Riverside Lounge Terrasse in Bad Dürkheim

Das Resteraunt punktet mit seiner schönen Lage und der tollen Aussicht. Leider ließ der Service noch Platz nach oben, was das Erlebnis ein wenig trübte. Der (Pulled Pork) Burger für 20€, war nicht ganz der Stoff, aus dem BBQ Träume sind.

Hier sitzt man schön am Wasser und gerade jetzt wo alles blüht ist es wunderbar auf der Terrasse mit Blick auf die Saline. Kaffee ok, Kuchen lecker aber nicht gerade billig. Der Alkoholfreie Cocktail hatte etwas zu viel Eis. Nach Rücksprache mit der Bedienung ist Glutenfrei Essen auch nicht so ohne weiteres möglich. Das geht besser.

A lovely restaurant on the outdoor terrace of the Mercure Hotel. It's cheaper than you'd think, with options including an Aperol Spritz for €6.90 and pork fillet with wild mushroom cream sauce for €18.90. A lovely ambiance, with the Isenach River rippling by next door and a view of the famous saltworks.

We liked the food very much. But unfortunately the service was not unfriendly. The waitress told the other guests when they wanted to order a drink that she would wait until everyone was there because she didn't run twice. I've never experienced anything like that in a restaurant We wouldn't be cleared away, I think it's a shame

We had a very relaxed and very good milk coffee here. The outside area is very close to the saltworks. The service is also very good Recommended

The star is for the view. Unfortunately we had nothing except a beautiful view. We waited an hour for our drinks, which were received by a barely understandable and unfriendly waitress. I don't want to imagine what it's like when the terrace is full. Today a maximum of just under half of the places were occupied.

It's easy to endure here. Drinks and service are top. Ambience very nice. You can feel the fresh air from the saltworks that is right next to it. Can really recommend the whole hotel (Mercure). Perfect for a little vacation.

Unfortunately, it wasn't a pleasant evening. There were four of us sitting outside. First, a consistently unmotivated (blond) server took our orders, then we had to wait an unusually long time for drinks. Sometimes the wrong drinks were simply brought or forgotten. Things got critical during the meal... because the plates were cleared without asking by another server (dark-haired), although I was still eating, only my plate was gone. The same thing happened with my drink: a new one was brought, and the old one was simply cleared away by the man (dark-haired), even though it still contained two sips. Two of the four desserts "disappeared" (it can always happen that receipts don't arrive correctly, no question about it), but an apology would have been appropriate. All in all, we'll come back to enjoy a drink or two, but we'll skip the food. 😊

We were passing through and stopped here by chance and were very pleased. The atmosphere at the saltworks... beautiful. The food and service were excellent. We'll be back, and this time we'll be heading to Riverside!

The location is very nice, but the rest leaves a lot to be desired. My partner had a schnitzel with asparagus, but unfortunately, it wasn't very good; the hollandaise sauce already had a skin on it. I had baked vegetables with baked potatoes and salad. Unfortunately, the food was just sadly mediocre. And then there was the comment: "Oh, well, the last one's gone, it sounds delicious to eat the last leftovers." The cigarette machine didn't work; the staff were annoyed that I tried to help them again. My dog ​​didn't get ANYTHING TO DRINK, let alone asked for one.

Great food and super friendly service

The restaurant is in a good location in front of the saltworks. Went there today on Sunday and were very disappointed with the food. I ordered a schnitzel, after 15 minutes the female condition came back and said, unfortunately the schnitzel is out. I then ordered something else. After another 10 minutes, the schnitzel came surprisingly. About the food: The fries were lukewarm, the salad on the plate was not dressed and the cook should still be taught how to prepare a Viennese schnitzel. All of my food was cold after 5 minutes and unfortunately there was suddenly no service in sight. Unfortunately, the service has completely deteriorated in the last half of the year. We won't eat there anymore.

Wir haben soeben mit den Kindern hier auf der Terrasse zu Mittag gegessen, schöner Schattenplatz , nette junge Bedienung und leckeres Essen ! Wir würden auf jeden Fall wieder herkommen .

Extra gefragt, ob Aussentisch möglich ist, Bedienung bejahte. Eine große Flasche Wasser bestellt, Karte bekommen. Das wars. Danach 35 Minuten gewartet - niemand war mehr zu sehen und niemand kam. Bedienung gesucht, bezahlt und weg. Schade, wir saßen gerne hier …

Tolles Restaurant! Sehr schöne Aussicht auf die Salinen. Personal sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Der Kaffee ☕ war richtig lecker .

Aufgrund des heißen Wetters hatte ich mich entschlossen, im Garten des Hotels Mercure zu essen und habe es nicht bereut. Es war eine angenehme Umgebung und das Essen war geschmacklich lecker. Auch der Service war sehr aufmerksam.

Donnerstags Abends auf der schönen Terrasse sitzen, direkt an der Isenach, ggü. das Gradierwerk, gute Luft und sehr gutes Essen, dazu der hoteleigene super Service. Gibt nicht viel besseres, um entspannt etwas Livemusik zu hören.

Tolle lokation direkt gegenüber der salinen. Tolles Ambiente und die Wein Auswahl ist spitze. Freundliches und zuvorkommendes Personal. Hier kann man gemütlich verweilen

Just arriving from Italy we were slightly disappointed with the pasta: though it is not bad it is certainly German pasta and not Italian. All in all this restaurant offers decent enough food but if I’d ever stay here again I would go into the village for a meal.

Die Riverside Lounge liegt, nach Offenlegung und Renaturierung des Flüsschens Isenach, im Gebäude des Mercure Hotels in Bad Dürkheim. Der Aussenbereich ist sehr ansprechend gestaltet und man hat hier einen sehr schönen Ort zum Verweilen geschaffen, mit Blick auf einen fliessenden Bach und den tollen Gradierbau. Die Preise sind angemessen. Hervorzuheben ist die Zügigkeit und Freundlichkeit der Bedienung. Einfach vom Fach. Das Essen ist ausgezeichnet, tolle Kuchen runden das Angebot ab. Sehr empfehlenswert. Schön auch die Strandkörbe, in denen man sitzen kann, das Ambiente ist gepflegt und angenehm. Für Bad Dürkheim eine absolute Empfehlung. Jederzeit wieder.

Für den Preis kann man eine bessere Qualität in der Zubereitung erwarten. Vielleicht hatte der Koch auch nur einen schlechten Tag.

Terasse mit herrlichem Ausblick auf die Salinen , den Kurpark und den angrenzenden Bachlauf. Getränke und Service waren sehr gut. Ein paar Strandkörbe laden ebenfalls zum verweilen ein.

Die zum Mercure Hotel gehörende Terrasse liegt direkt am Kurpark und vis a vis zu den Salinen. Besonders am Abend ist das ein toller Anblick. Man kann auch bequem in Korbesesseln Platz nehmen und die leckeren Cocktails des Mercure genießen.
