REDO XXL Cottbus in Cottbus

The XXL restaurant is modernly furnished and you feel comfortable in it. There was a lot of food and it tasted really delicious. The staff was friendly and accommodating and tried hard to take care of every guest. Can only be recommended.

What can I write, it was our first time there and we probably won't go there again. But it's not the service. He was great, friendly, accommodating, funny. It's just a shame to spend so much money on it. Of course you can take the rest with you, but who will warm up the fries again? What was annoying for me was that I didn't want any fries and had to pay extra for the fried potatoes even though the fries were included. Everyone has to decide for themselves whether they want to go there.

Very nice service, food was very tasty and very sufficient :D gladly again! 3l drinks column was also great, very well mixed and not adulterated than elsewhere. Price performance is definitely appropriate.

Typical REDO XXL restaurant. The food got four out of five stars, it's just more bulk than class. Schnitzel too oily and the ratio of fries to schnitzel is not right, there are too many. The pepper sauce could use a little more oomph. Still 5 stars ⭐️, the waiter made it clear again with a friendly and direct manner. The leftovers were taken with me in a stylish loop bag. Redo XXL is quite well known in Cottbus and for good reason. The food has always been great and comes in a variety of sizes. Location is well maintained and clean. The service was also always friendly and accommodating, at this point I would like to highlight the big one that makes for great service. The only minus is the parking space, which is missing or not really available ;( the prices are very fair for everything. Thanks to the Redo team

A knuckle of pork is always something like that. A cooked knuckle like this takes some time to prepare deliciously. In most restaurants that still offer classic home cooking today, the pork knuckle is often only available by advance order. Since I'm a marauder on the road, I often don't know in the morning where I'm going to eat in the evening. So there's nothing to do with pre-ordering. So I'm all the more surprised when a meal like this can be ordered à la carte. Skeptical, I ordered the pork knuckle. The appetite for such a tasty treat was too great. The result was excellent. The look was perfect, freshly marbled: rind, fat, meat just as I had hoped in my dreams. All components can be distinguished in terms of taste. Rind and fat in a delicious, semi-solid consistency and the meat was tasty and fresh, fell apart easily, was tender as butter and had a very tasty taste of fresh meat. From my side, I give this dish a full, absolute recommendation. Anyone who wants to enjoy this ancient home cooking in honor of the slaughtered animal will not be disappointed here. Special mention also and especially because it can be ordered as a standard dish from the menu in this excellent quality. Come again!

Very nice staff, we were greeted very friendly despite the lack of staff and were told that it would take a little longer for staff reasons. Personally, I didn't think the waiting time was too long. The waiters also constantly asked if everything was ok or if we had any further requests So all in all it's a great shop, keep it up and we'll be back

The food was great, we were there with 6 people and had 2 kg of schnitzel, hunter's schnitzel with noodles and chicken breast fillet XXL and everything was very tasty.

Very bad service! When you asked for takeaway food and cash payment, it was NOT possible. Even if you came to the restaurant, you were told that you couldn't order! It is possible if you pay online with a credit card or PayPal. It's funny.

As a new customer you are quite overwhelmed and the prices are quite hidden and cleverly printed

Very tasty, great ambience and the service people are super friendly and personable. We always like to come back when we have the opportunity.

We wanted to eat something with our colleagues during the lunch break, but after waiting half an hour we weren't even greeted by the waiter and with only two tables occupied, we left the restaurant!

The food wasn't just delicious, it was outstanding. Quality, taste and, last but not least, service at its best. More than recommended.

Right on page 2 in the menu, every day is a special day. Just like today is family day and children get their food and drink for free when they eat the adults' main course. Unfortunately, that's not the case in the end. You order the smallest drink for the children, on the menu this is 0.3 liters and the waiter pointed out that this would be 0.3 liters and food from the children's menu. In the end, however, you suddenly pay full price for the children because you don't have 0 Ordered .2 liters of drink. This is only possible with regard to 0.2 liters of drink, according to the waiter. For me this is pure rip off. We've eaten there so many times so far or picked up food there on Sunday. If you go there once, you might be able to enjoy saving something and then something like that. Oh and the waiter doesn't want it to reflect negatively on him and the store, then just let people know that it's 0.2 liters and not several more times. 0.3 liters is the smallest. And then when you list the bill, don't mention the children and don't give them a bill either. Funny, many people might not notice it. So definitely a pure rip-off and scam. Either wanted by the store or nicely pocketed as a tip.

It tasted better in Berlin at the Uber Arena but I may have made a mistake with the dish, the waitress was great

Everything to the best of your satisfaction, if you want to eat delicious food and also portions that fill you up, this is the right place for you. There are also delicious dishes for children. The pepper sauce is my favorite, very tasty and freshly made, at least it looked different in the Redo in Wildau, but tasted the same. So it seems to be freshly prepared and a little different everywhere, despite being a chain. But that doesn't detract from anything. We'd love to come back

The service in the restaurant was extremely friendly and the schnitzel really tasted excellent. The atmosphere was cozy and the portions were generous. Overall I was very satisfied.

Unfortunately the quality was a disaster. This has nothing to do with beef ribs. It was a chunk of meat that was tough and covered in tendons. The schnitzel was anything but thin. Unfortunately only 1 star.

It's really not easy for me to evaluate this. Chain concept. Service impeccable. This is more about quantity of food than quality of food. This specifically attracts guests with a healthy appetite. This was clearly visible on site. The greed for excess is explicitly desired. Mountains of meat, unfortunately I can't say anything about the quality, whether Metro or Demeter quality, I have no idea. We chose the smallest possible portion, which was also commercially available. Pork schnitzel with fries and a sauce for €21, no salad. That's quite proud. But basically this is all about Tired of heading home. Not mine, but whoever likes it.

We have really enjoyed ourselves here several times. The food is first class, the service is quick and courteous and the atmosphere is pleasant. The prices are great (especially since the size of the dishes means you can easily divide them between 3 or 4) - we'll be back! ;)

We were in Ketzin a few years ago and got to know Hellmann's restaurant. Excited back then and now in Cottbus. Service top and very friendly. Food was very tasty and well prepared.

We liked it very much. Our selected dishes were delicious, the service was really friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was welcoming and cozy. We can only warmly recommend the Redo XXL and would be happy to come back!

THE place in Cottbus if you want to devour gigantic portions. The quality has always been great for years, the taste is a dream, simply unrivaled all around. The larger portions are also very reasonably priced. The ambience is also very nice and pleasant. In addition, all the waitresses are motivated, friendly, competent and always up for a joke. You simply feel welcome here. The picture shows the 1.3kg pork schnitzel with pepper cream sauce.

The service was very friendly and helpful. The menu is quite confusing. Food is average and relatively expensive. Personally, I find this XXL stuff superfluous because it is of no benefit to anyone other than the operator. General luxury problem!!!

You simply have to give 5 stars here. Super nice staff. Great meat quality. The giant schnitzel, for example, was well done and still very juicy. The burger patty from the giant burger is on point and with very good giant buns. Not dry at all or anything like that. Some restaurants can't do that well, even on a small scale. The order came very quickly. We were served personally because there wasn't much going on yet. Restaurants like Redo Cottbus are becoming increasingly rare. It's actually unbelievable what's on offer here considering that it's actually a small "system catering establishment". Redo has optimized the processes well and has them very well under control. We haven't eaten so well in a long time. And that doesn't even include the fun factor with the huge portions.

Ich boykottiere den Laden. weil ca. 20 Leute wollten dort essen. Aber nur 10 Leute waren erwünscht. Trotz versuchter Reservierung. Aber man man auf Antwort. Nie wieder dieser Laden.

Food in XXL version. Food mega big. That's why it's called that.🤭 The service wasn't enriched with friendliness😄and there were only two of us. Otherwise the food is really great👌 You can also get the Schnorr plate there for several people😁 and share a dish.

It was our first time eating there and unfortunately we were very disappointed. The table was sticky right from the start and the service was also very unfriendly. The egg had the taste of charcoal and the schnitzel wasn't really cooked through. Some of the spring onions still had the peel on them and the lettuce was stale. That was also the first time that I experienced having to pack up your leftovers yourself (paper plates and a roll of aluminum foil came). Overall, this was our first and last visit there.

According to Google, the last time I was there was in August 2014, now again after almost 10 years. The food tastes good, as does the beer, the Mai Thai and the small 2 liter Cuba Libre column. You get a big belly for free. That's exactly how I remembered it. Gladly again.

The food was very good, unfortunately my espresso had been poured into a cold cup so that it was only lukewarm at the table. But I can highly recommend it, there are also delicious wines.

A great restaurant in the heart of the city of Cottbus, a simply feel-good atmosphere. A little tip to the kitchen: fried potatoes should really be fried potatoes if that's what it says on the menu. But that's complaining at a high level. My food was very tasty. (but please with fried potatoes next time 😉) keep it up 🫶

Der Service war unterirdisch. Es gibt zum Hefeweizen keine passenden Gläser, der Wein war warm und im Ramazzotti fehlte trotz mehrfacher Nachfrage das Eis. Der Kellner war unhöflich und nahm uns sogar den Serviceruf vom Tisch, mit der Begründung, er käme nicht wegen jedem Getränk zum Tisch.

Service, operation and ambience very good. Unfortunately, rump steak was disappointing. Tough with tendons, very poor quality, the chef can't do anything about it. Not recommended for the price.

Schönes Ambiente aber sehr "Preisintensiv".

Heute das erste mal im Redo... Das positive zuerst: Service und Schnelligkeit des Personals war super. Die Kellner hatten immer einen lustigen Spruch auf den Lippen und waren sehr zuvorkommend. Das Ambiente und das Angebot des Essens und der Getränke waren auch super. Leider haben wir scheinbar das falsche Gericht erwischt. Unsere Short Loin Ribs waren leider kalt, zäh und trocken... Schade! Es sah wirklich lecker aus, auf der Speisekarte und auf dem Teller auch. Die Angestellten reagierten auf die Kritik sehr freundlich und professionell, bedankten sich für das Feedback. Dafür echt einen Daumen hoch. Wir hatten trotz des leider misslungenen Essens einen schönen Abend und fühlten uns verstanden.

Wir waren mit einer größeren Gruppe hier. Service 0 Sterne. Ich denke, 1 Kellnerin ist nicht genug für große Veranstaltungen. Unsere Gläser waren immer leer und niemand hat nach Bier gefragt. Das Essen kam auch nicht zusammen und es dauerte ewig, bis alle ihr Essen bekamen. Als wir das Bier bestellt haben, hat das Personal die Bestellung nicht aufgenommen, weil sie es nicht durften und die Hauptkellnerin war schwer zu finden.

WOW! Wir waren das erste Mal im RedoXXL und sind begeistert. Wir haben vorab einen Tisch Reserviert + Essen/Getränke. Auf unsere Sonderwünsche (Hochstuhl für die Jüngste und einen 'Randplatz' zwecks Kinderwagen) wurden ohne Probleme berücksichtigt. Das Essen war bombastisch und wir fühlten uns willkommen. XXL Kompliment an unseren Kellner, vielen dank für die Oranisation! Fazit: WIR KOMMEN WIEDER! ♡

Essen war gut...Portionen sehr üppig -auch die "kleinen". Das Personal ist sehr nett und aufmerksam.

Das Essen ist immer sehr gut genau so wie die Bedienung. Es gibt keine langen Wartezeiten.

Essen ist sehr lecker, Redo halt, mehr muss man dazu nicht sagen. Ein Stern Abzug weil kein Lieferservice. ;)

Super Essen, freundliche Bedienung. Kleiner Kritikpunkt wenn man was bestellt hat (zu Trinken) und die Dame es per Handy an die Bar weitergeleitet hat kann man es nicht mehr ändern. Trotzdem jederzeit einen Besuch wert.
