The service was extremely poor. The waiter gave us two menu cards while we were sitting and didn’t come to the table for taking order. He asked what we wanted to order standing from the counter. We ordered the food from the Mittagskarte but we were charged the whole amount for the food. Upon asking, they told us we were supposed to mention that we ordered from mittagsmenu considering that portion size and prices of mittagsmenu was less. We agree that prices of mittagsmenu were slightly less than the original, but how can we know that the we have to mention that we are ordering from mittagsmenu before our order?? We were not informed about this earlier before our order!! Thats just lack of communication from their end.. Well, the food was good but such behaviour from restaurant’s staff made our experience extremely disappointing. I hope owner reads this review and work on their staff’s communication skills.

Amazing food and great service. Honestly, I was missing Karachi’s food and all that craving were satisfied after eating here. We had a couple of dishes but Haleem, Chicken Karahi, Biryani, and Nihari stood out. Chai was okayish but overall, I was an amazing experience. Highly recommended!

One of the best place for Desi food, specially breakfast. Halwa Puri was best, not too much oily. Nihari, omelette is also good. Last but not least, dodh Patti (tea) is a must try thing here.

Hello We came from Pakistan here in Deutschland. And Visit Berlin with friends. We were 11 people. The taste is so good and delicious. Highly recommended for Desi Pakistani food.

Four of us visited together. The food was so tasty that we went again for the breakfast and had one of best paya and nehari in europe. If you want to taste delicious food from sub-continent, you must try this.

I visited Germany on a trip, and my cousin took me to this place for food. The experience was fantastic, especially the *siri paye*, which were absolutely delicious. I currently live in Stockholm, but unfortunately, I haven’t been able to find anything similar here. I even suggested to the owner that they should consider opening a branch in Stockholm. The only downside was the music,it was a bit outdated. However, they were kind enough to change it upon our request, which was greatly appreciated.

The chicken tikka had some sort of a black/gray masala that I've never seen on a chicken tikka before. The taste was also completely alien and not in a good way at all. The gulab jamuns had been fried in stale/burnt oil and were inedible. Very likely a health hazard tbh. The dal was ok. The roti and naan were more like sheermal. They weren't bad but it's not what you would expect when ordering roti and naan. Very disappointed.

Tried Rogani Naan, Mutton karahi and Nihari. They were really tasty and in good serving quantity. Malai Kofta is not there strength I would say. Staff was friendly and service was good 👍

We tried the nihari and chicken karahi, and both dishes were absolutely delicious and authentic. The flavors were rich, perfectly balanced, and reminded us of traditional recipes. The portion sizes were generous, and the presentation was appealing as well. In addition to the great food, the staff was incredibly friendly and attentive. They made sure we were comfortable throughout our meal and were happy to answer any questions about the menu. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and we’d definitely return!

It was simply amazingly delicious! This was my first time trying Pakistani cuisine and I was very pleased. The lamb kebab and lentil soup were the best! I highly recommend it if you want to try the cuisine of this country.

Today, I ordered Chicken Karahi, Korma, and Kabab, and the food was amazing! The Chicken Karahi was flavorful with tender chicken in a thick spicy gravy perfect with naan. The Korma was rich and creamy, with a deep traditional taste that made it feel comforting. The Kabab were juicy, smoky, and well-seasoned adding a nice variety to the meal. Simple delicious and truly satisfying Perfect Pakistani comfort food.

Food was bland, Butter Chicken felt like flour with vinegar, dry chicken, didn’t like it. Chicken Jalfrezi was better, but sauce was a bit unusual, too sweet, similar to Asian sweet-sour. Mango lassi was okay.

Great nashta (Puri/Cholay) 10/10 would recommend. Great chai too. However, their Biryani could definitely use some more flavor and same thoughts about malai kofta. Other thins like chai, palak paneer were good. Very cute and Pakistani interior. Love that they play desi songs😅

Very rude owner,he was eager to get us out bcuz of other people waiting as soon as we finished our food. He came to our table and didn’t wait for us to leave rather order to leave the table in a very impolite manner. We were having breakfast on Eid and in front of the whole restaurant saying this was really insulting and surprisingly that was not a one time thing but happened multiple times

I was at Ashiyana again. Normally everything has always been ok so far, but this time I felt more than ripped off. It wasn't just about the taste, which wasn't good either. The siekh kebabs were in some kind of sauce and covered in ketchup and mayo. siekh kebabs are a dry dish. And ketchup and mayo, even if you want it, are certainly not part of it. but it was already garnished by then. Then the naans that Bosher were always fresh were, this time more convenience packaged naans that were briefly fried in oil. I had brought two guests with me and they ordered the lunch menu. they came with a side salad. Either without would be ok but if with then why were the salads covered in ketchup and mayo. well I have to say. I'm half Pakistani and have lived in Pakistan for 13 years, I cook myself and have eaten at Ashiyana 4 or 5 times so far because it was delicious and quite authentic. But this time, apart from the taste, which was somehow different, it was also really, really bad. I came with guests and we were all more than disappointed. When I asked if I could speak to the chef, I was told he couldn't at the moment. I spent 76 euros on all of this. never again. They screwed us over and have now lost regular customers. I'll never go again. cheekiness

This restaurant is not family-friendly, as children and babies are not welcome. The staff asks you to keep the noise down, which can ruin your experience. Additionally, the food is pretty basic and not worth the price. You'll also feel like you're being watched throughout your entire meal.The food is below average.

I & my husband went to Berlin, we were searching for pure pakistani nashta in pakistani restaurant. Luckily the google advisor mentioned Ashiyana restaurant we went and tried the breakfast it was too yummy. I never had such type of delicious pakistani breakfast in Germany. Highly recommended.
