Restaurant Blüsefeuer in Rerik

No, we Thuringians, who can't exactly boast about our restaurant business these days, got a complete brush-off here. A sign asking them to be seated. Few seats were occupied in the restaurant and on the terrace. No reservation signs on the tables. A gentleman who was definitely part of the staff came in. No "good day" or any other greeting. Name: Sorry, we didn't order. Then, I'm sorry. "Try" again at 7:00 p.m. It was 6:00 p.m. And Rostock wasn't around the corner to hear that 7:00 p.m. answer again. It should also be mentioned here that this gentleman had no immigrant background. We then went to a restaurant in Rostock called "Fachwerk Nr.7" and had a fantastic meal there with polite staff and an immigrant background. Here, 6☆ is still too low, and for you, 1☆ is still too high.

We ate here this evening. We had read some reviews beforehand and were hoping for a good fish restaurant. Unfortunately, we were very disappointed. The service was friendly, the glass of Riesling and the beer were good. But the food, one wolffish fillet and one pike-perch fillet, were tastelessly fried. They came with very, very al dente vegetables in a mushy sauce. My companion also ordered chanterelle mushrooms on recommendation, €8.80. They tasted absolutely nothing; they were cooked with lots of large pieces of onion in a flour mixture. The cutlery was carelessly arranged in a basket; no fish cutlery in a fish restaurant. This was definitely our first and last time eating here. A real shame. Poor value for money.

We got a table quickly, drinks arrived within normal time, but we waited an hour for the food, and when we asked about it, we were told: "Since we didn't have a reservation, that's how it is... reservations come first, then the others, so they'll just have to wait in line..." Unfortunately, the food wasn't impressive either; the catfish tasted like Pengasius, and the liver was fried completely dry and could only be swallowed with a lot of water. It was supposed to be a nice birthday meal... well, it was a complete disaster.

We also ate here during our vacation. We had the recommendation of the day: Pike-perch with chanterelles and potatoes. Very tasty 😋 and plentiful. Then we had dessert, everything was great.

We've eaten at Blüsefeuer several times in the evenings over the last two holidays. From the very first visit, we felt completely at home. The warmth of the staff, the quality and quantity of the food, and the ambiance are simply fantastic. The staff is very interested in their guests and enjoys friendly and cordial conversations. Special requests are always fulfilled whenever possible. The Blüsefeuer and its staff are definitely a reason for us to keep coming back to Rerik. Thank you!

Don't be fooled by the menu. We simply wanted to try several types of fish at this restaurant, which looked good from the outside, and were deeply disappointed. What was advertised as a "Fish Fillet and Shrimp Dream Platter for 2 People" turned out to be a meager, tasteless, and bland plate. Six thin and skinny pieces of fish over semi-raw, unseasoned vegetables (including leftover cooking water), two shrimp skewers, and maybe 3-4 cooked shrimp simply "adorned" the dream platter. As a side dish, four well-cooked and halved potatoes with a dill sauce. For €61.61, you might expect a bit more refinement. Conclusion: we felt ripped off!

The food is freshly prepared and very tasty. We only had fish dishes, so I can't comment on the meat dishes. We ate there three times and always made reservations just in case.

Since we arrived late, we expected the kitchen to be closed, but the chef personally came and offered us some of the remaining food. The food arrived quickly, the portions were more than generous, and it was so delicious that you would have loved to eat the whole plate. The staff was very friendly, and the ambiance was very cozy and rustic. It is highly recommended, especially the amazing fish dishes!

I expected a bit more for the prices; the salad bar was also very modest, and that would have cost another €3.00. The fried potatoes with bacon were more burnt than crispy. We sat outside and I could see the lagoon. But the cobwebs on the windows could have been removed.

From the preliminary discussions to the menu composition, the organization, the decoration: everything worked out perfectly. The killer was the dinner. So much variety in the dishes, so much creativity in the service, and above all: so much enjoyment! Be careful, you have to get it right first. We came here spontaneously today and were warmly welcomed with open arms. The restaurant is very centrally located close to the beach and there is plenty of space outside when the weather is nice. Very nice atmosphere, interesting menu with unusual dishes. Our choice was of course fish and we were not disappointed. Everything tasted great and the portions were generous and the soup was also really tasty 😋 Service was very nice and explained everything to us well.. You can sit outside and inside. There is a comfortable couch in the interior where we were allowed to sit until our table was ready, very good 😊. Various fish dishes and meat dishes are offered. I decided on the recommendation, it was spot on.

Nice restaurant with a view of the lagoon. Menu ok. I had ordered the Viennese style schnitzel with fries and mushrooms. The schnitzel was a single lump of meat, streaked with fat and unseasoned. Warmed up in the microwave. So in short, just 🤮 Thank you never again!

We reserved a table at 6 p.m., reservation is recommended. The selection of starters was very limited, the "salad buffet" was dominated by convenience and little choice. The gratinated catfish fillet was ok, but with onions [which wasn't apparent from the menu] which made it taste like warm tomato salad and the cheese could have showcased the fish better. The potato wedges and everything else were convenience. The fish platter [1 person] was rustically prepared, often undercooked and with a slimy dill sauce [herb sauce is on the menu]. For non-fish lovers, the schnitzel also disappoints superbly with an incredible thickness of meat, excessive fat-soaked breading and solid outdoor fries. The best comes last and so does dessert. Deep-fried apple rings that were all the same perfect sizes, creamy ready-made ice cream and a diced apple as a garnish. The Swedish cup was just slapped onto a plate, just 2 scoops of ready-made ice cream and lots of cheap cream, bought applesauce topped with the hottest eggnog. Only the service was convincing, garlic bread was served upon special request, the dishes came almost all at the same time and everything was very friendly. The ambience is in a rustic maritime style without a lot of frills or lighting. In summary, the price-performance ratio is not justified and I would advise against a visit.

We were here for the third time and after two visits that would have deserved one more star, unfortunately we now have to stay at three stars. We had asparagus cream soup as a starter and pesto noodles and asparagus with a cod fillet and potatoes as our main courses. The asparagus cream soup was great! The pasta was solid, you make your own side salads at the salad bar. Unfortunately there were a few bones in the cod fillet and the boiled potatoes were very tasteless. The hollandaise sauce was also tasteless and very thick. The staff took note of our criticism benevolently. A little attention or at least an apology would definitely have lifted our spirits. Nevertheless, the previous visits were very nice and we would like to be proven wrong next time and improve the rating.

Nice location, interesting atmosphere, but unfortunately a poor price/performance ratio. Baked potato for €15.15 and a solyanka for €8.88 are very sporty considering the portions are not exactly large.

Wir haben einen Tisch reserviert und standen vor verschlossenen Türen sehr schlechter Eindruck das ist nicht zu empfehlen leider haben die Inhaber es nicht mehr nötig und dann wir geheult uns geht es so schlecht na ja was soll man dazu sagen. Ein Stern ist noch zuviel.

Wir sind immer im November für ein paar Tage in Rerik.Seit 3 Jahren essen wir dann täglich im Blüsefeuer. Es gibt für uns keinen Grund woanders hinzugehen, da im Blüsefeuer einfach alles stimmt.Allen voran die Chefin mit ihren Service-Mitarbeitern,die jedem(auch unserem Hund☝️)das Gefühl geben "herzlich willkommen" zu sein. Die Küche sticht heraus mit tollen immer frischen Gerichten,die für unseren Geschmack extrem gut abgeschmeckt sind.Da wir selbst aus der Gastronomie sind,wissen wir diese "gleichbleibende-top-Qualität" sehr zu schätzen.

Ein kleines schönes Restaurant, wir waren sehr zufrieden mit unserem Essen und den Getränken. Der Service war sehr nett. Man sollte auf jeden Fall Reservieren.

Bei den Gerichten gefielen uns besonders das Garnelen Arrangement, das Putenfilet Hawai, Steinbeisser- und Dorschfilet.Es waren zwei gelungene Abende!

Leider war das Essen sehr salzig. Sowohl das von meinem Partner und von mir. Personal zu wenig, daher sehr überfordert.

Wir hatten die Fischplatte für 2 Personen. Absolut lecker! Das Gemüse so wie es sein soll (nicht zerkocht), verschiedene Fischsorten, Garnelen und Überraschungspäckchen. Wir haben es nicht geschafft aufzuessen. Der Preis für diese Vielfalt ist wirklich gut. Danke für den super Service! Wir haben uns wohlgefühlt!

Wir haben vor wenigen Tagen unsere Hochzeitsfeier im Blüsefeuer verbracht. Organisation, Essen/Getränke und der Service waren perfekt. Wir heiraten hoffentlich nicht nochmal, aber allen die diesen Schritt planen, können wir das Blüsefeuer absolut empfehlen!

Volle Punktzahl, weil wirklich alles stimmte: Gemütliches Ambiente, guter Service, richtig gutes Essen (inkl. Salatbar) und normale Preise. (Man hört den Koch das Schnitzel.klopfen.) Wir durften unsere 2 Fellnasen mitbringen und sind gleich am nächsten Tag, wiedergekommen. Selbst die Toilette überzeugte. Weiter so. Richtig gut. Nach einem Jahr wieder da und alles noch genauso gut.

Wir hatten ein Schnitzel mit frischen Champignons und Pommes. Geschmacklich war es gut, aber das Schnitzel war ziemlich durchwachsen und dadurch war etwa ein Drittel nicht genießbar. Habe noch nie so ein qualitativ schlechtes Schnitzel gegessen und das für 23 Euro. Als Entschuldigung erhielten wir einen Absacker. Kann das Restaurant nicht empfehlen.

Das Essen war geschmacklich sehr gut, meine Frau und ich haben uns auf die Tagesempfehlung leiten lassen, einmal Heilbutt mit Gemüse, und einmal mit frischen Pfifferlingen die ein Traum waren. Die Bedienung war sehr Kinderfreundlich,da wir mit zwei Kindern im Alter von 3 und 7 Jahren da waren. Auch als unser großer nichts von der umfangreichen Kinderkarte gefunden hat wurde ihn ein Erwachsenengericht als Kindergericht angeboten. Das Restaurant können wir nur empfehlen.

Sehr netter familienfreundlicher Service, gute Essensqualität und essen mir Blick aufs Meer... was will man mehr. 🙂

Was there to enjoy my last-but-one evening of summer holidays. I was seated at a nice centre table and the staff reacted really fast to my plea for servi g a side dish in advance (reason is my diabetes II). Very cozy and stylish atmosphere- the staff is really attentive and has a calm soothing manner. Food was delicious - I ordered the fish soup. They prepare everything fresh, but they didn't make me wait too long. I tried a seabuck thorn "Geist" which was extremely nice. Highly recommended restaurant!

Noch nie so schlecht gegessen wie in diesem Restaurant. Ein Rumpsteak mit Spargel sollte es zum Essen sein. Serviert wurde dann ein in der Mikrowelle aufgetautes und gekochtes Stück zähes Etwas für teuer Geld. Spargel war geschmacklich gut. Hollandaise kam aus der Fertigpackung. Bedienung war nett und freundlich aber leicht überfordert.

Super Spargelgericht mit Fisch. Sehr freundliche und höfliche Bedienung. Gerne wieder.
