A fantastic hotel and restaurant. The staff took excellent care of us, providing a bed rail for our little one and serving delicious food in the restaurant. We will definitely come back to visit our relatives there.

It was our first time there and certainly won't be the last. Large beer garden, friendly service, and excellent food. We were there again and can only praise it again.

An all-around fantastic experience! You feel welcome from the moment you arrive – the ambiance is warm, cozy, and very inviting. I'd especially like to highlight the exceptionally friendly and attentive service. Everything ran super quickly and smoothly, without any rush, but at a great pace. The food was outstanding – fresh, delicious, and perfectly seasoned. A place you'll gladly return to. Absolutely recommend it! 👌

The food was delicious and inexpensive. I recommend it! But there are no roses in the garden :(...a rose garden without roses.

We recently went there for dinner with colleagues. I wasn't very hungry and opted for a salad plate for €12.90 – hoping for a light yet filling meal. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed. The salad consisted mostly of lettuce leaves (from a package?), a few olives, a bit too much vinegar, and some feta cheese. For that price, I would have expected significantly more freshness, variety, and, above all, fillingness – otherwise, a side salad would have sufficed, and it probably wouldn't have been any less filling. My colleagues' dishes also looked a bit better, but weren't convincing either. The risotto was unfortunately very dry and more reminiscent of polenta, and the portions were generally quite small. Conclusion: For a glass of wine on the terrace in the summer – I'd gladly go. But for the food, unfortunately, I see no reason to come back.

Great restaurant with first-class food and super friendly staff. Prices are very reasonable for the quality. The meat is excellent, the portions are generous, and special requests are no problem – overall, everything is just right. We look forward to every new visit :)

We arrived hungry in Riedlingen on a bikepacking tour and landed directly in the Rosengarten from the Hotel Gudrun via the parking lot. First impression: Very nice ambiance – both inside and out on the very spacious terrace. Second impression: Extremely friendly and courteous staff. Third impression: Very good food, German cuisine in the best sense. We were very satisfied and will definitely come back.

I would go back in a heartbeat; the food is delicious. There are also plenty of vegetarian options.

We were there today for dinner and I can only say that my pulled pork was a straight grade 1 and the staff were exceptionally polite and helpful and knowledgeable and the best of course is the dog Rhino who watches everything and controls who is allowed in and who is not, simply great and we will definitely be back

The food was actually good, the Maultaschen (swabian ravioli) and potato salad were delicious, but the venison roast died twice, and the service was either overwhelmed or overworked. Also, as other reviews have pointed out, the €1.50 charge for a small portion is rather outrageous given the price. Alternatively, you can, of course, stuff your kids with fries and spaghetti.

We went there for dinner. It was highly recommended to us by our hostess across the street from the restaurant. And it was really worth it - good, traditional German cuisine. The starter was great! Classic pancake soup. The main course had two delicious meat dishes: roasted loin with roasted vegetables, spaetzle with a very tasty gravy, and a mixed roast dish that was very tasty and delicious. Dessert was homemade ice cream. Very tasty. This restaurant is highly recommended. The staff are also very friendly and attentive. The beer is delicious and comes from a small brewery nearby - a solid 10 out of 10.

Great restaurant! A lovely atmosphere inside and out, super delicious food, and impeccable and incredibly friendly service! They also have a fantastic selection for vegetarians like us. It was our first time there, but certainly not our last.

We stayed there for one night on our Danube Cycle Path tour. The food was delicious, the service perfect, but if you get room 4, you're guaranteed not to sleep a wink, as the room faces the main street. Since it was quite warm, we couldn't keep the windows closed because there was no air conditioning. Until 5:00 a.m., we heard engine noise, shouting pedestrians, and "mobile discos," followed by music from the neighboring building across the street. It wasn't a very pleasant night in that room.

We only went there for dinner – because of the good reviews. We've rarely eaten so badly. Mass-produced food with no flair whatsoever: "packet sauce," reheated, sometimes already hard pasta, tough meat. And to top it all off: my wife wanted a small portion: the meat had apparently been cut in half with a fork, and the price included a €1.50 discount! My conclusion: never again

Very nice restaurant. The interior is very cozy and clean. The terrace is great. The food is also delicious. There are also various daily specials on offer. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The espresso was very nicely made. I'd love to come back. ❤️

Food ok, price for Riedlingen rather high. Location right next to the car dealership isn't really a hit. The boss seemed very direct, even with a harsh tone. A matter of taste... Food was average ok.

Ich habe das Original Wienerschnitzel mit Pommes bestellt. Die Pommes waren so alt, bzw wurden entweder im Alten Fett frittiert oder hatten die Fritteuse zum zweiten Mal begrüßt. Das Schnitzel wurde leider nicht im heißen Fett in der Pfanne geschwenkt, weil die Panade fest am Schnitzel klebte und nicht fluffig war wie es eigentlich beim original Schnitzel seien sollte. Der Preis für 29,50€ ist ja auch nicht gerade wenig, da erwarte ich mehr! Die Bedienung war freundlich.

We were at the Rosengarten with a large group and got a nice spot without a reservation. The food was very high quality and the hosts were super friendly. The owner even drove a few lazy walkers to our accommodation. Thank you very much for that.

Witr were there for dinner by chance. From now on we will go there on purpose. It was delicious, fresh cuisine, just made you feel good. Then there is the host couple... Cordiality and customer proximity are very important here. No question, we will definitely come back. We had dinner with 4 people, everyone had something different. Everyone was excited.

We had dinner with the family, four different dishes, all top fresh and very, very tasty!!! The onion roast is my favorite, the one in the Rosengarten is one of the top 3 ever. Stick to the quality and things will continue to hum...

We, two older cyclists, cycled from Sigmaringen to the 'Rosengarten'. We ordered the menu consisting of a very tasty salad and a kind of cordon bleu. Not with schnitzel, but with a shell of minced meat. Wonderful! The sauce that goes with it: unique. The spaetzle: the way it should be. At the unbeatable price of €13. Half a Pils from the 'Berg' brewery: € 4.10. Where else can you get that these days? With espresso there is a glass of water, like in Bella Italia. The atmosphere is modern and the pictures on the wall are pleasing. And, last but not least: the service is perfect. Before our next stage from Riedlingen to Ehingen we will first fortify ourselves in the 'Rosengarten'!

I haven't eaten so well in a long time. The onion roast was a highlight, the service was friendly and very attentive. The furnishings are very tasteful. We've eaten in the rose garden twice within 3 weeks and will definitely be back soon.

The place is clean and bright. But we were disappointed with the food to be honest. The Schnitzel for 19 Euros seemed deep fried and prepared beforehahd and not on the spot. The Spätzle tasted like they had been from a supermarket package. I am sorry to say this but it was quite disappointing. Side salads were expensive (like 9 euros). Staff was friendly though.

We stayed at the Hotel Gudrun and took the short route to the Rosengarten restaurant on the first evening. A very nice and cozy restaurant with a great sun terrace. Everything is at ground level, so I had no problem with the wheelchair. There is also a disabled toilet accessible via elevator (unfortunately still not a given)! Our vegetarian dishes were very good. The innkeepers are very friendly - they can't hide the fact that they really enjoy their work. We had very nice conversations with you - thank you very much for that! The next day we only had a nightcap in the evening, which was just as happy to be served. We will definitely stop by again the next time we stay overnight at the Hotel Gudrun!

Very nice restaurant with a great winter garden and a beautiful large terrace. The tenant couple is incredibly nice, friendly and accommodating. There is a menu where everyone can find something tasty. The cuisine is regional and honest. The portions are quite large and taste excellent. The mountain beer offered from a local brewery is also delicious.

The rose garden is actually known as a very good address in Riedlingen. Unfortunately, we had different experiences at the weekend. It was very busy, the waiting times were VERY long, and we wanted to order dessert. The waitress told us that there was only ice cream left and simply denied our order. The food was middle class and expensive.

We have been here in the rose garden several times and it is always amazing how delicious the food tastes. Starting with the homemade Maultaschen with the most delicious homemade potato salad or the homemade spaetzle, which are the best cheese spaetzle I have ever eaten, to the homemade dumplings, to name just a small selection. There are also different game and meat dishes, there is something for every taste. For vespers there is also a very, very tasty sausage salad in different variations. A very friendly and courteous service makes you feel comfortable in the rose garden. We also had a very nice conversation with the boss, who we immediately thanked for the delicious food. We feel very comfortable in the rose garden and would love to come back.

Consistently warm food is also very important to mention. For vegetarians there are actually quite a few dishes to choose from and not just vegetable plates. We were absolutely thrilled. 🙏🏼 We also had very nice conversations with the boss at the table. The service was handled by the boss that day. We got a nice seat and were served quickly. We didn't have to wait long for food either. Even the coffee was wonderful. We haven't experienced gastronomy in such a round and honest way for a long time. Very pleasant atmosphere from the ordering process to the serving of the delicacies. Special requests will undoubtedly be taken into account and kindly advised. The menu was delicious. However, since everyone has different preferences, each person should choose their own meal from the menu or have it created which tastes delicious. Events can be planned. The owners are flexible and responsive to the host's needs. A terrace directly behind the location was also permitted for nicotine addicts. In the cold winter, even a larger wooden burning bowl burns and radiates pleasant warmth. Completely satisfied. Prices are fair and affordable. Cars can be parked directly in front of the inn. I can only recommend the Rosengarten restaurant. Especially from a historical perspective. For over 130 years, some tenants/cooks/owners etc. lived and changed over time... But back today, I give it an honest A+++. The pork was a little too salty, but the portions and side dishes perfectly reflected the nuances. Thanks for the great service on January 19th.

Today we eat in a family environment. In terms of price it's just about the same. Unfortunately I can only give it 3 stars. 1.Food was lukewarm because the plates were kept cold. 2.Bullet Porck that was tough 3. A har was found on the plate. So you don't necessarily have to go there anymore. Service was ok.

We had dinner with family after prior reservation. Food was good and nicely presented, but priced at the "upper end". Spaetzle should be homemade at these prices. Service friendly and attentive. The restaurant's furnishings are high-quality and stylish.

Ich hab schon lange nicht mehr so super und ausgezeichnet gegessen. Die Weihnachtsfeier war spitze. Trotz Kartenbestellung war jedes einzelne Gericht sehr sehr gut und lecker. Der Salat frisch und selbstgemachte, findet man heute zu Tage nicht mehr so oft. Ich kann den Rosengarten sehr empfehlen.

Update: Auch in diesem Jahr war ich im Rosengarten. Erneut habe ich mich wohl gefühlt und lecker gegessen. Ich freue mich dass sich nichts gändert hat. Erste Bewertung: Das Essen war 1. Klasse und der Service war ebenfalls sehr gut. Für das Ambiente hätte ich mir ein großes Glas statt ein kleines Glas und eine 0,5L Flasche gewünscht. Aber das ist komplett wartungsfrei. Komme sicherlich wieder wenn ich mal wieder in der Nähe bin.

Gastronomen mit Herz, mit viel Liebe ins Detail! Wir haben hier unsere Hochzeit gefeiert. Zwar waren wir nur eine kleine Gesellschaft, trotzdem wollten wir nicht einfach nur „Essen gehen“ an diesem besonderen Tag. Es hat einfach alles gepasst, vom Vorgespräch bis zur Feier mit vielen liebevollen Überraschungen. Beispielsweise wurden wir mit einem liebevoll dekorierten Willkommensschild und Sekt empfangen. Vor unserem eigentlichen Hochzeitsmenü gab es ein „Gruß aus der Küche“ und zum Nachtisch von der Cheffin ein eigens für uns hergestelltes Eis (Zweierlei Parfait) und und und. Die Familie Huber hat dazu beigetragen, dass dies ein unvergesslicher Tag für uns und unsere Gäste geworden ist. DANKE für alles!

Empfehlenswert! Wir waren auf unserer Reise zweimal hier zum Essen und es waren alle Speisen ausnahmslos sehr schmackhaft zubereitet. Die Bedienung war flott und freundlich.

Leider war am Schnitzel weniger Fleisch als Panade 70% Panade 30% Fleisch Geschmacklich aber ok.

Das Essen auf der Terrasse ist aktuell auf Grund der vielen Wespen ein Herausforderung. Alles in allem sehr zu empfehlen. Vielen Dank.

Der Rehbraten und das Duo vom Reh war sehr fein und ausreichend der Größe. Preislich passt das Preis- Leistungsverhältnis bewegt sich aber im oberen Drittel! Ganz vertrauliche Themen sind schwierig da die Tische eng gestellt sind !

Noch nie ein Restaurant erlebt, dass Qualität und Menschlichkeit so auf der Karte hat.Alain Ducasse  würde hier als Küchenhilfe arbeiten. Hier wird man mit einer Herzlichkeit empfangen, die an jeder Ecke der Gesellschaft fehlt. Tipp:  Fassbier. Mit etwas Glück wird Fassbier+ daraus. Grüße an den Chef! Danke für die leichte Sehschwächen  beim Schnaps einschenken.

Tolle Küche und super Service. Auch bei größerer Person ist hier à la carte möglich, was wirklich super ist. Schöne Terrasse zum draußen sitzen. Machen auch Catering.

Carte relativement courte mais en même temps complète (viandes, poissons, végétarien), avec notamment des plats régionaux. Plats bien cuisinés, copieux et joliment présentés. Service poli, souriant, attentionné, ainsi qu'accueillant également pour les étrangers (menu disponible en anglais, personnel parfaitement anglophone, ...). Grande terrasse ensoleillée (on a heureusement pu en profiter), mais aussi grande salle intérieure.

Nettes Personal und zuvorkommende Betreiber. Die Ausstattung ist sehr gehoben und das Ambiente äußerst einladend. Die Terrasse ist ein Traum und ein wahrer Geheimtipp! Auch das Essen konnte auf ganzer Linie überzeugen, wir kommen wieder!

Das Fleisch war auf den Punkt genau gegart. Pommes und Spätzle sind hausgemacht. Und erst der Nachtisch: ein echter Genuss !!! Dieses Restaurant können wir absolut weiter empfehlen. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder !

Mit leckeren Traubenknödeln Alles mega lecker Super Bedienung und extrem schöne Location. Sieht alles neu aus.

Nettes Lokal mit Terasse. Bedienung freundlich und flott. Der angebotene Zwetschenkuchen - laut Aushang hausgemacht - entpuppte sich für meinen Geschmack als Pflaumenstreusel mit Mandelstiften aus der Tiefkühlabteilung eines Großmarktes. Für mich kein Genuss. Da sind 3,60 € großzügig kalkuliert. Auch der Tiramisu-Kuchen stellte sich als Kirschstreusel (TK?) mit nachträglicher Sahneauflage+Kakaopulver dar. Kostet: 3, 80 €. So macht das keinen Spaß. Ach ja. Kaffee 3 €, Latte Machiato 4 €. Wir kommen nicht wieder.

Das unter der Rubrik "Gegrilltes" aufgeführte Lachsforellenfilet zum stolzen Preis von 18,50 € mit einer Beilage zur Wahl entpuppte sich als Miniportion ohne jegliche Dekoration, die auf dem Teller in ein wenig geschmolzener Knoblauchbutter ziemlich verloren wirkte. Zwar zart und saftig, leider aber ohne Grillspuren und völlig fad, musste der Salat den Hunger stillen. Fazit: Nicht noch einmal!

Auf der Durchreise nach Italien bzw. Kroatien haben wir nun schon häufiger im Rosengarten einen zweitägigen Zwischenstopp eingelegt. Die Zimmer sind sauber und praktisch eingerichtet, wer es besonders ruhig haben möchte sollte nicht zur Straßenseite wohnen. Die Küche ist sehr empfehlenswert, ordentliches Frühstücksbuffet, abends im Sommer kann man zum Essen ein leckeres Weizen auf der Terrasse genießen. Die Chefin und das nette Personal sorgen für einen angenehmen Aufenthalt.

Zu angemessenen Preisen bekommt man hier eine sehr gute Küche. Service und Abiente des modern gestalteten freundlich hellen Restaurants sind gut. Die sehr zarten geschmorten Schweinebäckchen, saisongerecht mit Spargel, kann ich empfehlen.

Wer günstig essen will ist hier an der falschen Adresse aber wer mal was ganz besonderes essen möchte der sollte in den Rosengarten gehen. Alles was ich dort bestellt habe war rafiniert zubereitet, kunstvoll angerichtet und ein Genuss im Geschmack.

Myself and a German colleague arrived just before 10 pm and were looking for something to eat. Even though the restaurant was closed they managed to quickly prepare something for us and stayed to serve us.. fantastic service! The room was roomy and comfortable with good WiFi. Breakfast is typical continental style and was very well presented in the modern dining room. Generally, the hotel looks very clean and modern, actually looks it has been recently renovated to a high standard. Would definitely stay again.

Tripadvisor hat nur Bewertungsformular für Restaurant - nicht für Hotel Rosengarten- ich konnte nur das Restaurantformular ausfüllen um Hotel zu bewerten! hoffentlich bemerkt tripadv. das auch!??? Das Hotel ist eher durch sein Restaurant bekannt, das hier nicht bewertet wird. Der Hotelteil umfasst 8 Zimmer im 1. Stock (Aufzug vorhanden!), die einfach, aber zweckdienlich eingerichtet sind – ein gewisser „Pfiff“ wird durch eine zu den braunen Möbeln passende Holzdecke (wahrscheinlich Holzimitat) erreicht. Fenster sind prima schalldicht. Mein Einzelzimmer war groß genug zum Wohlfühlen, Ablagen für die Klamotten aus dem Koffer vorhanden, Bad ansprechend weiß gekachelt. Ich genoss 5 Übernachtungen und die darauf folgenden Frühstücke vom Buffet waren zwar nicht überbordend (auf die Zahl der Übernachtungsgäste ausgerichtet), aber von guter Qualität und für jeden etwas –Frühstücksei auf Anforderung). Ein großes Plus des „Rosengartens“ sind die Mitarbeiter, inklusive der jungen Chefin. Diese brachte mich nach er Ankunft höchstpersönlich vor mein Zimmer, obwohl ich mich bei 8 nebeneinander liegenden Zimmern sicher nicht verirrt hätte. Die beim Frühstück bedienenden Frauen sind überaus freundlich und gut ausgebildet. Große Terrasse auf der Rückseite. Schließlich die Lage: Knapp außerhalb der historischen Kernstadt – zu der berühmten Weilerkapelle geht man 3 Minuten.

Das Essen ist, egal was man nimmt, absolut indiskutabel und deutet auf keine Ausbildung des Koches hin. Die einfachsten Dinge, wie eine Suppe, sind geschmacklich und handwerklich eine Graus. Die Produkte sind auch 2ter Klasse. Der Chef des Hauses ist unfreundlich. Man brauch sich nicht wundern, dass zur Mittagszeit keine Menschen in dem Restaurant zu finden sind. Auch sollte man sich nicht von der schönen und sauberen Inneneinrichtung blenden lassen. Absolut keine Empfehlung.

Nach einer Sightseentour landeten wir hier und waren schon von der Karte beeindruckt. Die servierten Speisen hielten diesem guten Eindruck stand. Die Salate waren ausgesprochen kreativ und wohlschmeckend. Das Steak überrraschend gross und auch gut zubereitet. Gerne wieder. Leider ist die Lage im Industriegebiet den guten Essen nicht entsprechend.

Das Essen war sehr schmackhaft. Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmt. Tolles Ambiente sowohl im Biergarten als auch im Restaurant.
