We went there again for dinner. Which is quite good, but what I find extremely outrageous is that if you spend over 100 euros on food, you still have to pay 50 cents for mayo. The response you get is that everything is expensive and some people put a lot of ketchup on it when it didn't cost anything extra. Plus, a portion of fries costs 5.50 euros, which I find very cheeky.

We went to Rothenbusch again and were disappointed. Unfortunately, there were no cushions for the hard chairs. They seem to have been discontinued. I had schnitzel and ordered a side salad. You get two schnitzels. The first was okay. The second was unfortunately burnt on the side that was cleverly placed on the bottom. I couldn't eat it. The kitchen must have known this, because part of the breading had been removed.

A great place to sit and relax. A nice playground, though more suited to older children. A good selection of food, and the taste is excellent. The service staff is very helpful and courteous. We'd be happy to come back.

So what should I say? I like to eat out often. I only ever find kebabs/pizza or similar restaurants (which aren't bad either), but Palatinate cuisine is simply perfect for these prices. It tastes filling and is within budget.

The only minor criticism is that food has to be ordered and picked up from the restaurant itself. Perhaps a bit more service would be desirable here. Otherwise, everything was excellent.

A new discovery for us. Although we travel a lot, we had never heard of this place before and stumbled upon it quite by chance while searching for the area on Google Maps. It's a lovely bike ride from the direction of Fronmühle, and the location is idyllic, with a very large outdoor area and plenty of umbrellas. The food selection is larger than in comparable huts, with large portions (e.g., schnitzel) at fair prices, and the taste is okay (the fries could be better seasoned). €5 for a Müller spritzer is too high.

The staff is very helpful. People with disabilities are also very welcome here. The food is excellent and the prices are very reasonable. The quality and service are exemplary, and we will definitely return. Highly recommended!

Inspired by the SWR3 Tierdocs, we visited this restaurant to try Fleeschknepp for the first time. ChatGPT had recommended this beer garden to us as one of the few serving Fleeschknepp in the greater Neustadt an der Weinstraße area. We were very pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food and the service.

When you offer prices like that, everything has to be just right. That wasn't the case. Even for a small allotment garden. Or perhaps precisely because of that. And then there's the self-service. Which isn't normally a problem. But it just doesn't add up.

Whenever I'm nearby on my bike, I come by here... when it's ebb, I drink and eat... then we move on again... really Palatinate...🙋‍♀️

A somewhat secluded but therefore quiet beer garden. The food was delicious, but unfortunately, everything was self-service. The garden was well-kept, and the guests had a great time.

An excellent place! There is a children's playground, a forest and a stream nearby. Food, drinks and ice cream are also available. Nearby, a forest path leads towards Haßloch, ideal for a walk after a hearty meal.

Is in an allotment garden. Since the weather was great, we sat in the beer garden. We ate bread dumplings with wild mushroom cream sauce, it was very tasty. 2 huge homemade bread dumplings with plenty of mushroom ragout. The mixed salad was also very good. It's self-service, but that doesn't bother you at all.

We are here often. and are very satisfied! Food top service top! There aren't 30 of us, but we still check the internet to see if it's open. If the weather is nice, we may call in advance and reserve a place.

It's actually always nice there, but unfortunately we're standing in front of a closed door with around 30 people. Although according to the notice it should be open!

Delicious food and good prices. The 2 ladies who work here are very nice. It is self-service in the restaurant. You get tabletop devices that vibrate when the food is ready. Every Saturday is schnitzel day, with a large selection of schnitzel variations. There is a nice playground for the children outside. The adults can sit close by in summer. Parking spaces available directly in front. The restaurant can also be reached via the (Order) Forest.

We stopped there during a bike tour. The food was basically ok, burgers very good, fries great, schnitzel Viennese style unfortunately not fried properly, the breading was soft and mushy and somehow there was no salt. But all in all it's enough for four ****. We found the atmosphere good, everything was clean and tidy.

Food was very tasty and very filling. When you order food in the restaurant you get a detector that shows when the food is ready.

After discovering how difficult it was to get something to eat after 2 p.m. on Friday, we were very pleasantly surprised that there was apparently always warm food available during opening hours. You order inside and pick up your food when the device vibrates. The food was very good and there was a lot, you could have ordered a small portion. Getting there by car is a bit adventurous, but there is enough parking space.

My sons and I loved it! Despite self-service (not unusual in the Palatinate Klausen), the food was brought to our table. Price is completely okay for the classic Palatinate dishes with decent portions. It's a shame that it rained, you can certainly spend a great summer with children in the outdoor beer garden area. A Soi square with a large lawn invites you to play, while parents can enjoy this/that at various different seating options.

If you like it simple and don't have any demands on the food or ambience, you can get your fill here. When you calculate it exactly, it's actually too expensive there.

Nicely located with a beer garden and a nice playground. Unfortunately my liver dumplings weren't that great. Too little sauce and everything was completely watered down by the sauerkraut. Queues to order and long waits to eat. Toilets are also no longer up to date. Relatively expensive for self-service. (Schorle 4.50). But all in all it's okay.

Rustic restaurant in a garden colony. The food is good, especially the regional dishes. Food and drinks inexpensive. Location not particularly appealing from the outside, poor and narrow access. Service/counter staff were very nice, unfortunately only self-service.

Tolles Ausflugsziel mit leckerem Essen und super Getränkeauswahl. Grosse Spielwiese und Spielgeräte. Da keine direkte Strasse, hervorragend geeignet um die Kids unbekümmert spielen zu lassen. Aufgrund des hohen Aufkommens leider sehr lange Wartezeiten mit dem Essen. Teilweise bis zu einer Stunde.

Wir haben unser Abitreffen dort veranstaltet und waren super zufrieden! Es hat alles perfekt geklappt und alle unsere Wünsche wurden erfüllt. Das Essen war wie immer am Schnitzeltag super lecker und die Servicekräfte sehr freundlich und nett! Kurzum: ein perfektes Abitreffen!

Wir sind mit den Schwiegereltern hier wirklich oft. Leckeres Essen, freundlicher Service und toller Aussenbereich im Sommer. Mir hat es bisher immer sehr gut geschmeckt. Prost.

Schöne Gaststätte im Grünen mit Terrasse, Biergarten und Kinderspielplatz. Sehr freundliche Angestellte, eine fixe Küche und geschmeckt hat es obendrein auch sehr gut! Darum wird es noch weitere Besuche von uns geben. Ideal auch für Fahrradausflügler oder für Biker zum Rasten.

Schön sauber und gepflegtes Restaurant mit Biergarten. Optimal zum Einkehren nach einem Spaziergang. Für die Kleinen gibt es einen gepflegten Spielplatz. Die Bedienung ist freundlich. Das Essen hat eine angemessene Größe und hat ein gutes Preis- Leistungsverhältnis. Das Essen ist geschmacklich gut und wird frisch zubereitet. Es ist dort Selbstbedienung. Man bekommt einen Timer und holt dann das Essen vom Tresen selbst ab.

Netter kleiner Bier/Wein-Garten mit Selbstbedienung. Personal sehr nett und freundlich, reelle Preise und gute Küche. Spielplatz auf dem Gelände. Zu empfehlen :-)

Kaum scheinen die ersten Sonnenstrahlen zieht es uns wieder in den Rothenbusch, den schönsten Biergarten der Stadt. Die große Außenterrasse ist mit qualitativen Möbeln bestuhlt und man fühlt sich wohl. Die Speisen und Getränke werden immer noch in Selbstbedienung bestellt und abgeholt. Die zahlreiches Tageangebot sind auf Kreidetafeln angeschrieben. Wie üblich gibt es deftige Hausmannskost und Pfälzer Klassiker zu vernünftigen Preisen. Die Qualität der Speisen ist solide, wie man es in einem Ausflugslokal erwartet. Wir hatten dieses mal Semmelknödel mit Waldpilzsoße und Pfälzer Fleeschknepp mit Salzkartoffeln in Meerrettichsoße. Die Gerichte waren optisch ansprechend und in guter Portion. Geschmacklich hätte man vielleicht noch ein bisschen mehr machen können, war aber Okay für einen Biergarten.
