I had the rump steak, and it was perfectly cooked, incredibly tender, and simply delicious. You can tell that they place great emphasis on good ingredients and careful preparation. I also really enjoyed the atmosphere: cozy, warm, and inviting, making you feel right at home. The staff was extremely friendly and attentive, yet pleasantly unobtrusive. I found the prices absolutely justified given the quality of the food.

Food was average, waiters friendly but disorganized and overwhelmed, prices comparatively above average. It's okay, but there are better options!

The salad that came with my companions' omelet was inedibly old. When I pointed this out, there was no reaction. My tortellini could have been a bit softer; al dente isn't to everyone's taste. There are significantly better Italian restaurants in Meissen. The prices are okay, but the wait for the food isn't. This was the first and last time we'll ever visit this Italian restaurant. What a shame. The quality is definitely a step down compared to its predecessor. Edit: Second attempt: They're selling cheap Coke as Pepsi Zero for €5.90 a glass! Absolutely unacceptable. The so-called ham in the food is the cheapest processed meat. Never again! There's a much better alternative just 200 meters away.

The service was great, and 3 out of 4 meals were good too. The tagliatelle with salmon should have been listed on the menu as: Garlic with salmon and tagliatelle. There was way too much garlic. You couldn't taste the salmon at all; the garlic was far too overpowering. However, the Nero de Avola was excellent. 🍷

We were a group of nine people and dined there on a Friday evening. The service was very attentive and good, as was the quality of the food. The wine selection was also very good. Highly recommended.

Very nice restaurant, great food, good value for money. We made a reservation online, and it worked perfectly. We went on a Saturday evening, and it was very busy. As a result, we had to wait a long time for our drinks and food. Our starter was forgotten. It tasted very good. They apologized several times, but the complimentary lemoncello at the end made up for it.

The price/performance ratio of the meal was disastrous. The Parmesan cheese was charged an additional €2, even though the main courses were already overpriced. Some of the food was oversalted and swimming in oil.

Dining in the beautiful ambience of the old town of Meissen

A very chic, reasonably priced Italian restaurant in downtown Meissen. We had a delicious meal there. The homemade pasta (fettuchine) is especially delicious. We'd be happy to come back. Despite being fully booked, the service is still on the ball, and there's little waiting time for anything.

Very nice pizzeria/restaurant! Wide selection of dishes, all fresh and very tasty (steak, salmon, pasta (fresh and homemade).) Very attentive and extremely friendly service. Other establishments could certainly take their example!! Guest requests are readily and promptly accommodated. We stopped by for dinner with eight people on a whim and had a lovely outdoor seating area and a pleasant and enjoyable evening!! We'd love to come back!!

Whether inside or outside, there's ample seating and a great atmosphere. The service is very fast, very attentive, and always friendly. The food is absolutely top-notch, with generous portions. The prices reflect the above. The Rosso Vino is highly recommended.

It's a shame there aren't 10 stars for service, because this team definitely deserves it. We had a wonderful meal yesterday with a toddler. It was a truly comfortable atmosphere with incredibly friendly staff. We were regularly asked about our wishes, but it wasn't intrusive at all. Everything went at a very reasonable pace – drinks arrived quickly, and the food was perfectly timed. The food was also incredibly delicious. We'll definitely be back. Thank you for the wonderful evening. We highly recommend this restaurant.

The water isn't just placed on the table, but opened and poured. The wine is carefully refilled, and the food is lovingly presented. Top-notch, highly recommended.

The ambiance was also perfect, stylish and cozy. I would definitely come back.

The daily specials and the homemade lemonades (greatly refreshing in these hot temperatures) are particularly noteworthy. The food is fresh and the value is excellent. Very quiet and beautifully laid out, the food looked very good...only ordered drinks....

I ordered a salad for €14.50, which unfortunately seemed more like a small side salad—disappointing for the price. The waitress didn't respond at all to my polite feedback that the salad didn't meet my expectations. I would have certainly expected a sign of appreciation for the guest and a willingness to improve in a restaurant of this price range.

Very good Italian restaurant. Everyone was booked and the place was busy. It was a warm day, so we used the beer garden. Since the table was reserved for later, we were seated. I recommend booking in advance, though. Very friendly service, and the food is also very good. The ambiance outside was very nice; there was even a small band playing music outside the restaurant. I can recommend this restaurant with a clear conscience.

We spent a lovely evening in the restaurant. Since it is very busy, it is advisable to book in advance. The service was very courteous and always present. The menu sounds very tasty and, like the drinks menu, leaves nothing to be desired. Unfortunately, the taste of the food didn't really impress me, even though it was very appetizingly prepared. My dish was bland and lacked the Italian spices that you would normally find in the dish. It also tasted very floury. You sit very comfortably on high-quality seating. The ambience itself is nice, but going to the toilet is adventurous, not possible for people with walking difficulties and the toilet is a bit outdated.

Unfortunately a big failure. The seating throughout the restaurant was very narrow so that you could follow the conversations across several tables. The correct drink was only delivered after two corrections because the employees didn't speak German very well. At the end we were given a very small portion as the main course, which would have been just as filling as a starter. Unfortunately for us, the restaurant will no longer be an option on our next visit P. Claus
