Rock Café in Göppingen

The worst restaurant I've ever visited. I was served an expired juice. When I pointed this out to the waiter, I was told I still had to pay. When I asked for an exchange, the manager came over and aggressively claimed that the juice wasn't expired, I just didn't like the taste. I was then even taken to the kitchen, where I tasted the juice again and confirmed that it was indeed spoiled. Another manager then started shouting at me loudly and showed me the expiration date. I explained that this date applied to an unopened package, not an opened one, whose storage life and conditions were unknown to me. I was then told to "shut up." When I then declared that I would neither stay nor pay, they threatened me with the police. Only when I asked them to call the police did they realize they would have serious problems if they were to check. Eventually, they agreed to remove the juice from the bill. Absolutely unacceptable service. I've never seen employees yell at and threaten a customer. It's a disgrace; I wouldn't advise anyone to go there.

A truly great spot in Göppingen! You'd have to search long and hard to find burgers this good. The place is centrally located, with outdoor seating and a parking garage nearby. The food and service are 👍👍👍 We'll definitely be back!

Awesome burgers!!! I can recommend Burning Man with a clear conscience. Apart from the fact that it caught fire at the table and the liquid cheddar running over the burger, the patties were top-notch and not your standard frozen goods. They tasted fantastic, and even I, a big eater, was actually full after the burger. I only had a side salad, which I couldn't finish, and that was really good and not to be underestimated. The atmosphere was also great; we sat outside in the best weather, and the kids played by the water. They'll probably see me again. Don't be fooled by reviews from before 2020; we spoke to the owner, who recently took over the place.

We were there today. The food was delicious, the burger was great value for money. The owner was very friendly. I can only recommend it to anyone who wants good food. This is definitely the place to go.

What a great place! The owner is really super friendly and thinks along well. He gave us valuable tips – from delicious cocktails to high-quality burgers. The snacks were also very tasty, although it is a pity that they can only be ordered until 22:00, even on a Friday or Saturday evening. When we arrived late on Friday – after a seven-hour drive and no idea of ​​the area yet – we were very hungry. The owner then ordered pizzas for us. Really top service, we really appreciated that! What struck us positively was the high quality of both the food and the cocktails. Really better than expected. A small downside we found was the number of people smoking. Of course you can't do much about that, but during dinner it was a disturbing factor for me and my children. All in all a super nice place. Definitely recommended. We will definitely come back!

A very busy restaurant on Fridays. Good music, and the terrace is comfortable, even in light rain, as the tables are covered with large parasols. Perhaps they could add a few more bar stools.

My meal was abysmal. Fitness bowl... oven-baked vegetables with basmati rice and cherry tomatoes. The rice tasted of nothing, the vegetables were very finely chopped and hard to identify, probably zucchini and peppers with a very unpleasant mix of spices. It was also very dry (no sauce) and extremely hot (I suspect from the microwave). No cherry tomatoes. It tasted awful. Since I was hungry, I ate the rice. After two bites of the vegetables, I left them. The Rock Cafe is otherwise a nice place. The service was good, friendly staff, and a pleasant atmosphere. The other food on offer, unfortunately, was all convenience food.

The finest finger food in a pleasant atmosphere.

Very pleasant, relaxed atmosphere. My wife and I stopped by before the official opening time and received a delicious cappucino from the owner himself. Totally nice, tasty and warm atmosphere. The evening before, after 10 p.m., we had a drink of piña colada and a neat non-alcoholic wheat as well as two perfectly brewed cappucini. The kitchen was already closed, so I can't rate it. Very friendly and courteous service. Great place. Relaxed atmosphere. Absolutely recommended.

It's more about the ambience here. The staff still seem to need some structure, but they are very helpful and friendly. For a burger restaurant the ambience is quality. Since I ate the feta roll, I can't comment much on the dishes. According to the company I was there with, the bowls weren't the best that day. Burgers were ok.

Was there for the first time since the change of ownership and I was thrilled. The food is incredibly tasty, with the spare ribs the meat falls off the bone, just as it should. A great place in the Saturday midday sun. Great menu. Take spare clothes for the little ones on hot days...the fountain invites the little ones to take a shower.

Also dass bei euch Tiefkühlfleisch in form von Burger patties verkauft wird, ist unterste Schublade. Wenn man noch die relation zum preis sieht, geht das absolut nicht. Und 8 onion rings für 8,50€ zu verlangen bei einem EK von 0,08€ pro onion ring, ist eine absolute Frechheit und nur mit "betrug am Kunden" zu betiteln.

I found the restaurant very good. My citizen was really tasty and the sweet potato fries were better for me. It's just a shame that there was so little going on. I would have hoped for more from the music, it was quite quiet and more blues than rock. I would have liked some rock classics.

Unfortunately the food was served cold and the drinks weren't that good either!

Also ich dachte ich gebe dem Rock Cafe nochmals ne Chance und bin dann auf die Helloween Party gegangen es legt Dj Rockmaster B auf. Also bin ich gespannt. Leider entäuscht war eben Radiomusik und für mich langweilig und war durchschnittlich und ich wiederhole für mich. Rock oder Gitarrenmusik war da wenig vorhanden. Aber das Bier und dieser Apfelstrudel Shot waren gut. Göppingen ist keine Partystadt was auch nicht schlimm ist

Waren mit 2 kleinen Hunden zum Essen da. Das Personal war sehr Tier freundlich, das Essen lecker und das Ambiente sehr schön.

Probably the coolest place in Goppingen! Great people working there, I don't speak any German so we had conversations in English, including with the owner of the Pub. Very good looking location, quite big bar and also a terrace, a nice variety of drinks, awesome food! Sehr gute Location hätte lch nicht gedacht, Begeistert war ich vom Essen bis zur Ambiente. Ich kann den Laden nur weiter empfehlen egal was man vor hat (Geburtstagsfeier) usw.. Der Besitzer Caner hilft euch bei der Organisation gerne mit seinem Team. Daher bekommt diese Location 5 Sterne von mir. Einfach so weiter machen Rock Cafe Team.👍👍

War das erste Mal Dort und bestimmt nicht das letzte Mal. Leider muss ich sagen das die Damen Toliette das eckelshafte Erlebnis an meinem Abend wahr. So etwas sollte wirklich nicht in unserem heutigen Hygiene Konzept vorkommen. Muss dazu sagen das ich nach diesem Erlebnis nicht wissen will wie es in der Küche aussieht.

Essen ist Gut, Service auch usw. Aber mit Rock hat's nicht sooooo viel zu tun.

Seit dem Umbau, kann man hier echt gemütlich einem Cocktail trinken...kenne diesen Ort noch von früher da war es immer richtig wild 😄

An sich nicht schlecht. Mein Salat ( caeser salad ) hat nicht danach geschmeckt. Bacon war kalt, und hat alt geschmeckt, sowie die crotons. Und wenn die Schuhe, beschmutzt werden, weil die Soßen auf dem Boden fliegen, weil der Kellner ein wenig zu schnell unterwegs war, erwarte ich wenigstens eine Entschuldigung und danke, da ich die gesamte becher für ihm aufgeräumt habe.

Tolles, leckeres Essen. Der Kellner war freundlich und lustig. Tische sind gross, so passte alles drauf. Sieht schön aus und die Lage ist genial.

Sehr gutes Essen zum guten Preis

Kultlocation in GP, allerdings ist der Service schlecht und das Essen in der Preis-Leistung ebenfalls nicht gut. Hatte einen Salat welcher wirklich schlecht war, extrem wenig und sehr überteuert. Eine 2. Runde Getränke konnten wir nicht bestellen, keiner kam mehr vorbei.

Hab seit langem Mal wieder das Rock Cafe besucht, da wir einen ruhigen Platz gesucht haben. Die Bedienung und der Chef sind mega nett und auch für einen kleinen Spaß zu haben. Solche Läden brauchen wir in der Stadt. Werden öfters kommen. ✌️

Extrem nettes Personal, großartiges essen und Abends auch immer wieder gute Partys. Rundum mehr als nur einen Besuch wert.
