We had our Christmas party there on December 13th. Excellent service as always, generous portions, and friendly service despite the restaurant being full. They even offered complimentary ouzo, which isn't so common these days. 😁 Thanks and keep up the good work! :)

This was our first time here; we were a group of 14 people. At 5:00 PM, we were practically the only guests, but two hours later the place was packed, with not a single free seat. The service was friendly and very attentive throughout the evening. The ouzo was almost too much to finish, but as I said, the service was excellent. Our drinks arrived promptly, and the drinks menu was interesting, especially since they offered non-alcoholic cocktails. Our food order was also taken quickly, and the appetizers arrived promptly. After we finished the appetizers, the main courses arrived immediately. The food was truly delicious; my meat was juicy and cooked to perfection. Everyone at our table was very satisfied, with no complaints whatsoever. Overall, we had a wonderful evening, thanks in no small part to the friendly staff. We will gladly return.

It was our first time there as a group of four, and we were very surprised! The atmosphere is nice, the food was great, and the prices are good too. Our only minor criticism of the service was that we were pressured to order our main course. We'll definitely be back!

Yesterday, a group of 14 of us went there for dinner. The food was incredibly delicious (kudos to the chef!), the service was very friendly, quick, and attentive, and the atmosphere was lovely. Although the restaurant was quite busy, there were no long waits, the food was piping hot, and they even thought of the little ones. The kids got a small plate of cucumber instead of salad, which I really appreciated. It was perfectly adequate for them. They probably wouldn't have eaten the salad anyway, so they didn't have to watch it being eaten. A brilliant idea! We really enjoy going there and have never had anything to complain about. We love coming to this restaurant. We always receive a warm welcome, even without a reservation. The service is efficient and always friendly. The food (lamb stir-fry, squid, mixed grill, tzatziki, and the homemade chocolate soufflé) is excellent. And to top it all off, if you like, there's ouzo to fill you up. We always enjoy coming back. Keep up the good work!

Great food and very good service

The most important thing for me at a Greek restaurant: I could order the dish without garlic! Great appetizer platter (hot), friendly staff, would gladly come again.

We've been here for dinner several times; the waiters are polite and know their job, they come to the table regularly to ask if everything is alright, they also refill the ouzo generously, the food is tasty and the portions are plentiful, we'll gladly come again.

My first time here was pleasantly surprised. Everyone was friendly, attentive, and quick. The food was also very tasty, with not too much, not too little. I'd happily return again; it's definitely worth the visit.

Five of us ordered there. The order was placed over the phone and without any problems. We were all very satisfied and will definitely be back. The grilled pepperoni was very good.

The food was very good. Unfortunately, we had to wait 20 minutes to order, even though there were only six tables occupied. We wanted a scoop of ice cream for our children, which cost €3.50. They added whipped cream even though we didn't want it. When I paid, the waiter apparently didn't speak German well, so I asked him to give me €30 back, but I only got €25, and I had to explain it again.

We waited two hours for our food today. It's been better.

Lovingly designed interior. Excellent parking. Very clean and well-maintained. Friendly staff. Everything is on the ground floor, suitable for people with limited mobility. The first floor also offers pleasant seating. There's also an outdoor area. Smoke-free. The food was cooked to perfection. Beautifully presented. Very tasty. I highly recommend it. The price/performance ratio is fair and very reasonable. Keep it up.

First, the good news: the food was wonderful and the staff was very friendly. Despite their efforts to serve all customers quickly and reliably, we still waited 45 minutes for our food after ordering. This shouldn't happen, even when the restaurant is full. Nevertheless, the atmosphere was pleasant.

I was skeptical about the reviews like how could a small town restaurant have this many positive reviews? Ladies and gentlemen I can confirm this place is worth every penny spent! The service is spectacular the guys were so welcoming and friendly. They welcome you with on the house drinks, they are smiling and making sure you’re comfortable and enjoying the atmosphere, if you have kids, not a problem they have high chair which they will provide. They even brought colouring pencils for my child so he can have a little fun while we eat. Whatever I say will not justify the experience. Meals range between 20-30 euros at most We ordered seafood and Lam chops which was epic❤️ they are generous and well presented. Again worth every penny. If there were more than 5 starts they would certainly get it.

The food was okay. Although the pork fillet in Metaxa sauce was dry goulash cubes. There were no small sauces like you'd normally expect... (garlic, chili). The portion was okay, but rather small for a Greek restaurant. Service was excellent. The restrooms were also very good. We would always choose a different restaurant. Unfortunately, we wouldn't recommend it. But we wouldn't advise against it either.

We got to know this nice little Greek restaurant in the south of the city of Dessau (Kabelweg) through friends. From the menu, according to the menu, to the service, nothing is left to be desired. I chose the surprise plate. What a variety of different meats and side dishes. I couldn't finish the plate. The result was a well-packaged home office package. Ultimately, I can only warmly recommend this restaurant after it opened about a year ago. I'll come back anytime 😊

We went to this restaurant today for a birthday dinner. Is recommended absolutely without reservation. We really ate very well here and enjoyed great service. Really nice staff and delicious cuisine. The prices are fair for what you get on your plate here. We'll definitely be back!

We went there as mother, father and child (12) and were thrilled. Nice welcome, great service, good food. The son's special requests (pasta with salmon and extra croquettes) were met with a smile.

It was our first time at the restaurant and we probably had a bad service day, it was Valentine's Day. The drinks and food we ordered arrived at our table via a detour. We couldn't complain about the taste and the ambience was good too. At some point we will come back again.

Delicious food. Pasta dishes could use a little more salt and spices, the grilled peppers were so spicy that we unfortunately couldn't eat them. All in all, very tasty food at very good prices.

Very nice service, the food was very good for my taste it could have been a little spicier but basically very good portions and worth the money. On the upper floor the ambience can be improved somewhat, the light is too bright. The room could be darkened and candlelight could create a cozy atmosphere. I wish the operators much success. The Illyrian in Dessau is an absolute must for all Greece lovers! The cuisine is simply outstanding - no other Greek restaurant in Dessau can compete with the Illyrian in terms of taste. It really tastes so delicious here that you immediately feel like you've been transported to Greece. Best of all, the prices are amazingly affordable, so you can enjoy great food at an unbeatable price. The service is extremely friendly and attentive. As a guest you feel completely comfortable and receive a warm welcome. The ambience also leaves nothing to be desired: both the indoor and outdoor areas are tastefully and comfortably designed, so that you immediately feel at home. For real Greece fans there is only one top address in Dessau: The Illyrian! Absolutely recommended!

This was our first time at Illyrian and we had dinner. Since we sat outside and it was nice and warm, we liked the atmosphere. The service was excellent, we asked several times if everything was OK. The ouzo came to the table in a carafe, and more was available upon request. The starters came relatively quickly and were very tasty. The main courses were also large portions and tasted very good. The four of us paid €105 with a tip, so we would eat there again any time.

From the start you are warmly welcomed and you immediately feel at home. Every little extra wish is fulfilled and in a very friendly manner. We have been there quite often now and it is always a successful evening. We remain loyal guests here.

Wonderful place to eat and relax with all the family. Tried other Greek restaurants around the area but this one is the best of them all. Great food, wonderful atmosphere and most of all the staff are friendly and they greet you with a smile on their face. Strongly recommend. A very tastefully decorated restaurant, both inside and outside. Everything was very clean, including the toilets. The staff were cheerful and attentive without being intrusive. The food was great! Very tasty, beautifully presented, large portions. Even the grilled salmon fillet salad I ordered was a premium salad at a reasonable price. The children's dishes were also to their complete satisfaction. We'll definitely come back next time we're in the area.

Illyrian very great restaurant with super friendly service. The food was top and very tasty. Unfortunately, the recessions don't all seem to belong to this restaurant. What should be changed. It is really highly recommended and worth every visit. We will come back in any case.
