Rosemarie used to be a great place to meet friends before a movie or after a stroll around town. The atmosphere and the food were good. Now you have to wait ages to be served, and if the defrosted apple strudel is still ice-cold inside or you get the wrong thing, the whole experience is ruined. Rosemarie is now part of a chain of equally bad restaurants, and I'm just as dissatisfied with it now.

The lunch menu was very good and delicious. The portions were a bit small, and spaghetti was served instead of tagliatelle. Great atmosphere and lovely decorations, but it got a bit noisy after a while.

The pictures of the restaurant convinced me when I booked. And it looks exactly the same in person. The service was fantastic; both the person who took our order and the staff who brought the food and drinks were very nice and friendly, so we felt very comfortable at all times. The food was excellent; I've never had such a great vegetarian burger. If I hadn't been so full, I would have definitely had another one.

We went there twice. The first time, we only had coffee and the homemade lemonade – both delicious! We also really liked the friendly service and the lovely tableware. So we went back in the evening… and: it was delicious again! Sweet potato fries served in pretty little boxes, I had rösti with avocado, amazing. My husband had a very tasty burger. And once again, a very attentive young man served us; everything was quick and friendly. In short: highly recommended!

We were there for breakfast on a Friday shortly before noon. The menu is a bit ambiguous: the bound section states that breakfast is only served until noon on weekdays, while the insert says "All day long." The noon cutoff is correct. However, we still managed to get something. The food was good quality, and the service was quick and friendly. We sat outside on the terrace. Everything was great so far. Only one thing surprised me: the size of my mango oats. I had expected a breakfast-sized portion of oats, not a dessert-sized one. Now, my wife's granola also cost 50 percent more, okay. The cost of ingredients seems significantly higher. (See comparison photo) For the next printing of the menu, I suggest adding a note about portion sizes. Overall, though, a nice place.

The Mexican burger had nothing Mexican about it except the dry nachos and the dry Chiken that was just a big piece of chiken without no marinate. The sauces where 9/10 and the sweet fries where 10/10 that’s why I give 2 stars not 1

We were there for breakfast. Highly recommended! They also have very good vegan options.

We come here once or twice every year. But this year was really disappointing. The prosecco they serve comes from a barrel. It was completely flat and lukewarm. The waitress very kindly exchanged it. But the second one was just as bad... the food was also disappointing. The salmon was very dry. It is a nice place to sit, though; a pleasant terrace. I don't think we will be coming back next year.

I stumbled upon this place while studying. I'm absolutely thrilled. Great restaurant, friendly staff, delicious food, and a fantastic atmosphere. It was my first time here, but definitely not my last! 😁 Edit: Unfortunately, the food quality has declined in recent weeks, and the price increase for Roses mineral water from just under €8 to over €13 is unacceptable... Service and ambiance remain absolutely top-notch!

The atmosphere was great, and when it first opened, we were frequent customers. Back then, I would have given it more stars, but unfortunately, it's become very run-down. The ambiance is still nice, but now for the criticism: The service is very friendly but unfortunately overwhelmed or disorganized. Orders are handled quickly at first, but after that, you have to search for service. Particularly disgusting is a man behind the bar wearing suspenders who drools into our drinks while leering at us. The food has steadily declined in quality; the fries are just about acceptable. After many visits, we will not be returning.

The service was very friendly and attentive. The atmosphere was lovely. Despite the cold temperatures, we enjoyed sitting outside with blankets.

Super cozy. Almost better inside than outside. Prices are relatively reasonable. Excellent quality. Very clean restrooms are available, but unfortunately not wheelchair accessible. The ambiance is lovely, even upstairs. There are a few steps at the entrance, but it's not impossible with a wheelchair or stroller. The restrooms are located down a long flight of stairs, making them practically impossible to access with a wheelchair. Card payment is accepted, of course. There's also an upstairs area inside, but we didn't use it. They offer everything from soups and cakes to schnitzel.

We were turned away because my female companion was wearing a jersey of the local club RWE. Absolutely unacceptable.

Unfortunately, a huge disappointment. The cocktail was 90% foam and almost no substance – but lots of garnish with a piece of pineapple. Absolutely unacceptable for the price. I won't be coming back.

Great restaurant, good food, friendly service. It's becoming one of my favorites! Reservations are easy to make online, which I appreciate. The terrace is a real favorite when the weather is nice. It's very cozy and inviting. The restroom is accessible via stairs, so it's not wheelchair accessible. However, one feature I really appreciate is the double toilet. Mother and child can use the same stall at the same time (one stall is lower). There wasn't a single thing I didn't like about this restaurant!

We felt very comfortable. The staff was attentive and friendly, and the food was also very well prepared and absolutely delicious. Even the pasta had different vegetables, each one cooked to perfection. Excellent. And all of this was incredibly affordable. I've paid significantly more for much less. We'll definitely be back.

We ate there with a large group. A lot of the food was cold. I ordered grilled salmon with sweet potato rösti and roasted vegetables. The roasted vegetables had barely seen the oven, as it was raw broccoli, bell peppers, and mushrooms. The salmon was like cold, freshly cooked salmon. I have no idea when it had even been on the grill.

So, what can I say?! First of all, I have to say that I was a little disappointed at first. We had a reservation and were seated at a very small table in a tiny corner by the window. The problem was that we couldn't stretch our legs, and the table seemed a bit cramped for the plates and drinks. I had imagined something different. The food itself was really good and perfectly reasonable in terms of value for money. The dessert, chocolate mousse, was amazing 🔨. Highly recommended. The service... started off very poorly. The woman who showed us to our table was also initially responsible for the service. It took a long time before we could order drinks. When we received our food, it again took too long for me to place our next drink order. However, another colleague then took over. From then on, the service was really good. A solid four stars. One star deducted for the uncomfortable table and the initially slow service.

I've been there three times now, and no one has ever come to ask if I want anything else. Having to constantly check on me and intercept someone is incredibly annoying.

We were there for our company Christmas party...it was okay. The food wasn't great. The staff seemed overwhelmed and annoyed. I wouldn't really recommend it.

There were four of us there yesterday. All in all, everything was great. Friendly service, lovely atmosphere. It was actually a bit too loud for my taste, but still quite nice. The portions were rather small and quite expensive for what they were. But I still really enjoyed the evening! :) I'll definitely come back again.

Beautiful place. The waitress was incredibly nice and efficient, even though it was quite busy. We accidentally spilled something, and she reacted very calmly and was incredibly friendly. The food was good, but "good" isn't quite enough for me at almost €27 for a schnitzel. I was expecting a bit more. There's room for improvement, even though it really wasn't bad. I'll definitely come back and try something else. I also had a cocktail, which, on the other hand, tasted absolutely fantastic and was of a very high standard.

A very pleasant and modern place to eat; reservations are definitely recommended. The menu is extremely extensive, perhaps even too extensive. The number of starters is actually quite disappointing in comparison. The four burgers we chose (all different) were delicious. However, it says you can choose between different dips for the fries, but we just got the standard mayonnaise and ketchup. We then had dessert, which unfortunately took a very long time to arrive. The apple strudel wasn't warm, even though it was listed on the menu. The waitress didn't spontaneously ask if we wanted another drink when our glasses were empty.

Delicious food and a great outdoor area during the WDR2 Christmas Miracle.

Aside from the fact that the portion of fries was ridiculously small, the men at the entrance were incredibly rude. The server was friendly, but unfortunately gave me cow's milk instead of oat milk. When I noticed this 20 minutes later (since I'm lactose intolerant) and we had just left, I quickly went back and asked to use the restroom. The upshot: I had to find another restaurant to deal with the mess this place made. First they make a mistake, and then they're rude on top of it—I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.

We went there with friends and the food is really good! The prices are mostly fair and reasonable. Charging €2.50 for a tiny scoop of ice cream is quite cheeky, especially since there's an excellent ice cream parlor with Italian ice cream just a few meters away where you can get a large scoop for €1.50. Almost all the staff were friendly.

We've been here twice now, and both times, despite having a reservation, we were given one of the cramped tables by the windows, even though other people without reservations (also two people) were able to choose better seats. The tables simply aren't suitable for a comfortable meal, and when all the menus don't have holders, there's hardly any room left for plates and drinks. The service was better the second time than the first, but the food was worse (for example, the schnitzel now had tendons). We won't be going back.

The location is stylish, and the menu has everything I could wish for. I chose the Mediterranean Bowl, which was fresh and tasty. Only the long wait for the food (45 minutes) resulted in a one-star deduction.

We visited the restaurant for the first time on December 15, 2025. We made a reservation, which is highly recommended on a Saturday during the Christmas market (other free tables were also reserved). Location: Centrally located on Burgplatz, with a view of the cathedral and (during the Christmas market) the Ferris wheel. Atmosphere: We were given a table on the gallery, overlooking the main floor, the bar, and a monitor. The restaurant is cozy and creatively decorated, with flower walls, plants, photos, globes, etc. The restrooms are also stylish, with the one on the ground floor even featuring a surprise for mothers and their children. Service: The service was noticeably overwhelmed. Just one other group of over 30 people required a lot of attention. The drinks arrived promptly, but the food took a bit longer. Smiling was out of the question. Food: The menu (a thick booklet in A4 format) is so extensive that it can be a little overwhelming. There are many breakfast options: burgers, schnitzel, pasta, etc. Less is perhaps more in this case. The menus are a bit of a nuisance on the rather small table while eating, as there's no holder for them. Drinks: again, a wide selection; the highlight was the homemade iced teas for a still reasonable €5.75. I actually went into the restaurant hungry and would have liked to eat something; the menu sounded very tempting. But after 20 minutes without anyone asking me what I wanted to drink or eat, I left. And the only waitress who responded to my wave said she only handled the upstairs area.

I loved the interior! The menu is a bit extra. It makes things confusing. But I understand that it’s their «brand». The food was good. I ordered a pulled salmon burger with sweet potato fries. They were nice and crispy. The strawberry, mint drink I ordered was ok. It was bitter and didn’t really taste a lot of strawberry.

The service was very courteous. Unfortunately, the food didn't live up to our expectations; it tasted very bland. The menu is filled with all sorts of Boomer cringe-y comments, which I found unpleasant. The decor is very "live-laugh-love."
