Super delicious food and very friendly staff. Definitely coming back.

Small but nice, with friendly staff (even if the service sometimes takes a while when there is a lot of crowds). Food and drinks of organic quality. The leisurely "ascent" always rewards us - first with nature and then at the top with this mountain restaurant. My longing goal, after serious broken bones! We often come here on a sunny day after a walk past the rocky cliff or rock formation of the Hohenstaufen "Spielburg" - and then up a picturesque forest path to the Hohenstaufen castle ruins Terrace from which you have a wonderful view towards Stuttgart and eating a schnitzel with spaetzle and salad - or just drinking a special or wheat (or licking ice cream) and chatting to other guests - that's pure enjoyment and like a little vacation, the slogan of the restaurant in this historic and beautiful place: “Come up to come down”. Mid-January 2025 - Closed at the end of February. Open again from mid-March 2025. Therefore, take advantage of the beautiful weather at the moment and call “Auffi - the mountain or the restaurant “Heaven and Earth!” Highly recommended: You should definitely take the honey from the “Hohenstaufen bees” home with you. This will help you survive the gray winter days even more easily!

Went to Christmas dinner with my department this week. I found a spotlessly clean restaurant, beautifully and modernly furnished... The food was, as always, sensational from fresh products, very good in terms of quality and taste. The restaurateurs were very flexible regarding special requests and presented the food with a lot of warmth... A restaurant with heart!

Schönes Lokal, stylische Einrichtung, sauber. Essen ist sehr sehr lecker aber die Portionen sind überschaubar. Ein normal gewachsener Mann wird definitiv nicht satt.
