Sägewerk in Bernburg (Saale)

When you read it like that, the question arises: are they just ignorant about cooking or do they like the stuff because they cook even worse themselves? These are prepared meals from a frozen food company. Where can this taste good? The reason it takes so long is because you first put it in an oven and then take it out of the foil. You don't need a chef and that's where the long waiting times come from. Put an egg in the pan with toast, it definitely tastes better.

5 stars for the very friendly service..unfortunately you don't experience that often anymore.. We were there for lunch with 15 people and we were looked after, which was very nice.. The food is really amazing.. Lots of it, tasted really good and... Inexpensive.. You definitely have to try it.. We were very satisfied.. Thank you Patricia was the name of the young lovely lady.. If you'd like to enjoy a traditional German dish, this is definitely the place to eat! One word, delicious!

I relied on a good review and was seriously disappointed. First I had to wait 1 hour for a simple meal, then my chicken steaks with green beans and fried potatoes came. The result was simply poorly prepared, potatoes oily and charred, probably the leftovers from the pan, the green beans, totally overcooked and overloaded with herbs, a single mush that only tasted of herbs, and the two chicken breast fillets were of a very poor quality Quality, meat fibers were not visible, only tasted watery... My point about the poor quality was then ignored.

Unfortunately, the staff wasn't very accommodating to us. We ordered a large Coke and got two that we couldn't give back. Long wait for food 1 1/2 hours. Unfortunately, the farmer's breakfast was also not recommended. Unfortunately there were other things we didn't like. What was positive, however, was that the staff remained friendly despite complaints.

An interesting restaurant, the food served was moderately priced. Unfortunately 2 stars deducted for the service. The reason was the waiting time. After ordering, it took an hour for the food to be on the table. There were three tables occupied on the terrace, and there was a birthday party in the restaurant itself, but it was already over. So incomprehensible for the long wait. Nevertheless, we will visit the restaurant again when the opportunity arises, because the food was really tasty and also rich. Maybe the star deduction is an incentive for service.

Absolute recommendation! Incredibly friendly and quick staff, the food tastes great and looks really good too. We were here again this evening and always enjoy coming back. Kind regards to the entire staff and thank you!

Currywurst looking for an opponent! We wanted to have something to eat in Bernburg. That's when we discovered the "sawmill". Currywurst with homemade sauce on the menu. Ok, let's try here. I'll keep it short. That was an absolute blast. Very easy on the eye, the sauce was different but really tasty. The side dish of fries was very crispy and the small cucumber salad was a dream. I would like to expressly point out here that everything is a matter of taste!!!! For us, that was proof that currywurst can be really good. If we were to eat again at Bernburg, then we found “sawmill” service OK. Otherwise a nice atmosphere inside. However, the “Pipihaus” is calling for improvement.

Very nice, rustic restaurant, definitely worth a visit

Stopped here by chance. We received a super friendly welcome and our dog was also immediately welcome. We can't say anything about the food, but it looked very tasty. Great atmosphere and Dortmund also won.

Unfortunately I can't recommend the roulades, the schnitzel was supposed to be good. Hopefully the other food was better too. Not a second time for me. I found the room too dark, which was a shame. 😢

Ein tolles Restaurant....und ein mega super essen

Ich war nach langem mal wieder zum Abend dort. Getränke lecker und preislich gut. Speisen sind sehr schön serviert, für mich war die Portion ausreichend, preislich ebenfalls gut. Minuspunkt für knapp 45 Minuten Wartezeit. Ansonsten ist die Atmosphäre trotz der Fußgängerzone angenehm.

Sind auf der Durchreise dort eingekehrt. Das Essen war gut. Preis-Leistung auch. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich. Ein gemütliches rustikales Lokal.

Wir haben nichts gegessen, daher kann ich nichts dazu sagen. Wir haben aber die polnische Rakete bestellt und die war super! ZÜNDUNG!

Unfassbar nettes Servicepersonal, wir haben uns sehr gut aufgehoben gefühlt und fühlten uns sehr wohl. Das Essen hat hervorragend geschmeckt und alle Teller waren komplett leer. Außerdem sehr familienfreundlich (auch das Personal), unseren kleinen Begleiter waren auch begeistert. Alles in allem nur zu empfehlen. Wir hatten eine wunderbare Zeit! Vielen Dank!

Wir sind zur Mittagszeit dort gewesen. Freundliches Personal nett ,höflich. Saubere Tische kein Dreck unter den Tische. Die Toiletten sind sehr sauber. Das ist viel auf der Schaufel zum essen. Gute Idee das man das essen auf schaufeln serviert. Gute Portion und Qualität, Preis / Leistung passt Service ist Ordnung. Wenn man in bernburg ist sollte man dort esse gehen. Tipp: Bestellt die Leber mit Kartoffelbrei und Zwiebeln das ist der Burner. Die beste Leber die ich je gegessen habe. Für die Leber gebe ich 3 extra Sterne

Vollends zufrieden. Nach einem anstrengenden Tag auf dem Fahrrad im Sägewerk gelandet und sehr gut gegessen und getrunken sowie auch ein paar nette und lustige Worte mit der Chefin in 4. Generation gewechselt. Wir können das Sägewerk nur empfehlen.

Das Restaurant "Sägewerk" ist ein uriges Restaurant mitten in Bernburg. Das Ambiente ist urig und gemütlich, was perfekt zu der traditionellen deutschen Küche passt, die serviert wird. Ich hatte Königsberger Klopse mit Kapernsauce und Kartoffeln. Es war unglaublich lecker. Der Service war freundlich und zuvorkommend. Ich kann dieses Restaurant jedem empfehlen, der auf der Suche nach einer traditionellen deutschen Erfahrung ist.
