Great concept & successful reopening! Mivu impresses with a modern, harmonious concept and cozy ambiance. The reopening was a complete success – you immediately feel welcome. The appetizers are particularly recommended: The Vietnamese spring rolls and the crispy fried gyoza were delicious. The rice and noodle dishes are also superb, with fresh ingredients and beautiful presentation. The wide selection offers something for everyone. The drinks menu is equally strong: Whether it's a fruity lychee spritz, a refreshing yuzu spritz, or simply a cold beer – everything is served with love and pairs perfectly with the meal. In conclusion: Mivu is a real highlight for fans of Vietnamese cuisine. Delicious food, great drinks, and a well-thought-out concept – absolutely recommended!

Absolutely recommended in every respect. We were very satisfied. We particularly recommend the mixed appetizer, and the homemade lemonade was excellent. The quality leaves nothing to be desired. Everything is fresh and high-quality, and the price-performance ratio is reasonable. The service was also extremely friendly and attentive, which is unusual and worth mentioning in Munich. We had dinner at MIUV and were delighted with the food, the menu, the preparation, and the quality of the ingredients. All courses were perfectly flavorful. The cocktails and aperitifs are also highly recommended. The ambiance is very nice, both outside and inside. Excellent service and extremely friendly staff. All in all, a successful evening and a new discovery for us; we will definitely be back very soon.

A first "test meal" with the offered lunch menu. The crowd was manageable, and the reserved to shy service wasn't overwhelmed or overtaxed. We ordered coconut soup, spring rolls with chicken, duck, and monkfish, each with market vegetables. The food was consistently enjoyable and not overly seasoned. The monkfish could have been a bit more generous. The portion sizes and value for money must be reassessed based on the regular menu. To finish, a signature espresso was served. The music could have been played a bit quieter. We'd be happy to have an extended test meal in the evening.

Mi Vu offers a cozy, classically decorated atmosphere with warm lighting and soft background music – ideal for relaxing and chatting. The service is friendly, professional, and always helpful. The food is fresh, varied, and served quickly (approximately 10–15 minutes after ordering). An all-around pleasant experience – highly recommended!

Very friendly service; we were often asked if we could have more rice. After the renovation, the interior is very modern, chic, and elegant. The beef in oyster sauce was very tender and flavorful, and the monkfish was also excellent.

What a surprise. Having enjoyed enough typical German fare, I discovered Peony Lounge. While Peony has many traditional Vietnamese foods, they have integrated their menu with a blend of north and south Vietnamese, a heavy dose of Thai with even a sprinkle of Lao. I enjoyed an excellent larb like salad and an Asian spiced soup with vermicelli and duck. Peony is spotless clean, service is attentive, and the food absolutely delicious. Very close to the quality I’ve enjoyed on many trips to Vietnam.

Highly recommend this place. The service is excellent, the food is delicious, chicken strips are juice, grill salmon is juice too, only the beef in the curry is a bit dry but acceptable. The salad is fresh, and dessert is delicious.

The food was good, ordered the glass noodle salad, nice aroma with lots of vegetables and glass noodles! The mixed starter plate was a little too greasy for me personally, as it was mostly fried food (wantons, spring rolls, etc.), but the sauces on the side were really great! I also really liked the mango-passionfruit sorbet, nice fruity and intense taste! The price is a bit more expensive, especially the starter plate, but now normal for Munich. The service was very friendly and attentive, that's plus points!

The atmosphere was very pleasant. The approach of the staff was very friendly. However, the flavors were not to our taste. Some sauces were a bit heavy for me. But the portions were quite large. That's why the main course after the soup seems too much. Overall a nice place. The prices seem normal to me for a place like this.

Due to several visits to Asians, there was no corresponding result for delicious food here in the restaurant. Duck on lots of salad and few vegetables mixed with soft noodles! Maybe try something different!

Went there for dinner for the first time today. At first glance it seemed rather inconspicuous, but at the end of the evening we left the restaurant with the intention of coming back every time we visit Munich! It was sooooooo incredibly delicious!!! For starters we had the Vietnamese rolls and wontons, for the main course we had the massamam curry and chicken with vegetables. All the sauces were extremely tasty, and the chicken was actually cooked just right. Everything tasted absolutely balanced and made with love and honest craftsmanship. The unobtrusive service and the pride with which Mr. Vu spoke about his restaurant and food gave us a wonderful end to an unpleasant day. I enjoy cooking myself and with passion, this restaurant is one of the best we have visited in a long time

I was very late on my first visit (20 minutes before the end) but was still looked after perfectly. Since then I have been here again and again and can only give the best rating and the absolute recommendation to indulge in culinary delights in this beautiful restaurant.

The papaya salad is a bad joke. It is served on a leaf lettuce bouquet to make the portion, which is too small, appear larger. It's not spicy at all and is served with two large cherry tomatoes. This has nothing to do with a papaya salad! Then I can order an Insalata Mista from the nearest Italian restaurant for half the price. The main course of grilled salmon on curry tasted good, but for the price (€21) it was also significantly too expensive in relation to the portion size. At least everything was beautifully prepared (that's why the third star) The ambience is average at best. Only the very nice and good service will be remembered positively. Otherwise I unfortunately cannot recommend the restaurant, as there is more authentic Asian cuisine in Munich at a better price in a better atmosphere.

Delicious, down-to-earth Asian food, fresh ingredients and a good, authentic selection of dishes. Pho Bo and Pat Thai were very good (although the latter was a bit salty). The service was friendly and attentive, the atmosphere was ok, pleasantly quiet.

Strongly recommend to eat somewhere else than here,because this place is way too overrated,because that food what you will get isn't that quality equal to the very high price... Actually, you would get much better Vietnamese food on the street than here...😉 Unfortunally, person pays his money for just for interior of that place,because food is just salty without any real flavor and taste of Vietnamese cuisine,which is missing plenty herbs and many different kind of vegetables...😔 Of course we finished our meals(with a lot of problems to go over it) because we had to pay that overpriced food anyway...💸💸💸 On the end you will get "Chupa Chups" lollipop (btw... that's actually most tasty one from all of that) if owner see that something isn't right for make you feel better during your struggle with this food...😅
