We ordered a food truck for an 18th birthday party on Saturday, November 22, 2025. The food was fantastic; the currywurst and fries were a huge hit. The chicken drumsticks and crispy chicken were also absolutely delicious. There was more than enough salad and various other items. The service team was incredibly friendly and professional. Food Location: Töpferstrasse, REWE Parking Lot We wanted to take dinner there on the afternoon of October 20, 2025. Unfortunately, we weren't served. We were rudely informed that the woman was on her break and asked if we could read the sign. She didn't even bother to look up at us as she sat smoking on the steps of the chicken cart. It was an older woman with gray hair. We then picked up our chicken from the hot counter at REWE.

Krefeld location, Hafelsstr. This is a disgrace! I ordered two half chickens from the grill cart today. I was then offered two half XL chickens for €14.60, which I accepted. When I got home, it was a total disappointment! This chicken had probably been turning on the spit for days. It was absolutely inedible (see photos)! It went straight into the trash! How can you offer something like that? Absolutely not recommended!!!

I've been to Rewe in Mülheim Saarn several times. It's delicious, and above all, the best employee (Selda) is super nice, competent, and friendly! Mondays* are definitely my regular grill :) Edit: *Mondays and Thursdays

Wattenscheid Kaufland Ottostr. location. So far, except for one occasion, I've always had good chicken or ham hocks. I usually come by in the evening after work, and unfortunately, I only get thighs every other time, but when they're gone, they're gone. UPDATE AUGUST 2025 Unfortunately, the chickens have declined. They used to be nice and juicy, but now, unfortunately, they're very dry.

Before the Gojira concert in Oberhausen, we were incredibly hungry. We then discovered Roland's Grilled Chicken nearby. It was already closing time, but we simply asked if they could serve us anything else. Iris and Uwe welcomed us warmly anyway, as if we were old friends. The food was amazing. Juicy, fresh chicken, really well seasoned, and a fair price. Exactly what we needed before a concert. Such warmth and hospitality are rare these days. Many thanks to Iris and Uwe. Roland's Grilled Chicken location in Bocholt near Kaufland. Maybe they should work on their staff and hire polite employees, otherwise they'll definitely lose customers. The way they talk to customers is a disgrace. I will definitely not buy chicken there again.

I bought a chicken leg from a cart in Essen on Aktienstraße. Unfortunately, it was a complete waste of time. €3.50 is very expensive, and the bones are already falling apart. This shows that it was probably a cheap purchase. And the meat is also quite dry in many places. It's a shame, I've always enjoyed Roland GrillWagen.

The icing on the cake was the saleswoman's initially indifferent, then later unwilling/aggressive reaction, which culminated in her statement that I could complain to headquarters; the phone number is on the bag. Conclusion: The quality of the food has declined significantly. However, the prices have increased significantly. What's on offer is not (or no longer) worth the money being asked.

Well, I find the grilled chicken incredibly delicious. There was nothing raw about my chicken. It was exactly as it should be. Juicy on the inside, crispy on the outside. I would definitely get another one! Of course, the prices have skyrocketed, but what can I say? Doner kebab €8.50 Each 1/2 grilled chicken now costs €5.50-€6.50, and I think that's fine. I have a bad feeling about a €3.00 chicken, but that's a different story. The employee who works in Mülheim on Düsseldorferstrasse is always friendly and courteous, and you enjoy coming to her stand 🫶🏼 Please, more employees like her!

5 stars for the Voerde/Star Gas Station location. We've been going there almost weekly for a long time, and the man is not only incredibly nice, but also always manages to make the food perfectly. Fries and chicken are really great :) High praise to the man at this location

However, I wouldn't want to offer dry, tasteless chicken to a child either. And then charge 5.20 euros for it. Incredible. It's called usury. I'll soon be buying chicken legs from the hot counter at my local supermarket. They cost just 1.90 euros, are larger than the would-be half chicken, well seasoned and juicy. Do yourself, your wallet and your stomach a favor and do it yourself. It's a joke. The last time I was at Roland's grilled chicken.

The knuckle was a real highlight! Crispy crust, perfectly fried – just the way we know and love it from Bavaria. Two women worked in the wagon - mother and daughter. The service was terrible. The women began to swear and scream. They didn't want to give out the order and said it was already too late even though there was still time and the chicken was just fried. Please teach employees basic rules of conduct.

Far too expensive considering the quality

The grilled chicken is great but the service is subpar!!! Food that is offered on a permanent basis is often not available at all or is often sold out 3 hours before closing time! Whether you get one of the dishes on offer is always a game of chance! Even after regular complaints there was no improvement! It also happened that the barbecue trolley simply wasn't there on the day of the appointment without notice... Apologies or compensation for the disappointed customer (who made the journey in vain in bad weather) the next time he went shopping... None! Unfortunately there are no alternatives nearby otherwise I wouldn't even try the juice shop!

Bought half a rooster and spare ribs in Bocholt. Rooster was okay but the spareribs were more bone and fat than meat. They don't even get 1 star. Then just don't sell spare ribs. Currywurst and bratwurst are worth 5 stars

Today we were in Bocholt near Kaufland. We bought chicken breast sandwiches. These were inedible. The sandwiches fell apart in your hands and the chicken fillet had been in the deep fryer several times, making it so hard that you could smash your plate with it. WE WILL NEVER BUY CHICKEN HERE AGAIN!

Kaufland Duisburg kaßlerfeld No chicken cutlets. 2x crusty roast in a bun. Roast without a crust, cut very thinly and it tastes like smoked pork. Without sauce to take away there is no real fulfillment.

After reading most of the clerks here, I realized that 90% should buy a Duden instead of chicken or something else!!!!

At the Kaufland Abo-Wattenscheid, I stand in front of the car and wait for it to open. Today I was in Bochum Wattenscheid at Kaufland. Even though it was only 10:30 a.m. I was still hungry. A very friendly saleswoman explained to me that it would take a few minutes because the delicious chicken wasn't fully cooked yet. So I waited another 5-10 minutes and chatted with the cheerful and friendly saleswoman. The result was a delicious and well-fried half chicken, with which the nice saleswoman recommended coleslaw. All in all 5 stars from me especially for the nice service! It is rare to find such a service these days. I'll be back!

Today on May 6th, 2024 I bought 5 half chickens at Markant parking lot on Einbleckstrasse in Oberhausen. I have to say it was a disappointment. They were very red inside and weren't cooked through even though I often buy from Roland. Today it was pure disappointment. I hope someone will take care of it .

I wanted to test this first so that I could bring fries for the whole family next time. I was surprised how you can have such a bad mood when dealing with customers, and I won't go there again with friends either. So strict, so dissatisfied and condescending, not relaxed at all (location in Bocholt in front of Kaufland regarding the saleswoman with the short hair and the many tattoos on her arms). The customer in front of me was "handled" quite coolly. “Good,” I thought to myself, “I didn’t notice everything from the start.” So do I. Vorm Kaufland is actually a top location for such a snack bar, but in my opinion the lady ensures that many people don't come back or only come back to a limited extent. Every Friday I pick things up from the cart next to the supermarket (teuteburgerstr.), the young lady who stands there is always nice and polite and responds to all requests. The food always tastes good.

Das Essen war qualitativ sehr gut, gut daß noch eine extra Pommes dabei war. Mein Tipp für zukünftige Gastgeber: Vegetarische/Vegane Ergänzungen vorsehen (sonst essen die alle die leckeren Pommes weg)

Ältere Bedienung im Wagen, in Kamp Lintfort. Geschehen heute 04.02.2023. Bestellung: 2 Grillhaxen, 1 ganzes Hähnchen. Erst sagt die ,, Dame " 8,50 €, dann mit dem ganzen Hähnchen 20,30 €. Ich fragte nach um die doofe Antwort zu hören ,, billiger war mal ". Sie packte mir die Sachen ein und fletschte das Wechselgeld auf den Tresen. Zu Hause ( Kevelaer ) angekommen, war nur das ganze Hähnchen und eine ( 1x)Grillhaxe eingepackt worden. Ganz schön mies. Nur zu spät und zu weit um wieder von Kevelaer nach Kamp Lintfort zur Reklamation zu fahren. Bin zwar nicht oft in Kamp Lintfort ,wurde aber bei Roland immer gut bedient. Vielleicht falsche Bedienung? Mit Sicherheit nicht ,, VERKAUFSGESTRESST ". WAR ALLEINE AM VERKAUFS -WAGEN. TUT MIR LEID, ABER DAS WAR,S FÜR MICH. HATTE ANFANG DER 90 ger BEI ROLAND GEKAUFT. Hallo liebes Roland Team, heute (Montag den 4.7.22) hatte ich mal wieder Lust auf Hänchen. Die Hänchen wurden von einer super freundlichen Dame zubereitet und verkaut. So zuvorkommet wurde ich dort in Kamp-Lintfort noch nie bedient. Ich komme sehr gerne immer wieder hier hin. Viele Grüße

Ich hole mir ab und zu beim Standort Bocholt Kaufland ein halbes Hähnchen bis jetzt wurde ich noch nicht entäuscht! Die Hähnchen waren immer gut gegrillt und gewürzt und die Bedienung immer nett und freundlich, ich werde das auf jeden Fall beibehalten!
