Road House Diner / Autohof Mönkeloh in Paderborn

We did go 2-3 times a month but no more. Not enough staff so they are disgruntled and over worked. This time I asked for something from 2 separate menus as the chicken tenders are awful and nuggets would be better. The waiter sarcastically laughed as he refused. Our child has autism and so doesn't eat everything. The drinks came and were basically pink water with a strawberry. Yuk. The burger and the roll cold and the burger was too big for the roll. We paid with a card and the waiter continued to slag off customers that paid with cards as cash should be used. Yes cash is king but I had none on me. The weather was lovely and the play park was still closed, the reason we go there so our child can be playing whilst we relax and watch.

Delicious food, cool atmosphere. It was pretty quick, even though we always come as a large group.

Really great ambience in American style, friendly staff. Where is the typical coffee flat rate??? Why a robot operation??? That seemed very strange, something we're more familiar with in Asian restaurants. The robot, no coffee flat rate and the uncomfortable terrace destroy the beautiful ambience

Nice atmosphere, friendly employees. My homemade lemonade had no taste and was replaced after a complaint. There was hardly any dressing to taste on the salad, the rest was good.

We were there on a Saturday evening with 10 people, we had reserved the table. The restaurant was about 80% full. The order was taken relatively quickly, and the drinks and food didn't take long to arrive. First the positive: The fries are delicious and all dishes were warm/hot. Now to the negative: The burgers taste good but terribly, terribly dry... both the bun and the patty! I can understand that with the bun, it's just bread... but with the patty...? This shouldn't happen in a burger restaurant! The service leaves a lot to be desired: no one asks if it tastes good, and no one asks if they would like any other drinks. When we wanted to pay we were put off because a few acquaintances still had to be warmly greeted... Maybe we were just unlucky with the food and service, but I won't be coming back anytime soon!

Always great service! Always friendly staff!!! Unfortunately it's far too rare! Always very child-friendly too! And then it tastes super delicious too! Top! We're always happy to come!

Very fast and friendly service. Kitchen is ultra-fast!! After 10 minutes everything was on the table even though around 75% was occupied.

The food is excellent. Maybe there's a new chef?! It really wasn't tasty for a while. Now the schnitzels, for example, are twice as thick/large with a super delicious breading The service is very nice and attentive. There is a nice vegetarian/vegan burger selection on the menu, but it would be even nicer if there was also a vegetarian/vegan schnitzel selection. 🤗 We would love to come back and give it a solid 5 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟

I asked kindly whether it would be possible to change the sauce on the lunch menu. The waiter said to me in an offended tone “No, then it would be a different menu”. He should say: “Unfortunately that’s not possible.” My menu included a salad. Here I only wanted cucumber & tomatoes because I have food intolerances that don't need to be discussed further here. The waiter said: He could ask if that would be possible. I replied that it was always possible before. To which he said: “Depending on who is in the kitchen”. What kind of statement is that? It doesn't work at all. Service 0.

Nette, aber laute location. Das Essen und der Service haben uns leider überhaupt nicht überzeugt! Burger mittelmäßig, Pommes kalt und zu kurz frittiert. Brauchen wir definitiv nicht nochmal.

The restaurant is super cute! 🥰 We were there without a reservation and were already prepared to wait. But that wasn't the case. We came in and got a table straight away even though it was full. Then we were served relatively quickly👍👍 I can say that the food was really tasty. You don't come here if you want to eat something "healthy". It's just made according to American style. Large and tasty portions😁 The service was also friendly and attentive. We really liked it and even though we're not from the area, we would come here again especially for this restaurant! ☺️💖

After a long time we went to the Road House again and didn't regret it. The food came relatively quickly and was very tasty. The service was super friendly. We come more often 😊

The service could be improved, despite many free seats, you had to wait 20 minutes until the employee was finished making phone calls and strolling through the restaurant. Then she picked up around 16 guests who didn't belong together in one fell swoop and placed them. Why did you have to stand in the doorway unnoticed for 20 to 25 minutes? The patti of the burger felt like it was fried twice and was anything but juicy. Unfortunately, we couldn't let the staff know because we didn't see it after ordering and therefore decided not to place any further orders.

An old classmate pointed it out to me, went there and went with my parents for the second time in the evening. 10/10

Were there last night with 7 people, our order was taken after 40 minutes. The appetizer mozzarella stick cold. Main course all burgers and fries cold. No chance to order more drinks because others were greeted with hugs and long greetings, i.e. familiar and other customers. A quick summary of one of the worst evenings ever...what a shame

Simply unique! We stayed at the Road House and absolutely loved it! The food was uniquely delicious, from the juicy burgers to the perfectly cooked steaks, everything was on point. The sauces and side dishes in particular rounded off the taste experience. The service was extremely nice, attentive and warm, you immediately feel at home. Despite the busy restaurant, everything was served quickly and with a smile. The atmosphere is cozy and typically American, just right for a great evening with friends or family. We'll definitely be back! Highly recommended!

The Road House Diner is one of the classic burger shops in Paderborn. The good thing about this diner is that no matter what kind of burger you choose, it will always taste very good. The service is very good and the employees are all correct. The cool thing is the robots that sometimes bring you food. The diner definitely gets a clear recommendation from me. I'm already looking forward to the next visit😉

I always enjoy coming here, the food is always very good. The service is always good, it could just be a bit more attentive. That's the only reason for the star deduction. Otherwise it would be a straight 5

Das Essen ist ganz okay. Nur die Patties der Burger sind ungenießbar und wie Gummi. Man merkt, dass es sich hierbei um TK Ware handelt. Um sich den Bauch voll zu schlagen ist das All you can eat ganz gut.

On Saturday evening we visited this restaurant, which had a great atmosphere with its American ambience. The menu was varied and offered something for every taste. The robots that brought the food and drinks to the table were particularly impressive - a rather unusual but exciting experience in Germany. The food was excellent and the cozy atmosphere invited you to linger. A reservation is highly recommended as the restaurant is very busy.

Great food, fries until you drop and even as a vegetarian (vegan) I find a decent offer here! The waitresses are always nice! And the 50s/60s flair also comes across well. What I would actually like to see is a vegan mayo on offer! And maybe a vegan dessert, then I would be absolutely and 1000% satisfied <3

We spontaneously went here to eat something because my friend and I were just passing through. I believe this is the most liked of the Google restaurant suggestions. The waiters quickly came to the table, quickly served the ordered drink, and the food arrived a moment later - even though it was a Sunday evening and the pub was incredibly busy. Went there with two adults and three children, food came quickly and for everyone at the same time. The service was super friendly and helpful. The fact that the drinks were delivered by a robot was a highlight, especially for the children. The food was delicious and the portions were really big. We were then approached in a rather unfriendly manner: "It's not possible to simply implement it, but if you ask first, it's not like that!" When I asked if it wasn't possible, the answer was "no, it's not!" in an annoyed tone. Too bad

What a juice shop waited 40 minutes before a waitress came to take our order. The waitress should look for a new job if she doesn't want her current one. I've never seen such unfriendly service. Naughty really naughty!!!

Service includes a tip straight away, very interesting! Didn't get an invoice when paying in cash, unfriendly, listless, rude, the guest was threatened with poor sales!! Was disappointed, then next time I would prefer the gas station.... (PS write here 25 years of experience in the catering industry....)

Whenever we come to the door (A 33) there is only one opportunity to eat well, drink well, be served very nicely and enjoy the great ambience. We can only warmly recommend it to anyone who has never been there. Thank you for that 👍 We are already looking forward to the next time‼️‼️‼️

Burgers are generally good. A lot of it is TK convenience products but what can you expect? Of course it would be nicer if the patties, spare ribs and schnitzel were homemade, but for the price it's probably not possible. Service was a bit sloppy this time today and something was forgotten, which was finally added the second time we asked. But it can happen when it's full. But price-performance is okay

My son and I always saw the Road House from the A33 motorway exit when we drove to Paderborn City. Since we always wanted to go there, the time had finally come on Friday. Even though we hadn't reserved a table, we got one at around 5:30 p.m. The restaurant has the typical American diner style. At the entrance you are greeted politely and given a seat. The service was super nice and tried to fulfill our every wish. The kitties, robots that bring the drinks to the place, are funny for children. We will come again!

In my opinion, the staff chose the wrong profession. They think they can talk to the guests however they want. Training would be appropriate.

Great American diner atmosphere with great attention to detail. The robots that bring the drinks are cool and definitely a crowd pleaser. My meal, steak and fries, was delicious. I thought it was a shame that the salad was without dressing, otherwise it would have been 5 stars for the meal. But a salad completely devoid of moisture is a no-go for me. But the rest was really inviting.
