Excellent food, including vegetarian options. Very large portions. The only downside is the sometimes very high noise level, which can be a bit much at times – but the quality of the food more than makes up for it (for me). Reservations are recommended, as the restaurant is very popular.

Unfortunately, only 2 stars. - We had reserved a table online for 5 people and indicated it was for a birthday. - This reservation was confirmed immediately via email on the same day. - Upon arrival, we were initially shown to the wrong table and then moved, but still not to a table for 5 people. - There was no birthday decoration. - To place our order, we had to make ourselves heard, even though 3 members of the staff were constantly serving other tables. The wait from arrival to order taking was 25 minutes. - We waited another 20 minutes for drinks, one of which was incorrect, and the replacement drink took another 5 minutes to arrive. - We waited a total of 35 minutes for one person's appetizer, and another 20 minutes for the rest of our order after the appetizer arrived. - In total, it took 1 hour from ordering to the first bite! On the positive side: We received a small dessert sampler for the birthday. The food looked good and tasted very good. Negative: No small plates were provided, or the food wasn't arranged in a way that allowed everyone to help themselves. Unacceptable!! When we paid, the server either couldn't or wouldn't read the bill correctly and asked if it was €122. Due to the poor service, the long wait, the wrong drink, and no apology, we didn't leave a tip. All the other tables received a free plum liqueur at the end, but we didn't!!! I could have written a more detailed review, but then it might have been overlooked, which I didn't want. We will not be eating there again!! P.S. Another table, probably regulars, received a warm and enthusiastic welcome and were served immediately. However, they also had to wait longer.

Incredibly generous portions for very little money, extremely pleasant service. Be careful with the chili oil, I haven't eaten anything that spicy in a long time.

Cozy, small restaurant. I came here spontaneously on a Sunday evening and found the place very busy. But I was lucky: after a five-minute wait, a table became available. I had the red curry with vegetables and tofu. It was not only delicious but also quite spicy. It was just about pleasant. The prices are a bit high, but I was happy to pay.

Curry with tofu for €18 with 7 pieces of tofu 😂 Truly outrageous. Definitely not worth the money. Pineapple doesn't belong in a curry. Way too expensive. I have no idea if the reviews are fake...

An excellent dinner in a place that uniquely and delicately blends Bavarian aesthetics with oriental touches. The dishes were exquisite, plentiful, with perfectly cooked vegetables and quality ingredients. We were here on a hot summer day, inside in a very pleasantly decorated, air-conditioned room. The location may not be the best with the construction site, but that's the only downside: The service was so friendly, polite, and patient with our children, and they gave us good advice. The drinks were delicious, and the food (we ate the menu from sushi to salad, soup, and curry) was, without exception, delicious, well-tempered, homemade, and fresh. We'd love to come back!

Very good food. Vietnamese cuisine and delicious sushi. The drink selection is also very good. The ambiance inside is very nice. Unfortunately, it can sometimes be quite loud in one corner when a larger table is seated there. We could hardly have a conversation just the two of us. Nevertheless, I would come back here anytime and highly recommend it.

A lovely restaurant, currently suffering from the subway construction work, like everything else in the area, so there's no garden or decent parking (and the lack of a tram makes getting there on the replacement bus a bit of a nuisance). But the interior is comfortably furnished, with air conditioning and music that thankfully isn't stereotypical Asian babble, but rather sophisticated smooth jazz and lounge. The staff are incredibly friendly and accommodating. I've been here several times, both with friends and alone. The food is first-class. I've had various sushi and dishes like Bo Nuong Tieu, Vit Sot Me, and Xao Thap Cam several times. The duck in particular is the best I've ever had; so tender and well-grilled. If I had to criticize something, it would be that the Asahi is only the Italian version and not a genuine Japanese import, but that would probably be even more expensive. Nevertheless: a full 5 stars for this restaurant, which we hope will remain here in Pasing for a long time to come.

Excellent Asian food, friendly, attentive service, the ambiance suffers a bit from the subway construction site right outside—which is why there's currently no outdoor seating. Nevertheless, this restaurant is highly recommended if you like Asian cuisine.

Exceptionally good food at unbeatable prices! Excellent quality and generous portions. However, the service was a bit problematic, as the young lady spoke very poor German. The wrong food was brought even though the number was given, and the billing was also problematic. Be sure to check your bill!

We ordered by phone, so I can't comment on the atmosphere much! The food was ready for pickup within 20 minutes and tasted super authentic, fresh, and pleasantly spicy. The price/performance ratio here is unbeatable, and above all, the preparation isn't quite as European as most ;)... Always happy to come back, whether it's the main course, appetizers, or even sushi, everything from the menu is delicious...

For starters, we had a fantastic papaya and mango salad. All main courses were perfectly prepared. The attentive service and the excellent wine list are particularly noteworthy. We had a very comfortable stay in the restaurant, although the exterior impression of the construction site is deceptive.

We've eaten here several times now, and it's always top-notch. The food is delicious, the portions are huge, and the prices are absolutely fair. The service is very attentive and always keeps an eye on you. Even our dog was immediately brought water. We'll be back soon.

All show, little quality Rice with curry took 40 minutes, while other guests who arrived after us or were there to pick up food were served much faster. Sushi: 6 mini pieces for €9 – overpriced and not filling. Drinks were warm, without ice cubes. Napkin dirty, Coke glass with sauce residue. For the price, I expect more. The many top reviews seem questionable – for me, a maximum of 3 out of 5 stars. Not recommended.

An excellent experience from start to finish Hoa Thao is definitely one of those places you want to return to again and again. The food is simply delicious: fresh, beautifully presented, and full of authentic flavors that surprise you with every bite. You can really tell the care that goes into each dish. I've ordered from B5 many times for pickup, and it was always delicious, but the last two times the avocado was completely brown and the chicken in the sushi was rock hard, which was a shame ☹️ I loved ordering there, but unfortunately, it was the last time.

I love the food at Hoa Thoa. It's just always fantastic. No matter whether it's a starter, sushi, main course or dessert, everything is sooooo delicious and is of top quality. The service is very good and all the staff are so nice. The furnishings are subtle and not too overwhelming. I think that's really good. It has become one of my favorite restaurants and I have yet to find better sushi in Munich. Really only recommended!!

I've never experienced hospitality at such a high level as I have in this tiny restaurant in Pasing. I went there to celebrate my birthday, booked a table a week in advance but when we turned up, there were no free tables. While we were waiting for our table, we got a drink on the house and later a starter too because we had to wait for about half an hour. Food is exquisite. Definitely one of my favourite places in Munich.

Exceptionally good Asian restaurant where we regularly pick up food. Ordering by phone always works perfectly. The price level is quite high, but so is the quality. I haven't eaten there yet, so I'm only judging the pickup. Despite careful transport, the sauce often leaks out of the take-away packaging. Maybe there are better solutions?

Not recommended! Extremely unreliable. We made reservation for a party of three weeks before our planned dine out, that was confirmed by restaurant via email. But to our disappointment, when we got there, no table for three people was available. There was no beforehand notification on the availability issue. So dinner out ruined!

Outstanding restaurant. Hospitality and service go above and beyond what you're used to nowadays, the food is absolutely delicious and the portions are so big that you struggle to finish them. I personally love the spicy food; my partner loves the deep-fried sushi. Recommend this place to anyone and I keep buying more vouchers for people to come and visit. I ordered fried chicken noodles from this restaurant over the phone to pick up. I was told on the phone that the order would be ready after 15 minutes. When I arrived at the restaurant after about 15 minutes and said I had called, I was asked for my order. I said I ordered chicken fried noodles but still had to wait. I was surprised at the price of €18 - I think it's hugely overpriced for a dish like this. Unfortunately, the disappointment was even greater when I got home: Instead of fried noodles with chicken, I received noodles with baked chicken. How anyone can misunderstand such a simple order is beyond my comprehension. The food was also cold and didn't taste good at all. Overall, it was an absolute disappointment - both the service, the quality and the value for money. Unfortunately I cannot recommend this restaurant. Addendum to the rating: Unfortunately, I wasn't informed on the phone that there were no fried noodles with chicken. Instead, a dish was simply prepared that I did not order. Unfortunately, this shows little customer orientation and leaves the impression that it's all about money. In addition, the food was cold and tasteless.

Nice little place. Unfortunately very small and winding, therefore very narrow and very warm. There is no ventilation system and no window can be opened directly on the main street. If I hadn't read any reviews I wouldn't have gone in there, the barber shop and its audience (in front of the shop) next door are still a challenge for my simple mind 😜 Seriously, making a reservation in the evening seems sensible and is easy to do via their homepage. The atmosphere inside reminds me of Schwabing pub times in the 80s, not negative but unusual. The service is fast and extremely friendly, as you would imagine with Asians. The food comes to the table quickly and is good in appearance and taste and is inexpensive. Me and my 3 other blackheads liked it, we'd love to come back.

Absolutly fantastic food. Large meals and friendly staff.

There was a feast of delicious food, and I can't stop thinking about the starters. The prawn tempura was absolutely divine-so crispy and flavorful! The chicken skewers were perfectly grilled, and I loved the crunchy and Nilgiri sushi rolls. It was the main course where things went south. I did not really like the main course and did not find much different in flavors compared to a simple Vietnamese Imbiss where similar food can be available for half the price. However, they made it up a bit when the desserts came. Loved the Mochi, and the Crème Brûlée has a very different and fresh flavor of lemongrass.

I discovered this restaurant by chance and have been an enthusiastic regular ever since! The service is incredibly warm and attentive, the hosts are simply great. The Asian food is extremely tasty and the sushi is of very good quality.

Ambos platos principales eran muy sabrosos y frescos, con un excelente equilibrio agridulce que se espera de la comida vietnamita. The food tasted very good and in this restaurant you can also eat with your eyes because everything was beautifully presented.
