Delicious, quality, large portions, relaxed atmosphere. We ordered salmon and udon soup. Lots of vegetarian options. A german couple on the train recommended the place to us, and we are very happy they did! We’ll make sure to revisit during our one week vacation.

The restaurant is usually quite tasty and I like the menu. Nothing extraordinary, but the quality has often been quite good. I've eaten a few different dishes and PHO here, but the meat in the PHO is really disgusting and feels like it's of poor quality. I really couldn't eat the meat.. :( Since the soup was otherwise very tasty, do yourself and your customers a favor and don't take the cheapest of the cheapest meat....You also use better meat in other dishes. It's 2 stars because the other orders were also good.

Good food and nice ambience although a bit pricey though for normal Asian food.

We actually "stumbled" here by chance because it was raining, we stopped just outside to get our bearings and the ambience, through the window, seemed inviting. In short, we didn't regret it. Great food and great service. A visit again on your next trip to Berlin is not out of the question. 😊

The soup also very minimalistic. I will give it another try though.. as the place was nice

Don‘t ever go to this Restaurant, please! There are so many great vietnamese restaurants in Berlin. It‘s an absolute Touri Trap. The Food has super low quality it tastes like frozen food. The sushi rice is already hard and we bit on suger in the rice. And the prices are up to the sky. It was one of the worst value/price experiences ever in my life in Berlin.

There is a nice atmosphere there and the service is very friendly and nice. We didn't wait too long and the food came. We ordered udon noodles with vegetables, chicken broth with noodles and summer rolls. All three dishes were very tasty. We will definitely go again and recommend wholeheartedly.

Order arrived incomplete. "Spicy roasted duck" (quote from the menu) was barely fried and not crispy. See photo. Extremely much cartilage/tendon because it wasn't fried properly. Really outrageous for €17. Price performance is zero. It is edible, nothing more

Loved this restaurant! From the moment we walked in we were greeted with a smile and offered the best table. The food was top notch, I especially liked the desserts - they just melted in your mouth. The whole evening passed in a pleasant atmosphere, with attention to every detail. The staff was also very professional. Not the worst restaurant of its kind in the area, but unfortunately really not the best either. The map is clear and somehow Asian. The food is OK if you can live with things like red onions in a green papaya salad without chili, or a cloyingly sweet sauce in which the otherwise decent salmon has been drowned. Big praise for the Newcastle Brown Ale! The ambience is valuable and pleasant, the staff attentive and very nice.

The perfect choice for our business dinner with international colleagues. Particularly noteworthy is the beautifully and comfortably furnished courtyard, which we were able to enjoy to the fullest in the mild temperatures. The relaxed atmosphere outdoors provided the ideal setting for continuing to talk in good company after the meal. The Asian-inspired menu impressed with its impressive variety and quality. Whether traditional Vietnamese dishes or creative fusion cuisine, each of us found something suitable. The friendly and professional service also made a significant contribution to ensuring that our international guests felt completely at home. The Royals & Rice has proven to be a great choice for a relaxed, stylish business dinner not only because of its excellent cuisine, but also because of its charming location. Absolutely recommended!

For me all the pros ended after you cross the nice terrace. That’s the only positive thing about this place. The service is subpar. The food is tasteless. I’m was literally perplexed how one can make asian food taste so bland. There was no spice, no umami, no flavour whatsoever, and the worst part is that the prices are on the higher side for such type of establishment (your average so called Asian fusion). And what‘s even more astonishing is the amount of customers and some people even make reservations here. Also don’t get the huge amount of positive reviews.

The location is great. The ambience is great 1 out of 3 service was great. Unfortunately, the other service staff were rather different (no eye contact, no thank you/please...).

Aesthetics is beautiful in the backyard in summer. The non-alcoholic drinks as well as the cocktails were really delicious! However, the food wasn't an OMG WOW moment, but it was delicious. We were a large group with many extra requests, everything was handled well, even if there were 1.2 annoyed eye rolls from the service staff. Everyone has a bad day, but unfortunately a lot of them still have a negative impact. Also rather louder in the evening.

Lovely garden area, nice food and good service. We were two adults going for a light, early dinner. It was quiet and nice. We shared some starters between the two of us: Tofu summer rolls, crispy salmon rolls and vegetarian dumplings. Delicious flavors.

We stumbled upon this place after seeing many positive reviews and a beautiful backyard. The sushi was really good, except the tuna seemed not fresh enough and had a slight off-taste. The basil smash cocktail was excellent, but the Aperol Spritz was likely diluted with mineral water and tasted bland.

Not tasty. No flavors. Nothing special. Not worth coming. The interior is nice. Service was bad. A waiter took long to take an order and besides bringing it we didn’t see him at all. I had a question about my Udon noodle with Grilled Avocado (I don’t see any avocado in my plate, do you?)

Food is completely overpriced and and not even that good and tasty. Rather small portions. You get much better value for money somewhere else. The waitress was incredibly unfriendly and impatient. The location and the courtyard is pretty nice though.

Ok food, good cocktails, ok price. They prepare crispy chicken with the bones though so it's a bit difficult to eat. Tables outside has a biergarten vibe and loud for a restaurant.

I ordered via Uber eats (so I am not sure with the ambiance, but ill still give them a perfect score). I ordered their grilled salmon king. I have to give this a 10/10. Rice perfect! We indulged in a variety of dishes that left our taste buds dancing with joy. The chicken curry was rich and flavorful, while the sushi was fresh and beautifully presented. The edamame was perfectly crunchy and delicate, and the addition of avocado to the wakame salad proved to be a perfect pairing. The highlight of the meal, however, was the silky tofu soup. It was absolutely exquisite, with a delicate balance of flavors that left us craving more. Overall, our experience at was great. The food was delicious, the ambiance was charming, and the service was top-notch. It was the perfect way to celebrate a special occasion, and we will definitely be returning in the future!

One of the best Asian restaurants in Berlin - especially in summer when you can sit in the beautiful courtyard. Great food, great ambience and friendly and fast staff. Portions are not overly large, but extremely tasty - ideal for a special evening.

This was our second time at R&R and we were very satisfied again. The service was very attentive and friendly, the food came hot to the table for 7 guests almost at the same time and, like the starters, was very tasty and well portioned. The ambience is quite cozy in the front part of the restaurant with the lounge corner, but a bit more sober in the back part. The ceiling lighting didn't work at all the tables there and a slight smell of disinfectant from the toilet wafted through the restaurant at the back. The tables are well spaced so that conversations can be held at a normal volume. The cozy inner courtyard with its separate entrance/passage, which has already been heavily used, also looks very inviting. We will be happy to come back.

This restaurant situated in one of the most central areas of Berlin is well decorated and has an incredible ambiance! The waiters are really nice, but the food is of course the highlight! I had the chicken curry and it was delicious, a friend had the orange duck which I tried and regretted not ordering for myself - it was so tasty. Although the dishes are a bit on the expensive side, as well as the cocktails - which actually could have been better, I totally recommend this place for Vietnamese food and will definitely come back.

Situated just off Linienstraße and Torstaße in the heart of Mitte. A large and very atmospheric Vietnamese restaurant with ample seating outside in the courtyard during the months in Berlin that you can eat without freezing and a large comfortable interior ideal for couples and large groups of up to 20. Menu is not massive but does cover all the basics and includes sushi as well as all the traditional Vietnamese dishes. The drinks menu is as large as the food menu and is equally varied. We had the Orange Duck (which was fantastic), sushi, the burger, and wan ton. All were excellent. The service was incredible, bearing in mind it was Valentines Day, and so it was full from 6pm until closing time. Only small complaint was the rather pitiful Ginger Lemonade as this was basically water, 1 small quarter of lime, and some tiny ginger pieces. Not a lemonade and barely on the ginger spectrum! Don't order this one. Not impressed with that one, but to be honest, it didn't really spoil the overall experience as the rest of the evening was so good. Overall price for 2 adults and 2 children, (without alcohol) was under €80. Which I thought was extraordinary given the quality and portion sizes here. Highly recommended (as long as you avoid the ginger lemonade that is)!
