Food, service and value for money are top!

Four years ago, I was extremely satisfied with the food and service. I went back again today. Highly recommended.

Dear owner of the Gasthof Hirschen, I understand your question: why 3 and not 5 stars yet? 3 out of 5 stars is a positive rating for my first visit; for only one visit so far, 5 stars would be a bit too high. I think it would be a good idea if the wait staff wore traditional costumes; it would certainly be worthy of a restaurant like the Hirschen; as we all know, eating is a feast for the eyes. Yes, a very cozy restaurant with very good food. Everything was excellent! We only ever went there for dinner.

The food tastes very good, but there isn't a large selection. The service was very friendly. There's plenty of seating, including an outdoor area. Parking is a bit off-the-beaten-path as it's located in a traffic-calmed area. We didn't visit the hotel.

The two of us stayed here during our bike tour from the source of the Danube to Ulm. The rooms are clean, quiet, and comfortable. Absolutely excellent value for money; a double room with breakfast costs €89, which you can easily pay per person elsewhere. The location is excellent, about 100 meters from the Danube. Bicycles can be parked in a locked garage. Breakfast is very good, and the hosts are very friendly. We didn't eat in the evening because we arrived late and had already eaten. The inn is highly recommended.

Very simply prepared food, unengaged service. This is a great place to eat if you can't find anything else.

The inn was our stopover on our motorcycle trip to the Alps. The rooms were a bit dated, but perfectly fine. The motorcycles could be parked in the private garage. The à la carte dinner was okay, but the breakfast was a bit lackluster, with limited selection.

The best Swabian food in a long time. Large portions; the platter for two could easily have served three. Friendly service and reasonable prices.

Nice little hotel in the heart of Riedlingen. Good rooms and friendly owners. Breakfast is also very good.

I was there yesterday for the end-of-year celebration with the team from my small company. Highly recommended. Good home-cooked food, large portions, great service at reasonable prices. It's great that something like this still exists. We'll be back.

Friendly bourgeois restaurants in the city. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The food is delicious and the prices for food and drink are great. For example; Schnitzel day with side dish and salad for € 12.90. I'll be back ❤️

The food was very good, despite a very (very) dark spot on the meat or the breading. What's a shame, the burnt food was served turned down on the plate. Something like that leaves a bad aftertaste. It was hoped that the guest wouldn't notice or taste it. ...? Why not ask the guest if this is still okay for him or if he likes a new piece...? Or at least remove the burnt area before serving. Anything better than thinking the guest is stupid and hoping he doesn't notice. 🤨😕 What also stops me from another visit is the smell of frying in the restaurant/dining room. When I come home and still smell like fried food, it's more than just unpleasant for me. 🙄☹️ And again: It tasted good, Unfortunately that's not enough for me in this case.

Delicious food and the price is ok too

Unfortunately one star too many! You have time on vacation, so we were able to accept the longer waiting time. The first meal of Kässpätzle was finally brought to the table. Four regular guests who sat down at the neighboring table 20 minutes later were served their meal. Now a meal was served that we had not ordered. Another 10 minutes later the onion roast was served. Unfortunately the roast was lukewarm. According to the waiter's explanation, there was no word of apology when paying. It's a shame for tourists when locals are given preferential treatment. Once and quickly forgotten.

Nice little town with good restaurants and shopping! Today we had lunch at Hirschen for the first time, very friendly staff, that has to be mentioned here! Short waiting times, Food excellent! 5.9.24 My wife and I had lunch at the Gasthof Hirsch and we have to say clearly that it wasn't the last time. I ordered Jägerschnitzel, it was tender and juicy, the mushroom sauce was creamy and spicy, and the spaetzle was homemade and salad. Lunch was plentiful and really delicious. The service was friendly and attentive, and the ambience was cozy and inviting. Me and my wife felt very comfortable at the Gasthof Hirsch, can recommend it to anyone who wants to enjoy authentic Swabian cuisine. It is a real insider tip in Riedlingen! 😋

Solid, perfectly fine for an overnight stay on a bike tour. Maybe the dishes at dinner were a bit too classic, but it was very good. Payment only with German Girocard (or whatever it's called).

First of all, the prices at Hirsch are really more than fair. I was there as a guest for a single room and also for dinner. Unfortunately, the single room was located in such a way that it noticeably smelled of the kitchen. The cleanliness could also have been better. The facility was okay for the price. Dinner was also okay. Also for the price. Unfortunately it wasn't a highlight. On a positive note, it must be mentioned that the staff tried to accommodate me when there were grievances. The location in the middle of the old town was also great.

Were in transit for dinner. It was fantastic. Schnitzel with spaetzle and salad sensational. It's definitely worth trying. Prices very moderate!! It's a shame we live too far away. Absolutely great and very nice hosts!!!

We were a group bowling Everything went great for three days there (food, room and service) The food was delicious and there was also homemade spaetzle. The staff was super friendly and talked to the guests Is recommended but it would have been even nicer if the weather had been right so we could go cycling not necessarily possible

Cozy inn with friendly innkeepers. Everything is freshly cooked and it tastes very tasty. At the big fools' meeting there were a lot of fools in the bar and having a great party with their own music. Everyone was in a great mood!! Guests from Sigmaringen, Hechingen, Aulendorf and a few other places/guilds. It was really fun.

My cordon bleu was an absolute disgrace, inedible, I ordered it with spaetzle and sauce. I only got spaetzle until my cordon bleu was there. The spaetzle was already cold and I never got the sauce, but I was super hungry when I started eating Unfortunately, I realized that I couldn't possibly eat that. A short time later my stomach started to turn and now I still have stomach cramps, thank you very much for that PS the salad and the cola were very tasty, so two stars, one for the cola and one for the salad
