My wife and I dined here for the first time today. We will definitely return to this restaurant for dinner. We ordered a vegetarian starter plate for two with dips. A rich selection of different starters was served on a large platter. Three dips complemented the flavor experience. Our main courses were one with fish and one with lamb. They were served with rice. Both main courses were excellent. We ate in the late afternoon when the restaurant was moderately busy. It was pleasantly quiet, and appropriate music played in the background. The wait staff was very friendly and asked several times if everything was okay and if we had any requests.

This was one of our favourite restaurants. Unfortunately very disappointed this time. We ordered Dal Makhni and Paneer kofta for abholen. As we live in röttgen a bit far away from the restaurant, we picked up our order and drove back home. To our surprise the dal makhni was less than the regular amount we received normally and tasteless. We called the restaurant and they offered us a free dal makhni to take away. We drove to the restaurant again. The staff was nice, apologised and recognised the issue. Great on their side. Offered us replaced fresh dal makhni and a free rasmalai. Unfortunately the taste and quality of the dal makhni has changed, was still average. But sadly the rasmalai they offered us had completely released whey and was clearly spoiled. We had a very disappointing experience this time. :-(

Came all the way from Belgium. My parents had diner here before. It was their first time trying indian food and they really helped them out ordering different things. Now we went together. The food and drinks are excellent and I can't wait to come again! The people were really nice and they gave us a soup to try and a delicious dessert on the house. Thanks again! Me along with my friends went to try the ghee roast there. It was the worst.. we got the taste of the powder they were using sambar was watery, and ghee roast is the worst which we had to tell them.. also I had another experience for the buffet as the chicken curry was not good as we got the taste of raw chicken as the masala didn't get absorbed on to the chicken

The food and service were great! The portions were just a bit small for us. We sat outside, but unfortunately, this entire street in Bonn doesn't offer much for that. We'll definitely be back, though.

We left this place before we even finished eating. In the middle of summer, lots of guests are sitting outside. Inside, about 20% of the tables are occupied. All the guests are sitting tightly together around the open kitchen. We are given a seat directly in front of the open kitchen. An extremely unpleasant atmosphere. When I asked him if there was anywhere else without the clatter of cooking utensils and loud conversations between the chefs and service staff, he pointed to the table next to him, which was just as bad. When I asked him if there were any other tables, he denied them, even though they were all free. OK, this isn't the only restaurant in Bonn. We left and had a delicious meal at another Indian restaurant a few meters away. I can't recommend this place if the only seating here is at the cheapest snack bar level. After all, this is a restaurant, not a cheap snack bar, so I simply expect something different.

I would like to express my heartfelt thanks for the friendly service. The ambiance is also very impressive. The mango chicken was so dry, even marinated in the sauce, that my companion and I didn't enjoy it. Unfortunately, the tendon hadn't been cut out, so I found myself chewing on it. The mango sauce was delicious, but too sweet for me, so I couldn't finish it.

Cozy, affordable, delicious! Good food, friendly service, in a quiet spot. The food is spicy enough for Europeans, but can be adjusted to any taste :) We had kids and adults with us, and everyone was very satisfied. Thank you very much!😎

We ate the delicious Indian buffet during the week and were thrilled.

We were there spontaneously and chose the buffet for lunch for €14.90. Of course, the selection wasn't that huge, but what was there was of excellent quality. So I'm looking forward to our next visit, when we'll be there on the weekend and the food will be truly delicious.

1) No AC, very hot 2) I had to ask the waiter to clean up 3 times. Every time he said "Alles Gut" and walked away. 3) Loud kitchen staff yelling at each other 4) The lamb biryani was too salty

We ate here with the family today, and it was fantastic! The food was delicious, especially the various curries and the large vegetarian appetizer platter. The drinks were also great, especially the mango lassi. The server was very attentive and, because I didn't like my drink (soda lemon), he offered me another one in exchange. The atmosphere was great; we'll definitely be back!

I visited the restaurant with my girlfriend for the first time yesterday. I must honestly admit that I haven't been greeted and served so politely and friendly in a restaurant in a long time. Huge praise goes to the waiter who served us. The food was also very, very delicious. Since I'm familiar with Indian cuisine, I can only recommend it to everyone. This restaurant deserves even more stars. I'll be back.

An absolute recommendation. Extremely good, the prices are quite high, but for this quality, I'm willing to pay a few euros more. One of the best Indian restaurants in the entire Rhineland.

We went there for the first time the Sunday before last. We actually wanted to eat a la carte, but we didn't know that wasn't possible on Sundays (only the buffet). What can I say: we were lucky 😉 So we were able to try a lot of things. The selection was plentiful (several vegetarian dishes, several chicken dishes, one fish dish, and one lamb dish). Plus bread, rice, salads, and dessert (which reminded me of French toast with cream). Without exception, everything tasted absolutely delicious. The service was also friendly and good. We're already looking forward to our next visit ♥️

It was my first time eating Indian food – and I couldn't have wished for a better start! The food was simply fantastic! I'd especially like to highlight the two desserts that the waiter served us based on his personal recommendation – absolute highlights! My companion's dish was also wonderful; we both loved it. The service was attentive, warm, and genuinely interested in providing us with a great experience. Overall, a thoroughly enjoyable evening with great food, great service, and a warm atmosphere.

The lunch buffet offers excellent value for money. There are plenty of options for vegetarians, too, and salad and dessert are also available. The dishes change daily and so far, all of them have tasted good. The lassi was also good. Highly recommended if you want to try a lot of different things for a small amount of money.

We visited the restaurant as a group and served ourselves at the buffet. The food was very varied, with something to suit every taste. The constantly freshly baked bread was the icing on the cake for the many hot dishes. We'd be happy to go back.

I have been to this restaurant twice so far. The first time I was there on Sunday for a buffet, I had a good experience, The food was nice and with different varieties, lamb curry, chicken and starters as well. There were also varieties in desserts. I ate till I was totally satisfied. Next time I again went there but on weekdays hoping for the same experience. I was there around 2pm and to my surprise there were literally no starters except soup, in main course food was cold, it was not kept on the heater or something, all chicken curry tasted similar to each other and cold. Also this time, naan was not present at the buffet and later the waiter brought and he said something like only 2 Naan per person, may be I heard it wrong. Also he was a bit pushy for drinks. He should know If someone needs it they will order, you don't need to ask every 15 mins. Overall one goes to the buffet to eat varieties of things, and not get restricted. Maybe it was a bad day for me. The only reason I am writing this is so that the restaurant owners can improve their service. I feel they don't care about Buffet service on weekdays. Please maintain it or don't offer it at all. Thank you

I went to Royal India for the first time today, and I'm thrilled! The food was delicious; I had the Chicken Tikka Masala and Garlic Naan for starters. The prices are great, too!

The food was very good and arrived quickly, and the service was extremely friendly. The only thing that bruised my ego was that they served a very mild version of the spicy chicken, as if I couldn't handle spicy Indian cuisine. Otherwise, it was great. Galigrü👍
