It's very tasty, you get decent portions for a small price and the service is very friendly. You don't have that everywhere. Simply great and highly recommended, this inexpensive snack bar.

An insider tip for good service and super delicious food! You won't even notice you're in the middle of the city. The idyllic terrace overlooking the green Pushkin Park is wonderful. In the colder months, the rustic cellar is perfect for lingering and pampering your palate. The food is always fresh and beautifully prepared. And our drink requests were practically read from our eyes. This is what hospitality should be like! The lovely owners, who run the restaurant with heart and passion. We always enjoy coming back to the Klosterkeller.

We always feel very comfortable in this restaurant. The kitchen does a fantastic job – praise! And the service is simply top-notch, too. From ice cream with eggnog to a good vodka, all our wishes are fulfilled. We will be back soon.

Absolutely not. They told me where to sit on the terrace. The table for 6 was supposedly reserved, but there wasn't even a sign saying "RESERVED." The air in the dining room was practically stale, as all the kitchen fumes drifted into it. Unbearable. Furthermore, the male waitress used the informal "du" form of address with me. For the life of me, I can't remember ever herding pigs with this male waitress. Last summer (on June 23, 2024), instead of the veal liver I ordered, I was given the liver of what was presumably an old ox. I call that a fraud. At least my female companion was able to use the restroom for free.

I was a customer of this restaurant for a long time, but unfortunately after the change of ownership it went very bad. The food has clearly lost quality, especially the meat, which is often undercooked and therefore inedible. It is also overpriced - the price-performance ratio is no longer right at all. Another very unpleasant experience was that I saw an employee urinating on the advertising column next to the restaurant. Something like that is not possible and shows a lack of hygiene and disrespect for the guests. This was a new employee. I will definitely not eat here again and unfortunately I can no longer recommend the restaurant.
