The food isn't always perfect. And when ordering by phone, you have to be very insistent about repeating your requests for sauce or other ingredients. Otherwise, it's just a run-of-the-mill meal, with neither sauce nor seasoning, nor crispy... Unfortunately, this is happening more and more often.

Chanterelle plate and everything else was great today

Roma was and is a small, comfortably furnished Italian restaurant with a beautiful, large terrace in Berlin-Heiligensee. It was extensively restored a few years ago, which is visually reflected, yet the restaurant's layout hasn't changed. It's still exactly the same layout as it was 35 years ago. That's why it gets one star 🌟! I can't comment on the restrooms, as I didn't use them, but maybe I can do that later 😉 My companion had reserved the table a few days earlier for the early evening. For a reservation, I expect a tidy and clean table, which unfortunately wasn't the case here; the tablecloth was covered in several fresh and old stains 🫣 Furthermore, it gets a second star 🌟 for the friendly service, even though the waiter had initially brought me a completely different dish than I had ordered...he promptly corrected it and apologized for having misunderstood it. In retrospect, I was annoyed that I hadn't ordered the first (wrong) dish, a seafood salad, which was very appealing with lots of shrimp. You see what I'm getting at...my companion and I ended up with an upset stomach due to the dishes we chose. Therefore, the food there doesn't get a star! My companion had spaghetti with pesto, which was practically drowning in oil. I ordered calamari fritti, which I was extremely hungry for. Unfortunately, it was more "fritti" than "calamari"! Nevertheless, we ate almost everything...not a good decision, as we only found out later. A short while later, when the restaurant filled up, we were practically forgotten...it took ages to clear the table, and they didn't even ask if we wanted something else to drink, as our glasses had been empty for some time. When I went to pay, my companion had to borrow cash, which I didn't have with me because I wanted to pay with my debit card. But that wasn't possible, because you can only pay by card for amounts over €30! The waiter then pointed us to a sign on the entrance door, which neither of us had noticed upon entering.

Delicious food, delicious cocktails. Pleasant atmosphere, friendly staff. Unfortunately, the manager was ill. I wish him a speedy recovery.

Update to the last review: I was just back today. What can I say, the food was really good 👍🏼 the service from the nice and fast lady was great and personable. There were three of us there and all three of us were very happy :) Cozy Italian restaurant with very friendly staff and surprisingly good wines. There's nothing on the menu that wasn't really good when we ordered it. Both in quality and quantity. Recommendation 🌟

Really a great Italian restaurant. Cozy interior, friendly service, value for money completely reasonable. Was now eating there for the second time and would love to come back. BUT there is poor to no cell phone reception indoors, so if you are there on business or expecting an important call, you should keep that in mind.

Very tasty, only the newest waiter wasn't the fastest, reminders were needed. This time we waited over 45 minutes for the main course. Drinks that were ordered only came when asked.

Die Bedienung ist freundlich ABER die Speisen sind mit Sicherheit Fertigprodukte. Der Teig der Pizza war wie bei einer Tiefkühlpizza, der panierte Fisch war auch nicht frisch zubereitet. Sorry, für solche Produkte muss ich nicht ins Restaurant. Die Bewertungen hier, kann ich überhaupt nicht nachvollziehen. Ach ja, ein Teller war am Rand kaputt, so ein Geschirr gehört entsorgt. Mein Hinweis darauf hat die Bedienung aber nicht besonders interessiert, war ihr mit Sicherheit schon bekannt!

I had a late craving for a tuna salad. It was fresh, tasty and crunchy. Exactly what I wanted.

Not really Italian, but very friendly staff. That's rare too. However: The pizza sauce on the pizza was unfortunately too garlic-heavy and didn't go well with the salami (which wasn't Italian either) and mozzarella. This doesn't happen to "real" Italian pizza makers. But the demands of German "eaters" have fallen so much and are no longer really differentiated, the main thing is that they are "cheap". Unfortunately, there are hardly any Italians or Italian chefs or pizza makers anymore. But the restaurant is definitely fine as a snack bar.👍

Well, actually I would like to give more stars. I've known the restaurant for a while and it was nice to eat here once or twice. Basically, if the owner is there, it is more than recommended. But this time I got to experience it without the owner being there. After 30 minutes I was asked if I even had a card. I said no. Then the question came as to whether I already knew what I liked to drink. I replied: "Thanks, I got the beer from the bar myself." I looked at the menu and decided on the Pizza Parma. When the waitress came, I ordered what I wanted and he said no, saying: "Pizza Parma is not available today. There is no more Parma." It's just after 8 p.m. - how's that going? He didn't even look me in the eyes. So I ordered the Diavolo. How does it taste? I don't know, just waiting. Update coming this evening. So far, very, very well-intentioned 3 stars. Probably because of previous experiences. A pity

We were there on schnitzel day. Great price ratio and good schnitzels. We were served very nicely...always again and again.

We were in the Roma restaurant today and felt very comfortable. We were able to choose a table outside. The food (plaice on offer) was very good, as was the carpaccio and the pasta dish. The friendly waitress also left a bowl of water for our dog. We are satisfied and keep coming back. Thanks.

A great restaurant, we eat there often. The waiters there are super friendly and always in a good mood. The food is great, we've never had a bad meal there. The prices are great, all in all a great restaurant.

We were presented with the bill without asking. We could have been told differently that we should clear the table. The restaurant was neither full nor was our table reserved. Pizza was good, you can't say anything bad about it. But for the reasons mentioned, we wouldn't eat there again. We found this to be very rude.

All dishes are very tasty and attractively prepared. The price/performance ratio is more than excellent and it is worth mentioning that the boss himself is also in the kitchen and greets and serves his guests regularly and in a very friendly manner. I visit the restaurant at least once a week...it's great!

Unfortunately not Italian. But Arabs. Lasagna way too greasy. Tiramisu wasn't real tiramisu. Everything just used cheap food. 30 years ago it tasted delicious with the previous Italian owner. Never go there again.

So I think the food is so bad, starting with the pizza dough, no taste at all in the dough. Then we had a mixed salad with sheep's cheese, everything had no taste at all, the salad was totally watery, the sheep's cheese had such a bad taste. All in all, I personally wouldn't recommend the restaurant. There are better ones nearby that are only a few minutes away.

We tried all the Italian restaurants in Heiligensee. Roma has become our regular Italian restaurant.

The menus were good, the service attentive. The price-performance ratio is very good. The trout was excellent, the beef steak good.

The food is really very tasty and is rounded off by friendly service. As a guest you receive free bruschetta as a greeting from the kitchen, something you no longer see everywhere. Also worth mentioning is the nice atmosphere in the restaurant, which invites you to linger!

Cozy restaurant in Berlin Heiligensee with good cuisine and nice service. Always a pleasure to come here and in addition to pizza and pasta, the regular specials on the menu are also worth it. Today I decided on freshly fried calamari, but the game goulash is also recommended...

Restaurant besteht seit vielen Jahren. Leckeres Essen, schnelle Bedienung. Kann sehr den Dienstag empfehlen, dann gibt es viele Speisen für nur 7 Euro. Es gibt sogar König Ludwig Helles. Wir haben für 5 Erwachsene und ein Kind 82 Euro bezahlt. Wir hatten jeder jeweils eine Mahlzeit und ein Getränk und waren alle satt.

Tisch reserviert und nichts war vorbereitet. Der Kellner hat sich nur sporadisch blicken lassen. Schlechter Service. Es gibt ja Gott sei Dank genug Andere Italiener in Heiligensee. Müsst ihr wissen!

The pizza was high quality - delicious for sure. We ordered in advance but when I arrived to pick up the food I had to wait 30 more minutes. After a while I got nervous, took a look into the kitchen and saw that the pizzas were already sitting on the counter… properly for several minutes because there were cold. Admittedly, the waiter was very rude. “I’ll let you know when it’s ready!” he said, then I showed him the stack… no words, no apology. Furthermore there was a pizza in the stack that I didn’t order. Instead of veggie I got a spinach with salmon 🤔 Maybe it was a wicked day there, but I have to substract a star ⭐️ for all that

Super Service . Tolles Ambiente . Man kann sogar mit dem Schiff anlegen wenn man vorher einen Platz reserviert . Vorspeise : Carpaccio und der Fischteller sehr zu Empfehlen .

Muffliger ober überfordert. Alles dauert ewig lange. Große vorbestellte Geburtstags Tafel nicht vorbereitet. Zum Schluss: kein Amaretto im Haus. Nie wieder. Parkplatzsituation katastrophe !

Essen war super nur das bezahlen ging etwas schief

Ich war vor 4-5 Monaten schon mal hier und muss sagen, dass es für die Preise echt gut war. Die Preise wurden jetzt zwar schon deutlich (meist um 2€) erhöht, allerdings ist für mich die Qualität auch deutlich besser geworden, es hat uns sehr gut geschmeckt und ist im Vergleich immer noch günstiger als 90% der anderen Italiener in Berlin.
