Roca in Wetzlar

We celebrated a birthday at Roca and ordered different dishes. The pasta was the best, the pizza was average, and the schnitzel was unfortunately a store-bought product with little flavor and poor seasoning. The desserts were outstanding and simply delicious. It's a shame there wasn't a complimentary treat for the birthday child. There are no changing facilities for babies and toddlers.

The chicken was too salty and the service took a while, while the vegetables were excellently prepared and the restaurant as a whole had a pleasant atmosphere.

A very good restaurant on the outskirts of Wetzlar. The service is very friendly and efficient. The food (we had salads, pasta, and meat) was exceptionally delicious. The Montepulciano was also very good. The glass building seemed a bit odd to me at first glance, but it creates a pleasant atmosphere. I highly recommend Roca!

We sat outside and were greeted immediately. It was still pretty empty around 6:00 PM, so we had free seating. I had the Toscana pizza without mushrooms, and my colleague had a grilled platter. Both were delicious and perfectly prepared. For dessert, my colleague had panna cotta and fell in love with it again with every spoonful. Everything was reasonably priced and more than worth the money. Oh, and the staff were very friendly and easy to chat with, and they even gave us a glass of grappa when we paid. Thank you for the delicious meal 👌👌

We've eaten there several times and have never been disappointed. The conservatory offers a wonderful atmosphere, and the chef and staff are super friendly and always ready for a chat. In addition to the standard menu, there are daily specials, priced appropriately for the food. You'll always be greeted with a welcome drink from the chef beforehand. Reservations are recommended during peak times.

A modern restaurant with a pleasant atmosphere and clientele—and excellent food. One of my favorites in Wetzlar.

We had pizza and pasta. Both were very bland and tasteless. I don't go out for food like that. And at that price...

The food was top-notch. The restaurant, the food, and the plates and cutlery were completely clean. The service was quick, helpful, and courteous. You won't find a better restaurant in the entire area. Highly recommended, and everyone should go there at least once. (The host is one of the friendliest you'll ever meet 😊)

We were at Roca on Friday. One of our favorite restaurants ever! The food is varied and delicious. The ambiance is also very nice, and the staff is very attentive and courteous. We'd be happy to go back!

Very friendly service, our regular restaurant. A small menu with a seasonal change of specials, everything is very good and homemade. Pictured: tagliatelle with asparagus, shrimp, and lobster cream sauce.

We always went there for lunch on Thursdays. Everything was fine. However, last time I had spaghetti with king prawns. The portion they delivered was so small that I had to make something else at home. Very disappointing for €33.00 for my plate. We've now moved our Thursday meal. It's a shame, but necessary.

The best food!!! Grilled ribeye breast with small potatoes. The salads are varied and very fresh. The sauces are homemade. A fantastic atmosphere. The staff and the chef are incredibly friendly and very attentive. Everything is of a high standard. 🫶🌷🌞

Very friendly, attentive service. The food was super delicious. My daughter had homemade pasta, my son had a pasta bake and I had a pizza. All three of us were thrilled. This was finally, after a very long time, a pizza that wasn't dripping with fat. This was delicious, topped with good products 👍🏻👍🏻. We would love to come here again. On weekends or evenings it can be advantageous to reserve a table.

Nice people there, the food is good, but the prices have risen significantly now. Unfortunately for "normal people" it's only affordable once or twice a year...

We felt absolutely unwanted. Despite the staff passing by several times and looking directly at our empty glasses, we were consistently ignored - no refills, no asking if we would like anything else. Even when it came to dessert, no one asked if we wanted to order anything. There wasn't much going on so you can't say it just went under. Rather, it seemed as if we were being deliberately avoided. To make matters worse, we even had the feeling that we were being talked about, which only added to the uncomfortable feeling. The food was fine, but this behavior ruined the entire visit. We have never experienced anything like this and will definitely not be coming back.

Cozy restaurant about 2 km from the center. The menu is very clear and is limited to well-selected dishes. During our visit, additional menus were offered on a slate board. The restaurant (Saturday) was very busy, tables were probably not available without a reservation. The dishes were tasty and recommended. The waitresses were friendly and attentive. Prices are at a higher level than average.

Roca was recommended to us by our hotel as a small pizzeria nearby. We were very positively surprised! I have rarely eaten better, antipasti platter at its finest. The wine and dessert menu also offers a good selection. The service is super attentive and helpful (wheelchair driver). Gladly again!

We had dinner there on a Tuesday evening. Pleasant volume, not too many guests, so you could have a good chat with each other. The many glass walls make the entire restaurant appear pleasantly bright and open. Planting prevents everyone standing on the street from being able to look at your plate. The food was really very tasty. The steaks were cooked as ordered and the asparagus was also very good. The portions are large enough and if there is room for dessert after the main course, these are also highly recommended. The waitresses are very friendly, not pushy and pleasantly relaxed. People who contribute perfectly to the pleasant atmosphere in the restaurant. We were also able to bring our dog, who was given water without being asked. You are asked to bring a blanket for your dog, which also makes sense. So the dog has a place allocated for itself. All in all a great restaurant, which is highly recommended. Be it a meal for two or an event with several guests, you are in good hands here.

We're there regularly for our girls' night out. Nice and attentive staff, great food and fair prices. Every evening there is a treat - especially when it ends with dessert!

This was my second time here. Very good quality, you can't complain about that. Service very friendly. There's not much you can do about the ambience outside in the form of the central main street location with a view of the gas station. But you know that beforehand. The downside is the price-performance ratio. No pizza or pasta dish under 15€ (except Margherita). The same applies to drink prices. (0.5l beer 6.20, wheat 5.50). There is room for improvement here. Therefore “only” 4 stars.

Great Italian with great service and even better cuisine! You always feel like a guest again and again and can enjoy the food and the evening at Roca so much. Delicious food, prepared and served with love. The owner and his staff care about the customers and know how to make a meal an experience. I'm already looking forward to the next visit!

I would say that the price-performance ratio is right here. There is still a bit of room for improvement in the quality of the food. Everything was really tasty but my carbonara had very little ham and far too much cream in the sauce. The service was attentive and friendly with a smile. The ambience was also nice. You could even sit in the sun in a beach chair.

For us the best and most authentic Italian restaurant in Wetzlar! You are greeted warmly, the menu is clear and you can find typical Italian cuisine. Fast and friendly service is a given. We were thrilled with our large salad plate and the pizzas. To say goodbye there was a Ramazzotti on the house. We come more often now...

Very tasty Italian/Mediterranean cuisine. The torteloni with porcini mushroom filling were homemade and the asparagus was also very good and tender. There is a fast charging station directly adjacent.

Very, very tasty food, reasonable prices and great service. One of my friends has a severe intolerance and this was addressed immediately and very creatively. WITHOUT surcharge. We have often experienced things differently. No problem here at all.

We waited here for the first time today and were extremely satisfied. The service was super friendly and really on the ball and the food was very tasty and plentiful. The weather was great when we were there and we would have liked to sit outside, but the street was a bit noisy. But that's our only downer.

Tolle italienische Küche, Restaurant war komplett ausgebucht ( Wochenende), daher auch etwas „eng“ gestellt und nicht gerade leise. Der Service nett und aufmerksam und der Chef hatte trotzdem noch Zeit für ein kurzes Schwätzchen. Absolut empfehlenswert und bestimmt demnächst wieder (trotz 40min Anfahrt)

Das Essen hat uns gut geschmeckt. Das Ambiente auch schön, mit Luft nach oben. Der Service 1a. Schnell, freundlich und motiviert auch noch das ein oder andere extra zu verkaufen. Das Restaurant war gut besucht als wir um 20 Uhr dort angekommen sind. Eine Reservierung hatten wir nicht, glücklicherweise trotzdem noch einen Platz bekommen.
