Röbl's in Bargteheide

This was my second time having breakfast at Röbl's. The open-faced sandwiches are huge and incredibly delicious. There were six of us, and everyone was more than satisfied with their meal. It was beautifully presented. The price is right, and the service is very pleasant. In short: Thumbs up!!! We're thrilled!!!

I called the day before and was turned away for a reservation for two people. We were told to just show up… when we arrived it was very crowded and we were told we either had to wait (about 20 minutes) or share a table with other people! Perhaps they should consider requiring reservations for two or more people?! It's a real shame, it's actually a great place.

We've been coming here for years. Now we wanted to go back and checked the memory card beforehand. However, we won't be coming again. When I read that I have to pay €3 if I want to share a meal, I found that more than cheeky. Wrapping up my leftovers costs an extra €0.80. Throwing food away is obviously better. Okay, you have to pay for the packaging, so I could just about accept that. But the €3 extra plate is unacceptable for us. On top of that, the place is incredibly loud. It's a real shame, because the food was always delicious, and I'm happy to pay a little more for good quality, but this is going too far for us.

Nice restaurant in the heart of town with friendly service. The food was delicious; I loved that you could choose from two portion sizes for my meal! The prices are reasonable. I can recommend this restaurant.

On our daughter's recommendation, we went to Röbl's for the first time today. Delicious food and friendly service. We will definitely be back! I do have one suggestion, though: The price of the small "pot" of truffle mayo should be reconsidered in relation to the fantastic Wiener Schnitzel.

Exactly 9 weeks ago today, we went to this restaurant for lunch. The food was very good, and so was the service. Nevertheless, visiting this restaurant changed my life 😥 We were sitting in the back room and wanted to leave the restaurant... At the transition from the back to the front room, there is an unmarked step that isn't visible because the flooring is the same in front and back. I stepped on this step, twisted my ankle, and fell. This fall caused a comminuted fracture of my wrist, which required surgery and is causing serious problems. Apparently, there's a small sign on the wall next to the door indicating that there's a step. Every normal person looks forward when walking, not at the wall next to the door. I suspect I'm not the first, nor the last, to fall there.... Unfortunately, I don't have legal insurance, otherwise I'd sue the restaurant.... The doctor gives me little hope that my hand will return to its former state. Every morning I wake up in pain and needed to get this off my chest right here and now....

We had delicious burgers! They're definitely some of the best in the Stormarn area. The service was friendly; we'll definitely be back.

If it's full, you'll wait over an hour for your food. But it was still tasty.

The food at Röbl's is simply fantastic. The ambiance is a bit cramped but cozy. The service is friendly and attentive. The only drawback is the long wait for the food.

It was a Tuesday evening. I went out to eat with my girlfriend around 6:00 PM. Yes, it was quite busy and therefore very loud. The food was good, too. When we finished eating, we were immediately asked if we wanted something to drink. However, we had to get up and continue drinking at the bar because other guests also wanted to eat. :-( We would have liked to have dessert, but of course we decided against it. We left the restaurant around 7:05 PM. We've never experienced anything like it before, and the way we were treated was downright rude. We won't be back anytime soon!!!

The ambiance is very nice, and parking is available. You can't make a reservation for two people, and it was full when we arrived. After a 15-minute wait and a table at the counter, we finally took a table outside despite the not-so-great weather. (Eating at the counter is simply uncomfortable.) We always had to go inside and ask a server to come out for further orders (drinks, dessert, etc.). The burger and pasta were okay, but judging by the reviews and pictures, we expected more.

Good food, very friendly and attentive service.

I was there with a friend in the evening. We got a table inside without a reservation. It was great. The burgers all sounded amazing, and it's great that you can get ANY burger in a veggie or vegan version, including by choosing the patty. It tasted amazing, too. The prices are a bit high, so it's a shame that a small side salad or small fries aren't included.

The food is delicious, but very expensive! Fries and mayo have to be ordered separately with the burger and, of course, paid for separately.

I visited spontaneously, got a seat, ordered quickly, and ate delicious food. Done! The portions were just right, the taste was just right, and the value for money was right. The menu offers a wide selection of both food and drinks. Friendly and fast service. Seating inside and outside.

The food wasn't really tasty. We had bread with dip as a starter. The dips were really bad. The two drinks were inedible. They tasted like dish soap. But the service was really nice and friendly.

A super delicious, high-quality breakfast! We had plenty of space and were able to chat. It was perfect for meeting up with friends. We were able to park for free right outside, and there are plenty of parking options nearby.

The atmosphere, the staff, and the quality of the food were outstanding. We had to wait a bit for a table, but we didn't have a reservation and were there during the most popular time. While we waited, we were able to sit at the counter and have a drink. As soon as a table became available, we were escorted to it. It was super friendly and overall a very pleasant experience. And then there was the food and excellent drinks. We were, and still are, very impressed.

Our new favorite restaurant. Super tasty food, always friendly service, even when it gets full (as it often does). Great regional and seasonal offers, plus a strong regular menu where everyone will find what they are looking for. Although it is always really full, with a little patience and waiting you can get a table. Even without a reservation Highly recommended, we come more often now 🤗

The burgers are always delicious, but I can't recommend the Asian Style Bowl at all. You can definitely eat cold rice with vinegar salad and mayo on top at home if you like it. Unfortunately the bowl only looks good, but doesn't taste good at all. Was really very disappointed.

In any case, super tasty and so appetizing and beautifully presented, the falafel with hummus was great, exactly what I like👍😁😁😋🤪

Five of us came here for a birthday lunch. The store was half full on Sunday lunchtime. The meat burgers and schnitzels were very good, as were the sauces. The side dishes and the vegan burger were just average. Yes. Everyone has a bad day, but for us it was the service. Drinks only came when asked, after half an hour, the loaded fries were downgraded to a side dish instead of a complete portion, the five dishes we ordered only came to the table after 45 minutes and at a longer interval and the service didn't want to come to the table to pay, in short, that wasn't good and, above all, not at all appropriate given the significantly increased prices. The shop is uncomfortably loud and with every new guest there is a completely icy wind blowing through the shop, strange that this doesn't bother the operators. All in all, none of this is true, it's not all right. It's burgers with fries, not star cuisine. I don't want to wait 45 minutes for it, it has to be delivered much quicker, especially given the prices and especially when there's nothing going on in the store. You can pay seven euros for a small handful of Italian-style fries as a side dish to the burger, but then it has to come to the table quickly, with service on point, drinks immediately available, in a clearly comfortable room in which I don't feel cold and don't understand a word, ditto for a schnitzel with fries for twenty euros. I'm unsure if I'll come back. We still know the old location at the sports field and the burgers are still good, but here and now the shop wants too much and isn't delivering yet. Too bad.

Disappointing - never again! Disappointed for the sixth time! The wait was outrageously long and when the food finally came there was hair in it - disgusting! In addition, the staff was rude and did not respond to complaints. Absolutely not recommended.

Perfect food, perfect service, nice atmosphere

The food is very tasty, the menu is clear and not too big and the staff is friendly and attentive. The portions are almost a bit too big, but ultimately that's always a question of how much you can fill. Afterwards I was full (very full) and felt in good hands. I can fully recommend this restaurant.

The best schnitzels are here. The girls who serve are great, attentive and friendly. We really liked it. We'd love to come back. Have been there a few times. We like it very much. You get full.

The restaurant offers a cozy atmosphere. You feel very comfortable. It's just a bit noisy when the room is completely full The food is absolutely amazing in terms of taste. Totally delicious, incredibly tasty. We had burgers and onion roast. Really a 100% recommendation.

I've been here for breakfast three times now and am very impressed every time. Delicious breakfast, pleasantly friendly service, special requests are happily taken into account and I personally really like the ambience. In my opinion, the plentiful sandwiches are particularly recommended; Lovingly prepared and sure to have something for every taste, from vegan to vegetarian to animal. Simply delicious! Once sweet, apple crumble, once baked salty buratta, was here in the afternoon, coffee was very good, service was extremely nice and friendly! We would love to come back here!

Was deeply disappointed today, came at 12.15 and wanted to order overnight oats and although, according to the menu and notice, breakfast is possible until 1 p.m., I was told the kitchen was already closed for breakfast. I was refused even a simple croissant. After my complaint, I was only offered a gourmet breakfast, of course for 20 euros per person. It's a shame, I've been very happy with the service so far. I'll be making further visits now.

I had a very tasty lunch burger. Absolutely top value for money. The other dishes were also good prices. The service was great and very personable. The atmosphere was very inviting and it is comfortably furnished. Very happy again!

I was a guest there some time ago with my partner. When we wanted to order and we had chosen our dishes, I was informed that my dish was no longer available... ok, plan B dish! This was no longer available either! So the emergency solution remained Plan C, but there were missing ingredients! At first I thought the waitress was joking but no, it was true! Well, it should happen, but it shouldn't! We ordered something to drink and got the bottles on the table, like in a snack bar. You can do it, you shouldn't. Well the food came after about 20 minutes and was ok, not the one that brought but ok. The burgers were far too small for the price. In every top burger restaurant, you get a menu for the same price and not just a single burger, where you have to order the fries separately, the meat is fried and there is too much pepper on it. Sry but for 15-16€ for a burger... people honestly don't! Well, we wanted to have cocktails at the end and ordered a Pina Colada, which only tasted like sour cream with ice! The glass was loveless with no decorations etc., no pineapple, no coconut taste, no nothing! It tasted like a pot of .89 cent whipped cream from JA! When we complained about it, we got a new one... conclusion... taste of our own! We complained again when the apparent bartender stood in front of us and complained that it tasted completely normal! Sorry, I don't know who made it taste like that, but ok! When I kindly tried to convey to the slight young man that it was absolutely inedible, he became even more angry. Sry brother, if you can't handle criticism, you're in the wrong place. Well, all in all, we didn't get a new one and still had to pay for both jars of whipped cream. Conclusion: - Prices are underground, far too expensive for what you unfortunately get served - Employees always try to be friendly - Chef... hmm you can't do everything - Bartender... well even a mixed cocktail according to a Google recipe tastes better - Ambience Ok, a bit much tam tam for little quality of food and snack atmosphere with the drink bottles on the table - no supplies to offer the food that is offered to the customer. End of story, we tested it two more times and it was the same result! Different food, different drinks, different staff, same result. This certainly wouldn't have happened at the previous restaurant. Sad result. Please never join my local, your local! Keep some dignity and revise your concept.

Really very nice restaurant and very nice service. We had a brownie with a scoop of ice cream for dessert. It was really really tasty. Price-performance ratio is perfectly fine. You can go back there with a clear conscience.

For us it was the first visit to Röbl's - even though we live just a kilometer away in Bargteheide. We had our colleagues (m/f/d) at “Where are we going to eat today...?” never on the list. It always looked a bit "barricaded" to us from the outside and the location is now remembered somewhat negatively because of the shop in front of it, That has changed since yesterday. The appetizer, burger and fries were at "Las Vegas level" - anyone who has ever eaten in the real store knows what I mean. The service manager had everything under control and after we had processed our - without a reservation - "Please take a seat at the bar first..." and after eating we knew why the place was so full on a Sunday after Christmas we were so happy... #SongsGeil

Yesterday I had a small Christmas party with my colleagues where we ate and drank for a four-figure sum. We left a generous tip for the waitress because we were happy with everything up to that point. However, after paying directly, the real hit came: my colleague had ordered a mixed drink and asked for a little more orange juice because it was otherwise too strong for her. We're talking about 50g of orange juice here, mind you! The service employee actually asked for “a few euros” for the sip of juice. Unfortunately, this situation negatively overshadowed the whole lovely evening at Röbl's. How can a restaurant be so rude and, after good sales and tips, actually be so petty and ask for money for a sip of orange juice?! It doesn't surprise me if customers stay away. Too bad! Significant potential for improvement in dealing with customers.

We celebrated my mother's 85th birthday with 11 people. I had brought decorations in advance. The table was fantastically prepared and beautifully set. The food was excellent. Compliments to the chef, everything was served hot at the same time. The staff was very attentive, very friendly and tried very hard. A young and happy team. The atmosphere is modern and very cozy. The outside stand with mulled wine was also nice, a great idea for smokers. Any time again and absolutely recommended. Thank you for the wonderful evening

It was great! Gruenkoehl was delicious. Only complaint is that it was a little bit loud because it was a busy night, but nothing really to complain about there. The food was great. The service was great. Our server was cute. The beer selection was great. And we had a nice time!

Every dish had that certain something and a wonderful taste - you can tell that the cooking here is done with quality and creativity. We would love to come back for this experience again and again! On recommendation, I went to Röbl's for dinner in the evening. Very tasty food, nicely prepared. A very nice atmosphere, very nice service. It is an excellent cocktail bar later in the evening.

The stars aren't enough... I'm thrilled with today's breakfast... please go there yourself to see what I mean by that. The staff is very friendly and tries to accommodate every request. Vegetarians get their money's worth here.

I was there today with my girlfriend and we were looking forward to a nice evening and we were hungry. Unfortunately I was disappointed. I love roast beef and eat it very often in different restaurants. Unfortunately this was very disappointing. It wasn't tasty to look at, it was gray and streaked with fat. The taste was juicy but chewy. I complained about it straight away and had it returned and ordered something else. After a few moments the service person came back and explained to me that my complaint would not be recognized. I could order something else, but I would still have to pay for the roast beef. So I had to eat it willy-nilly. What a shame! I don't know if I'll go there again

I can only agree with the negative reviews. Long waiting times, overpriced food and poor, sometimes unqualified service. Tried it 3 times, never again In September 2024 we were in the restaurant again and were very positively surprised. A great, relaxed service with a fresh, young team. The food was good and if you waited too long you got a free drink as an apology. It's attractive inside and it's very comfortable to sit in. Unfortunately, these benches in the terrace area are terrible. The terrace also looks like “mass instead of class”. This is likely to be improved in the coming season. Otherwise 👍👍👍👍

Food came much later after ordering. Then the food we ordered was no longer available and then some people got food and others didn't.

Ordered a takeaway for €82, waited for about 10 minutes and requested the waitress for tap water for my little daughter and got a prompt ‚no‘ from her. It’s tap water for gods sake and not a freakin’ glass of champagne. Be empathetic towards customers first and foremost. Ridiculous. The food though is excellent.

It's dark inside and the map is small and written in strange font. that can be improved. It is very loud but is unavoidable at the intersection. We were annoyed to be shown to a small 2-person table even though we wanted the 4-person table in the corner. The prices, it goes like this, have become very expensive in the last few years. The food was tasty, the portions were ok. Then there was a problem with the drink, which first came wrong. The more expensive item was shown on the bill and the difference was then returned.

The service staff was very friendly and took care of the guests. However, it is quite noisy outside as the restaurant is on a main road with an intersection. So if you want to sit outside, you should be prepared. The food took a while to arrive, but when it came it was both tasty and hot. So if you have a little more time, you can eat well here and enjoy a pleasant meal. Overall, the restaurant is a good choice for anyone who values ​​friendly service and good food.

We were looking forward to the opening of Röbel's with excitement, then yesterday the time had come for us. We entered the restaurant and the “wow” effect was there immediately. So beautifully furnished, the details of the accessories lovingly placed. The chairs are super comfortable, if you look at the ceiling from the chair you will notice the sophisticated greenery. We were very kindly seated near the counter, which was also a feast for the eyes. The service and the food were simply great. I haven't tried the burgers yet, I started with fish & chips and the dish was a culinary delight...next time I'll try a burger. I wish Röbel's and the team always good luck and lots of success. Sad. You look forward to breakfast for your birthday and are bitterly disappointed. Ordered a gourmet platter. Instead of salmon and salami there is avocado (it was specifically said that no one at the table eats it) and mett for half a roll, but the full price is charged.

I ordered and picked up today. When we get home, it’s time to eat. I ordered the cordon bleu and unfortunately it was raw on one side. I paid a lot of money and am now allowed to put myself in the kitchen again, even though I wanted to treat myself to it today. I expected a lot but can't recommend it. A pity

Service was among the most professional I’ve experienced; never pushy but present and smooth. Big thanks to the staff! The atmosphere was nice. We were seated outside, but traffic noise was not an issue thanks to glass panels installed towards the street. As traffic died down bird song from trees nearby took over. It was a perfect start to our stay in Germany. Everyone in the company was happy with their food. Good quality and well sized servings.

Really good and tasty food, Vegan selection available even if you don't have your own burger bun yet, which is also vegan. The one provided is very small but tasty :) Unfortunately, it's really difficult to have a conversation as soon as it gets even remotely full, as the acoustics are rather bad and the music is too loud in the back area. … the food and the shop are good, the quality is good and the staff is friendly. Unfortunately, there is a lack of flexibility in one place or another. The children's ticket is no longer available for a child (over 12 years of age). If you want to order a small portion of loaded fries, you can only do this in conjunction with a burger. Even when combined with an appetizer or salad, you don't get the small portion. That's a shame because it's probably better to sell nothing than small portions. Here I would like the concept to be adapted or kept more flexible.

We were there for breakfast. Unfortunately disappointing. Very small, packaged cheese and a bland cream cheese was presented. The cheese breakfast is not recommended. The coffee is also rather mediocre.

The service was very friendly and attentive. In terms of price, I was on the higher side, but it corresponded to the quality. I'd love to come back!
