Rotisserie Weingrün in Berlin

Visitamos este restaurante un lunes por la noche y era bastante tranquilo. Mi marido tenía el triple de la parrilla que incluía un cuarto de pollo rotisserie, un filete pequeño y dos costillas. Era muy sabroso pero bastante caro para lo que tienes. Tenía el pollo de la rosquilla que tengo que admitir que estaba un poco seco. La crema brûlée que compartimos de postre era encantador. El servicio fue un poco lento dado lo tranquilo que era el restaurante.

Traditional German food, friendly and attentive service, cozy interior. The food was fine, but it didn’t blow our minds, so to speak. Reasonable prices.

The setting at Rotisserie Weingrün was elegant, and I had high expectations when I ordered their Finnish salmon grilled on the nail board & flambéed with whiskey, dill-mustard sauce . The description alone promised a visually striking and flavorful dish. However, when the salmon arrived at my table, something was missing—the signature flambé. I had chosen this dish specifically for its dramatic tableside presentation, where the whiskey is set aflame before serving. The absence of this step was disappointing, not only because of the lost spectacle but also because the flambéing process enhances both aroma and taste. When I pointed it out to the server, they seemed apologetic but did not offer to correct the oversight. Instead, I was left with a well-cooked but ultimately underwhelming piece of salmon. The fish itself was tender and flavorful, with a pleasant smokiness from the grilling, but without the whiskey flambé, the depth of flavor I had anticipated was simply not there. The accompanying dill-mustard sauce helped compensate, but it couldn’t fully make up for what should have been a defining feature of the dish. Rotisserie Weingrün is clearly a restaurant that prides itself on presentation and technique, which made this mistake all the more frustrating. Next time, I’ll be sure to confirm that the flambé actually happens before placing my order.

We ordered food around 19:20, and chicken was already sold out - which is the main dish unfortunately. I opted for a steak for 39 euros, however it cane overcooked (ordered medium-rare but got medium-well done). The taste was not bad, but it did not correspond to the price really. Beer was good.

A nice restaurant with delicious dishes. I was allowed to take a few international work colleagues there and everyone was thrilled.

5 stars – Simply fantastic! The Rotisserie Weingrün is an absolute highlight in Berlin! The food was not only incredibly tasty, but also perfectly prepared - every dish was a delight. The meat in particular was tender, juicy and of the highest quality. The side dishes and wines were excellently matched and rounded off the taste experience perfectly. The service was first class: attentive, friendly and always present without being intrusive. You can tell that the work here is done with a lot of passion and attention to detail. The atmosphere in the restaurant is stylish and cozy - you immediately feel at home. If you are looking for a culinary experience in Berlin, you should definitely visit the Rotisserie Weingrün. I'll definitely be back!

Encontré este lugar en línea y reservado con anticipación , muy eficiente. Tardamos un poco de tiempo en encontrarlo, pero esencialmente, valió la pena y cuando ves dónde está realmente no está lejos de Humboldt Forum o Archotel John F. Reservamos para un viernes por la noche y estaba ocupado, los dos anfitriones sirviendo eran excepcionales, tenían un gran sentido del humor e hicieron nuestra noche aún mejor. Usted está sentado en bancos largos pero si hay múltiples partidos hay una buena separación. Tiene un ambiente cálido y acogedor. Éramos 3 así que compartimos 2 entrantes ya que los platos principales se veían grandes. Teníamos el jamón alemán con rábano picante fresco y el plato de salmón ahumado, ambos eran espectaculares , porciones generosas y realmente frescos con buenas combinaciones de sabores. OMG la cesta de pan que vino con él fue el MEJOR de todos los tiempos, tuvimos que controlarnos ya que habríamos terminado muy felizmente el lote , te cobran por extra que es bastante justo, pero vale la pena pagar! Para platos principales elegimos el Salmón Finlandés, que se sirve en una tabla y luego se prende fuego, dos de nosotros tuvimos la mitad de pollo, tan húmedo y delicioso, una porción Hugh. La carne se cuece sobre brasas. Teníamos el puré de patatas con trufa, Delicious, las verduras asadas y patatas salteadas. Estos fueron suficientes para nosotros tres. Tuvimos un gran vino local y los postres eran igualmente buenos , con el toque añadido de una vela de cumpleaños para uno del grupo. Gracias al equipo que tuvimos una velada excepcional, con comida y servicio excepcional. Lo recomiendo encarecidamente.

Fantastic atmosphere, staff were brilliant and accommodating, the food was delicious. New set menu was just perfect! Wine pairing with it was spot on.

It’s a great German restaurant. I ate grilled chicken with potatoes but it came with no sauce. I don’t know if that’s how it’s eaten,I had to ask for ketchup. Otherwise great service. They pay attention to details and I loved the dessert

All staffs are super friendly and warm welcoming☺️ We ordered a steak, chicken, crispy pork belly and ribs for 4 people, good portion and all of them are delicious ! 😋 Wrapped up with Creme Brulee and freshly made choco lava cake. A perfect night for us ! Will come again when we visit Berlin 😊

Limited menu but it is good. You'll have a choice of five main dishes. If you're a vegetarian, stay away. Has a good wine selection. We had the Paderborn chicken, the ribs, and the pork belly. Perfectly cooked, but sides are extra and small. If you want a great experience, avoid busy times (come later) as there is limited staff, though they can speak English. I would recommend.

Super place! Especially well designed interior and a great place to be on the canal. Very relaxed end of the canal, highly recommend this lovely place if your looking for higher quality food and Atmosphäre in the area.

The food was simply top notch, from the first olive, to the flamed salmon and Caesar salad to the crème brûlée! Rarely have I eaten so well. The service was super friendly. We are thrilled and will definitely come back.

Difficult to find a place abroad with excellent quality, after two days in Berlin we had lost hope. This evening, however, a nice surprise. Very kind staff, very nice place and the tables outside are welcoming and in a quiet area even if they are not far from a major road. The food truly excellent. Excellent vegetable burger, perfect salmon, tasty, well cooked and seasoned. Satisfying buttery mashed potatoes. Advised!

Top restaurant! Right in the center but still quietly located on the water. Very friendly owners, nice atmosphere, I immediately felt at home. We had delicious ribs and a cheese plate for dessert.

Carta reducida , aún así tardaron más de una hora en servirnos el pedido. Y eran básicamente Olaso ya de salchichas. Tuvimos que pedir una cerveza tres veces para que nos la sirvieran. Mal cuidado del cliente. Eso si las salchichas caseras excelentes.

We had a wonderful meal tonight at Rotisserie Weingrün. Lovely atmosphere, excellent service and perfect food. We’ve never tasted such succulent chicken and the 24 hour pork belly was superb. A busy night for the staff and I realise they were short a staff member however it didn’t affect the excellent level of service we were afforded. 11 out of 10 for service. Really terrific place and we are so great we found it. House Riesling was excellent too.

All around fantastic place. Great service, delicious food and some great wine selections. Get the ribs or the sausage plate if they are available. Definitely make a reservation and, if the weather is good, opt for the magical terrace seating.

Very friendly and welcoming staff who went above and beyond to ensure we had a great meal. The fish and meat dishes pictured both were enjoyed thoroughly. The vegan burger was good but wish there was more vegan options. Would recommend for a great meal.

We went here for dinner last week. For the main course we had a mixed grill plate with US beef, chicken and spare ribs. Really excellent. And what impressed me: the Bearnaise sauce is whipped here by hand. I haven't experienced that in many years. Chapeau

Starting with the building is amazing The atmosphere inside is simple and beautiful The service was really great, They also speak perfect English and make you feel very welcome I tried the Himbeere secco (alkoholfrei) and it was amazing, I had the Caesar salad with ribs and it was sehr lecker, my friend had the flambierte salmon and she also loved it and said that the white wine was good. Overall a really nice place, nice atmosphere and great service, sehr zu empfehlen 💚 vielen lieben Dank

The young gentleman that was working Friday night (05/07) was so so lovely. Excellent customer service, very professional and honestly probably the best customer service I received in a restaurant in Berlin in the past 6 years. He should get a raise or bonus. The food was also excellent. We will be back 👍

Good food but there are many large groups Bad acoustics. You cannot understand each other. When the weather is nice, the terrace is an option. Reservations are a must.

Outstanding service. The staff is warm and wonderfully calm. The food is fresh and enough to fill you up, if that's important. The bread served before the meal is delicious. It's worth coming for that alone ;) The prices are reasonable. We will be back!

I found this nice restaurant closeby the hotel I am staying in. Relaxing atmosphere and very friendly staff. The roasted chicken was good, the dessert too. I would definitely come back if around this area again.

Heel gezellige zaak, die volledig vol zat. Echter was de bediening zeer nors en onpersoonlijk. Eten was niet slecht, maar kleine porties voor de prijs (vb: portie friet kost €5, maar bakje is maar voor de helft gevuld).

We received a very friendly welcome, the food was excellent (steak and trifle), and the atmosphere was very appealing. A great surprise was the very good espresso (Andraschko), which was served with a shot glass of chocolate mousse, which was the perfect ending. The waitress was very attentive and we felt completely at home.

I certainly recommend this place. We found this restaurant randomly and we thought we should check it out. We ordered the lamb shank, half a chicken, grilled vegetables and crème brûlée. We loved them all. Our waitress recommended a white wine which was very good too. The interior, ambiance and the staff are very nice.

As always, it was an experience to visit the Rotisserie Weingrpn. The service, ambience and of course the food were excellent as always!!! After a spontaneous visit a few years ago, we are absolute repeat offenders! We recommend any time... ;-). Please take the duck with you in spring too ;-). It's sensational!!!

Our first visit here, for a late meal after a wonderful concert in the Pierre Boulez Hall. The Weingrün is a great place: historical building (not really old, but at least from the end of the 19th century, and that's very rare in central Berlin), modern interior, friendly service, delicious food and drinks! We had a self-composed menu consisting of beetroot tartare, flamed salmon or mashed potatoes with truffles and grilled vegetables as the main course, and shortcrust tarts with raspberry sorbet afterwards. Plus Negroni, Palatinate Chardonnay and port wine, in the appropriate order. Yummy! Maybe not so good for late guests, the kitchen only takes orders until 10pm. But still: We would love to come back :-)

My best experience in Berlín! We had a canceled flight, it was 10pm and We were so tired. The waitresses were so Kind and professional. They took good care of us. The food was deliciosa!, the dishes presentation and the ambient beautiful and cozy. The interior design perfect. Thank you very much, 100% recommended.

Tolles Restaurant in super Lage

Buona qualità, intendiamoci però, nulla di eccelso, carne saporita, pollo arrosto un pò meno e ha bisogno di essere aiutato con un pò di salsa in cottura, tavoli molto ravvicinati, troppo per un ristorante di alto livello, servizio come tradizione tedesca impeccabile, conto purtroppo inesorabilmente sopra la media con le ciliegine dell'acqua sui 7 euro e la scivolata del secondo cestinino di pane a 3.

*CHRISTMAS DAY MEAL* Firstly, I will start off with the positives - The chicken was definitely one of the best meals I have ever had - compliments to the chef. The truffle mayo is literally just that - shaved truffle on top of mayonnaise and added nothing to the experience. The bad - With this being a fine dining establishment the staff (not all) definitely look down on you for your appearance. The male who greeted us isn’t especially welcoming which instantly brings a negative vibe to the experience, it isn’t hard to welcome all guests with a smile and make sure they are equally tended too throughout the night, if you can’t manage the basics of the hospitality industry maybe leave to find a more miserable job that suits your personality. There was a female server who was particularly attentive but I feel like she was aware of how rude the rest of the staff is. I wish I got her name but I didn’t. Maybe the owner of the establishment needs to have their family eat here and actually address the reviews left here regarding staff.

Mixed grill is awesome. The bernaise sauce is among the best I've tasted.

Perfekte Speisen, hervorragender Services. Leider ist das Lokal, wenn voll besetzt zu laut. Das hat weniger Spaß gemacht. Trotzdem, zur richtigen Uhrzeit gern wieder.

Bin nur zu Besuch in B und habe die Empfehlung bei meinem Spontanbesuch von "CK - Die Friseure" in Berlin von einer der Damen vor Ort erhalten. Was für ein geiler Tipp! Tolles Ambiente, extraordinärer Service, mein Lieblingsbier (Unertl), tolle Karte..... Hatte die Spareribs, Kartoffelstampf und einen Cesars Beilagensalat. Durchweg hohes Niveau, gute Zutaten, prima zubereitet; besonders erwähnenswert ist die BBQ Sauce, die geschmacklich so dicht ist wie eine Jus. Ich würde gerne, aber es gibt nix zu meckern ;)

A beautiful and edgy place which gets you out of the cold. The staff were warm, however you needed to call them over as they were not very attentive. Food was reasonably priced and very delicious. A good arrangement of drinks menus also.

Grundsätzlich alles super, bis auf den Weg zur Toilette, da kann man sich etwas verlaufen, vorallem zu fortgeschrittener Stunde. ;) Und die Portionen sind sehr! gering bemessen, ein Müh mehr, wäre schon hilfreich.
