Best Pakistani food I've ever eaten in Germany. The songs, food, sweets, everything was absolutely perfect. They have everything on the menu you'd like to eat. I'd definitely recommend it to everyone. It also reminds me of my Mother's cooking. It's perfect.

I visited Aashiyana restaurant today. Tried their weekend platter which included matar qeema, chanay, yoghurt, achaar, alo ki bhaji and omellete with parathas. The taste was delicious, especially the matar qeema was on point and the simple yoghurt in combination reminded me of ramadan sehri in a good way. Also ordered a samosa which was warm and the chatnis were delicious and fresh. The food was prepared authentically for desi taste buds and quality of the food was great. Kudos to the chef. The mint lemonade though was not to my liking however chai was good. Service can be bit faster perhaps it was saturday afternoon and many people with one waiting staff so it was slow. The location of the restaurant is very central just next to the Wedding subway station next to SPD headquarters. Ambience was lovely, the soft music complimented the decor. Personally i dont like menu cards in black color with plastic, although they were properly and tastefully bound in book form. The painting of badshahi mosque and the color scheme of decor was nice.

We ordered two dishes: butter chicken and a lamb dish with rice. The chicken smelled awful, had a strange texture, and tasted truly terrible. We couldn't eat it. The lamb dish was also only a half portion—an outrage for the price. Overall, a very disappointing experience. The food quality was abysmal, and I absolutely cannot recommend this restaurant.

We were craving authentic Pakistani food and stumbled upon this place. It was a great decision! The food and service were both 10/10! We'll definitely be back :)

For two years, I always ordered Daal Makhni, and every time it arrived different. It wasn't the original recipe, but it was still good. The last time, it was so different from the original that the lentils weren't even cooked. The food can be good if the cook is in a good mood or if it's something they've already cooked for other customers. If it's something made from scratch, they might just use any old curry and end up with something that isn't the original dish. Even so, the ingredients are fresh, and if they cook it well, it can be tasty.

Extremely rude behaviour from the owner. We came with children, and instead of being accommodating, he acted in a completely unprofessional and disrespectful way. He even asked us to leave while we were still eating, which is outrageous for any restaurant that claims to offer hospitality. No sense of manners, no courtesy, and definitely no respect for families. Absolutely unacceptable; never coming back.

I went there with my friends for halwa puri, but the man at the counter was quite rude and showed unpleasant expressions when we asked him a few questions. He seemed visibly frustrated, which is not the right way to treat guests. My friend reviewed also but apparently her review was deleted. It would be nice ,if you could acknowledge the mistakes and improve in that area rather than deleting people’s review.

I got recommended by a Pakistani friend about this restaurant that the taste feels similar to what we eat back in India/Pakistan, the real taste of masala and everything. And happy to say that I wasn't disappointed at all. I tried the chicken biryani with mango lassi. You can say how much spice level you would like and they make it accordingly. I went with mild as per my level and it was right there on the border, giving you the hint of spices but bearable as per my preference. Can only recommend further to everyone. Also, enough quantity to have a full stomach. P.S.- No photo of the Lassi. I finished before the biryani even arrived😅

Absolutely disappointing experience. The seekh kebabs they served were clearly frozen from the inside while only the outside was cooked; a sign of poor kitchen standards and carelessness. It’s unacceptable for any restaurant to serve half-frozen food to paying customers. If this is how they treat their dishes, I can’t imagine what goes on behind the scenes. Definitely not recommending this place to anyone looking for real Pakistani taste or basic food hygiene.

“OLD FOOD BEING SERVED IN THE NAME OF FRESH” I’ve eaten Nihari at several places in Berlin — Taftan and Punjab Zaiqa, for example, usually serve fresh, well-balanced Nihari only on weekends, and the difference shows. At Ashiyana, however, my experience was completely the opposite. The meat in my Nihari had a faint ammonia-like smell, looked dark and rubbery, and had a metallic aftertaste. To me, those are classic signs of meat that has been stored too long or reheated multiple times. The owner repeatedly assured me that the dish was “fresh,” and I chose to trust him — but unfortunately, the food itself said otherwise. Another odd detail: when ordering, I was told that naan was included, yet I was later charged for it in a rather demanding manner. It left a poor impression overall. I’m sharing this as my personal experience and opinion so that others know what to expect. I sincerely hope the restaurant improves its food freshness and customer service.

Great place with Pakistani food by Pakistani people who serve with an open heart. It is always a good sign when you have people from the Pakistani community being there and enjoying the food.

Very happy with our great experience at Ashiyana , we ordered chicken nuggets with fries, chicken biryani, karahi chicken and chicken ginger with naan. All of our dishes were great in taste. And the level of service we got was outstanding.

Food is great! The service unfortunately most of the time catastrophic. Only the owner knows to serve, talk and take an order. Because of the service we don't go anymore.

We were hungry in Berlin and we wanted a Pakistani cuisine and after group discussion we landed on this and it proved to be the right decision. Food offered spices that I grew up with. We had Chicken Karahi, chicken Biryani and Jinger Chicken. Great food also made eat more naan and we all ate more than our fill. Owner was very welcoming as well. Tariq Awan not only gave us attention but also answered our questions. He also offered karak chai that we could not accept due to time constraints. If you are in Berlin take metro to Wedding station and it is few steps away.

I was recommended to eat halwa puri here, so I came. My partner ordered a paratha omelet, and of course, chai was a must. Everything was delicious and authentic :) I'd happily come back and would happily recommend it :) P.S. I was very hungry and ate everything quickly, so I only managed to photograph chai.

Very nice chicken Biryani. Our butter chicken tasted a little off but the owner quickly gave us other options and apologised. Also they gave us a nice dessert on the house for the trouble.

BE CAREFUL WHEN YOU PAY TO THIS INDIAN GIRL. 😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡 On 20.09.25 between 14:00 - 16:00 I went to eat halwa puri with my German friend. Amazing halwa puri and Chae. I ordered 1 halwa puri 1 Anda pratha 2 Chae 2 Fritz Kola. The Indian girl on the reception, i was talking very nice to her guiding her for her study and language importance in Germany and she was thank full for that. The bill she gave me for all above mentioned items was 39 euros. I gave her tip also 5 euros as a nice gesture and we left. My German friend said that I doubt if it costed 39 euros as its not even 30 euros what we ate and then she fooled you playing nice and took tip also from you. I thought calling in the restaurant and inquire about the cost of the items we ate but didn’t so here is my review. The restaurant itself is amazing and tasty food but the Indian girl she is fraud. I hope the owner can check the camera that I gave her 50 euros and she returned me 11 euros. One week passed but it still makes me angry that she is fooling all the customers may be and the owner of restaurant also. 💔💔💔💔💔

The meat dishes are very tasty. Our favorite is the kofte. However, the sauce is very spicy. The experience was somewhat spoiled because the rice wasn't served immediately, and the meat began to cool in the broth. The tea is ordinary tea bags.

At the end of our 10 days Europe trip, we had the best Paksistani food in Ashiyana Halal Paksistani restaurant. Chicken Ginger, Curry Pakora, chicken Tikka and chicken sheekh kebabs all were really good. Very happy that we had food .

This is a true Pakistani restaurant. The food was fantastic and we’ve been to quite a few Pakistani-Indian restaurants around Berlin and Germany in our travels. This is the first time we’ve not only fully finished the food, but asked for more, and stayed for chai. If you’re looking to try Pakistani cuisine, or if you’re Pakistani yourself and missing your home and people, either way, this is the place for you
