Saigon Social in München

A very good and affordable lunch option. I had the lunch menu with spring rolls and a large portion of chicken with vegetables and Thai basil for under 11 euros. The staff was very friendly, and the food arrived hot and fresh within 10 minutes. I'd be happy to go back!

Yesterday, I visited this small Vietnamese restaurant for the first time and was immediately pleasantly surprised. As soon as you enter, you sense the intimate atmosphere – everything here is done with great dedication. The owner greets guests warmly, provides attentive service, and immediately makes you feel at home. I would particularly like to highlight the Bun Bo: rice noodles with tender beef, fresh herbs, and a light, aromatic sauce. You immediately taste that the ingredients are fresh and carefully selected. The combination of crisp herbs, delicate seasoning, and the succulent meat was perfectly balanced – authentic, balanced, and pleasantly light. Overall, you almost feel like you're with friends here: a warm welcome, attentive care, and a meal that makes you want to return soon. An insider tip that I can highly recommend.

Sunday lunch, outdoor tables bathed in the sun, a warm welcome, and we were immediately seated. Service was quick; we had miso soup with white rice and edamame. The soup was flavorful and delicious; the rice could have been more fragrant, but it wasn't overcooked; the edamame were delicious and crunchy. My only complaint was when I went in to pay, the lingering cooking smell. Overall, I'd happily return; it was better than other lunches at other ethnic Bavarian restaurants. We drank excellent fruit-flavored soft drinks, but be careful with the use of ginger, which, for a ginger lover like me, was overwhelming.

Since the change of ownership in 2024/25, the service and staff have been super nice and friendly. We ate there and had one curry duck and one bun bo (rice noodles with beef). Even though we came in the evening and it was busy, the food came quite quickly. The vegetables were still firm to the bite and the ingredients were very fresh. The price is also really good for the quantity. We would definitely come back and highly recommend it, as it's also very easy to get to.

There were a lot of us, but we were served fairly quickly. Unfortunately, the waitress didn't speak English very well, but we managed to make ourselves understood. On the terrace, there was street noise, but conversation was still perfectly possible. The terrace faces the street, which is shaded, making the setting more than pleasant! We ate for €15 for a dish and a drink. The meal wasn't extensive, but it was very good. The interior setting seemed decent.

In SAH, it wasn't bad. BUT 1. The waitress didn't speak much English, 2. We ate outside, and there was a slight smell of garbage. To sum up, it's not bad and not too expensive! I'll come back if I have the chance.

The food is even better when eaten in than when ordered! The service is very friendly and welcoming. We will definitely be back!

The food was delicious and the prices were fair. The service was excellent; we were even able to accommodate special requests outside of the menu. Unfortunately, the allergen list was incomplete (at least for gluten-containing products).

We wanted to try the restaurant for the first time, but were unfortunately completely ignored. Although there were four waiters and the interior was uncluttered (only three other customers), we were ignored for 15 minutes – despite repeated attempts to make eye contact. A couple who arrived after us, however, was served immediately. We eventually left the restaurant disappointed without ever receiving a menu – this too went unnoticed. We have rarely experienced anything like this. We definitely won't be coming back.

The food was super delicious and everything tasted fresh! The Thai curry with crispy chicken was a particular highlight. The chicken was perfectly crispy and the curry had just the right amount of spice. Highly recommended.

Since we don’t eat meat, we ordered vegeterian rolls and they sent us ones with meat.

Food is great! But what's much better is the great, nice service :) They had delivered me the wrong thing. Regular chicken instead of crispy chicken. So it's actually a small thing that can happen to anyone. But they still delivered the right thing to me straight away :) just great!

A great little restaurant; when the weather's nice, you can even eat outside. The lunch menu changes every month, so you can really try everything. Everything is freshly prepared, whether it's rice dishes or sushi, they taste beyond delicious. Really excellent value for money. The service was extremely friendly and accommodating. This will now be my standard Vietnamese restaurant. Good location, great team, delicious food, and really great value for money! Whether you order it home, pick it up, or just eat it in, it's always nice and hot and of high quality. The rice dish with peanut sauce and the crunchy roll are the best I've had in Munich so far. Waiting 1.5 hours for delivery is too long. Especially if you just laugh when asked over the phone. No explanation, no apology, not even any information about how long it will take. Would like to rate the food... If it had already been delivered.

Food is very tasty! And quite large portions for a good price. We ordered once and ate once on site. It's better to order as it's more of a to-go restaurant. The employees are very nice and friendly. We'd love to come back. The ambience inside could be designed better.

Mega! Already ordered there twice with delivery and had no problems. All sushi (vegetarian) was incredibly tasty, spring/summer rolls were also great and the rice dishes (three different ones with meat, among others) were also very tasty! The price is also great - €11-14 for the large dishes is more than reasonable (especially in Munich) and the portions are really big enough!

Reaaaally good value for money. One of the few asian places left in Munich, which are not overpriced for simple and tasty food like noodles with vegetables. Keep it that way.

The vietnamese springrolls were hot from the deepfry and very delicious. So was the pad thai, authentically cooked with actual tamarind pieces in it. The prices are phenomenal and the staff very friendly. Only the atmosphere is lacking, only sitting outside is recommended.

Just had noodles with chicken and vegetables delivered. Worst chicken noodles I’ve ever had unfortunately. There is barely any vegetables with the chicken (only carrots and onions). And the chicken pieces are so huge you would need to put forth effort to cut them. And the meal itself is very dry and barely any sauces on it. ON TOP OF THAT! After cutting the chicken, I noticed it is still pink on the inside! It was poorly cooked and raw.

Forget the duck in one dish! Upon request, delivery should be made within 15 minutes. After 25 minutes there was still no delivery, I called again - it would take another 15 minutes. The man also became cheeky on the phone. Now waiting for a refund from Wolt - an absolute joke! To make matters worse, stomach cramps and diarrhea - thanks for nothing! We've always enjoyed ordering there - it'll be a thing of the past in the future!

We had two rice dishes that tasted delicious. The ginger tea had a green tea bag inside, which really confused me because I ordered ginger not green tea. There wasn't really any service. We were the only guests and no one came in between. If you just want to eat there without a cozy atmosphere, then definitely with a good price-performance ratio.

This was the third and definitely the last time that I ordered something from Saigon Social. The sushi was nothing, spicy tuna roll wasn't spicy at all. The crispy roll was so smeared with sauces that in the end nothing was crispy at all. Also, the tuna from the sushi had a strange color, I don't want to assume anything, but fresh tuna tastes different. The highlight, however, was the Pho soup with beef for just under €14. I would say below average, just boring broth with way too much noodles and no herbs at all, which is actually what makes this soup so special. So what exactly was they asking so much for here, for the four to five small pieces of meat...? Really a shame and disappointed, But then I can't help but say that by far the best pho soup in the area is right around the corner in Cobe! Anyway, I've tried it several times, but I'm just not impressed with the quality and certainly not with the taste! maybe I was unlucky three times 🤷🏽‍♂️

Habe hier mehrmals Essen bestellt und war immer absolut zufrieden. Essen ist top, Preise auch vollkommen in Ordnung und der Service auch immer sehr freundlich.

Ich bestelle hier wöchentlich Sushi, Pad Thai oder Curry. Es ist wirklich eine gute Qualität und das schmeckt man auch + die Lieferung erfolgt meistens schneller als angegeben. Großes Lob!

Tasty Munich delivery that you can order in Liefernando. Very fast delivery, around 30 minutes every time (more than 6 orders). A lot of Vietnamese, Japanische and Chinese dishes. Really like soups there. Friendly service and couriers.

Leckere asiatische Speisen zum günstigen Preis!

Grundsätzlich sehr leckeres Essen, aber unzureichende Zutaten-/Allergendeklaration - bitte unbedingt nacharbeiten. Hatte leider Erdnüsse im Essen, die nirgends aufgeführt waren, das kann für einen Allergiker übel ausgehen.

Heute mal in der Mittagspause getestet, da mir die Große und außergewöhnliche Auswahl an Sushi zugesagt hat. Endlich mal ein Laden, der nicht immer den gleichen langweiligen Einheitsbrei an Sushi auf der Karte stehen hat! Auswahl auf der Karte hat schon beim lesen begeistert. Neben Sushi wurde noch Dim Sum mit Hähnchen + Miso Suppe + Glasnudelsuppe bestellt. Essen war für 13:00 Uhr bestellt. 13:06 war es fertig - als "Entschuldigung" für die paar Minütchen Wartezeit gabs 2 Lycheesäfte gratis mit on top - sehr nett und aufmerksam! Beim betreten des Ladens war ich etwas skeptisch, denn das Lokal wirkt etwas dubios und zusammengeschustert. Gekocht wird jedoch frisch und der Wok wird geschwungen, als auch das Sushi frisch zubereitet. Geschmacklich war alles ein Gedicht! Suppe frisch, knackiges Gemüse, lecker würzig, mit Einlage wurde nicht gegeizt. Ob die Dim Sum nun selbstgemacht waren, wage ich zu bezweifeln, aber geschmeckt haben Sie dennoch. Besonders war aber das Sushi. Ich habe ausschließlich "Fancy Rolls" bestellt - und der Name ist Programm. Alle 4 Varianten waren großartig!!! Toll gewürzt/mariniert, schöne Füllung. Wirklich mal Kontrastprogramm zu den üblichen, langweiligen Lachs/Thunfisch/Surimi/Avocado/Frischkäse/Sesam - Kram, den es an jeder Ecke gibt. Das Saigon Social lohnt sich! Ich komme wieder! Preis-Leistung somit absolut in Ordnung.

Bereits mehrmals bestellt mit Abholung. Gerichte sind sehr schnell zubereitet und schmecken richtig gut. P/L passt hier für Münchner Verhältnisse definitiv.

Die Nachfolger des Hanoifusion, sind absolut zu empfehlen . Sushi ist zwar bisschen anderes als früher, aber nicht unbedingt schlechter. Die Knusprige Ente hat uns auch recht gut geschmeckt . Ich würde mir einen Selbstabholerrabatt bei telefonischer Bestellung wünschen, da ich mein Essen immer selbst hole.

Exzellentes Sushi und Speisen von frischer Qualität und großzügigen Portionen! Der Lieferservice ist schnell und klappt auch mit Vorbestellung Punkt genau! Saigon Social hat sich in kürzester Zeit zu meinem Lieblings-Asiaten in München entwickelt. Wirklich sehr zu empfehlen! Umbedingt probieren und begeistern lassen!
