that in August! The burger came with potato wedges with a greasy cream and store-bought raw vegetable salad. The pike was served with frozen vegetables (including pods, carrots) and pickled vegetables. Both dishes were the worst we've ever eaten in terms of appearance and taste. We paid just under 46 EUR for this meal (including 2 small beers). The boss said that the calculation wouldn't work with fresh vegetables😭. Our advice: stay away if you're hungry. We won't stop here again.

Nicely located restaurant with friendly service and good food. We come often and have not regretted it to this day.

We were here in August 2024 - food and prices OK, but nothing special - bill only after repeated requests and extremely unfriendly - you can also say thank you for the tip (we never give little...)! Is Rerik worth a detour? We're not sure.

I can't understand the positive reviews. We ate there late in the afternoon and were totally disappointed. The food was served after what felt like 5 minutes after ordering. Certainly not freshly prepared. The potato wedges tasted like the day before, the schnitzel and steak ou four were a disappointment. We certainly won't be eating there again, but tastes are different and every visitor can form their own opinion.

During our meal today we were able to watch as the landlord brought all his purchases into the kitchen. I was there for dinner with my family on the weekend. We had reserved a table, the restaurant was busy but not full. Our 4.5-year-old daughter cannot chew due to a neurological disease, so when I ordered, I asked that her children's menu be briefly pureed with a hand blender. We ordered five more meals, some of which were higher priced. This didn't seem to be a problem at first. After about 5-10 minutes, the chef, who was noticeably upset but was ostensibly trying to be friendly, came with the pureed food and said that they "really enjoyed doing something like that" but that it would "mess up all the processes in the kitchen" and we'll do it next time should go out to eat at a different time of day. A short time later a waitress came and asked what the chef had said. When I then said that my daughter is really seriously ill and that I find it very unpleasant to have to justify wanting to go out to eat at a normal time, she said again that she really does that “often” and “totally "I'd love to do it", but it wasn't really about the time and we'd have to go out to eat at a different time and let us know when we reserved the table next time. The problem is that “people always want everything but won’t accommodate one bit”. We then waited about 45 minutes for the rest of the food, so my daughter had to eat alone. Prescribing certain time slots for dinner to our families and requiring some kind of advance warning is simply discriminatory. By the way, the elaborate meal, which “disrupted all the processes” and was served within 5 minutes, was mashed potatoes in a bag with pureed Königsberger meatballs. My matjes was ok, as were the frozen side dishes (kaiser vegetables and potato wedges). The “fresh chanterelles” were fresh mushrooms.

Wir hatten einen schönen Sitzplatz draussen im Freien. Das Personal war freundlich und zuvorkommend. Es gab einen Gruß aus der Küche. 4 Scheiben Baguette mit einem Dipp. Wir bestellen die Fischplatte für 2 Personen. Das Essen kam fast zu schnell. Wie hatten das Amüsgöl noch gar nicht probiert. Es gab 3 Sorten Fischfilet. Jeweils ein qualitativ gutes Filestück und ein End/Schwanzstück von jeder Sorte. Dazu Bratkartoffeln und Salzkartoffel. Bei der Gemüsemischung hatten wir den Eindruck, dass es sich um ein Fertigprodukt aus der Tiefkühltruhe handelt. Der Salat hatte kaum Dressing. Alles in allem war das Gericht sehr geschmacks- und gewürzarm. Wir waren enttäuscht.

A really great restaurant, even a fish sandwich (from €4) is not only sold here, but served at the table. Add a beer and all is right with the world in this place. Please keep it up and on the carpet.

The fried fish rolls were quick and freshly made. Unfortunately a bit very greasy. Otherwise very good and good value for money. The staff was a bit taciturn.

Update 2024: Unfortunately a bit disappointed today. Asparagus was pretty overcooked for me. Price/performance didn't fit.

The absolutely right decision to eat here today. The cod was just great. The potatoes and asparagus are very tasty. Found a new type of beer😉. Service staff very attentive and friendly. Patiently explaining the difference between the types of fish. The price is absolutely reasonable and you also get a voucher So all in all, highly recommended👍🏻😋

We were lured here by the good reviews but were extremely disappointed. There were 5 tables occupied and we had to wait 15 minutes for service... We both decided on the beef burger, unfortunately a big mistake. For an 18€ burger I don't expect a ready-made dry frozen pattie that is fried to death and coleslaw and ready-made BBQ sauce are not included either... The greeting from the kitchen was baguette with homemade dip that was old and sticky. Unfortunately I cannot recommend the restaurant and we will not come back.

We were very happy with the service and the food we ordered.

We ate very well on site several times but also took some really tasty fish sandwiches with us. The staff was always in a good mood, friendly and very attentive. Price performance is totally right. The fillet of pike with vegetables and potatoes as well as the cutter plaice with fried potatoes are highly recommended.

A nice restaurant with very nice staff, especially the boss. Children and dogs are welcome here. The food was always very good, no matter what you chose, always hot and we always got it all together. Extra requests were also fulfilled. The fish is particularly recommended, always very tasty. We will definitely eat here again on our next vacation.

Very child-unfriendly staff. We got a table right at the entrance with a toddler and infant. The door was constantly open and it was extremely drafty. We were not allowed to close the door because we had to be served outside. When we asked about a changing table, we were recommended the public toilets! We have never experienced anything like this before, nor in any other restaurant in town.

We were disappointed with the food. Fish and fried potatoes dripping with fat and almost tasteless, portion sizes (especially side dishes) very modest. Given the quality of the food, we think it's a miserable price-performance ratio. The only bright spot (for visitors with small children) is the playground on the restaurant premises.

If the fries with the schnitzel taste like fish because they were made in the same basket as the fish. Well, the Belgians also bake their potato sticks in beef fat, or so they say. I don't understand these good reviews, today I had the Baltic Sea cod (€24.00) with fried potatoes and vegetables. It didn't taste like fish and fell apart because it was probably heated in the microwave, the vegetables weren't fresh and just wobbly. The fried potatoes tasted like they had been fried in old oil and warmed up. My stomach felt accordingly. The staff was nice, the squeaking from the loudspeakers was unbearable as the musical accompaniment to the meal. Such shops only survive in tourist places; no one goes there a second time.

Visit on 3/18/24 Paid over €50 for 2 people with 2 drinks, 1 starter and 2 main courses... but there was Ragout Fin from a can, frozen schnitzel and cheap fried fish from the deep fryer (baked bone dry) and of course fatty, store-bought tartar sauce... Sad performance, the name of the restaurant is trampled on

We were the only guests at 6:30 p.m. (2 adults and 6 children with reservation) The food came promptly and the portion size was clear. If you are very hungry it will not be enough. The fried potatoes were tasty but cold - there was no service or willingness to help! In addition, in the dish “Hamburg-style schnitzel with fried potatoes” there was a fish bone in the fried potatoes... This was also not really taken seriously by the employees and was succinctly sold as a plastic part. As compensation there was an espresso and no apology! Overall a disappointing visit.. Also worth mentioning is a price increase of 30-50% compared to the existing images of the menu… A currywurst xl with fries now costs 14.30 euros and my 11 year old daughter couldn't get enough of it...

With 6 girls we decided that if we were in Rerik, then please have fish for dinner. This restaurant was definitely the right decision. Whether three types of herring, cod or hake... everything is top notch. An absolute highlight is the fish soup. And when everything is served by super-friendly staff, everything tastes twice as good. We wish the Sailor team only friendly guests!

The fish platter for two tasted very good. However, we had to reserve a place two days in advance. Nothing was spontaneous.

Were there with 10 people. Service was ok, but the food was sometimes subpar. The fish plates were good, the burgers were so-so, but unfortunately the currywurst didn't work at all. There was no curry sauce on the currywurst but curry ketchup from the bottle and curry powder was completely missing. Unfortunately, this is a criterion for us to avoid this restaurant on our next visit. Maybe you just had a bad day, but sometimes you still don't get a second chance.

Nice restaurant. Anyone who likes fish is in good hands here. Hamburg schnitzel quite dry. Fried potatoes could be fried a little more. Children's meals were great. Service as well. What wasn't so nice was that dogs were allowed in the guest room. Doesn't work for me at all.

Nettes kleines Local mit einer schönen Terrasse, haben gemütlich in einem Strandkorb gesessen. Hatten nur einen kleinen Imbiss aber der war perfekt.

Schnitzel war leider nicht ganz frisch, Bratkartoffeln mit Sicherheit schon länger in der Pfanne und wie das ganze auf dem Teller angerichtet war, naja, schön ist anders. Leider ist man auch unserer BITTE (bei Bestellungen ) das Spiegelei durchzubraten nicht nachgekommen. Haben die Bedienung darauf hingewiesen, wir haben zur Antwort bekommen: BEI UNS WIRD DAS IMMER SO GEMACHT. Fanden wir nicht ganz in Ordnung.

Ich hatte schon im Eingang ein ungutes Gefühl. Die Einrichtung sehr nüchtern und kalt. Meine Frau hatte keinen großen Hunger und bestellte von der Kinderkarte ein Schnitzel mit Pommes und zusätzlich einen Tomatensalat. Da kann man eigentlich nicht viel falsch machen, aber das Schnitzel war ein Fertigprodukt und der Salat lediglich in Wasser eingelegt. Mein Fischfilet hatte ein bißchen viel Gräten, also ein gebrauchter Abend.

Die Bedienung reagierte auf unsere Schilderung mit der Antwort: Die Küche verwendet kein Salz, weil viele Leute damit ein Problem haben. Nun ja für uns war das Highlight des Besuches die Bio-Johannisbeer-Schorle von Vio. Schade. Für 47 Euro eine herbe Enttäuschung.

Tolles Restaurang. Top Cafe und Super Kuchen und Eis. Wenige Parkplätze vor dem Haus. Ich komme wieder wenn ich in der Region bin

Das Personal ist super freundlich und zuvorkommend. Schöne Atmosphäre mit Strandkörben. Das Essen war super lecker und üppige Portionen.

Gut besucht, besser reservieren. Leckere Fischplatte. Vorher den Gutschein in der Touristen Info holen, dann gibt es 5% Rabatt.
