Sahin’s Döner & Pizzahaus in Kaiserslautern

If it were possible to give -5, I would. Yesterday, my husband and I decided not to cook, but to have a Döner for dinner, since we are new to Siegelbach, we decided to try to give this place a chance. It was +35 outside and probably +40 inside the place, it is simply unbearable to be there. The first thing that confused us was that usually the meat is cut on a spit in front of you, and here it was already cut in some kind of pan. When we got home, when we started eating, we realized that the vegetables (cucumber and tomato) were sour. Having removed the vegetables, we decided to eat only the meat and the bun, since they seemed to taste normal. But after 3 hours, we both felt wild pain in the stomach. My husband and I got food poisoning after eating the food. It's already the second day, and I still don't feel better. I want to clarify, and I am a nursing mother, I breastfeed my child. We immediately called the establishment yesterday and said that the vegetables were spoiled, the staff or Lina expected to hear this and as a compliment offered to take two doners for free. Even if they pay me to take it, never in my life. Such a "compliment" next time can lead to the hospital. "Thank you very much, we are full!"

The food itself is very good and the service is also good, only the young salesman is very unpleasant and the environment is very old but overall I would recommend it

I have to honestly say, we had the worst doner and lahmacun we've ever had. Plus, the prices were completely exorbitant at €8 per doner and €9 per lahmacun, when they weren't even close to being filled with any toppings. Plus, the atmosphere was very gloomy and unfriendly.

Best Döner in the area! Sahin and his wife are super nice and the food is always fresh. I especially love the falafel sandwiches, the pizza mozzarella, and always the fries. Definitely the best fries in Kaiserslautern ☺️

A wonderful, neighbourhood dining establishment! Sahin’s serves exactly what you are craving! I’m a big fan of the pizza made fresh before your eyes. Great prices, easy parking, and rapid service! Probably one of the least expensive and biggest Döner despite inflation in metro Kaiserslautern!

This place is great and the price can’t be beat. Pizza tastes good. The toppings can be a little funky if you’re American but you manage. All the Döner selections taste great. It isn’t super quick but they’re making everything fresh so it makes up for it. Pizza dough and the yuffka wraps are made fresh. I think living in Siegelbach, this is a huge plus to have right down the street. Edit: Well, I wrote a good review for this place but unfortunately the younger guy who works here offered to have sex with my wife while she was ordering with my 5 year old son. She even said excuse me and asked what he was talking about. He then reassured her that he was offering to have sex with her. Ridiculous. A customer shouldn’t have to worry about sexual advances while ordering food. We won’t be going back.

Not enough food at all for the price. I felt like I eat burritos or taco. Doner size was very small.

The food is fresh and well priced. We speak little German but they were very patient and helpful. Doner pida and box were amazing!

I think the food here is very good, I often get something here when I'm in a hurry. Unfortunately the shop is very small so it's not really inviting to sit here.

I just was moved to a house down the street. I asked for a chicken doner wrap and the owner proceeded to roll out thin fresh dough for the wrap and threw it in the pizza oven for 30 seconds on each side.. fresh veggies, excellent tzakiki sauce and perfectly seasoned chicken for only 7 euros... best deal in Kaiserslautern!

Ausstattung sehr alt und ungepflegt. Toiletten ohne Tür und die vorhandene Zwischentür ohne Schlüssel. Pizza frisch gemacht! Schlecht belegt, Käse nicht ausgebacken bzw. zerlaufen. Stühle musste man selber com Tisch nehmen weil Chef wichtige Handygespräche außerhalb erledigen musste. Nicht empfehlenswert!!!

Wir waren das erste Mal hier. Das Essen zum Mitnehmen war lecker und reichlich. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Sahins Döner lecker, frische Zutaten. Auch die Pizza Spezial ist der Favorit von meinem Papa. Freundlich und immer für einen kurzen Plausch zu haben. Danke für den Service.

Die Pide ist so lecker! Auch die Döner! Mein Sohn liebt deren Pizza. Wir gehen seit Jahren zu diesem familienbetriebenen Döner-/Pizzahaus. Sehr zu empfehlen.

The best Döner in the KMC. Fresh made bread for the döners and the flavors are always fresh. This is the only place we go for Döner.

Die Gerichte sind lecker, das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmt. Döner-Teller sowie Döner oder Döner-Box sind besonders empfehlenswert und gehören geschmacklich zu den besten erhältlichen Produkten im Raum Kaiserslautern. Einen Stern Abzug gibt es nur dafür, dass bei telefonisch aufgegebenen Bestellungen nicht immer alles stimmt (z.B. sind Pommes in der Döner-Box- obwohl ohne bestellt wurde). Aber das sind Kleinigkeiten. Sahin's Döner ist definitiv einen Besuch wert.

Schnitzel-sandwich und Lahmacun bestellt. Habe einen Döner mit einem Schnitzel innen bekommen, was kein Stück zusammen gepasst hat... Nie wieder. Lahmacun war auch ohne Käse trotz bestellung. Schärfe war gut ansonsten sollte man bei einem Schnitzelsandwich nicht das Plakat faken. Ranzig sowas abzuziehen. Never again.

I live in the village and eat here often. I think it's delicious and love to grab an Ayran with it.

Ich verstehe bis heute nicht, wieso das Döner Fleisch vor dir abgeschnitten wird, aber erst in diesen Kessel mit dem älteren warmgehaltenen Fleisch vermischt wird und dann erst ins Fladenbrot gepackt wird, anstatt direkt und frisch vom Spieß wie überall sonst auch . Positiv sind die frisch gebackenen Yufka und Pizza.
