Sägewerk in Bernburg (Saale)

Immer wieder gerne im Sägewerk! 🙌 Ich habe ein paar Unverträglichkeiten, aber das Team geht jedes Mal super darauf ein und findet immer eine gute Lösung. Das Essen ist richtig lecker, die Atmosphäre entspannt und die Bedienung immer freundlich, zuverlässig und aufmerksam. Einfach ein rundum gutes Gesamtpaket – hier gibt’s echt nichts zu meckern. Ich komme definitiv immer wieder! 😊

Sehr nettes Personal! Aber mit dem Essen waren wir alle nicht zufrieden. Schnitzel trocken, Speckbohnen ohne Speck und teilweise verbrannt und total matschig. Currywurst und Pommes aus der Fritteuse total trocken. Coleslaw Salat ungewürzt und nicht kalt. Hausgemachte Limonade war so süß das man sie nicht austrinken konnte.. Ciabatta Baguette gab es zu den Vorspeisen auch nicht mehr sondern ein halbes aufgeschnittenes Brötchen.. Preis-Leistung ist nicht gerechtfertigt!! Ich bin es eigentlich besser gewohnt vom Sägewerk. Sehr Schade .. aber unseren Stammtisch werden wir hier nicht nochmal machen. WM wird hier ausgetragen und man kann dort sehr entspannt sitzen.

Sehr unfreundliche Bedienung, wollte das Tagesangebot Schnitzel mit Beilage,wurde angefahren wegen den Beilagen,das ich mir die Beilagen in der Karte aussuchen kann wusste ich nicht,ich dachte das es das Angebot ist wo es nur eine Beilage gibt,so kann man nicht mit einem Gast sprechen,hatte hunger aber das Essen ist mir vergangen,ich werde dieses Restaurant nicht wieder betreten,kann leider nur einen Stern geben das Essen konnte ich ja nicht bewerten weil ich nichts bestellt habe

Das "Sägewerk" ist ein Restaurant mit guter deutscher Küche. Uriges Ambiente mit vielen Familienfotos an der Wand. Wir waren hier mit einer 45- köpfigen Reisegruppe und trotz der hohen Personenanzahl war die Bedienung/ das Personal sehr schnell, freundlich, hilfsbereit und zuvorkommend. Das Essen war geschmacklich sehr gut und hat allen!!! Personen gemundet. Die Portionen waren ausreichend und sehr gut angerichtet (Biergulasch, Hähnchenschnitzel, Königsberger Klopse), denn das Auge isst bekanntlich mit. Wir waren jedenfalls von der Atmosphäre und den sympathischen Inhabern begeistert und es wird sicherlich nicht unser letzter Besuch im "Sägewerk" gewesen sein.

Stilvolle Einrichtung, aufmerksames und freundliches Personal. Aber das Beste ...die servierten Speisen!!! Hatte als Vorspeise die Soljanka... einfach Spitze!!! 10/10 Punkten Als Hauptgang das Holzfällersteak mit Bratkartoffeln und Zwiebeln. Der Knochen vom Steak war ausgelöst, die Bratkartoffeln auf den Punkt gebraten und die Zwiebeln noch schlonzig und mild im Geschmack. 10/10 Punkten Alles in Allem ein gelungener Abend mit perfekten Speisen Uneingeschränkte Weiterempfehlung 👍

Nettes deutsches Restaurant. Wir waren zum Wichteln mit 6 Erwachsenen und 3 Kindern dort. Service war nett, schnell und ist auch auf Späße eingegangen. Da das Reataurant wie es üblich zur wheinachtszeit sehr voll war hat das Essen ein wenig gedauert was aber definitiv kein Minuspunkt ist. Essen an sich war solide 4 Sterne. Mein essen (schnitzel au four)war perfekt. Leider waren die beiden Rumpsteaks nicht wie gewünscht wodurch es einen Stern Abzug gibt. Dennoch werde ich definitiv öfters dort hingehen.

Das Essen war hervorragend und hat unsere Erwartungen übertroffen. Das Personal, war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Auch das schöne Ambiente sorgte für eine wunderbare Stimmung. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

The food was really good, fresh, well-prepared, and tasted solid. The ambiance was also appealing, rustic, and cozy. Unfortunately, the staff seriously spoiled the overall impression; they were very unfriendly, listless, and showed no discernible interest in the guests. One felt more like a nuisance than a welcome. It's a shame, because the restaurant itself actually has a lot of potential; with a little more friendliness and attentiveness, it would be a truly lovely place to eat and linger.

Today was our first visit to the sawmill, and it certainly won't be the last. Great service and the quality of the food was simply outstanding. Thank you for allowing us to eat such a delicious meal.

Unfortunately, I can't share a positive experience. We were treated very rudely, almost cheekily. The restaurant was very disorganized; after waiting for almost two hours, we ended up leaving hungry. I can't recommend it to anyone.

Hello community The food is great. Nothing to complain about. The boss's brother is top-notch at service. The other employee came across as a bit snotty. That was the second time. The boss is also great and always friendly, with a nice saying. Parking is just difficult. Highly recommended. Especially when the boss's brother is there. She's a really cool lady. We were passing through and stumbled upon the restaurant by chance. From the very first moment, we were impressed by the friendly and attentive service. Choosing a meal was difficult because they offered several dishes that were just as delicious. I opted for the Schnitzel Au Four, and my husband opted for the dark beer goulash. It was truly delicious and plentiful. The value for money is definitely reasonable. We can definitely recommend the Sägewerk and would gladly return!

We were strolling through the shopping district during the Rose Festival and then discovered the sawmill. The atmosphere outside on the terrace is very cozy. The menu is very original and made of wood. I ordered the currywurst with fries. The food was also beautifully served on a shovel, with fries in a frying basket (I would have preferred a few more), and it came with a glass of coleslaw with a light dressing. I really enjoyed it and the price was reasonable. My wife treated herself to the lumberjack steak with fried potatoes. This also came on a shovel with the same coleslaw. It was also very tasty. Our conclusion: we would gladly come back. We can only recommend it!

We would like to thank Ms. John and her team once again. Our club outing with 46 people was rounded off with a visit to the sawmill. We received a "small" menu in advance. When we arrived at the sawmill, everything went like clockwork. The food was excellent, the service very friendly. Since we come from a former coal-mining town, we immediately felt very comfortable. The ambiance and decor strongly reminded us of our hometown. We found the idea of ​​serving the food on a shovel very original. We had a tight schedule. Today I ate a delicious schnitzel at the Sägewerk again. As always, it was delicious. The schnitzel was still juicy and not overcooked. The coleslaw was awesome! We were there at 7 p.m., there were 5 people, the restaurant was almost full, but unfortunately we had to wait over 1.5 hours for our food, which was similar for the other guests. The food was great and the portions were good, but at 9 p.m. (when the food came) it wasn't even possible for me to finish half of it. I'll test it again at another time and then I'm curious to see whether it's always like that!? But if from experience it is not possible when the restaurant is almost full (around 80% full) and that everything is definitely reserved (since there are always at least 5 people), then you don't accept that many reservations...at least that would be an idea to continue to attract guests to the restaurant. Unfortunately only 3 stars and that's the only positive thing because the food and the portions were very good...

I like to go here to eat schnitzel. The atmosphere is very inviting and you feel at home. In summer you can sit on the terrace right on the boulevard. You can also tell that it is a family business. The prices are reasonable and so far I have never been disappointed.

When you read it like that, the question arises: are they just ignorant about cooking or do they like the stuff because they cook even worse themselves? These are prepared meals from a frozen food company. Where can this taste good? The reason it takes so long is because you first put it in an oven and then take it out of the foil. You don't need a chef and that's where the long waiting times come from. Put an egg in the pan with toast, it definitely tastes better.

If you'd like to enjoy a traditional German dish, this is definitely the place to eat! One word, delicious!

I relied on a good review and was seriously disappointed. First I had to wait 1 hour for a simple meal, then my chicken steaks with green beans and fried potatoes came. The result was simply poorly prepared, potatoes oily and charred, probably the leftovers from the pan, the green beans, totally overcooked and overloaded with herbs, a single mush that only tasted of herbs, and the two chicken breast fillets were of a very poor quality Quality, meat fibers were not visible, only tasted watery... My point about the poor quality was then ignored.

Unfortunately, the staff wasn't very accommodating to us. We ordered a large Coke and got two that we couldn't give back. Long wait for food 1 1/2 hours. Unfortunately, the farmer's breakfast was also not recommended. Unfortunately there were other things we didn't like. What was positive, however, was that the staff remained friendly despite complaints.

An interesting restaurant, the food served was moderately priced. Unfortunately 2 stars deducted for the service. The reason was the waiting time. After ordering, it took an hour for the food to be on the table. There were three tables occupied on the terrace, and there was a birthday party in the restaurant itself, but it was already over. So incomprehensible for the long wait. Nevertheless, we will visit the restaurant again when the opportunity arises, because the food was really tasty and also rich. Maybe the star deduction is an incentive for service.

Currywurst looking for an opponent! We wanted to have something to eat in Bernburg. That's when we discovered the "sawmill". Currywurst with homemade sauce on the menu. Ok, let's try here. I'll keep it short. That was an absolute blast. Very easy on the eye, the sauce was different but really tasty. The side dish of fries was very crispy and the small cucumber salad was a dream. I would like to expressly point out here that everything is a matter of taste!!!! For us, that was proof that currywurst can be really good. If we were to eat again at Bernburg, then we found “sawmill” service OK. Otherwise a nice atmosphere inside. However, the “Pipihaus” is calling for improvement.
