Restaurant Friedrich's in Cottbus

We bought a kebab and a kebab plate there yesterday. First, the two men were unfriendly and moody, and then there's something wrong with the hygiene and the food. The whole family has diarrhea and is vomiting. It looks like something's wrong with the red cabbage. And it was only eaten yesterday, and now everyone's running after the other. You've lost us as customers.

Today I drank the best iced coffee. With lots and lots of ice. Even the glasses came out of the refrigerator. Keep it up.

After a friendly welcome and service, our first disappointment was to find ourselves with only three hot dishes to choose from at 4:40 p.m. The pancakes were too thick, very dry, and tasted of nothing. After we informed the staff, they literally told us, "The pancakes must have been in the microwave too long." For a restaurant of this caliber, I really expect something different. Guys, this is unacceptable!

The baked potato with quark and linseed oil is very good.

Unfortunately, this time we weren't impressed. Several times, waiters simply walked past us without asking. Finally, I asked the owner behind the bar if the free table was still available. His reply: "The tables are occupied." – without any offer of an indoor alternative or any other solution. On the positive side, the prices have been adjusted and are no longer as high as they were two years ago. That's progress. However, I recently read the current reviews and unfortunately have to confirm them: the service is still lacking. It's a shame that neither the previous nor the current management is able to ensure a functioning and hospitable service.
