So first of all: the location is simply wonderful, beautiful! Super stylish and tastefully decorated. The young lady, who is there extremely often and has long, dark hair and sometimes likes to wear braids, is an absolute asset to the store! Highly professional, friendly, calm, service-oriented and absolutely reliable. Unfortunately, we have already had two ladies in service who, in our opinion, weren't really nice and couldn't handle stress. But since we usually have the girl in question as our waitress, we are completely satisfied. We love Egg Benedict for breakfast! Never eaten better! Extremely tasty and sometimes a little unusual. The portion is nice and big. The only drawback is that the poached egg is sometimes not cooked to the right degree of doneness and is often far too cooked. But we can live with that too. The other breakfast compositions are also very tasty, the rolls are finally NOT the cheapest product out of the bag like in many other restaurants. However, they taste fresh and crunchy. The croissants and pastel de nata are insanely good! You definitely have to try them! The cold cuts also taste good, even if there is a bit too little. You would have to readjust it a bit. The vegetables that come with it could be a little crunchier. The tomatoes and cucumbers were already very soft last time. The coffee tastes very tasty, although the cocoa tastes a bit watery to us. We've been there once for lunch so far and it was very mixed. The burger was excellent, but we didn't like the pasta dish at all. We personally thought that was really bad. Overall, we love the store!

Wow, what an atmosphere. I am overwhelmed by the loving decor of this restaurant. Regarding the food, in my opinion the burger is rather "average" but that's my personal assessment (I had so many burgers that were too good, maybe a little too spoiled 😂) But the dessert was absolutely amazing. Delicious! The cocktails are perfect, in my case called Bourbon Sour or Whiskey Sour. Great mix! Service was top and you felt comfortable at all times! Thanks to the team! If I ever find myself in Essen again, I would love to visit this restaurant again!

Nicely equipped and clean restaurant. The service is courteous and friendly. Unfortunately, the food/breakfast is nothing special and of mediocre quality. In my opinion, far too expensive for that.

The daiquiri was very tasty but a fries for €6 with two dips. I actually think the price is okay, but not when you only get 9 pieces of fries. The portion was so ridiculously small, I've never seen that before 😂two dips and not even one was half empty. Then why are there two dips for 9 fries?

The restaurant is beautifully located centrally in the city center. From the terrace you have a great view of the square at the cathedral. The ambience inside is also appealing. The service is courteous and friendly. The salad we ordered was tasty in the bowl with the dressing and was sufficient for lunch instead of a meat dish. However, the olives should preferably be without stones, so that eating them is more aesthetic. ;-) Still a good night out tip for Essen City.

The coffee and the ambience were great! Unfortunately, our waitress and the waitress who collected our money were very unfriendly. Therefore we felt very uncomfortable and will not visit this cafe again in the future. A pity!!

I think the atmosphere here is wonderful, the staff are very accommodating and friendly. My salmon burger was very tasty and something different thanks to the Rostis. Mousse au chocolate is highly recommended, my girlfriend raved about the homemade sorbet. It's best to reserve in advance, otherwise it will be difficult to get a table.

I was there for dinner with my girlfriend today, very unfriendly staff. I ordered a p**star martini, but it wasn't a p**star martini. Price-performance ratio is not the same. The chicken in my dish was not freshly prepared. It was ready chicken out of the bag. And I had a fly in my food. It was definitely our last visit there.

The restaurant "Rosemarie Garten & Bar" impresses with very high-quality food and drinks, which make every visit a culinary highlight. The cozy atmosphere invites you to linger and offers the perfect setting for a first-class breakfast. Despite the often very full occupancy, you will find a quiet, hidden location here that gives the restaurant a special charm. My personal favorite is the Purple Cloud Iced Tea with Lavender and Lime – a refreshing and unique drink that you should definitely try. Highly Recommended!

It was my first time there and I think the atmosphere is wonderful. The service was very nice and accommodating. We ordered Aperol Spritz, the glass on the right was as “full” as the one on the left and it cost €7.80 - really a disgrace. Then the bowl, for €17.90 just greens with some beetroot and cauliflower, also really cheeky. Nice to sit on, but nothing more.

Yesterday we had dinner with a larger group. At the beginning everything went well. The food was very tasty. (Chili beef burger + mouse au chocolate) After dinner we wanted to have something to drink. After waiting 45 minutes for the drinks, which still weren't in sight, we canceled the drinks and went to another place in the city center. Instead of a, we're sorry, there was nothing but a goodbye.

The ambience is incredibly beautiful. There are cozy couches, wing chairs, swings, artificial greenery and mood lighting. However, the taste of the food is not very impressive, but the drinks are great. The service is mixed. Here you can easily wait over an hour for your food or 30 minutes until someone comes to take your order. In summer you can sit outside on the terrace.

Service is very friendly. The food is fantastic, varied and very tasty. The atmosphere is hip, but still relaxed and cozy, regardless of the size of the establishment. You don't have to make a reservation, but it's recommended as a group for the evening. Always worth a visit!

Disgraceful. The simple breakfast order took over an hour to arrive. They served us vegetarian dishes which were contaminated with ham. Seems like they were understaffed. No offer of a discount considering we couldn’t even eat the food which was late and not prepared correctly. Would not recommend to my worst enemy.

It's not just the eye that eats, but also the heart. Everything is served with loving attention to detail. Incredibly delicious. And even under full stress, always warm and friendly service. And the rooms are an experience. It's worth taking time to walk through the rooms in peace and take in the effects. This was a pampering event. We'll definitely be back.

We were traveling to Essen for work. In the evening we went to the pedestrian zone to do some shopping. There we discovered the - somewhat hidden - great café/restaurant/bar with a great ambience both outside and inside (really great!). The food was incredibly delicious! What was particularly noteworthy was the extremely excellent service from all employees. We recommended the chilli burger and the pulled salmon burger. In addition, Grandma's pancakes are very tasty.👍🏻 All in all, highly recommended.

The service is super friendly and fast, the employees enjoy their job and one employee rhythmically adjusted his movements during a stressful day with lots of coffee orders the music and it's contagious! At the same time you can see our temple from the town hall and the Essen synagogue. Latte Machiatto and the Spring Time Valley were fantastic and I was served by an absolutely lovely waitress with blue eyes. I like people's eyes, they are a gateway to our soul and almost like black holes.

I've eaten here several times and am impressed every time. I can particularly recommend the burgers, especially the one with salmon and sweet potato rosti, as well as the falafel bowl. The service is very courteous and quick. The prices are reasonable. I like to sit on the terrace and enjoy the view of the cathedral.

Modern restaurant in downtown Essen. The menu at Rosemarie is very clear. I was impressed by the variety of dishes - especially the large selection of vegetarian and vegan dishes. The team was very friendly and my food was on the table quickly. The vegan schnitzel tasted very good. The portion was big enough. The prices are within reason. Paying is easy by credit card.

I love this store morning, noon and night. So lovingly designed, cozy and always friendly staff. My absolute favorite location. At Easter I noticed for the first time that the table decorations/vases were dirty (dust with grease) and the cards also needed to be wiped off. Otherwise always great and extremely accommodating, even when making changes.

Very nice restaurant, incredibly charming and friendly service from Insa - big compliment. The food was good, but shouldn't have been more expensive - especially since the Asian bowl had very little content and would have been a good starter. Still 5 stars because of the other positive aspects.

After arriving we were greeted by the very annoyed and apparently very uninterested shift manager D*****, who personally almost encouraged me to leave. The cocktails are very tasty but relatively expensive. Ambiance is reminiscent of a theater and is really chic.
