We were there on a cloudy winter evening, so the Riverhouse doesn't seem quite the same as on a great summer evening with a fallow feeling. Idea: maybe the water is illuminated a little from the outside and it looks more effective in the dark. Food super tasty and fresh. Perfect! Service was really nice and friendly. We'll definitely be back... maybe right away for the winter BBQ...

Went there spontaneously for the first time and found the location and the ambience very nice. The menu wasn't very big but what we ordered was good. Service was very friendly. One of the few restaurants in Stuttgart am Neckar - definitely support it!

We were there briefly on Sunday Eat there and will definitely come back - great view & lots of vegan selection on the menu!

On a (unfortunately) rainy Sunday we were at the Riverhouse on the Neckar. Despite the weather, all the parking spaces were full because some people were there to do water sports. We were there for the restaurant and wanted to get an idea of ​​the a la carte menu. The restaurant or the terrace area is simply furnished with many wooden elements and wooden furniture. It's nothing special, but it's not bad either. Next door is the “sandy beach” as well as other locations that can be rented for events if necessary. There were many employees there that day. Apparently some new people were being trained, because we weren't served by one service person, but by several people, most of them silent observers of what was happening. The employees themselves were nice and accommodating. But for some it wouldn't have hurt to smile every now and then. We ordered two chilli burgers, a crispy chicken burger and a heifer rump steak. Unfortunately, the chilli burgers didn't convince us at all. The patties were tough and lacking in flavor, most likely a frozen product. The sauce could have been a finished product, because that's exactly how it tasted. Personally, I really missed freshness in this burger. The crispy chicken burger tasted very close to what a well-known fast food giant offers under the same name. This patty is also most likely frozen. The fries were quite acceptable, but nothing more. There was also a small coleslaw with the burgers, which was also quite ok. The rump steak was the only dish that could convince any of us. Frozen products were also used here: the herb butter was frozen and was placed on the steak in the same way. The steak was finished at some point, but the herb butter still hadn't thawed. In the end we paid just under €100 for it, including drinks. That's a lot, considering the quality wasn't that high. It's a shame because the location has so much potential. Suggestion for improvement: Not so much variation in the products would allow you to offer fresh products. With currently 6 burgers on the menu, there are 6 different patties made from a variety of ingredients. Nothing can be combined here and there is no potential to compensate for the missing orders of one dish with those of the other (based on the basic ingredients that have to be used up).

We were invited to a wedding there. The location is really very nice! Directly on the Neckar. There is the river beach where you can relax with a drink and let your gaze wander over the vineyards. The ambience is rustic with beach vibes. The entire Riverhouse was booked for our company and we had exclusive canoeing and stand-up paddleboarding. Great extra at a wedding! The food was a grill buffet. There was good meat, which was grilled with a little showmanship. The pork belly in particular was very tender. We also remember the good, mild coffee. Unfortunately there was an unpleasant experience with the bar staff. Here's the story: The wedding couple had organized a DJ who mainly played the bride and groom's desired music. Unfortunately, the bar staff weren't entirely happy with the music and played their own music on a box in the bar area. Despite repeated requests from the bride and groom, the staff refused to turn off the music. There was a long discussion and finally the staff's music box was turned off. After the wedding party had gone to bed (there is a river lodge on the first floor, nicely furnished and spacious) the music was turned up very loud again. The bride and groom had to ask again to turn off the music. The behavior of the bar staff is absolutely unacceptable. The bride and groom paid a lot of money for this day and put a lot of energy and strength into the planning. Update: The organizer accommodated our friends in terms of price due to the inconvenience.

A restaurant in Stuttgart with a pleasant lakeview. While the atmosphere is okay, not too fancy or elegant, the service is moderate. The meals are served quickly, but most of it consists of convenience food. We had a chili burger, the patties were not self-made. The fries were not completely cooked-through. The Caesar‘s salat very small; without the added protein, it would have been nothing.

Great location. However.... Despite a reservation, we were not offered a table by the water. When something became free, I tried twice to ask a waiter if we could just slide through the table. But the gentleman just kept walking even though he must have heard me. Very embarrassing situation for me too. The third time we were no longer ignored, but we were told "no, we are not allowed to move around the table anymore (sliding through the table) because we had already ordered". Which I found to be very inflexible. Because you could have easily changed the table number. (Table numbers movable on the table). Were there at 7:45 p.m. The food didn't come until 45 minutes later. And around us, people were already saying that orders had already been mixed up or forgotten. You felt rather uncomfortable. In my opinion, the process could be planned better. Wouldn't come to eat again or recommend the restaurant. But everyone can decide for themselves. Maybe we just had a bad day. I can't generalize now. However, once you have had a bad experience, you won't come back as a guest.

We celebrated our wedding at the Riverhouse/Riverbeach in July and all the guests loved the location! We had a free wedding ceremony on the beach, arrived by boat and all guests were very well provided with all kinds of drinks right from the start! We received consistently positive feedback from everyone about both the food (grill buffet) and the service! Girls and boys, you did a great job! 👍🏻 A huge thank you also goes to our project manager Franzi, who was always available for us, implemented our special requests and organized the evening superbly, both with the service and in other ways! Everything worked out just as we imagined! Thanks to the whole team! Thank you for your flexibility!

My visit to Riverhouse Locations Restaurant was a real treat. The starter was sophisticated and tasted excellent. The main course, a perfectly cooked salmon, was tender and extremely tasty. Every dish was prepared with great care and attention to detail. The ambience of the restaurant is stylish and fits perfectly with the beach look. The decoration and the location directly on the Neckar River contribute to an extraordinary atmosphere. The atmosphere was consistently pleasant and inviting. The region around the restaurant also invites you to explore, which makes the visit even more attractive. Overall, the Riverhouse Locations Restaurant is highly recommended for anyone who appreciates good food and a nice ambience.

If you are going for the food, then Don’t ! For a great view , the menu is very short and there are not many options specially if you are a Vegetarian ( I am not but my friends are vegetarian) It’s a German restaurant with just a beautiful view. It’s better if you just go for drinks. I ordered handmade Tea, it tasted nothing like a handmade tea , basically syrup.

Lots of green in the middle of Stuttgart. Very inviting to relax. Riverhouse directly on the Neckar with canoe, scooter, hiking and restaurants with a beach. Eyth See just around the corner. Highly recommended!

We waited 1.5 hours for the food

Unfortunately we didn't like the food and waiting an hour for the food can happen if the restaurant is overcrowded, but that wasn't the case. Man keeps trying to order drinks but no one cares in the restaurant area. Chance given. The first and last visit for us. Maybe drinks on the beach area. You feel rather uncomfortable in the restaurant. It's a shame and good luck.

We had a wonderful wedding reception at Riverhouse & Riverbeach. In addition to the fantastic ambience, the location stands out with its particularly delicious food and a very courteous team. We can only advise every future wedding couple to choose this location.

We celebrated our dream wedding at the Riverhouse. A casual beach party on the river beach was actually planned, but unfortunately it fell into the water. What made us very sad beforehand wasn't bad at all in retrospect. In the Riverhouse you are simply super flexible and even the worst weather can't dampen the mood there. The team is extremely friendly and very professional. Everything is thought of and even spontaneous requests for changes, which were unavoidable for us due to the weather, are implemented with a stress-free friendliness. Thank you for that! We would particularly like to highlight the buffet. It far exceeded our own expectations and was also highly praised by our guests. We can fully recommend the double location Riverhouse and Riverbeach for 130 guests to all hosts who are still undecided! DJ Cookie from DJ-Stuttgart was also great! The dance floor was always full, the atmosphere was excellent right up to the bitter end and no music wish went unfulfilled. Thanks <3

Been there a few times and was very satisfied every time! The food always tastes great and the service is always friendly. The ambience is unique due to the beautiful location on the Neckar. I will definitely come by more often! Recommendation 100% from me.

We celebrated our “love festival” at Riverview and are absolutely thrilled! We had a wonderful, exuberant celebration, just as we imagined! Not only did the prior coordination with the team go perfectly, everything on the day itself was as discussed. The aperitivo was great, the drinks were delicious, the buffet was a culinary delight! The entire service team was super friendly, relaxed and at the same time “on the ball” and always made sure that everyone felt very comfortable! Thank you very much for everything! We highly recommend this location!

I travelled a lot, I never experienced the fachism this evident. We sat there waiting for 1h20 to be served our meal while everybody around us was already served. We left without eating understanding that as strangers we are not welcomed. Shame on you.

Great location. The taste of the food wasn't the highlight, but it was ok. Had 2 burgers.

We were there today, May 1st, and wanted to eat. We sat down on the sandy beach and happily read your menu. First there was no service for 15 minutes. I had to run to the bar twice and ask for someone to come. Then the waitress told us that only certain dishes could be eaten at Sandstramd. I wanted to eat a Caesar salad, but was refused. But I could have eaten umami burger or bruschetta there. I offered to pick up the salad myself from the back of the restaurant. That wasn't allowed either. So either A) you just lay out a card on the sandy beach with the products that can be eaten there (even if I find it strange, what is the difference between a burger and a salad) B) you are service and customer oriented and let us eat the salad there, even if it is not intended that way We asked several waiters about the tjema and none of them could help us, they all said helplessly that unfortunately they weren't the boss. We left there without eating. Great location, but the service also has to be right

Super nice place to have a family celebration. Totally nice staff!

As a Cannstatt wedding photographer, I can highly recommend the Riverhouse. A really cool location for a celebration. It is beautifully located directly on the banks of the Neckar and offers a wide variety of rooms (depending on the number of guests), even a small vineyard cottage. There is your own boat dock and you can have a chilled party with your friends on the river beach, eat delicious food and even do stand-up paddling or canoeing. I'm looking forward to being here again for a wedding in the summer.

Had brunch here today from 10am-12pm and then from 1pm-2pm. Given the large selection and quality of the food, it is highly recommended and definitely worth the price! If we come to Stuttgart again, stopping (and eating) here is a must!

Wir haben unsere Hochzeit im Riverhouse gefeiert und es war ein super schönes Fest. Sowohl die verschiedenen Räumlichkeiten, mit ihrer sehr praktischen Aufteilung, als auch die direkte Lage am Neckar sind traumhaft schön. Die Betreuung im Vorfeld war kompetent und zielgerichtet. Wir konnten mit allen Anliegen und Fragen jederzeit auf unsere Projektleiterin zugehen. Auch während der Feier war das gesamte Personal kompetent, zuvorkommend und immer super freundlich. Das Essen und die Getränke waren herausragend. Es haben wirklich alle unsere Gäste den guten Service und vor allem das hervorragende Essen gelobt. Die Vorbereitung und auch die Feier liefen von Anfang an unkompliziert und entspannt ab. Ein weiterer großer Vorteil ist, dass man alles aus einer Hand bekommt und man zusätzlich viele sehr gute Hochzeitsdienstleister empfohlen bekommt. Wir können das Riverhouse wirklich als (Hochzeits-)Location uneingeschränkt empfehlen.

War am Samstag auf einer Hochzeit dort als Musiker, tolles Ambiente, super freundliches Personal und grandioses Essen inkl. Feuertonne vor der Tür mit spektakulär leckeren Rindersteaks. Ich war echt beeindruckt. Party ging bis 5 Uhr früh und das Personal war bis zum letzten Moment mega professionell und engagiert. Danke!

ABSOLUTE EMPFEHLUNG!!! Wir haben unsere Hochzeit im Oktober 2023 im Riverhouse gefeiert. Während unseres ersten Besichtigungstermins wussten wir schon, dass das unsere Traumlocation ist. Die Angestellten sind super freundlich und immer im (gleichen) internen Team eingesetzt. Mit Nadja hatten wir die perfekte Planerin an der Hand und konnten mit ihr vertrauensvoll alle Themen besprechen aber auch übergeben und wussten es ist in guten Händen. Selbst hatten wir somit kaum to do‘s. Die eigentliche Feier war ein Traum. All unsere Wünsche wurden erfüllt Bzw wurden wir auf zusätzliche Optionen hingewiesen, die inklusive waren. Das Essen war grandios und von allen Gästen genossen. Und dies trotz Behelfsküche, wo ich ehrlich gesagt anfangs eher skeptisch war - wie sich herausgestellt hat, unberechtigt. Das floss hatten wir auch dazu gebucht und wir uns alle Gäste fanden das toll. Großes Kompliment an die komplette Crew: ihr seid professionell, stets super nett und macht einfach nen Bomben Job! Danke!!!

Waren heute mit dem Rad zum ersten Mal dort. Leider nur zum Kaffee und Kuchen. Die Burger am Nebentisch haben sehr lecker ausgeschaut. Location direkt am Neckar. Sehr schön. Leider nur Sonntags geöffnet.

Sehr sehr schöne Location zum Essen in Stuttgart mit gutem Essen und angenehmer Musik. Leider ist das Restaurant nur Sonntags für die Öffentlichkeit geöffnet, wodurch ich seltener hier bin, als ich es gerne wäre.

Das Restaurant hat eine tolle Lage am Flussufer und entsprechend eine sehr schöne Aussicht im Außenbereich. Das Ambiente im Innenbereich ist ebenfalls angenehm. Die Preise sind vergleichbar mit denen anderer solcher Locations. Soweit mit den positiven Punkten. Der Service ist extrem langsam und unorganisiert. In der Speisekarte fehlen einige Klassiker, die man normalerweise in so einer Gaststätte erwarten würde. Die Burger schmecken gut. Allerdings hatten zwei Personen aus unserer Gruppe Magenprobleme und einige Beschwerden direkt nach der Verzehr der Burger. Den Zusammenhang kann man natürlich nicht beweisen, aber der kurze Zeitabstand nach dem Essen und die Tatsache, dass gleich zwei Personen betroffenen waren, sind sehr auffällig. Riskieren werde ich es nicht noch einmal.

Super Lage direkt am Neckar. Gute Küche und Getränke sowie eine Beach Bar zum Chillen.

Diese Rezension bezieht sich nur auf den Stuttgart-Erlebnistag für Paare via Jochen Schweizer. Dieser präsentiert sich als eine Art für Pärchen recyceltes Familienausflugskonzept. Im Prinzip wurden dafür einfach mehrere Dinge, die Riverhouse ohnehin anbietet, wie zB Kanadier zu verleihen, zu einem sg. "Erlebnis" zusammengetackert. Das erklärt auch ein wenig die Aktivitäten wie das Herumfahren mit unmotorisierten Tretrollern in mittelmäßigem Zustand und dass Wurst im Wecken essen (einziges Essen) schon als Highlight gilt, natürlich exklusive Getränk. Ich habe mir dann notgedrungen noch ein Bier und ein Wasser gekauft, da man sonst den Tag nicht durch käme. Wir waren dann abends auch wo anders groß essen, da wir uns hier ein bisschen abgezogen vorkamen. Ein Gutschein mit drei Außenaktivitäten aber nicht mal ein Wasser drin? Dann doch lieber den Gutschein 3 Euro teurer machen und ein Bier/Getränk mit rein, wenn man es an Erwachsene verkauft. Boote etc kann man hier bedenkenlos mieten, die sahen alle top aus.

Schönes Ambiente, direkt am Neckar. Leider war unser Eiskaffee, der schlechtste, den wir jemals getrunken haben.

Ich war am vergangenen Samstag zum ersten Mal als DJ bei einer Hochzeit im Riverview. Ich war geflashed! Für eine kleinere Hochzeitsgesellschaft, bei schönem Wetter eine traumhafte Location, dazu ein super freundlicher Service und ein leckeres Essen. Ich werde die Location auf jedenfall weiterempfehlen und auch mal privat kommen.

Als Hochzeitsfotograf und auch schon als Eventfotograf für ein Unternehmen, habe ich im Riverhouse und im Riverview Veranstaltungen begleitet. Zusammengefasst: mehrere Locations je nach Gästezahl, Top Personal, super Essen! Das Riverhouse ist groß, direkt am Neckar gelegen und schlicht/rustikal eingerichtet, und bietet als Highlight einen kleinen Sandstrand mit Liegen. Man kann hier auch mit einem Boot anlegen, also als Brautpaar per Boot ankommen. Hier gibt es im oberen Stock auch ein paar Übernachtungsmöglichkeiten. Das Riverview ist eine zweite Location, ein paar Meter entfernt. Dort hat man eine große Terrasse, für schöne Sommermonate (überdacht mit ausfahrbarer Markise). Parkplätze sind bei beiden Locations vorhanden. Im „Steiler Zucker“, ein kleines Gartengrundstück in den Weinbergen, ein paar Schritte entfernt vom Riverview, kann man super eine freie Trauung machen. Direkt neben an ist der Max-Eyth-See der sich für die Brautpaarfotos ideal anbietet. Kann diese Locations nur empfehlen. Wenn ihr einen, mit den örtlichen Gegebenheiten vertrauten Fotografen braucht, schreibt mir gerne… Liebe Grüße Stefan

Ich war noch nie dort leider, obwohl ich in der Nähe wohne ich bin echt schockiert über die (mutmasslichen) Brandstiftungen was ist bloß mit den Menschen los? Hoffentlich klärt sich bald alles. Alles Gute dazu. 🍀🍀🍀

Liebes Riverhouse Team, Ich hatte gestern das Vergnügen, euer Restaurant zu besuchen, und ich bin begeistert! Das Essen war spektakulär, der Service herausragend und die Atmosphäre einfach perfekt. Ich werde definitiv wiederkommen! Herzliche Grüße!

Ich war zum SUP boarden vor Ort. Sehr freundlich wurde ich empfangen, eingewiesen und dann durfte ich auch schon los paddeln. Der Ausblick vom Wasser auf die Weinberge war sehr schön und beruhigend. Für eine Stunde nach dem Feierabend sehr empfehlenswert. Nur der Neckar selbst lud nicht zum Schwimmen ein.

10/10 The location is incredible, you can just eat next to the river. The food is tasty and the portions are totally fine. The staff is really friendly. I would recommend the beef burger, it was delicious and big. Also the salads and starters are very good options. Wanna come back soon and try also the Paddle surf.

Mega location! Mega service! Alles richtig gemacht!

Wir haben hier unsere Hochzeit gefeiert. Wir hatten eine freie Trauung an ihrem Grundstück am Weinberg und hatten die Location Riverhouse + Riverbeach. Auch haben wir das Apartment im Riverhouse für die Nacht mitgebucht. Die Location am Neckar und den Weinbergen ist perfekt, es hat einen Grund, warum da soviel Wein angebaut wird :). Alle Gäste haben gesagt, wie toll sie die Location finden, auch das Essen und die Drinks haben alle nur gelobt. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich, kompetent, zuverlässig und hilfsbereit. Das Apartment ist auch nur zu empfehlen, besonders wenn man nach der großen Party nur noch die Füße hochlegen will, was nach einer Saunasession im Jakuzzi auf der Dachterasse besonders gut geht. Rückblickend fühlt sich der Tag wie ein sehr schöner Traum an und das Team sowie das Riverhouse haben diesen Traum möglich gemacht und wir werden garantiert sonntags zum Riverbeach immer wieder vorbei kommen um in Erinnerungen und der Sonne zu schwärmen <3

für mich sind die gerade einmal 3,2 Sterne mehr als unverständlich, die Location ist echt super schön, „Strandbar“ Sand mit Liegen und Sitzmöglichkeiten im Außenbereich mit den passenden Getränken, läd perfekt zum entspannten zusammensitzen ein. Das Restaurant ist ebenfalls sehr schön, das Essen verdient aber leider nur knapp 4 Sterne, die Burger waren sehr lecker, die Pommes allerdings leider nur Lauwarm. Die Vorspeisen wurden mit dem Hauptgang geliefert, oder teilweise sogar erst danach, trotz allem war das Essen gut. Am Service und an der Restaurantqualität könnte man noch etwas feilen, dann wäre das ein echter Geheimtipp.

Wir kommen wieder. Rundum gelungen! Man darf sogar mit eigenem SUP dort starten und anlegen.

Had a great night with BBQ food and drinks arranged for a large group. Food was a great selection and very tasty.

Wir waren zu einer Konfirmation im Riverhouse im Mai 2023. Es war absolut perfekt. Wir wurden extrem freundlich empfangen. Und wurden während des kompletten Aufenthaltes rund um die Uhr betreut. Gleich sofort beim Eintreten persönlich empfangen und begrüßt, dass wir jeden Wunsch äußern sollen. Es war nicht nur eine Bewirtung sondern eine regelrechte Betreuung. So einen Service haben wir schon lange nicht mehr erlebt. Auch unsere Gäste waren mehr als begeistert. Also liebe Grüße an den Mitarbeiter der für uns zuständig war aber auch an alle anderen Mitarbeiter, die auch sehr aufmerksam waren. Und an die Organisatorin die im Vorfeld den Aufenthalt mit mir durchgesprochen hatte. Auch die war so fürsorglich und freundlich, dass ich nach dem ersten Kontakt sofort alle weiteren alternativ Optionen abgesagt hatte. Es wurde alles so möglich gemacht, wie wir uns das wünschten und man hat uns ermöglicht alle Wünsche so umzusetzen, dass es für uns passte. Auch die Aufmerksamkeit bezüglich des Menüs und nochmalige Abfrage da auffiel, dass es ein Essen zu wenig war. Wirklich toll. Das Essen war fantastisch. Extrem bis ins Detail zubereitet und liebevoll dekoriert. Alle unsere Gäste haben sich nur absolut positiv geäußert und waren begeistert. Ich denke so etwas kommt nicht oft vor. Wir können diese Location empfehlen und würden noch einen Stern mehr geben, wenn es möglich wäre.
