Food was good but charged more than what was stated on the menu.

We had planned to go out for Pakistani food with our colleagues after work. No one had heard of the restaurant before, but everyone was pleasantly surprised. There was a good atmosphere, very friendly staff, and incredibly delicious food. The chicken jalfrezi was perfectly seasoned, and the basmati rice was very fluffy. I've rarely eaten such soft chicken. Complimentary salads, rice, and various dips and sauces were served on the house. Highly recommended and definitely not our last visit.

I love Indian food and definitely this is one of my favourite places in town. Good dishes, reasonable price, good amount of food and also nan selection. Mango lasi very tasty, although I would appreciate it a bit colder. Over all, a good option to try if you are in the hood.

Delicious. Main course comes with salad, papadums. Free chai on the house.

The food is absolutely fantastic! Was recommended by my Taiwanese friend and found the best Indian food in Berlin! As an Indian, I struggled to find good Indian food here, but thank God I managed! You no longer have to cook at home to enjoy good food! The Punjabi thali is my absolute favorite! And the naan is good too! I would recommend trying the lentil soup too! The serving staff here is also very nice.

I was here on Saturday evening and surprisingly got a seat without any problems. The restaurant looks beautiful, the plants including decorations on the table sound real. The food was really good, the naan bread was fresh and really tasty. The service was really attentive, really pleasant. No long waiting times, everything came super quickly, the toilets looked good and were clean and you could pay by card, which is not a given in Berlin. I'm thrilled. I had a starter, a main course, naan and two drinks and got a bill of €25, which in my opinion was absolutely justified.

The food is absolutely amazing! Was recommended by my taiwanese friend and found the best indian food in berlin! Coming from an indian, I struggled to find good indian food here but thank god I did! Won’t have to always cook at home now in order to eat good food! The Punjabi thali is my absolute favourite! And the naan is also good! Would recommend to try the lentil soup as well! Also the wait staff is so nice here. Simmy(I guess her name) is so welcoming and an amazing person! Such a wholesome experience.

I went to this restaurant with my friends, including a friend from India, and we all agreed: the food was delicious and authentic. The service was very friendly, often asked if everything was OK and looked after our well-being. The prices were also very fair, and the portions were really generous - so big that we even had to take away the rest that we couldn't finish. It was my first time in this restaurant, but I will definitely go there more often. Absolutely recommended!

I was here about a year ago. It was super delicious and I still think about the chana masala today! Next time I'll come back! The chai was also authentically delicious. I really liked the Pakistani food (samosas wow, chana masala also wow, chutney wowowowo)

Lunch menu is amazing value! I went in very hungry and came out very full. The only thing I didn't love was the salad dressing. The best chai I've had outside of India. Staff are very courteous and professional.

Nice experience at this Sadhu. The Dal tadka was nicely prepared. The bhindi Sabzi was nicely done too but a bit too oily. The roti here is really amazing. The panner Tikka was a nice try. The samosa overall is pretty good. Friendly and welcoming staff

Friday evening after work, hungry and not in the mood to cook, child hungry too so on the way home we decided to come here. Called quickly to ask for a table and a very nice lady told us that we were allowed. We arrive in 20 minutes and we find a nice relaxed atmosphere. After ordering, beautiful, delicious starters come that were eaten in 5 minutes. Then another dream: we generally like this cuisine, which is why we have often been to restaurants like this, but we were really amazed here. The consistency, the colors and the taste were great here. I was once again somewhat shocked at the price: for what we ate and the quality, I would have expected a higher price, so it was another nice surprise. We've been somewhere else and had worse eaters for even higher prices. Here I felt like we were on a beautiful, happy island. We didn't take any pictures because we were very hungry and the food was just too tasty. Please stay like this because you are excellent. Greetings from three new customers :)

Maybe the best indian food in Berlin, we asked them to make it spicy and it was very delicious. They also serve you very late which is a huge plus, we ordered food at around 10:45pm (on a Thursday) and it was no problem, thanks again for that, if you want to dine late this is the place for you. Highly recommended, will go back for sure.

Endlich mal wieder ein Restaurant mit fairen Preisen (auch beim Wein, wo überall sonst in der Gastro in Berlin sonst aktuell so unverhältnismässig zugelangt wird). Wir hatten einen wirklich feinen Rosé für 13 EUR pro halbem Liter - erstklassig! Auch mein Thali war spitze - Riesenportion für 19,90 EUR. Der Service ebenfalls top - sehr freundlich und nah am Gast, obwohl der Laden (verständlicherweise) brummt. Das Ambiente gemütlich. Von solchen Restaurants kann Berlin nicht genug haben - bitte mehr davon!

Bad experience with this restaurant

They offer very nice food. The chicken in my stew was super tender. The meal came with a starter and an espresso afterwards free of charge. Great service, great location, reasonable prices! I would go there again.

You only deserve 5 stars. The service, the prices (especially the lunch menu) and then a great location in the sun. The entire menu is REALLY DELICIOUS, a top selection for vegans and here you will be really full and not get mini-saving portions. I've found everything I've eaten here so far to be delicious and I've probably brought 10 friends with me for lunch and shared my insider tip with them. If you like it spicy, then they make it really spicy, which I really appreciate, because unfortunately you often don't get really spicy food in Germany. Stay the same <3

For me this is not a restaurant but a Food Therapy or I would say a Stress Buster 😅🫶🏻! 10/10 on every single dish I have ordered so far!! Staff hospitality is excellent , I feel like home everyday time I come here.. All the staff members are really well behaved and serve with smiling face! Special mention for Rohit who always takes care of the needs! Coming to the food, Best in Berlin so far. I mostly have ordered Non veg or Veg Thali:- Lamm curry, Butter chicken, Daal Makhni all are super delicious. Authentic curries and every single Dish is well prepared!! Price performance ratio is excellent! I would highly recommend this restaurant for Pakistani/Indian Food!!

Clear recommendation! Unfortunately, aluminum packaging is no longer appropriate when ordering at home. Packaging made of waterproof cardboard would be better here. Other restaurants can now do better.

Always an excellent experience topped with quality food! Everything is fresh and so tasteful - feels like you are back in the sub-continent. Dont forget to try their special biryani. ;)

I recently ordered Chicken Zalfrezi, Sabzi Korma, and Laccha Paratha, expecting authentic Indian flavors. Unfortunately, the dishes were a big letdown. Instead of the spice and bold flavors that these dishes are known for, the food tasted sweet, as if sugar was added, which is not what we expected. The lack of spice made the meal very disappointing, especially considering this is a restaurant known for Indian cuisine. I would not recommend this to anyone looking for a real Indian food experience.

Very tasty food at a really good price. Most dishes are still available for under €10. Sadhu is definitely the highest quality Indian restaurant I know. The toilets are very clean and we were often asked if we liked everything, if everything was OK... So you can tell that it is very important to the people who work in the restaurant that the visitors enjoy their stay. After we paid the bill, we got a coffee on the house, very nice👍 I can also highly recommend the cocktails. It's worth coming there from 6 p.m. because it's happy hour from then until midnight. In my opinion, this restaurant more than deserves 5 stars in all categories.

This was sublime! Maybe I’m just deprived from good south Asian cuisine, but coming back to Berlin after years of mediocre food in basically the rest of Germany, feels like coming home. Maybe, Sadhu had it even harder, because expectations and anticipation was high, but they did not disappoint at all. What can I say? This was more than I expect from a restaurant in this category, very attentive service, reasonable prices, exceptional food. Thanks for having us!

Had fish masala curry with chapati (roti). The taste and flavour were good. Papad and salad were complimentary, i liked the mint chutney especially that they have for papad. Would be great if the amount of oil can be reduced in the curry. Apart from that, I would like to visit again.
