Lugano in Oberhausen

Unfortunately the food was not suitable for a restaurant. Bruschetta as a starter, unfortunately not very aromatic. The pasta and vegetables were cooked too soft and no longer had any bite, and unfortunately the sauces were also very bland. The pasta portion was very large. I would prefer a smaller portion and more class. It's a shame because the restaurant is very nice, but the food left a lot to be desired. However, if you value large portions and a small budget, you will definitely be happy.

Simply fantastic. The location is incredibly stylish and tastefully decorated. The entire team with the greatest owner is extremely friendly, accommodating and really listens to your every wish. The food is varied and so incredibly delicious: dessert is a MUST, no matter how full you are. It couldn't be more perfect.

Very courteous service and the food is also recommended. Would love to eat here again and again. Everything was very good tasting. 👍 I once treated myself to a large fillet steak. There were 6 of us there and everyone found the food very tasty.

War heute mit meiner Frau gegen 19.00 in dieser Gastronomie. Hatten den Bus verpasst. Haben zusammen eine Kleinigkeit gegessen und getrunken. Die Rechnung war exakt 29€ Beim bezahlen fragte ich ob es nicht ein Getränk auf das Haus gãbe. Die Antwort war: nur bei mindestens 30€ pro Person. Was ich davon halte. ….! Niemals wieder!!!!

We were there with our company on October 13th. We were greeted very friendly. The service staff are very courteous and professional. The food came at the same time and was very, very tasty. Everyone was very satisfied. We really liked the atmosphere. The restaurant was completely remodeled in the past. Very modern. A very big compliment to all the employees at Lugano. Also a big compliment to the boss. Very warm and humane! TOP KEEP UP! We are happy to recommend the restaurant!

Very tasty there and you feel welcome

We were in Oberhausen again for a few days and this time we visited this restaurant. We were able to reserve online in advance without any problem. We were warmly greeted on site and got a great table (55). The ambience is beautiful and the service was very courteous and friendly. The food was amazing. Fresh ingredients, beautifully prepared and tasted great. The selection of desserts makes it difficult to decide 😊 we were so excited that we made a reservation for the next day. Price performance absolutely fine. We are already looking forward to the next time

We had our women's regulars' table there today, we all ate there for the first time and we all agreed that the next regulars' table would be here again. Food, value for money, service and ambience were excellent. All in all, a good restaurant that I've unfortunately never really noticed before. This way you can be pleasantly surprised. We would all love to come back.

We have reserved a table for 20 people. The ambience and service were A1 👌. The food was prepared very well and arrived to everyone at the same time, you have to manage that first 👍 various dishes were ordered, the quality was first class!! I can only recommend this restaurant. Top 💪

Incredibly great restaurant. All honor to the boss. From the ambience, the service and the super delicious food (nice antipasti plate, mega selection of main courses with special recommendations from the house and very original dessert). All questions and requests were addressed. If we visit Oberhausen again, we will definitely come back!

Definitely recommended, really nice restaurant, nice atmosphere outside and inside. Modern terrace that can be perfectly opened and closed at any time, in different levels. The selection of the special season menu and reasonable lunch specials offer a wide variety of reasonable choices. The owner and the staff are very attentive and have been on site for a long time, but they still want to make every guest comfortable. Definitely worth a visit. Parking spaces are also not a problem and are well solved. We look forward to the next visit. Thanks so much

My first visit to this restaurant was definitely not the last. At the invitation of a dear colleague, we were able to sit down directly at the set table. The attentive service began with the offer to order an aperitif of various types with or without alcohol. When the group was complete, the menus were distributed. The selection is finely tuned and there is something for every taste. The selected dishes were served hot to the entire group (12 people) at the same time. Whether it was spaghetti with salmon in a sesame coating, steaks, or pasta with vegetables, no participant had a complaint. The taste was very good, the fish and meat were cooked to perfection. Unobtrusive service ensured that drinks were replenished in a timely manner. Thank you for the lovely evening!

Delicious, the meat was tender, juicy, and medium well. The shrimps were finger licking goed. The only thing that was lacking flavor was the tiramisu.

Not much on the menu for vegetarians

I've been there for ages, the food was delicious (usually very good quality), the drink didn't bother me. Two of the three waiters were very nice, the last one who collected the money was less friendly. Unfortunately, it was quite cool in the area where smoking is allowed, and according to the operation, the heater could not be turned on due to problems with the electricity. Hmm but the lighting worked perfectly and it also runs on electricity. Well, we still had a nice stay, although there is room for improvement.

Extremely warm and friendly service. Had the steak with pepper sauce and the Bailey's panna cotta, both were great and totally OK for the price. Gladly again and again.

Das ist mein absolutes Lieblingsrestaurant! Die Inhaber sind sehr freundlich, der Service ist perfekt und die Küche fantastisch! Alles ist sehr lecker, frisch und perfekt gegart und gewürzt. Alle Teller sind kreativ und liebevoll dekoriert. Lugano ist das beste Restaurant in dem ich jeh gegessen habe.

Wir waren mit Familie und Freunden dort. Leider kann ich hier beim besten Willen, nur ein mittelmässig vergeben. Bei der Bestellung wurde vorgeschlagen, dass man Antipasti-Teller ausgerichtet auf 6 Personen fertig macht. Prinzipiell tolle Idee, ausgerichtet waren diese aber eher auf 4 Personen. Nicht jeder konnte von allem etwas probieren. Diese waren dann auch noch recht teuer. Bei der Frage nach der Weinkarte wurde angeboten jemanden zu holen, der sich auskennt. Endeffekt: Ein anderer Kellner brachte uns die reguläre Speisekarte mit 5 verschiedenen Sorten Wein und empfahl dann einen der 5. Das hätten wir auch selber hinbekommen. Preis-Leistung, bis auf die Antipasti-Teller, war ok. Leider wurden wir nach dem Hauptgericht auch komplett ausgeblendet. Es kam keiner und fragte ob wir noch Nachtisch wollten. Auch auf eigene Nachfrage, wurden wir, nachdem wir noch einmal erneut die Karte bekamen, wieder ignoriert. Daher haben wir das Dessert dann ausfallen lassen und einen Kaffee zu Hause getrunken. Hier ist dem Restaurant auch noch einmal Umsatz entgangen.

We had dinner near Lugano after our civil wedding with 20 people. There was a great conversation beforehand with recommendations for organizing and selecting starters, desserts, etc. We already felt very comfortable there, but the evening itself surpassed it again. The entire team and especially the owner were super welcoming and created a good atmosphere with good food and great service. Special requests were taken into account and everyone got their money's worth.

So far the best Italian restaurant I have visited in the Ruhr area. Everything is right here. Very nice staff, the boss comes to the table for long, good conversations even though we've never been there before. Good wine selection, the food is a dream. Unfortunately, but no point deducted, it is quite loud because it is just an open space. The ambience invites you to linger longer. They make an effort here. The customer is king and the prices are completely acceptable.

A great restaurant with a very nice atmosphere. The food was really great and the portions were large. The service staff is super friendly and accommodating. If I could, I would give more stars.

First of all: The Food was good! BUT! In this restaurant you also get served pasta with chicken, which is normally not an Italian dish! STILL!!! The pasta is delicious, the starters are good (bruschetta is perfect, carpaccio is okay (was lacking the presentation and some good olive oil, zucchini "coins” are crispy, but our were sadly too salty.) The main course comes in quite big servings and is really rich in taste. Dessert is good (tiramisu is the best I ate in German and is nearly comparable to the homemade from Nonna) Modern looking room, little bit cold by the design (feels not as comfortable and traditional as it was a pair of years ago).

Das einzige Manko ist ein bisschen die Akustik, da es zeitweise sehr laut ist . Besonderer Bonus: Parkt man am Serkrader Tor um im Lugano zu Essen und bekommt dort einen Strafzettel bzgl Parkzeit, wird das vom Restaurant geregelt👍 1a mit Sternchen, kann es nur empfehlen.

Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und Aufmerksam das gilt auch für den Chef des Hauses. Alles sind sehr Kundenorientiert.

Jedesmal wurden wir mit Freundlichkeit und Respekt bedient und mit sehr sehr leckerem Essen belohnt. Auch am 2. Weihnachtstag war ich mit meinem Mann dort. Wir hatten reserviert (wie es an den Feiertagen so üblich ist) und hatten uns über die geänderte Speisekarte informiert. Trotz Stress an diesem Tag für das Personal war für uns davon nichts zu spüren. Denn wir wurden wie immer nett, freundlich und zuvorkommend bedient. Wir sind heute Abend zum ersten Mal vor Ort gewesen und wurden super herzlich empfangen. Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Abend mit tollen Essen. Der Service war sehr gut freundlich und herzlich. Wir haben uns wirklich sehr wohl gefühlt und werden mit Sicherheit wieder kommen. Vielen Dank. Alles Essen waren wirklich sehr gut. Keiner von unserer Gruppe ( 10 Personen ) hatte etwas auszusetzen. Das Fleisch war wie bestellt gegart. Alles Zutaten waren frisch zubereitet und schmeckten sehr gut.

Seit Jahren kommen wir gerne ins Restaurant Lugano. Besonders nach der Renovierung gefällt uns das Ambiente sehr. Die Mitarbeiter und Bedienungen treten immer freundlich auf. Zudem gibt es eine Auswahl an veganen Speisen, sodass auch wirklich jeder das passende Gericht findet. Wir kommen immer gerne wieder und empfehlen das Restaurant auch gerne Familie, Freunden und Bekannten.

Ich habe hier heute meinen Ausstand mit 25 Personen gefeiert und war rundum zufrieden. Der Service war sehr zuvorkommend und aufmerksam - wirklich großes Lob an das Team. Speisen waren auch super und es war für jeden etwas dabei (vegan/ vegetarisch/ glutenfrei). Vielen Dank für diesen schönen Abend!

Absolut zufrieden wir kommen definitiv wieder und zwar extra aus Wuppertal. Wir waren gestern auf der Suche in Oberhausen nach einem Restaurant und sind den Bewertungen gefolgt. Nicht umsonst hat das Restaurant 4,6 Sterne vollkommen zurecht mein Steak War auf dem Punkt gegrillt und die Nudeln von meiner Frau und meiner Tochter mit Lachs waren sehr sehr lecker

Besonders die Gastfreundschaft hat uns begeistert. Hier kann man voll und ganz Gast sein und sich verwöhnen lassen. Ein toller Spot mit gutem Ambiente, guter Stimmung bei Gästen und Service, sowie exzellenter Fleischqualität. Wir kommen gerne wieder. Herzlichen Dank für diesen durchaus gastorientierten Abend.

Waren mit einer Gruppe von 22 Leuten da. Das Essen von allen war einwandfrei und sehr lecker. Auch Sonderwünsche sind alle problemlos umgesetzt worden. Der Service war sehr aufmerksam (aber dabei nicht aufdringlich) und freundlich. Obwohl das Restaurant voll war, lief alles absolut reibungslos und man fühlte sich gut aufgehoben. Kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.

Das Restaurant ist für mich mit das beste, was Oberhausen zu bieten hat. Das extrem freundliche und zuvorkommende Personal lässt keine Wünsche offen. Sind am zweiten Weihnachtsfeiertag da hingegangen. Erst Mal waren die Plätze fehl am Platz, direkt bei dem Toiletten und an der Küche nicht Grad angenehm. Dann würde vorher nicht mal erwähnt, dass es an den Weihnachts-Tagen eine andere Karte gibt. Stress hin oder her, man kann trotzdem freundlich bleiben. Dann würden unsere Getränke vergessen. Und der hat uns auch nicht Grad freundlich behandelt, er müsse ja nicht auf haben, mit diesem Argument. Selbst bei der Bestellung wurde nicht richtig zugehört und einen ins Wort gefallen. Dann Last lieber den Laden zu!!!

Wir waren am ersten Weihnachtstag dort essen, das essen war auch lecker, aber die Bedienung war vollkommen überfordert, mein Mann hat auf sein zweites Bier eine halbe Stunde gewartet und mein Schwager und meine Mutter haben ihre nach dem Essen bestellen Ramazzottis gar nicht bekommen, manchmal ist weniger mehr, wenn man so viele Gäste aufeinmal nicht bedienen kann, sollte man es doch lieber lassen.
