Beautiful restaurant, great staff, and excellent food. Not cheap, but definitely good value!

Salads and pasta have always been excellent! We've only had pizza once, and it was okay. Recommendation: Pasta Bella Vista – the portions are quite large, but they pack up the leftovers so you can have some the next day. Food costs between €15 and €20, drinks are quite expensive. The only slight drawback is the ambiance: it's very bright in the front, but the air in the back is sometimes stale (mostly from the kitchen, but once it was something else), and people can often see inside from the outside. The service is very friendly!

Very tasty meal, we had a pizza, a vegetable soup and a chocolate cake. All were delicious. Can recommend Alp herbs Swiss style tea and affogato as well 😊

I had lunch on a whim. A great lunch offer! The tomato soup I treated myself to beforehand was very aromatic and piping hot. As was the pasta dish that followed. I love it when food isn't served lukewarm! The pasta was also extremely tasty, and the portion was so large that I should have skipped the soup beforehand. That's often not the case with lunch specials at other restaurants. I was able to take home whatever I didn't finish without any problem. The service was also very friendly. I was completely satisfied and stuffed. Keep it up! I'd be happy to come back.

Finally open again after a long renovation. The food is highly recommended and tastes simply delicious. The portions are filling; I can recommend the Roundabout with a clear conscience.

We just ordered two burgers and a pasta dish for home delivery for around €60. The food arrived 45 minutes late and was partly cold. The burger buns were burnt, and the pasta tasted disappointing. Unfortunately, the value for money here isn't good.

A highly recommended restaurant for pizza and burgers. Modern decor, fast and courteous service. The restrooms on the first floor, accessible by both elevator and stairs, were very clean. The thin-crust pizza was delicious.

Plus point: they offer gluten-free spaghetti. Unfortunately, it was far too firm and dense, which didn't do the dish any good. The crème brûlée dessert was very tasty. The relatively young service team could be a bit more customer-focused; it's not pleasant to sit in front of empty glasses for half an hour. The ambiance at the Roundabout is very pleasant, and there was plenty of parking.

A very nice location with an outdoor area for balmy summer nights. Attentive service, happy to accommodate special requests. Pizzas are generously topped, and if there's still room, there are delicious desserts. I'm already looking forward to the winter tiramisu again 😍 The price is completely reasonable. Definitely a recommendation.

The food wasn't good enough for the price. Overall, it wasn't that great. And when you, as a single person, pay around €40 for the meal and then don't even get all of the food you have left, but only a portion of it, that's definitely enough reason not to eat there again. It's a real shame.

Gluten-free spaghetti was so undercooked it was inedible. I still had to pay. The ice cream sundae didn't match the description at all; one flavor of ice cream tasted old and chewy. It was whipped cream from a can. That's unacceptable for €9.30. I was then offered salad or something similar at the checkout, but I lost my appetite. Not again.

We waited 15 minutes and no one came. The menu was brought to us, but we weren't asked what we wanted to drink. At least three waiters walked back and forth, but no one came to the table. We then left the restaurant. The service was too slow and unattentive.

We ate here on June 22nd, 2025. The Calimaris was OK, but the burger was almost cold and the underside of the bun was burnt. They also forgot to bring a drink, and instead of beer, my girlfriend got non-alcoholic beer. This kind of service shouldn't happen, and the food should have been warm. When we asked, we were told that the owner had changed. That's a shame. We used to love coming here, but unfortunately not anymore. When we sat down, the waiter cleared the table but didn't clean it. Sorry, but that's part of it. The waiter should also know which burger she was bringing, as we ordered two different burgers. All in all, it was very bad, and the waiters need training. We definitely won't be eating here again.

Four of us went to dinner at the Roundabout at the end of December. The food could have been a bit hotter, but otherwise the quality was okay. For the prices charged, one would expect the food to be served a bit faster and hotter. The restaurant was about two-thirds full. The service could have been more attentive. We had to wait longer several times before we could order new drinks. The value for money could have been improved. In mid-February, the two of us wanted a drink around 10:15 p.m. on a Saturday night. We were greeted warmly and offered a table in the entrance area, very close to the bar. Although it was quiet, we were ignored for 20 minutes and couldn't place an order. Meanwhile, four(!) employees were at the bar, cleaning glasses and chatting with each other. No one even thought to move the three meters to ask us what we wanted to order. UNBELIEVABLE!!! We've never experienced anything like this before. Absolutely incomprehensible, given that there were only six guests in our area and the back of the restaurant was moderately busy. After 20 minutes of being ignored, we left. The service used to be significantly(!) better! We're definitely not going back to this restaurant anytime soon. Our route led us to "Back to the Roots" on Weserstraße, where we ordered in 30 seconds and received our drinks shortly thereafter. "Roots" is also a good place for food.

We hate to write negative reviews, but after years of loyalty and countless orders - even for a funeral with a large company - we unfortunately feel compelled to do so. The quality and reliability of the Roundabout team has declined dramatically recently. We described our serious shortcomings in two detailed emails (including those from January 18th and 29th): burnt food, late delivery and disinterested staff. Unfortunately, there has been no response to date - no apology, no offer, nothing. For us, who have ordered catering for entire family and corporate events for years, this ignorance is particularly disappointing. In the past, when Esra still worked there, the quality and service were always top. You had the feeling that someone really cared and everything was running smoothly. We now have to feel ashamed when we recommend food or have it served at events. We do not write this review lightly. But the absolute silence in response to our legitimate complaints leaves us no choice but to make our frustration public - in the hope that something changes and future customers are warned. We have never experienced anything like this after years of loyalty.

We each had a burger menu with an appetizer. The burgers were absolutely tasteless, the fries were also unseasoned and the salad was unrecognizably drowned in sauce. The starter was ok. For 2 people we paid 78 euros! A hefty price for little taste.

We went to the roundabout very often and always enjoyed it. Unfortunately the noodles were extremely greasy, which we weren't used to. The sauce for the frutti the mare tasted like it had been made straight from the bag. The waiter also had his fingers in my pasta and was chewing gum. We died of thirst too. Sad about the prices

Nach einer Shopping-Tour im Outlet Center haben wir den Tag hier mit einem leckeren Essen ausklingeln lassen. Der Service war sehr gut, nicht am optisch stören, :-).. ... Essen war sehr lecker und reichhaltig.

I recently visited the Roundabout in Montabaur and was thrilled. The atmosphere is modern and cozy, the service is friendly and attentive. The homemade pasta was a delight, and the pizza was impressive with its fresh ingredients. The drinks menu also leaves nothing to be desired. When the weather is nice, the outdoor terrace is a highlight. Overall, a great experience – I’d love to come back!

I came to this restaurant more than once. They have an Arab chef named Shabl. He is excellent and wonderful. He gives you his opinion and helps you choose your food. His food is delicious and wonderful! I tried all kinds of pasta, steak and burgers. It has become my favorite restaurant. Their service is fast and all the staff are nice.

The quality has decreased in all areas, I have known Roundebaout since the beginning. The Hamburg meat is not edible, according to the waiter they have a new supplier, that was the excuse I got when I asked the waiter why the meat is so tough, the beer doesn't always come cold, you pay so much money for an evening there and you're frustrated afterwards. It's a shame, Montabaur Roundebaout is a good alternative to sitting with friends, but now you're thinking twice about going there.

Price performance is simply not appropriate for me. The portions are large, but the meatball in the burger, for example, was neither medium (as originally ordered) nor did it look very appetizing (consistency of a flattened ball of mud) - the taste was also rather run-of-the-mill.

Greatest food and team in the entire Westerwald

The food was delicious, the waiter was friendly and was at the table several times to ask about our well-being, something that unfortunately you don't often see in other restaurants.

I usually write reviews very rarely. But this needs to be said now. We've eaten at this restaurant a few times over the last few weeks. Everything is good so far. Today we placed the order and waited about 40 minutes for our food, which seemed very strange to us. Then a waiter came and said the order receipt had disappeared or had been entered incorrectly. Don't get me wrong, mistakes can happen. But there was no apology from the waiter or any alternative to correct this mistake. I would say he was very rude and annoyed. I would like to keep your eyes open when choosing a career! The customer should be given a good feeling in the restaurant. That wasn't the case here. That doesn't work at all. In addition, we (and other guests) wanted to pay and this waiter had to be made aware of this by his colleague because he was sitting outside. As the manager of this restaurant, I would ask myself some questions about this one person!! Well, I won't be visiting this restaurant again for the time being.

If you want to drink good coffee, this is the wrong place. In addition, if you order a latte macchiato or cappuccino with another milk, you just get a latte. You can even do it better at home with a simple machine. I don't even want to mention the service, unnecessary discussion and no compromise solution to customer satisfaction.

Absolute failure. The service is bad, it took a whole 20 minutes until we could finally order drinks and only because I called the staff to the table. The food took forever to finally arrive, and we only had baked pasta and a pizza, so only two standard dishes. Pasta was oversalted and burned at the bottom of the shell and the pizza was a disaster. I've never seen a salami pizza like this before... you just couldn't eat it, because the topping was too thick for the dough, it just flowed onto the plate instead of staying on the pizza. I understand... thin, Italian style dough... but then it MUST be crispy and not wafer-thin, soggy and limp. When I pick up a piece of pizza, I want to take a bite and not see it all flow into the plate. It's a no-go to serve the food to one person at the table and make the others wait another 10 minutes... I heard the chef say "Oh, I forgot the salami pizza." But no one came to the table to let us know, let alone apologize for this situation. When we expressed our complaints and said that the pizza would not be paid for because it was not edible, no one came to meet us or apologized. First and last time. Apart from that, the billing was not correct. I had to pay 46.50 euros, which was total freedom since the pizza was fully charged, I paid with a 100 euro note and instead of my change of 53.50 euros I got something... 43.50 euros! So 10 euros were missing, for which no apology was given. Oh yes...it's so easy to lure people with authentic Italian dishes, but that's not true here either.

Nice restaurant with a terrace and parking spaces in front of the door. Nice staff, large selection of burgers, salads, pizza, pasta etc. Large portions. Prices slightly higher. Salad dressing a bit bland... Then why only 3 stars? Even the placemats (artificial leather) were so sticky that they had to be wiped off first - OK: it can happen. But if I prepare fresh salads behind the glass counter, touch other things in between and if it's just the earring, the hairline and then I don't wear gloves, don't wash or disinfect my hands and just wipe my hands with a kitchen towel and reach into the fresh salad again - it will To me, from a food hygiene/HACCP perspective, it's scary.

It was very loud and therefore uncomfortable. The tablecloth was sticking and the salt and pepper mills also looked like they hadn't been wiped down in a while.

Price-performance ratio is not right for me personally. Therefore it remains a one-time visit.

This was not a given and shows the extraordinary commitment to the satisfaction of their guests. Ordered a family pizza. 30€ is already steep and the taste was very poor. The dough is very yeasty and not as crispy as it should be. Milk was probably used here, which makes the dough a little crumbly. The sauce and cheese were rather neutral in taste. Unfortunately the delivery time wasn't right either. There really are better and cheaper alternatives.

I think the location and the ambience are great. Good meeting place for a few drinks. The operating staff is very young and inexperienced, but they try very hard. However, I have to criticize the food. I find €20.00 for a burger (price without side dish) prepared with a frozen patty sad. The flesh has no structure and is rubbery. The meat actually tastes better at McDonalds and Co. I can't say anything about the other dishes. But I wouldn't be surprised if it was similar.

Underground. Bottle of water just under €8. A large side salad for lunch for €10, consisting of cheap lettuce and served with thin, tasteless dressing. Almost 30 minutes of waiting time. You can safely save yourself.

Vor wenigen Jahren lohnte es sich dorthin zu gehen, jetzt rate ich vollkommen ab. Ging schon am Empfang los, leicht unfreundlich. Setzte sich beim Bestellen der Getränke fort, völlig inkompetentes Personal, die können ja leider nicht mal etwas dafür wenn diese nicht entsprechend geschult werden. Der Hit war noch als die das Reinigen der Tische beobachtete. Reinigungsmittel wird auf den Tisch aufgesprüht wenn Serviette und Besteck auf dem Tisch sind! Danach wird Serviette und Besteck beiseite geschoben und wieder gesprüht. Also befindet sich zu 100 % das Mittel sowohl auf Besteck als auch auf der Serviette. Ein Soße für einen 24,90 EUR Hamburger muss extra bezahlt werden und die Qualität der Pommes entspricht McDonalds. Ansonsten ist der Service in Summe einfach nur grottenschlecht.

We ate spaghetti ice cream there in the afternoon. The ice cream wasn't fresh and we had to look for the cream. Very disappointing for the high price of 18 euros for two ice creams.

The ambience is somewhere between Vapiano and L'Osteria. It's fine, but nothing to spend a comfortable evening in. The pizza is nothing special and any ambitious hobby chef can do it better. The Pizza Speziale turned out to be a failure for me. The dough wasn't a highlight, but it wasn't the worst either. Unfortunately, when it came to the toppings, they saved money in the wrong corners. The cheese probably led to a rather strange taste experience. Slightly sour in the finish, which some varieties definitely have. I would definitely optimize it here, not skimp on the parmesan and not take it out of the oven too early. Not a repeat for me, but not a warning either.

I was here for dinner with my wife at 6 p.m. today. We were warmly welcomed and happily informed that there would even be live music today in the form of a DJ. Unfortunately I have to say when it started it was way too loud. You could no longer converse, the waitress didn't understand your orders and complaints and you had to repeat yourself several times. After we packed our stuff ourselves and moved to a table at the entrance, things were a little better in the short term. However, suddenly an attempt was made to play the music not only through the DJ's system but also through the ceiling speakers in the restaurant. But this hardly succeeded. There was always an overdriven crash coming from the speakers and the guests were constantly looking at the ceiling. In the end, we wolfed down our food, which we could have enjoyed, and fled. In my opinion, the technology should be running before the guests sit at the table and the music (which was absolutely not my thing) can be played louder in the evening. But not if you want to have a leisurely meal at 6 p.m.

Service doesn't understand German well. Beer was delicious. Nacho plate a complete failure. All the chips were stuck together with cheese and were barely edible because everything stuck together like concrete. Those served were not served. Just as little cutlery to break down into chips.

I order the lunch menu and don't receive any soup, saying it's extra!!! 😕 For me this is part of the menu and it is not listed differently on the menu!!! Very weak in my opinion for such a restaurant. I probably won't come back again.
